Personality: A lot of people describe Keiji as a human vitamin. Though he's quiet, he can bring people's moods up with just a few words. Keiji is a very positive person, always thinking the best of others. He's super sweet, and will put all his energy into conversations and helping others. It's really hard to upset him, but when he is, he just shuts down. Keiji has never been good at handling negative emotions, always preferring to stay happy.

Background:

As soon as Keiji was born, he was always being pampered and spoiled by his family. Growing up in a small village, he was known by everyone, and so it was easy to make friends as he grew up. Though, he was quiet and meek, and his siblings definitely took notice. They were extremely overprotective, one wrong look towards Keiji and they were at his defense in less than a second. As much as he appreciated it, Keiji sometimes used to get annoyed at them. As he grew up though, he accepted that it's just how they are.

At a young age, Keiji and his friends would always be moving around and dancing. It's something Keiji's parents took notice of and decided to sign him up for dance lessons, which were unfortunately 45 minutes away as there was no studio close to where they lived. He absolutely adored it, Keiji didn't think he would enjoy dancing that much, but it became his true passion.

When Keiji turned 15, he went to Tokyo to attend an arts high school (much to his parents' dismay). What he didn't account for was how much he would miss his parents and the village. He had gotten so used to that life that Tokyo was a complete slap in the face, it made him very anxious living there. When he joined his new dance studio, though, it got a lot better.

That was also when he met Yamamoto Itsuki.

Keiji couldn't lie, Itsuki was very attractive. He had known that he was gay for a while, but Keiji never had a crush on someone like this before. Though, he knew nothing would ever happen because Itsuki was an adult, 22 to be exact. There would never be anything that would happen.

Until one night, Itsuki and Keiji were alone when Keiji suddenly went into heat. He had thought he was a beta, as there had been no hints of him being anything else for the past few years. Apparently, that was untrue, because here he was, sweaty as fuck and overheating. Right next to his extremely attractive dance instructor.

His extremely attractive dance instructor who was approaching him with hunger in his eyes. Who grabbed him and smirked and said, "Don't worry Keiji, I'm gonna take care of you."

And Keiji enjoyed every second of it. He basked in the attention that he had never received before, not like that. He was worried that after that night, Itsuki would never speak to him again. But it was the opposite. Itsuki was always with Keiji now, and it wasn't long before they began a secret relationship.

It was wrong, Keiji knew it was wrong, but it felt so good to be taken care of and loved like this. He would spend the night at Itsuki's place, since Keiji had his own room at his dormitory, no one would know or care if he was there or not. Life was great, Keiji felt blessed.

Until Itsuki slowly began to change. First, it was in his words, he became a lot more controlling and possessive, which would be fine if he also didn't verbally attack Keiji, blaming him for every little thing that went wrong. Suddenly, he was always yelling at Keiji for every little thing; not having dinner ready, taking too long in the shower, or even doing his homework. Nothing was good enough in Itsuki's eyes, and it hurt Keiji a lot.

Not as much as the punches and beatings he started receiving towards the end of high school. Two years, and Keiji was only being verbally abused, until one day when Itsuki snapped and punched him. It wasn't a light punch either, it was a bone cracking punch. And what hurt Keiji more is how caring Itsuki was, how remorseful he sounded. That's the man Keiji fell in love with, not this monster.

A few weeks after that incident, Keiji found out he was pregnant. Immediately, he knew he could not raise a child with Itsuki, they would never be safe in a house like this. So, Keiji aborted it a week after he found out, and he cried. He had always wanted a baby.

Not even a few hours later, Itsuki came home, absolutely livid. When Keiji asked him what's wrong, all he got was a hand around his throat and an unhealthy amount of swear words thrown at him. Apparently, the abortion clinic sent an email to Keiji. And he completely forgot that Itsuki made sure he had access to it. When Keiji tried explaining himself, Itsuki was having none of it. He grabbed Keiji's hair and dragged him to the bedroom.

That was the first and only time he forced Keiji into anything.

4 weeks later, Keiji's pregnancy test came back positive.

Keiji finished high school hiding his pregnancy from everyone. He avoided all of his friends, and made sure no one found out. He didn't even tell his siblings. They would be so disappointed in him if they knew.

On August 17th, 2019, Keiji gave birth to his daughter Michi 3 months early. Itsuki never showed up that day, or visited any of the other days Keiji was staying. Or ever visited his daughter in the 2 months she was in the hospital. So, it's Itsuki's fault that Michi took Keiji's last name. That was the cause of their first argument that wasn't just one sided. Keiji got beat badly that night.

From the day she was born, everything Keiji did was for Michi and Michi only. She was his joy, his everything, and he'd be damned if she grew up in this environment. But they didn't have anywhere to go, which is why Keiji stayed with Itsuki. He fell out of love the minute he realized Itsuki wasn't gonna be present in their daughter's life.

In 2021, Keiji was running on autopilot. He wasn't working, but each night would snatch money from Itsuki to slowly save up to leave Japan. Fortunately, he wouldn't have to do that for long, because Itsuki was arrested. One day, when they were all at home, the police showed up with a warrant for Itsuki's arrest. Apparently, he had been selling drugs for years and Keiji had absolutely no idea.

He was arrested though, meaning Keiji was free. With the money he took from Itsuki, and money given to him through support as he's a single father now, Keiji was able to take him and Michi to South Korea.

When he arrived, the first thing Keiji did was text Kotomi asking for her address. He showed up at her doorstep, and when he saw her, immediately burst into tears because god, he missed her so fucking much.

Keiji stayed with them for a bit before Kaida, Kotono and Kotomi pitched in to get Keiji a small apartment where he stayed with Michi.

After a few months of getting acclimated, Kotomi asked him to talk.

"Listen, Ji, I know how talented you are, I've seen videos of you dancing your heart out. Why don't you come to Nebula?"

"I have Michi, I can't-"

"Ji, we have a bunch of parents under the company. Please just try, for me?"

After a few weeks of contemplation, Keiji showed up to an open audition for Nebula Records.
