Background: Although Sage has lived in Korea all her life, her mother is American. Her mother moved to Korea when she was 20 to study there and ended up liking it, so she decided to just live there. Her mother than met her dad just after his previous wife died, fell in love, got married and had Sage and her older brother Rowan. When she was 11, her mother and father got divorced, and her mom moved back to America to take care of her parents. Sage and Rowan stayed in Korea with their dad and half/step brothers, but went to visit their mother and her side of the family every summer.
