Siya's POV:

I still can't believe I'm married...and I'm sitting right now in an unknown house.. unknown room... which probably is supposed to be my home for lifetime???

What just happened in last 1 week...

A week back I was only thinking of increasing price of my hazelnut chocolate cake that was in huge demand now.. And dropping the idea of litchee cake which didn't click quiet well...

And here Iam today thinking what a messed up recepie my life cooked for me...

Things just happened one after other...

Garlands were exchanged...

My dad did my kanyadan with tearful eyes... ideally I was supposed to cry...but I didn't cry a drop...I don't know why...I just didn't feel like... and everytime I saw Aditi I felt why did she do this. ...but I'm not angry at her. She's always been this. She always liked KitKat that I had when she had a 2 dairy milk... That's her nature...

All I hope is she won't end up making more stupid decisions in life...I can't cover up for her always... anyways one good thing is she'll be here in 3 weeks...I already miss her😔

Till then I'm alone here between unknown people. .

God I don't know anyone here....can I jump from this window down??? I saw they have a huge lawn..

The ksrtc bus stand is quite nearby...I can take first bus to Bangalore and escape???

She literally walked towards the nearby glass window then thought she's acting ameture.

Looking at the mangalsutra (red bead necklace that husband makes wife wear in s GSB wedding) she again remembered the moment when Raghav's hands mechanically tied it across her neck... Ofcourse their eyes met for a minute but Raghav's face looked emotionless...She couldn't read his face nor his thoughts...While there was only fear on her face...it's like a bird now captured in a cage...While she looked into her mobile phone and saw the wallpaper of her hugging Aditi...

Though she was upset with her... that smile on Aditi's face brought a faint smile on her lips...

She loved her elder sister so much after all Siya had limited friends and Aditi was her first bestie... Aditi tried to boss her younger sister but outside she was the most protective elder sister...A thought crossed across her mind while the school bus driver tried to touch her inappropriately and Siya couldn't say anyone but Aditi who was her shadow discovered it and a mere 9th std student Aditi had beaten the hell out of bus driver...She was brave enough to complain to the principal and also explain her parents... Aditi was always her guardian angel... however she behaved like a snob when Siya was given more importance at home...Aditi was the best at all the things and she preferred it that way... however she was also a protective sister but sometimes a bully too...but then Siya didn't mind because she knew Aditi loved her...

Siya wasn't good in mathematics but due to parental pressure she took science in 12th and discovered it wasnt her cup of tea but Aditi made sure she studied regularly and cleared her 12th exams...For the first time Siya scored 82% all thanks to Aditi...But Aditi being the topper was pissed off at the marks her sister earned and was so unhappy that she didn't join Siya's results celebration...But Siya managed to hug and kiss her elder sister and got her by her side 😍

However they again had issues when Siya chose to do BA in culinary arts and was humiliated all her degree life by her sister saying my sister wants to be a housewife like that was something low to her grade...

However Siya didn't take it negatively as she was proud of her mom who was also a housewife and respected her equally as that of a working professional...hence She didn't bother paying much heed to the taunts infact it motivated her do well to complete her degree in flying colors and also ended up getting scholarship to her PG Diploma in specialising for getting her dream job of a bakery chef...And now finally Siya's was a household name in making vegetarian cakes and vegan cakes without comprising with taste.

While still in her thoughts standing near the window she heard the door knob click...

She knew he was here...Her body was stiff now...Her legs went colder...But she tried to compose herself...

She prepped mentally about how to address her thoughts to him...

Raghav's POV:

Alright... This is it ..face it... You have to live with this...Man up Raghav...Man up...

He somehow built confidence...He had to face this...he had to talk to her...She wasn't Vedika his college crush nor was it Aditi whom he fell for....it was Siya...And she was his WIFE!!!

WIFE!!! That's a big word.

While he entered the room...he saw Siya still dressed in a heavy Saree that she had worn while the family went to Venkatramana Temple to offer prayers to Lord Veera Venkatesha...It is a tradition in every Konkani family to visit their beloved god and offer a pooja the same night of marriage...As to get god's blessings before the new beginning...but here there was no begin neither a end...they were stuck with each other...it was....it was a mess!!!

While Siya turned her gaze towards Raghav... Thats when it striked her that the room was decorated with roses and jasmine flowers...the smell was strong enough to give Siya a light headache as she had sinus issues...

Raghav smiled at Siya and walked towards her who continued to look outside the window while still fiddling with her red beaded Mangalsutra...

There were numerous thoughts running in her head which suddenly came into rest the minute she felt Raghav standing next to her near the window....

He thought to let out the awkwardness and begin the conversation like a professional...

Raghav: Ummm... So you liked the room...

Siya suddenly jolted and quickly replied...: Oh... hmmm..Yes..I guess...I ...I didn't check out much...she looked down...

Raghav: Ohhh...Ok...Well then this is my...uhhh...our room...... That sounded a little uncomfortable saying but it was the truth...now that they were married it's her room too...

That's the mini coffeebar next to my mini office work table...I am workoholic and am a huge coffee lover...he smiled sheepishly...to which she smiled...

This is the washroom...This is the closet area ... changing area and that's the balcony... that's my favorite place in this room... Come... He welcomed her while she followed him to the glass door that opened to the backside of the house...the view of a rose garden by the poolside was visible to from there which was beautiful... The balcony had a few creepers and a few hanging pots... Bringing a beautiful smile on Siya's face...

Siya: So you're a nature lover? That's nice... she smiled

Raghav(surprised): How did you?

Siya: Ahmmmm...well...This is an exclusive view... Your room has a really nice view...sideways to the lawn and backwards to the flower garden...Then these beautiful creepers and plants in your balcony... making things obvio she smiled

Raghav was pretty impressed with her observing skills...

There was a small white swing a two seater basically... Raghav asked Siya to take a seat and she silently obeyed...While he sat beside her...That swing was perfect for two...

Siya........... Raghav called out

While she simply traversed her gaze from the creepers towards him...

Raghav continued...

Raghav: Siya ... Ummmm... I know how and in what situation this wedding took place... I know neither you nor was I ready for it...but we gave in just to please our loved ones....so it's not going to be a rosy relationship obviously.....but I can promise you one thing... You will never have to feel worried or uncomfortable about sharing this room with me..please feel comfortable... This room is as much yours as mine... And you can trust me...Though I'm a rejected case...I'm a gentleman ...he had a sad smile on his face...

Just while he saw away from her...he heard her say

'Why do you say that?'

Raghav looked at her... he was confused...
'Did I say anything wrong? I'm sorry...if i'

She nodded her head in a No...and said 'Dont say that again'

Raghav: Say what?

Siya: That you are a rejected case... no one rejects anyone...My sister is a fool... She has always been like this...she always takes decisions in jeopardy and ends up in a mess ...infact she should be sorry for screwing up your life and see now you are stuck with me...me from nowhere.. she gave a sarcastic laugh

Raghav: No...it's not Aditi's fault alone...my family didn't specify much...it's all a confusion... Can we...can we not discuss Aditi please....

Siya notes the frustration in his voice at the mention of her sister's name... the voice sounded disturbed which was calm till now...she thought of avoiding Aditi's topic as she thought it was s sensitive subject...After all he loved her...

Siya: Raghav.... I know...this wedding was a sudden one...we don't know each other...we don't even know if we are compatible... But...let me assure you...I will give my best to make sure to atleast run a smooth life.... I have nothing else to offer you as of now...but...
I can offer you my friendship...🙂
She said in a low tone...

While Raghav lifted his head to look at her...Their eyes met for a brief period and he suddenly looked away to break the eye lock... Then he smiled to himself...

'Sure...' he said and offered his hand to her...

She smiled and quickly shook his hand...

Their handshake brought smiles in that room atleast warding off awkwardness for now...

'Hawwwwwwwwwww'
Siya suddenly yawned...Then she covered her big mouth with both her hands shyfully...

Raghav laughed loudly...
'Careful ... A mosquito may enter in'

Siya smirked at him and then chuckled ...

Raghav: Guess you're tired...come lets sleep...

He said and Siya froze
