Aizawa - Teaching is hard

A/n: I haven't been introduced to 2-A yet so.

Quirk: Light solidification. User can Create beams of light into solid objects and back. When light is solidified it maintains its glow. The beam must be clearly visible, cut off by a shadow or object to have a sharp point. Drawback: When quirk is used too much light begins to burn user causing scorch marks and terrible sunburns to be common.

Hero costume above.

Aizawa sighed as he walked into the classroom.

The students bowed, giving him a greeting.

"Today, you will be training with 2-a."

A wave of murmurs and excited whispers spread throughout the class.

"Go change into your hero costumes and meet us outside in gym gamma."

The students quickly made their ways towards the locker rooms.

Aizawa stood patiently on the sidelines waiting for both the other class and his own.

He could see his students slowly exiting the locker rooms with purpose as they too waited for the elder U.A. students to arrive.

Everyone watched in awe as a woman with a flowy hero costume and a small smile walked through the door her class following.

"Good morning everyone! My name is Y/n L/n but you call me mom. I'm the teacher of class 2-a!"

Everyone shielded their eyes as her bright smile lit up the room.

"Mom?" Mina asked confused at the weird nickname.

"Y/n is a very respected teacher that always has a good relationship with her students. Most people call her mom, and she calls most of her students by their given name."

"Y-Y/n, isn't that her given name?"

"We're close so she asks me to call her that instead of her family name.

Aizawa answered for her, as he watched the woman usher her students, with a great sense of pride. She told them to find a student that looked capable and spar with them.

She made her way up to her fellow teacher giving him a small smile as they surveyed their students.

"Can't wait to have 'em next year." She whispered.

"Don't make em soft. You know how third year teachers are..."

"And you know I am anything but soft."

He chuckled his own smile starting to form.

"Lyrale do you not have a partner?" The woman asked a lone student.

"No mom."

"Well why don't you try to take out that spikey haired blonde over there, I hear he's quite the trouble maker..."

The female student pranced off to beat up the poor first year as the teachers tried to hold back their snickers.

Lyrale had a quirk that redirects attacks back at her opponents.

"He looks like he's about to explode, oh my god!" She laughed as the boy covered in ash stormed over to them.

She put on a straight face as he yelled his ass off.

"What, you can't handle a second year student. Look at her, she's made of glass, and you can't even put a dent in her..."

Aizawa forced down a laugh as the second year teacher teased the boy.

He grumbled a few curses before running off to try again.

"I can't wait to beat some sense into that one..."

"He's an interesting student, I think he could use someone like you in his life."

"Isn't he the one that was kidnapped. I feel like he just needs a strong person to lean on. I can see him eyeballing that redheaded rock boy over there. It's kind of cute. Opposites."

Aizawa snorted.

"Most of the kids don't even know it when they look over at someone. The only one that can see it in my class is the sparkle boy over there."

"He looks like he took a bath in sequins and glitter then washed it all off with rose water."

Aizawa laughed and smiled catching a few of his students off guard.

"Hey mom!"

"Yeah Luna?"

"This kid just passed out and those two have stomach aches!"

"Well, let's get them to recovery girl Shouta..."

They made light conversation as they set the kids on the medical robot's bed thingies.

"I never understood why those robots have personalities. Or names."

"You named them."

"We were in our first year I didn't think Nezu would agree!"

"Yeah well he did so who's fault is that?"

"Not mine!"

She argued with a huff as he rolled his eyes, sending off the three kids.

They walked back to the training children who were currently taking a break for water.

"M-Miss L/n?" One stuttered as he raised his hand.

"Yes?"

"What's your quirk?"

She pondered for a moment before a sly smirk slipped onto her face.

"Why don't we find out?"

A few first years looked on in confusion as the second years clapped in anticipation.

"Shouta?"

"Fine, let's get this over with..."

The students watched as the teachers took a sparring position.

He glared as her class representative called for the start.

She solidified the nearest beam of light, scraping it across the ground to make it sharper. He charged, his scarf flying at immense speed.

She cut through it easily, erupting a gasp from a few first years.

"But I thought-"

"It's because even after her light is solidified it still produces the heat and glow it had before."

Aizawa tried to stop her but was blinded momentarily when the light was reflected by her mirror.

He fell to the ground with a thud, as she pounced once more effectively throwing him out of bounds.

"Wow! That was so manly!"

"Hah?! That weak ass teacher shouldn't be able to do that!"

"Bakugou language, and you should not speak of your superiors like that unless you want to be expelled..."

"Shouta! That was really nice, and I seriously can't wait to have you as my student kid! I might have to beat some sense into ya!" She replied to the boys with a wink.

Bakugou flinched hunching over in his aggressive manor.

"Alright! Now that you've had your break back to work!"

TIME SKIP

She sat down on the couch with a sigh. The teacher's lounge was practically empty besides the occasional teacher needing a snack.

She stood up again walking over to the mini fridge to grab a small coffee.

"God, I wish I wasn't an insomniac."

"Me too sometimes."

She jumped as a new voice entered her ears. She turned around smiling when she met eyes with her sleepy colleague.

"Shou! You scared me!" She laughed turning back to the fridge as she rummaged through the shelves. He flopped down on the couch pulling out his sleeping bag and nuzzling into it.

She smiled sipping on the iced coffee.

"If you need sleep so bad you should stop drinking coffee." He stated causing her to ponder for a minute. She opened her mouth to respond, but closed it as she heard the soft snoring coming from his direction.

She quietly made her way to the couch, lifting his head into her lap as she ran a hand through his hair.

"Teaching is hard huh..."

She sat in silence drinking her coffee while silently running her hand through his hair comfortingly.

Her eyes began to droop as she nodded off her head resting on the arm of the couch.

Midnight walked in and froze as she saw the scene before her.

'I so have to get picture of this!' She thought to herself quickly rummaging through her bag to find her phone.

"If you take a picture you are so dead." She tensed as Aizawa's glare stopped her in her spot.

"Fine."

She paused as she contemplated how this happened.

"Did you?...."

"Yes I replaced all of the coffee with decaf."

"Oh my God! Mic is going to pass out!"
