1-a - flowers and secrets

A/n: Hanahaki is a fictional disease originating from unrequited love.

Quirk: Liquid wings: The bearer of this quirk has large wings made of water. They can separate pieces from wings with their mind. Once a piece is separated, it can be formed into any sort of liquid or solidified into the solid form of said liquid.. When user wishes to fly, they can also solidify the entirety of their wings.

Drawback: User gets dehydrated very easily.

This makes a bit of no sense, but I'm still pretty proud of it. You and Bakugou have been friends since childhood.

REALLY LONG

The (h/c) haired girl looked around nervously as everyone took off their uniform jackets to reveal their short sleeved polos underneath.

"l/n san, why aren't you taking off your jacket? It's so hot! You're going to pass out!" Uraraka squealed overly worried for her good friend.

"It's okay, my quirk cools me down!" That was such a lie. She was overheating. She felt like she was one of Bakugou's explosions, or Todoroki's left side, and she was ready to melt away.

A few of her classmates glanced at her cautiously. She had been covering up more and more, even going so far as to wear leggings with her uniform.

Tokayami took a good moment to look at her. She had been avoiding him so much lately and he had no idea why. All of the teachers seemed to distract him whenever he got too close.

Aizawa walked in, taking a quick glance at y/n and beginning the lesson.

Tokayami, watched as y/n scratched her arm through her uniform. He willed himself to look away and pay attention, as she began to look around for the piercing eyes she had felt.

She desperately held back a cough as she wrote down her notes. Her arm was itching more and more and she was beginning to think she needed to leave. she raised her hand, immediately catching her sleepy teachers attention.

"Yes, l/n?" He asked, even though he knew what the question was.

"May I use the restroom?"

"of course." He nodded watching with worry filled eyes as she walked out of the door.

He opened his mouth to continue but was interrupted by multiple students hands raising.

"What?" He asked with a sigh, looking at Iida.

"This may come off as rude and inconsiderate, but truly we are just worried-"

"What the hell do you know that we don't?!" Bakugou finished for the blue haired class rep.

Aizawa was startled that even the temperamental blonde was in on the caring party.

He walked over to the door looking down the hall, he closed it, turning back to the class as he locked it.

"You know I'm breaking protocol to tell you all this right?" He asked as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

Aizawa leaned against the podium, contemplating his consequences.

Everyone leaned forward in anticipation.

"Just spit it out already!" Bakugou demanded.

"Have any of you heard of the Hanahaki disease?" All around there were gasps as Mina and Hagakure burst into tears. Todoroki and Midoriya looked down at their shoes. Bakugou seemed equally surprised as his gang crowded around Mina to comfort her. A few of the quieter people in 1-a were trying to stop the tears.

There was a knock on the door, as everyone turned to see y/n standing outside trying the doorknob.

Everyone rushed back to their seats trying to conceal the tears and shocked faces.

Aizawa unlocked the door letting the oblivious girl in.

TIME SKIP

The girls watched as y/n waited for everyone to leave. Hagakure had offered to stay and see why she covered up.

The invisible girl stood incredibly still as she watched the girl pull off her jacket.

Her jaw dropped as she saw multiple black roses piercing through the skin on her shoulder and thighs.

She slapped a hand over her mouth to stifle a gasp and her tears as the other girl slipped into her gym uniform, pulling on a long sleeve shirt beneath.

She silently followed the E/c eyed girl through the door running over to her friends to cry on Momo's shoulder.

"We just have to discreetly find out who she likes and beat the hell out of them."

TIME SKIP

The girls had managed to drag L/n into a small sleepover type thing. The rest of the 1-a girls gathered in Momo's room, waiting for Mina and L/n to return.

They watched as Mina yanked the poor girl through the door and shoving her to the floor in a circle with the other girls.

"Alright, it's time for~, drumroll please." Mina was met with only Hagakure and Uraraka's sound effects.

"Whatever, Truth or Dare!" Mina finished causing the (e/c) eyed girl to pale.

"Do I have to-" She began only to be cut off by Mina's harsh 'yes'.

The girls bounced back and forth with each other, waiting for the perfect moment to seize the chance.

"So~ L/n san~" Said girl flinched as Mina leaned closer.

"Truth or dare?" The pink girl asked with a wink.

Now, L/n was certainly not stupid, in anyway. She had seen the harsh dares she had given, such as offer a fight to Bakugou, or drink an entire jar of salsa. So she wisely(?) picked truth.

"Who do you have a crush on?~" Everyone leaned closer, anticipating the girl's response.

L/n's face burst with a deep crimson, nearly rivaling that of a certain Spiky red head's hair.

"W-Well, I, uh, d-do I have to tell you?" She asked trying to avoid the question.

"Yes." The rest of the girls responded in unison.

"Uh, I g-guess I think a lot of guys are cute?" She tried to avoid it again, but her words came out as more of a question.

"That's not good enough! Like, out of our class who would you date? Please tell us L/n san!"

"You guys would be disappointed if I told you..." Said girl whispered. Everyone in the room began to plead, causing Y/n to scratch her shoulder.

She could feel the flowers threatening their escape.

She excused herself, stumbling to her dorm. She trudged her way into the bathroom, taking off her sweater to reveal her bloody bandaged arms and sports bra beneath. *if you don't like those change it*

She took of the bandages revealing at least twelve roses growing in various places on her arms.

She gently pulled the rose on her shoulder, hissing when pain shot through her nervous system.

She sighed, grabbing a new wrap of bandages, and wrapping her arms once more.

Her thoughts wandered, eventually making their way back to a certain beaked classmate.

She coughed into her hand, small blood covered rose petals falling into her hand.

She bit her lip, throwing them into the trash can. She looked up into the mirror, now noticing the rather tall spiky blonde male leaning in the doorway.

She yelped trying to cover up. Her body turned to him as he rolled his eyes.

"Would you chill already. We both know I'm gay." He hissed. She paused her hands dropping to her sides.

She wondered what he was doing here and how much he had seen.

"What did you see?" She whispered. He ran a hand through his hair, reaching into her cabinet to pull out a medical kit.

"All of it." She bit her lip again.

"Even though I already knew." He finalized. Her eyes snapped to him, as he unclamped the small box taking out multiple tools he would need. She sat down on the counter. Watching him with wide eyes.

"How did you-"

"That's for me to know, and you to never find out. God, you need to stop just using bandages, it ain't doin shit to help you." He cut her off, taking off her bandages to clean up the skin and groom the flowers.

"Bakugou why do you care? I'm going to die from it anyway." His red eyes shot up to meet hers as he dropped the scissors he was using.

"Your WHAT!?" He yelled. She clamped a hand over his mouth, listening for anyone's footsteps.

"Shut it Bakugou, you'll catch the attention of the others, and you know how the others will react seeing me half naked, alone, with you in my bathroom." She hissed back, removing her hand.

"No, you are not going to leave me with a fucking 'I'm going to die anyway'!?" He exclaimed, a slight bit quieter than before. She looked down at her dangling feet, staying silent.

"Can you please, at least tell me who it is?" Bakugou whispered his voice soothing and gentle for once.

She looked back up at him taking a deep breath.

"It's (Insert crush here)..." She responded her voice low with secrecy. He nodded slowly. finishing up with her bandages and putting away the medical box.

She hopped down from the counter slipping into her large sweater once again. He looked at her with sympathy filled eyes, giving her a hug and walking out of her dorm.

She crawled onto her bed, the sleepover long forgotten. She curled into her sheets the tears beginning to freely flow, as the realization of what she had said hit her.

She gripped her pillow tightly to her chest, burying her face in it to muffle her sobs.

She was going to die like this.

And she wasn't ready

TIME SKIP

Everyone watched in terror as Bakugou sat down in his desk. He had eyebags clearly visible beneath his eyes and was being unusually quiet. He hadn't even responded to Midoriya when he asked what was wrong. Aizawa took notice pulling Bakugou outside as he gave the students a free day.

"Bakugou what happened?" Aizawa asked, he was already worried that L/n wasn't in class, now Bakugou looks like Shinsou?

"I talked with L/n last night." Aizawa's eyes widened as his jaw almost dropped as Bakugou used a real name. This was more terrifying than any fight the middle aged pro had encountered.

"A-And?"

"Did you know?"

"Do I know what?"

"She told me. She was going to die eventually."

Aizawa's heart snapped in two, as tears welled in the blonde's eyes. L/n held the class together. She was a bright light to everyone, including Bakugou and the teachers.

"W-what?" The pro asked, disbelief taking over.

"She didn't even seem fazed. She just stood there."

Aizawa but back inside the classroom grabbing his goggles and running all the way back to the dorms.

He was not letting any student die on his watch. He kicked open the door of the dorms opting to use the stairs instead of the elevator.

He ran down the hall stopping in front of your door. He knocked making sure to have some human decency.

He heard a weak 'come in' as he slammed open the door, causing the girl to squint at both the newfound light and the sudden movement.

"Why the hell didn't you tell us?!" The teacher demanded. She looked up, understanding what he meant.

"I figured it would be best to just let it happen since there's nothing they can do about it." She whispered.

A few students stopped in front of the door panting. Bakugou was in the lead.

"L/n you still need to tell us!"

"Aizawa what's going on?!" All might asked worriedly. He looked in the room noticing who's it was.

"Oh no." He slipped through the students making his way to sit next to her.

All of the teachers knew of her troubles. They had offered help many times, and she had always declined, claiming she was fine.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to cause a scene." She whispered hugging her pillow closer. A few students gave curious glances at Bakugou, who seemed to know what was going on.

Bakugou took a step forward earning even more curiosity from his classmates.

"L/n. If you don't tell them, I will." He murmured sitting on the opposite side of All might.

She nodded. Motioning for him to explain. Bakugou turned to his classmates a sad look in his eyes.

"Dipshits, if you don't fucking listen I'm going to kill you."

"Bakugou." She hissed, causing him to return to the point.

"L/n's disease is worse than we thought." He took a moment to glance at his sleepy home room teacher.

"She may die." He finished with a whisper.

Many of her classmates burst in to tears.

Mina clung to Tsu, as Momo and Jiro looked away.

Todoroki took a step away, as Midoriya rubbed Uraraka's back.

They all made a silent agreement that day

No one would ever have more fun, than this girl in her last few moments.
