Todoroki kept his guard up as he and Y/n ran through the rubble of a building, looking for survivors and other heroes, Y/n pushed Todoroki out of the way as a beam of light shot between them.

"What the hell-" Y/n hissed to herself as a small group of villains emerged.

The LOV, with a brand new member.

Great.

"Todoroki, I want you to freeze them in 3....2.....1-" They were cut off by another beam of light hitting Todoroki from the rooftops.

Y/n quickly knelt by his side putting up a large barrier as Todoroki slowly woke up.

"Todoroki?" Y/n asked as he slowly turned to look at her.

Shigaraki's maniacal laugh sounded from outside the barrier.

"Kill her." The man hissed, Y/n's head snapped back to look at Todoroki as his eyes turned green.

"Oh god." She whimpered.

Todoroki charged at her, raising his fire side hand as she created another shield to block him.

She tried to create an opening in the shield, slipping through as Todoroki broke the first layer of the forcefield.

A wound formed on Y/n's arm, causing her to wince as she tried to fumble with her radio.

"I need back up, Shouto has been hit with a mind control quirk, the league of villains are here, I need ground zero and red riot, fast please-" Y/n was cut off as Todoroki broke the second layer of the shield as a wound appeared on Y/n's leg.

"Dammit, now I can't run." Y/n hissed, as Todoroki slowly walked towards her.

She let a single tear down her cheek as her radio went off.

"We're sending back up take cover and get out of there-" Bakugou's voice yelled as she created a large forcefield around Todoroki capturing the two of them alone.

"I'm not going to fight you to the death Todoroki." She yelled to him.

His eyes flashed back to blue and grey.

"Please, we've been through everything together. Don't do this to me." Y/n begged letting down her guard.

"If you want to kill me you can. But I'm not fighting back." She spoke again.

"Just shut up!" Todoroki hissed, freezing her legs as he ran towards her again.

He punched her, watching as she reached up to feel her bloody nose.

"I'm still not fighting you Shouto."

"Be quiet!" Todoroki hissed again, punching her in the stomach as his ice melted.

He lifted his fire side's hand, pointing it at her.

"Before you kill me, I want to say one last thing."

"What?!"

"I love you." She whispered watching as his fire side lit up, the fire shooting towards her as his eyes turned back to blue and grey.

He snapped out of it, putting out the fire as he fell down beside her, lifting her head into his lap.

"no...." He cried to himself. letting his tears fall as he begged for her to wake up.

Bakugou came into view, frantically looking around as he looked for them.

He spotted Todoroki pushing him away from Y/n as he did CPR.

"It's not fucking working! KIRISHIMA GET AIZAWA TO CALL THE AMBULANCE!" Bakugou screamed, continuing to push on Y/n's chest as Todoroki silently cried.

"Oi! Half and Half! What the hell happened..." Bakugou hissed, turning around to look at the other UA student, freezing as he saw the tears.

"what the-" Kirishima rounded the corner running towards the group, Aizawa running past the boy as he picked up his female student and started running.

Bakugou picked up his radio.

"She's heavily bleeding has third degree burns all over her body and is not breathing." He spoke with a straight face. Bakugou stood up, scanning the area for the LOV

"The league got away.... again."

Bakugou turned to Todoroki making eye contact.

"I'm not looking." He whispered.

Todoroki started sobbing, his heart aching in his chest.

"Shouto." Bakugou spoke, turning towards the boy.

"She would do it again if she had to."
