Bakugou - Drivers License

GO LISTEN TO DRIVERS LICENCE BY OLIVIA RODRIGO, IT'S FOR THE BASIC PLOT OF THE STORY :)

IDOL AU* (BASICALLY SINGING AU OR MUSIC AU)

"What is up everyone! My name is Y/n L/n and I'm the lead singer of "The choices"! Here we have main guitarist, Jirou! Pianist Momo, Backup singers Mina and Hagakure, our drummer Tsuyu, and our bassist Ochaco!"

"Let's get this party started shall we?" Y/n finished, smiling at the large crowd in front of her.

She gave Momo the signal, listening as Momo began to play keys, along to the tune of the song Y/n had written for this special occasion.

She knew Bakugou was performing after her that night, and she honestly wanted to make him regret everything.

"I got my driver's license last week

Just like we always talked about

'Cause you were so excited for me

To finally drive up to your house

But today I drove through the suburbs

Crying 'cause you weren't around"

Y/n glanced at Bakugou's small group of friends in the back row her grip on the microphone tightening.

"And you're probably with that blonde girl

Who always made me doubt

She's so much older than me

She's everything I'm insecure about

Yeah, today I drove through the suburbs

'Cause how could I ever love someone else?"

Y/n smiled at the crowd as they swayed to the music, singing quietly with her.

"And I know we weren't perfect, but I've never felt this way for no one

And I just can't imagine how you could be so okay now that I'm gone

Guess you didn't mean what you wrote in that song about me"

Cause you said forever, now I drive alone past your street"

Bakugou froze as he remember the song he had written, specifically for her.

"And all my friends are tired

Of hearing how much I miss you, but

I kinda feel sorry for them

'Cause they'll never know you the way that I do

Yeah, today I drove through the suburbs

And pictured I was driving home to you

And I know we weren't perfect, but I've never felt this way for no one, oh

And I just can't imagine how you could be so okay now that I'm gone

I guess you didn't mean what you wrote in that song about me

'Cause you said forever, now I drive alone past your street"

Bakugou and Y/n made eye contact, the tears in his eyes showing as he stared at her with wide eyes.

"Red lights, stop signs

I still see your face in the white cars, front yards

Can't drive past the places we used to go to

'Cause I still fucking love you, babe"

Mina and Hagakure's voices jumped into the song as Bakugou tried to weave his way through the crowd to the very front.

"Sidewalks we crossed

I still hear your voice in the traffic

We're laughing over all the noise

God, I'm so blue, know we're through

But I still fucking love you, babe

I know we weren't perfect, but I've never felt this way for no one

And I just can't imagine how you could be so okay now that I'm gone

'Cause you didn't mean what you wrote in that song about me

'Cause you said forever, now I drive alone past your street

Yeah, you said forever, now I drive alone past your street"

Bakugou's manager cut him off from reaching the stage, glaring at him.

"What did I say about being interested in her."

"But-"

"No! She's not good enough for publicity."

"FUCK PUBLICITY!" Bakugou yelled at his manager.

"All you've ever done is control me! My songs, my lyrics, my relationships! All for the damn publicity! Move."

"I'm not moving-"

"Move." Bakugou threatened, his fist lifting to aim at the manager's face.

The manager froze.

"You wouldn't-"

"I will if you don't fucking move."

The manager stepped to the side, watching in shock as Bakugou scrambled to the stage, nearly tripping as he ran up the steps.

All of the band members turned to see Bakugou as he ran straight for Y/n, pulling her into a bone crushing hug.

She stiffened before her arms wrapped around his torso, burying her face into his shoulder.

"I meant every damn word in that song." Bakugou whispered, pulling away to cup her face.

She laughed, forcing herself to stop crying so the paparazzi wouldn't take pictures.

The crowd cheered, going absolutely ballistic as the two main singers of their favorite bands leaned in.

As Bakugou and Y/n kissed, a single voice could be heard from Bakugou's manager.

"Dammit kid."

"What did you say?" Y/n's manager hissed from behind the other manager.

"I said 'Dammit kid' I'm probably going to drop him from my company, he never listened well anyways."

"Fine, I'll be real damn happy to have him on my team. Him and the rest of his friends too."
