5...Bakugou - pardon?

ANGST

(Let's pretend in japan you take the man's last name and not the woman's)

"You will marry a royal whether you agree or not!"

"But Father-"

"NO! You will marry prince Todoroki!" The man with increasingly greying hair yelled at his daughter, his voice raising in volume each time she tried to deny his plan.

"But I don't love him!"

"I don't care!"

Y/n's hand flew to her mouth, a shocked sob falling from her mouth.

She turned and ran out the front doors of the castle, her legs not stopping till she reached the river nearly a mile away.

She crashed to the ground, panting. Sticks, weeds, and dirt clung to the edge of her dress, her tears melding with the large stream of water she leaned over.

"Oi! You're in my damn territory- Oh, it's you, wait, the fuck, why are you crying?"

Y/n only sobbed in response, choking on her own tears.

"uh, shit, I uh, don't usually help with this, uhm, are you- uh, are you okay dipshit?"

Y/n tried to speak again, her chest heaving too quickly for the words to become real.

"M-My father" She was cut off by her own sob.

"Is forcing m-me to marry p-prince Todoroki." Y/n hesitantly lifted her head to make eye contact with Bakugou, his brows furrowed, expression clearly showing how angry he was.

Bakugou sat and brainstormed with Y/n for a moment, trying to figure out how to free her from the bondage of her parent's decisions.

"You still owe me that favor, right? The one from when I pulled you out of the river when you fell in?"

"Yeah, so what dipshit?"

"I want your tribe to kidnap me."

Bakugou froze.

"Pardon?" If anything that was the most proper sentence Y/n had ever heard Bakugou say.

"I want your tribe to kidnap me! You get me away from the castle I hide out in the forest somewhere and I'll be out of your hair in no time!"

"That's a dumbass idea."

"You've got a better one?"

~*~*~*~*~

Bakugou sighed heavily as he stared up at the second story of the large tower in front of him, he stepped over to the large red dragon to his left, hopping on the large beast's back, grumbling to himself about his stupidity.

He reached into the satchel at his hip, pulling out a small twig and chucking it at the window of the tower, watching as the curtains opened and a very tired, but ready, Y/n stepped out.

"Do you have everything dumbass?"

"Yes, and stop calling me that, I'm royalty remember?"

"Not after today."

"Fair enough." Y/n took a few steps back into her room, planting her dominant foot in the wood and sprinting towards the window. As her foot landed on the window sill, she pushed, landing in the awaiting arms of a very agitated Bakugou.

"Let's get outta here."

~*~*~*~*~

Y/n smiled as she entered the tribe village, staring at the nomad's tents. Bakugou's tribe was a large group of people that migrated throughout the same area in random patterns, that of which a game of darts decided.

A few village people waved, having seen Y/n during a few of her previous visits.

She walked with Bakugou towards the largest tent in the middle of the village, greeting Mitsuki and Masaru with a hug.

"Oh dear! We're so glad we could get you away from that awful castle you were stuck in!" Mitsuki cheered, squeezing Y/n's cheeks with her hands as the girl chuckled, turning to the youngest Bakugou for help.

"Oi, old hag, leave her alone."

"Awe! You're protecting your girlfriend! How cute!"

"It's not-"

"Oh hush you two, I know a relationship when I see one."

~*~*~*~*~

"I guess it's time for me to leave..." Y/n whispered as she stood at the edge of the forest, staring into the pleading red eyes of Katsuki Bakugou.

"Yeah, I guess it is dipshit."

"Well, then, this is uh, this is goodbye." Y/n sniffed, using a hand to cover her eyes as she dipped her head to stare at the ground instead.

What she didn't expect was Bakugou to lean in a kiss her forehead, sighing as he walked away.

"Feel free to come back anytime weirdo."

Y/n stared at the back of the boy as he retreated, her eyes wide, her legs started moving on their own, similarly to when she was first told she was to marry the Todoroki prince.

Bakugou turned as he heard her pounding feet, gasping as she crashed into him tackling him to the forest floor in a bear hug.

She lifted her head, leaning in a second time (this made me cringe) to kiss his lips, instead of the other way around.

Bakugou's arms automatically wrapped around her waist, sitting up to get a better angle. (*gagging*)

"I don't want you to leave." Bakugou grumbled as they pulled away, resting their foreheads together.

"I don't want to leave." Y/n chuckled back, hugging him close again.

~*~*four years later*~*~

Bakugou sat up groggily as someone rapidly shook him.

"Bakubro! Wake up! It's your wedding day!"

"Go the fuck away Kirishima my wedding day is tom... today, TODAY, HOLY SHIT I GET MARRIED TODAY!" Bakugou trailed off as his brain fumbled, screaming at his friend his grip on his blankets tightening as he shot up from his bed, running to his mother's tent to see her.

"Ah! Katsuki there you are! I sent Kirishima to tell you to wake up, wouldn't want to miss this would you?" Masaru teased his son as he handed the blonde his traditional clothing, pushing him behind a large screen to change.

"Wouldn't fucking miss it to kill Deku."

"Now that's a stretch."

"shut it shitty hair."

Meanwhile, Y/n was sat in her own tent, Mitsuki and Inko (another woman who had migrated from another tribe) did her hair and helped her with her clothes.

"Do you think he'll bail?!" Y/n asked in a panic, her hands trembling as she gripped the side of the chair she was sitting in.

"No dear, he loves you quite a bit."

"I know! But... I can't help but think..."

"Dear, he would rather jump off a cliff than hurt you."

"I guess..."

"Seriously, if you don't stop second guessing yourself I'm going to have him come in here and-"

"Mitsuki! Don't you dare! You know he wouldn't hesitate to-"

"Can both of you not suggest that?"

"Yes sorry dear."

Bakugou flinched as the loud sound of the elders chanting filled his ears, Y/n's head shot up to stare out the open flap of the tent, her heart rate increasing rapidly.

She stood up slowly, her head spinning, she watched nervously as Inko glanced out the tent, squealing as she saw the large gathering of people elders and Katsuki standing in the middle of it all.

Inko ran over to Y/n's shaky figure, gently tugging her towards the tent flap.

As Y/n was pushed out she made eye contact with her blonde haired fiancé, her worries fading as she smoothed out her dress, gracefully walking towards him, their eye contact never breaking.

The young Bakugou's- (Or should It be katsuki because soon there would be another Bakugou in the party) eyes were wide as he stared at the woman approaching him steadily. She finally made it to the front of the crowd, smiling happily at her soon-to-be-husband as he gently took both of her hands in his.

As the preacher started to speak and uneasy feeling washed over the crowd as rustling in the trees alerted them.

"Hide the chief and his family!" The elders shouted, Katsuki wasted no time bending down and scooping Y/n into his arms as Kirishima went up in a puff of smoke, a dragon soon appearing.

"Get the princess!" A intruder called from the trees as the dragon took to the skies, the four people on it's back staring in horror as the people they loved oh so dearly were fought and captured.

Kirishima was caught mid -air as a chain wrapped around his leg.

"Give us the princess and we let the others go!"

Y/n froze. slowly turning her head to see Katsuki's fear and anger filled gaze down at the forest floor.

Kirishima was continuously dragged closer to the ground.

"Kirishima, set me on the ground." Y/n demanded, prying herself from Katsuki's arms as he tried to stop her, desperately failing.

Y/n's feet hit the ground with a thud, standing straight to see her father and Endeavor scowling at the villagers and elders around them.

"It was my choice to come here. I am no longer under the age of eighteen, I have the rights to leave the kingdom."

"YOU ARE ENGAGED TO PRINCE TODOROKI!"

"I AM MARRIED TO THE BARBARIAN CHEIF!" Y/n screamed back, pointing at Katsuki who had followed her to the ground, standing a few feet behind her, desperation clear on his face.

"W-What?" Y/n's father stuttered, staring at her animal hide gown and traditional dragon tooth jewelry.

"Daughter you can't possibly be-"

"I am not your daughter. You enter our lands uninvited, interrupt my wedding, and threaten my people?! I am the Barbarian chief's right hand, and you will treat me with such honor. Let. my. people. go." Endeavor scoffed at Y/n's words, reaching out to grab her arm before he was roughly cut off by his own son.

"I do not wish to marry a woman who is already married. Let their people go and I will consider marrying the Yaoyrozu princess."

Y/n watched with pure anger as both armies from the Todoroki and L/n kingdom retreated, their tails between their legs.

The youngest Todoroki glanced back at his troops before running over to Y/n and Katsuki.

"As soon as I am king, your kingdom and mine should try being Allies, it might be better than whatever my father has planned."

~*~*~*~*~

The elder cleared his throat.

"As I was saying..." Y/n and Katsuki stared happily at each other, listening intently as the traditional words of marriage were said by the priest.

"あなたは今、花嫁にキスをすることができます, or in western terms, You may now kiss the bride."

The newly married couple both leaned in sharing a loving kiss (*literal barfing*) as the rest of the village cheered.
