Maia's POV:

After capturing and taking Samus' and My armor and weapons, the Koopalings took us to a cell room. There were six cells altogether and only two were occupied. One held Pit and the other held Mr. Game & Watch. Nathan was put in the middle cell across from Game & Watch. I was placed to the left of him across from Pit. And Samus was placed next to Game & Watch. We waited for the guards to leave before talking.

Samus: "Well, if your plan was to release Master Head then Great job!"

Me: "Samus, now is not the time for that."

Samus: "There may not be another time to say it."

Pit: "Uh, can someone fill us in on what's going on?"

Samus: "This moron turned himself in."

Me: "Samus..."

Samus: "It's true.

Pit: "Wait, He turned himself in?"

Samus: "Yeah, just to save his friend."

Me: "Samus!" The room became quiet. The only noise that could be heard was from Nathan's cell. He was crying. I sat down against the wall that kept us apart. "Nathan," I tried to be polite, "Why did you do it?"

Nathan: "You had a brother, correct?"

Me: "Yes."

Nathan: "Would he do the same thing for you if you were in trouble?"

Me: The question shocked me a bit but I answered. "He actually did once. It was before we came to this universe actually. We were at the park one day. I was playing with a new toy I got for my birthday while he watched me from a nearby bench. Some other kids came and took my toy. I told them to give it back but they just kicked dirt in my face and told me to 'get lost'. I started crying and they made even more fun of me. Then Alex came to my aid. He hugged me and the other kids started laughing at him too. He then stood up, looked at the kids, and told them 'Do whatever you want to me, just don't hurt my sister.' One of them punched him in the face giving him a black eye. He fell to the ground and the kids took off laughing. I went to see if Alex was ok. I was surprised to see my toy in his hands. He handed it to me and I hugged him. Then he said..."

I stopped talking. Maybe it was because of what he said. I heard him say it to me in my head. 'I will always be here to protect you. That's a promise.' I was about to cry when all of a sudden Bowser Jr. walked in with two Hamer Bros at his sides. He walked to Nathan's cell and opened it.

Nathan's POV:

Jr.: "You're needed in the control room."

Without him or his minions having to do anything I stood up and followed them out of the cell room.

Maia: "Nathan..."

I looked at her. I saw a tear flow down her cheek. 'Don't worry,' I said in my mind to her, 'It will be all right.' I exited the room with Jr. and the Koopas only to find three more hammer bros waiting. Bowser Jr. led the way with two of the Koopas at his sides and the other three around my back to make sure I didn't try to escape. We soon entered the control room where a bunch of Koopas and Goombas were controlling the ship. There was a big window. I could see the sun was going down and we were heading into some dark clouds. Bowser Jr. pressed a button on a control panel and a screen came down. Bowser's face showed on it. I put my head down.

Jr.: "Good news, dad, We caught him."

Bowser: "And the stone?"

Jr.: He lifted my hand to show him my wrist. "It's right here."

Bowser: "Good. Make sure you get here quickly so we can free Master Head A.S.A.P."

Jr.: "Don't worry. You can count on me." He pushed the button again and the screen went back up. "Now, let's get you back to your cage."

But before anyone could do anything else the door opened and Pit shot an arrow of light at Jr. Causing him to almost fall over and putting a hole in the giant window. Game & Watch, Samus, and Maia then entered.

Maia: "Nathan, are you ok?"

I nodded.

Jr.: "What's going on here? How did you escape?"

Samus: "Did you forget? Mr. Game here is two dimensional. He had no trouble squeezing through the bars."

Jr.: He growled. "Minions, get them!" All of Bowser Jr's minions charged at them. Samus, Pit, and Game & Watch fought back. Maia came towards me. "Oh no you don't." Bowser Jr. Grabbed me and leapt through the hole in the window. Maia followed us. She soon grabbed my other hand.

Maia: "Let him go!"

Jr.: "Never!"

Just then, the whole ship shook. It shook so violently that none of us could keep our balance. We all fell to the ground.

Jr. & Maia: "What was that?"

I looked behind the ship and saw the halberd with its long claw hand attached to the ship. Some figures were walking on it over to us. I squinted my eyes to get a better look. I saw Jet, IV, Lucario, Roy, and Jacob holding Eve. I felt so relieved to see they were alright. I put my hands on my heart. But when I did I didn't feel my bracelet. I checked my wrist and then looked on the ground. I saw it next to Bowser Jr. He saw it too. I quickly tried to grab it but Jr. was too fast. He quickly grabbed it and made three great Jumped to the very front of the ship. He then pressed a button that made a bunch of Bullet Bill launchers and Hammer Bros appear.

Jr.: "Ha ha ha ha! If you want it then come and get it!"

Jacob and the others soon came to where we were. It then started to rain with thunder being heard in the background.

Jacob: He but Eve down. "Are you guys ok?"

Me: "Yeah, but Bowser Jr. has my bracelet."

Maia: "If we don't get it back then Master Head will be free."

Roy: "But how are we gonna do that? There are enemies everywhere."

We all looked at the blockade of minions waiting for one of us to try and get to Bowser Jr.. After studying it I realized that it looked just like a 3D Mario World stage. All we had to do was pretend like it was the game and we would be fine.

Maia's POV:

Nathan: "There's only one way we're gonna clear this. And that's if we play the game."

Me: "What are you saying?"

Nathan: "I'm saying we have to do this."

He jumped down to where the enemies were.

Me: "Nathan, what are you doing?"

Nathan: "After dodging some Bullet Bills he looked at me and said, "I'm playing the game."

I had no Idea what he was saying or doing. Eve seemed to know what he was doing for she jumped down and went to him. Nathan then told Eve to take care of some Hammer Bros. She bit one and he dropped his hammer. Nathan then picked it up and threw it at a Bill launcher, causing it to crack and explode. I was surprised at how good he was doing it was almost like he had done this thing before.

Jacob: "Well, If Nathan's going then I'm going. Come on, Lucario."

Jacob and Lucario both started to follow Nathan and Eve. I looked at Roy and the other Pokemon.

Roy: "Don't look at me. I just came to finish a fight with the fake Roy."

I rolled my eyes and went to catch up with Jacob and Lucario.

Nathan's POV:

After getting past all the Bullet Bills and Hammer Bros Eve and Me soon found ourselves at the front of the ship. Bowser Jr. was holding my bracelet waiting for us. I looked at him and he looked at me. I could hear Eve growling. A loud crash of Thunder rolled through the dark sky Causing a bunch of rain to start pouring from it.

Jr.: "Well, I must say, I'm really impressed. But just because you were able to pass my little blockade doesn't mean you can defeat me."

Nathan: "You call that a blockade? It was more like a playground."

Jr.: "Go on and laugh all you want. It won't get you any closer to taking this back." He held my bracelet higher.

Me: "Your sounding tough for a pipsqueak."

Jr.: "What did you just call me?"

Me: "You heard me. I can easily defeat you just by jumping on your head three times."

Jr.: "Stop trying to downgrade me! If I wanted to I could end your fun right now!"

Me: "But the games just getting started. Alright, Eve, Charge at him and get the bracelet back!"

Eve did as I said. As she charged forward, Bowser Jr. pulled a Mega mushroom out of his shell, I think. He then ate it in one bite. I knew this couldn't be good. Eve Jumped to get my bracelet but Bowser Jr's arm grew and he hit her, causing Eve to slide along the wet, slippery, wooden floor until stopping just a little ways in front of me. I went over to see if she was alright.

Me: "Are you ok?"

Eve: "Eevee."

Bowser Jr. Grew to what looked like about 10 times his size. He let out an evil laugh and slowly started walking towards me. I knew there was no way I could beat him like that so I quickly grabbed Eve and went to where we came. Jacob, Maia, and Lucario were already there.

Jr.: "Oh no you don't!"

Jr. Blasted some fire blocking our only way out. I looked at him to see if he had any weak points, that was the only way I was going to beat him. I then noticed that whenever he stepped He made a small crack in the wood. That was his week point. I tossed Eve over the fire and Jacob caught her.

Maia: "Nathan, What are you doing?"

Me: "Don't worry. I have a plan."

Jacob: "Watch out."

I turned around just in time to see Jr's foot above me. I quickly jumped out of the way. He then continued to try and stomp me wherever I went.

Jacob's POV:

I watched as Nathan dodged every single one of Jr's stomps. It looked like he was playing the actual thing. Even thow every part of me wanted to help him, something told me he could do this on his own.

Maia: "This is crazy. He's going to get himself killed. I'm going in after him." I grabbed her wrist and she looked at me, shocked. "Jacob..."

Me: "Don't worry, he's got this. If there's one thing Nathan's good at, it's games."

Nathan's POV:

After a while of dodging, I could tell Bowser Jr. was getting upset and tired. He grabbed his knees and tried to catch his breath. I then looked at the floor to see where he had done the most damage. I found a good spot near Jacob and the others. I slowly started to walk over to it.

Me: "Are you tired already? Man, being a villain must be har work. Good thing I don't want to be one when I grow up. But, if you are tired we could call it quits and say I won. You look like you've lost anyways."

Jr.: He looked at me with pure rage in his eyes. "I never loose." He stood up. "I'm the son of the great King; Bowser! I never loose!" He then Jumped up and ground pounded straight towards me.

Jacob & Maia: "Nathan!"

A small grin came on my face. I quickly dodged out of the way just as Jr. landed on the floor causing the ship to rumble a little. The floor then cracked open beneath him revealing a great fall. He tried to avoid it but he couldn't. He dropped my bracelet and fell through the hole. Jr's fire also disappeared and Eve then jumped forward and caught my bracelet before it went through the hole. She landed safely on the other side but some wood cracked underneath her. The floor was wet so it was hard for her to hold on. I quickly rushed to her and picked her up. As I did some more wood cracked underneath me too. I tried to grab onto something to stop me from falling but it was too slippery. I quickly tossed Eve up with my bracelet still in her mouth. Thankfully, Jacob caught her. I, on the other hand, was doomed.

I watched as I fell further from the ship, Jacob and Maia both reaching out hands. I then looked down towards the ground and saw it getting closer or closer. I couldn't tell If I was crying or not because rain was on my face but I'm pretty sure I was crying. I started to remember How Jacob and I started this crazy adventure. I remembered finding Eve on the nature trail. I remembered Jacob getting kidnapped. I remembered seeing all of my favorite Nintendo characters when I first entered the Smash Bros Universe. I remembered Smash City, Holly Jolly Village, the Callos Region, everywhere I went I remembered. I then closed my eyes, fell asleep, and waited for the worse to happen.
