Nathan's POV:

While I was brushing my teeth I heard a knock on my door. I spat out the toothpaste and went to see who it was. I looked through the crystal eye and saw Midna on the other side. I opened the door.

Midna: "Good you're up." She came in without me even saying anything. She went over to Eve who was stretching. She put a hand on Eve's head. "You still have your bracelet?"

Me: "Of course." I raised my hand to show her I had it on.

Midna: "Good. Maia wants us to protect it at all cost."

Me: "Why? What's so special about it?"

Midna: "I don't know, Maia didn't tell me."

Me: I went back in the bathroom to finish getting ready for the day. "Where's Maia? Is she still in your room?" I picked up a comb and started combing my hair.

Midna: "No, she's waiting for us at the arena."

Me: "The arena? Why there?"

Midna: "She wants to make sure you're 'ready'."

Me: I put the comb down and ruffled my hair with my fingers. "Ready for what?"

Midna: "I don't know, Why do you keep asking me so many questions?"

Me: I walked out of the bathroom. Midna was laying on the bed. "I'm sorry, I'm just curious."

Midna: "Well you can ask all the questions you want when we meet Maia in the arena." She got up and headed towards the door. "Come on, and bring your Eevee with you."

Me: "Her name is Eve."

Midna: She turned around. "What?"

Me: "Her name is Eve. I decided she needed a name so I named her Eve." I picked up Eve and she climbed onto my shoulder.

Eve: "Eve."

Midna: She rolled her eyes. "Whatever, let's just get to the arena." She headed for the door.

Me: "What about breakfast?"

Midna: "Who eats breakfast anymore?"

Me: "I do."

Midna: She put her head down and sighed. "Just don't be late. She wants you there at ten sharp." She exited the room.

Before I went out I picked up the scrapbook that Maia gave me. I flipped to the last page and looked at the picture. It was a small picture and yet it said so much. I had questions about it. Questions that I knew only Maia could answer. I took the picture out and put it in my pocket. I looked at my phone to see what time it was. It was only 8:49 so I had plenty of time before I got to the arena. I went out the door with Eve still on my shoulder. I shut the door and went downstairs to have some breakfast.
