Not As Planned

Sonny's last two days in LA were incredibly uneventful. He spent almost all of his time at the studio trying to find some inspiration for songs. He was doing a small US tour before Vegas which gave me plenty of time to get fully moved in. I didn't really have much work to do since Mason had done so much this past week.

The night before I was leaving for Vegas, Mason and Luke came over for dinner. We caught up and had a good time. Afterwards we sat in the living room and all had a beer. I pulled my laptop open to play some music.

"You need a TV in here." Mason commented as he lounged back in the chair we was sitting in.

"I know! I said I was going to do that this week but I've been so preoccupied with moving." I sighed.

"How's the DJ?" Luke asked and I shrugged.

"Same ole." I replied and he gave me some annoyed look.

"Last I heard, he was texting other bitches." He said to me and I glared and Mason.

"What? Of course I'm going to tell him!"

"He wasn't. We already talked about it." I told both of them with a glare. Why was this still being brought up?

"How's Cara doing?" Mason asked, quickly changing the subject.

"She's still like distraught. But they still talk so she kind of brings it upon herself!" I said. "I don't know. I don't get it. He's an asshole." I mumbled to myself.

"He's still engaged?" Luke asked.

"Yeah. Another thing I don't get." I frowned.

"To Kat Von D. She's just as psycho as he is so how fitting." Mason giggled and I smirked.

"Show me a picture of her again. I keep forgetting what she looks like." Luke asked.

"How could you forget that?" Mason asked with a snort.

I opened up a new tab on the internet and googled her name. A row of pictures of her popped up followed by every article that mentions her. The very first one read "Kat Von D and DJ Deadmau5 OVER!" It took my mind a few seconds to process what I just read before I let out a loud scream. I covered my mouth and stared wide eyed at my computer.

"What!?" Mason jumped up and plopped down next to me. "OH MY GOD!" He shouted and started laughing. "I'm clicking on this!"

"What? What is happening?" Luke asked and came over and sat on the other side of me while the page loaded. "Oh!" He said and then fell back laughing. "Well that lasted." He kept laughing.

"Oh my god." I mumbled and grabbed my phone that was next to my computer on the table. I dialed Sonny but I knew he wasn't going to answer since it was late. "Call me." Was all I said to his voice mail before hanging up. "I should call Cara." I said but I didn't want to be the one to tell her. Maybe I'll just let her figure it out on her own.

We all read the article about how it was a nasty break up. She tweeted a bunch of nasty things too about him cheating and she threatened to show screenshots of the conversation. Then the very last tweet from her was "Apparently being a hussy runs in the family. What trash."

"Oh fuck no." I stood up and glared at my computer. "That's bullshit!" I shouted and grabbed for my phone. I opened up twitter prepared to tweet some nasty words but every time I typed something I would just delete it. I couldn't help but think of Sonny and his image. I knew he didn't like drawing attention to himself personally and I knew starting a feud with Kat would somehow come back to him.

"Sticks and stones, my friend." I typed and hit send. "Well...she'll get the idea." I mumbled and sat back down. "She's psycho." I glared at my computer.

The rest of the night was spent refreshing the google search reading new articles that popped up. A lot of shit talking about Kat went down too which made me feel better about her stupid tweet. "Come with me tomorrow." I told both of them.

"I have work." Luke said and I shrugged him off.

"Call in." I demanded and he raised an eyebrow. "Come on. It's a free trip to Vegas. What's not to like? I can get you a room and everything." I told them. They both shared a glance with each other and shrugged.

"I guess." Luke mumbled and I squeeled.

"This will be fun!" I clapped and smiled. I woke up at about four from my phone ringing. I groggilly reached over and saw Sonny's name lighting up my screen.

"Babe!" I yelled into the phone. I was suddenly feeling alert. Juicy gossip will do that to you.

"I was going to apologize for calling so early but clearly you're awake." He chuckled.

"Did you see?" I asked eagerly.

"Uhh...see what?" He asked and I let out a frusturted noise.

"Joel and Kat broke up! Did you see what that bitch said about me?!"

"Clearly not. I didn't even know they broke up. When did this happen?" He asked.

"Yesterday or something. She tweeted that being a hussy runs in my family and then called me trash!"

"What time are you getting in?" He asked and I screamed into the phone. "Holy shit." He mumbled.

"Are you not listening to me?!" I shouted at him.

"Yes, I heard you. Who cares? Let her run her mouth." He said so calmly.

"Sonny, you're killing me." I sighed and fell back onto the bed. He started chuckling.

"I don't know what you were expecting me to say."

"I don't know." I muttered and put a hand on my face.

"Oh that bitch!" She said angrily and I started giggling.

"I like that." I smiled.

"So what time are you getting in? I'm on the tarmac right now getting ready to fly over there. Shit, it'll probably still be dark by the time I get there." He said.

"I'm heading over to the airport at about six. It's only like, an hour fight or something. I should be there around eight maybe."

"Oh! That's a lot earlier than I thought."

"Surprise!" I snickered. "Why? Had plans that I can't crash?" I asked with a smirk.

"No! Actually, let's get breakfast or something."

"Oh shit. I forgot to tell you. I kind of invited Mason and Luke to come with last night." I don't know why I thought he would be annoyed or something.

"Okay? They can come too, I don't mind. To breakfast I mean." He said.

"Cool. I should probably start packing since I'm up." I mumbled.

"You haven't packed yet? Who are you and what have you done to my girlfriend?" He snickered and I rolled my eyes.

"I've been so stressed trying to move." I told him.

"What's there to be stressed about?"

"I don't know. It's just stressful."

"Fuck. I have to go. Call me when you get to the hotel." He hung up and I threw my phone on the bed before getting up and getting ready. I didn't need to pack much since I was technically only there for one night. I ended up packing one of my favorite dresses and a pair of heels for the night. I packed something to sleep in and then an outfit for tomorrow.

I got dressed in a pair of light washed ripped skinny jeans and a blank tank top. I threw on a pair of sandals and just let my hair fall the way it was since it was curly and out of my face.

I got on the pane with a small bag and a dress packed in a travel garnet. Luke and Mason came to pick me up. When we were pulling up to the airport, Cara called me sobbing. She was crying about how she ruined an engagement and that she's a terrible person. Most of which was all true but I wasn't about to tell her that. I tried to comfort her but I was really at a loss of what to say.

By the time I was actually on the plane, I was exhausted. It was hitting me that I had got up at an ungodly hour. I tried sleeping but Mason and Luke were being chatterboxes the whole time. By the time we landed I wanted to pass out.

We took a cab to the hotel, Wynn, which was located on the back half of Vegas Strip. When we got there I had three separate workers ask to carry my bag up with me. Wow. I feel special. I smiled and accepted.

"I don't need to check in. Sonny's up in the room already. You two, do however. You shouldn't have to pay a dime but call me if you're having any issues." I told Mason and followed the guy to the elevators.

"What's your room number, miss?" He asked as we waited for an elevator.

"Uhh, let me check." I said and pulled my phone out. Might have been good to figure this out before hand. "4423." I told him. We stepped into the elevator and I watched him push 44. "Oh wow, that's high up." I mumbled more to myself than him.

"You'll have a wonderful view." He smiled at me. When we finally made it up, I followed him out since I assumed he knew where he was going. "Here you are ma'am." He smiled at me as we stopped in front of a room. I knocked on the door and then dug around in my purse for my wallet so I could tip the guy. I looked up when the door opened and there stood Sonny. I instantly smiled.

"Hello." He looked at me and then glanced at the bell boy. He stepped aside and opened the door.

"Oh, you can just throw that where ever!" I told him as he walked in with my bag and dress bag. "Hi." I smiled at Sonny.

"Hi you." He smiled, still holding the door open.

"Your bag is on the chair and your dress is hanging in closet." The bell hop said with a smile. "Have a lovely day, ma'am." He gave a small little bow and I tipped him. "Thank you." He smiled some more before leaving. Sonny closed the door behind him and turned to me.

"I don't think I could smile as much as he has been doing since I pulled up." I teased and stepped forward and into his arms. "Hi." I smiled up at him.

"Hi. Again." He teased and leaned down to kiss me. I pulled away after a few seconds because I wanted to see this room. I instantly bee-lined for the gigantic window that took up a whole wall.

"God damn." I mumbled.

"Yeah, it's a bit much but I guess that's what you do in Vegas. Go big or go home." He came up next to me and threw an arm around my shoulders.

"They pay for it?" I asked.

"Everything. There is a bottle of champagne in the fridge too. I get in a fucking six in the morning and just there in the center of the room is a bottle of champagne. I'm like, was this really necessary?"

"Yes. Never turn down free champagne." I smirked still looking out at all the scenery. He pulled me into  his chest and I wrapped my arms around his waist. "You're loosing your voice." I mumbled and his chest shook as he chuckled. Just then my phone started ringing from my purse. I groaned and went to go pull it out to see Mason calling.

"Yes?" I answered.

"We made it to our room. What floor are you on?" He asked.

"The 44th."

"And we are only on 30? What the hell?"

"Ungrateful bastard." I smirked and he started laughing.

"I'm teasing! I was wondering if you wanted to grab breakfast?"

"Uh..."

"Wow. Clearly that's a no." He started snickering.

"No, I guess. I don't know. Give me like two minutes and I'll call you back." I told him and hung up. I sat down at one of the chairs. "Mason and Luke want to get breakfast." I told him followed by yawning.

"It's up to you, gorgeous." He came over and stood in front of me.

"Idealy, I would like to go back to sleep." I told him.

"So go to sleep." He shrugged. I sighed and unlocked my phone to call Mason back.

"Hey, want to just meet in the lobby?" I asked him and I looked up to see Sonny rolling his eyes.

"Yes, see you down there in a few minutes." He said before hanging up.

"This is why nobody understands the female population. You say one thing and do the other." He stepped back when I stood up.

"Stop being dramatic." I patted his face before stepping away and grabbing my purse. "Let's go." He followed me out without another word. I leaned on him while we waited for the elevator. "Maybe I need a mimosa or something to get me going." I mumbled.

"Knowing you, if you start now you'll be dead by noon." He smirked and I slapped his chest which made him laugh more. The elevator finally came and we headed down to the lobby.

"Oh! Cara called me this morning." I told him as I grabbed onto his arm.

"She have more nasty things to say about me?" He asked sarcastically but I could tell he was hurt by the comment still. The elevator stopped and sure enough, there stood both Luke and Mason with their arms around each other.

"Precious." I giggled at them.

"What's up, Skrillz?" Mason smirked and sauntered his way in like a diva. Luke didn't seem as happy.

"Not much. How have you two been?" He asked politely.

"Same shit, different day." Luke said and leaned against the rail in the elevator.

"So anyways, Cara called me crying about Joel and his breakup because she feels responsible." I told him and squeezed his arm again to try and get his attention back to me.

"Well, isn't she 100% responsible?" He asked confused.

"Yeah but she feels terrible about it. Like I kid you not, she was completely sobbing." I told him. We made it to the lobby and headed over to one of the resturants. I slipped my hand into Sonny's and couldn't help but smile when he squeezed my hand back.

"Hello!" The hostess smiled. She had a man behind her looking down at an ipad who glanced up at us and then did a double take.

"Mr. Moore!" He looked startled. The hostess just turned to look at him clearly confused.

"Hey." Sonny smirked at the guy.

"Just the four of you?" He asked. "Great, you can follow me." He led us to a table in the back before smiling and leaving.

"Does everyone know you?" Luke asked sarcastically which earned him a smack from Mason.

"Be nice." He mumbled under his breath. I sighed and was suddenly regretting my decision to come down here for breakfast. And slightly regretting inviting Luke in general.

"I need a drink." He muttered and looked down at the menu. Most of the breakfast was just Mason and I talking while Luke and Sonny just sat there. It was slightly awkward. When we finally made it back upstairs I couldn't shake the awkwardness.

"Joel just text me saying he's here." Sonny stood in the middle of the room looking down at his phone. I was laying sideways on the bed watching him. "He's on this floor, actually." He came over and sat on the edge of the bed in front of me. I reached out and grabbed the back of his shirt. He looked up from his phone and leaned back on his elbow.

"Are you going to his room?" I asked since I had the feeling he was going to be leaving me alone.

"Eventually." He locked his phone and threw it behind me up by the pillows. "Why?"

I reached out and grabbed some of his hair and played with it. "I don't know. Just wondering what I'm going to do by myself. I'll probably straighten my hair." I told him and he frowned.

"No, leave it." He commented and I raised an eyebrow.

"Why?"

"I like it curly." He said and he sat up for a second to kick his shoes off.

"Since when? You've never said anything before when I straighten my hair." I commented as I watched him get on the bed. He pushed me so I was on my back and crawled on top of me, straddling my waist.

"Yeah, what was I supposed to say? Baylee, I think you're hair looks bad." He said in a mocking tone and I glared up at him.

"It does not look bad." I pouted putting both my hands on my head.

"No," He grabbed both my hands and pinned them above my head. "but it looks like sex hair when it's curly and I love it." He crashed his lips to mine while his one of his hands left my wrist and made its way up my shirt.

Afterwards I don't even think he laid next to me for thirty seconds before he jumped up and got dressed. "Seriously?" I commented and he looked at me as he pulled his skinny jeans up.

"What?" He asked confused.

"You're going to leave not even two minutes after having sex?"

He opened his mouth to say something but was clearly drawing a blank. "Uhh..." He finally managed to get out. I sighed and sat up.

"Throw me my shirt." I told him and he tossed it right at my face. "Gee, thanks." I mumbled as he snickered. I got dressed and watched as he grabbed his laptop.

"I mean, I can stay if you want me to." He said but I knew that's not what he wanted and I wasn't about to make him.

"No. Go." I told him. "I'm probably going to nap before getting ready or something."

"You could always come with me? I'll only be down the hall."

"I'm going to pass but you have fun with your mouse boyfriend. Try to find some juicy gossip about his breakup." I teased with a smirk.

"I'm not going to ask him about his breakup! You're crazy."

"Yeah yeah, tell me something I don't know." I grabbed a pillow and threw it under my head. "I've got some Z's to catch." I closed my eyes and I smirked when I heard him snort.

"I'll be back in a bit." He said before leaving.

"With your boyfriend." I mumbled and tried not to giggle at my own joke.

I must have knocked the hell out because when I woke up again the sun was already starting to set. Actually the only reason I woke up is because the door slammed.

"You have been sleeping this whole fucking time?" Sonny asked baffled. I sat up and stretched. Joel marched in behind Sonny dressed in a Neff shirt and jacket with a hat on.

"What a loser." Joel mocked.

"Hey, bite me." I mumbled and got out of bed. I probably should start getting ready. I picked my phone up out of my purse to see a bunch of missed calls from Mason and Luke. I texted both of them to tell them I passed out and to come over. "Mason and Luke are coming over to help me get ready." I mumbled and sat down looking at my phone.

"Great." Sonny mumbled under his breath, clearly not meant to be heard.

"Why the attitude all of a sudden?" I asked and I saw Joel fighting a smirk.

"What? I don't have any attitude." Sonny acted dumb.

"I just heard you make a nasty comment. What's up with that?" I asked.

"Luke clearly has it out for me. What the fuck did I do for him to just decide to start hating me?"

"He doesn't hate you." I defended him and Sonny just gave me an annoyed look. I sighed and pushed my hair out of my face. "He just thinks your an ass."

"What the fuck did I do?" Sonny asked putting his arms out.

"Oh yeah, you're a real dick." Joel laughed to himself.

"Shut up." I glared at him and looked back to Sonny. "I don't know why he thinks your an ass." That's a lie. I totally knew why but I wasn't about to bring up the past.

"Prick." Sonny mumbled under his breath again and went back to opening his computer. A knock on the door broke the silence in the room. Joel was the closest so he opened it.

"Holy shit, look at this room. And look at that view!" Mason shouted as he made his way in. He looked so dapper since he was dressed up. He was also holding a neon green foot long glass that had some frozen drink in it with a crazy straw.

"Why am I not surprised that that's your entrance?" Joel asked sarcastically. Luke introduced himself to Joel and made his way in, also holding a neon green foot long glass. Only in Vegas.

"You two will probably get along. You're both car junkies." I told them and they both looked at each other.

Mason gave me shit for sleeping all day before offering to help me get ready. I started sipping on his drink that tasted like a sweet candy.

"Oh my god." I mumbled. "This is magical." I said taking sips of it. "Try this." I handed it to Sonny who took a sip.

"This tastes like candy." He mumbled taking another sip. Mason grabbed me and dragged me to the bathroom. Mason sat me down and started working on my makeup. Sonny appeared in the doorway sipping on the frozen drink. "How much alcohol is in this?" He asked.

"Well we'll find out if you keep sipping on it." Mason snickered. I heard Luke and Joel talking about cars so at least they were getting along. Sonny came in and just jumped up on the counter in the bathroom. "You're taking up space." Mason chastised.

"Get over it." Sonny mumbled taking another sip.

"Luke!! Want to be an angel and grab me the bottle of champaign in the fridge." I shouted. He brought it in and rolled his eyes before leaving. It felt very odd and normal at the same time that everyone was just hanging out in our room, not really doing anything.

"Want me to straighten it?" Mason asked me in the mirror as he grabbed a chunk of my hair. I glanced at Sonny who just blinked and took another sip.

"No, leave it." I told him and he frowned but shrugged.

"Damn, I love doing your hair."

"Do his." I pointed at Sonny who's eyes just widened.

"Can I?" Mason asked happily. I swear if he could have hearts for eyes right now he would. Sonny just shrugged and continued to sip on the drink. After Mason finished my makeup I went to go grab my dress to change. I just changed in the bathroom since Mason didn't really find anything on my body interesting and Sonny's already seen me naked too many times to count.

"A bit much, isn't it?" Sonny asked in the mirror while I was inspecting myself. I was wearing a black dress that wasn't too tight and was maybe a little short. It had one sheer sleeve and the other was a tank top. It was actually the dress I wore to dinner with my parents the last time they were in LA and I went to Sonny's little party after.

I picked my phone up off the counter and opened my camera. I turned the flash off and took a picture in the mirror. I laughed when I looked down at it. Sonny was sipping on the drink, Mason was smiling and currently mid doing his hair, and I was smiling.

I walked out of the bathroom smiling at my phone as I posted it to Instagram. I captioned it "This obviously isn't staying in Vegas" and tagged both of them.

Sonny and Mason came out of the bathroom a few minutes later and Sonny kept blinking. "There might have been a lot of alcohol in that." He mumbled setting the now empty foot long drink down.

"Fucking loser can't hold his alcohol." Joel laughed and I glared at him.

"Yeah, I've drank with you before. You can't hold your alcohol either." I told him and he snorted.

We all stayed in the room and finished off the bottle of champagne. Luke managed to stay civil so it was nothing but good vibes. We all headed down together when it was time for Sonny to go. He was holding his laptop and leaning against the wall in the elevator.

"Are you good to be performing?" I asked since I could tell he was a little drunk.

"Yeah." He frowned at me. "I could do this shit in my sleep." He waved me off. There wasn't a doubt in my mind he could do this in his sleep....when he was sober. When we got there, Hog and Tim were waiting for him. Him and Joel split to go in the back and the three of us were going to the private table in the back they set up for him.

I hugged him and he squeezed back. He usually wasn't really into PDA so I was surprised he held on for so long. "Knock em' dead, lost boy." I kissed his cheek and let him go.

Sonny's set was going great until about twenty minutes from when he was done the music just cut off. We all looked up towards the stage he was on. Sonny was standing there with his hands in the air looking around at his decks.

"Fuck!" He shouted into the microphone. "I just broke my computer, man." He said again and Luke threw his head back and started laughing. I glared at him before looking back to the stage. Everyone was shouting things. "Shit." He swore again. "I just broke my computer." He kept saying.

"I'm so glad I'm here for this." Luke said and I glared at him again.

"Shut the fuck up." I glared at him and he stopped laughing when he realized I was serious. I got up and moved a little closer to the crowd and watched as Hog helped Sonny's laptop upside down looking at it.

"Yeah, my computer's dead. Yo, we had a lot of fun though!" Sonny shouted and people cheered. "I spilled a drink on my computer. FUCK MY LIFE! I'm drunk and you're all drunk too!" Sonny kept going and I was torn between being concerned and wanting to laugh. "Who wants a computer?" He asked and everybody went insane. He ended up smashing his midi instead and threw it out into the crowd before jumping down. "Yo, I have no reason to keep playing but I love you guys! Thank you so much! My name is Skrillex!" He shouted before heading off. I stepped back and headed back over to the table. I thought about going back to go find him but I knew he would be coming out here as soon as the crowd dispersed.

Joel came and plopped down by us. "Great show." He snickered and I frowned. Why was this so funny to everyone? I kept checking my phone to see the time, waiting for Sonny. It took him almost an hour to come over and when he did he was holding a drink.

"Here comes the drunk ass!" Joel laughed and Sonny smiled and shook his head. Sonny sat down and pulled out a cigarette.

Sonny and Joel kept throwing jokes back and fourth at each other for a while as Joel got drunk and Sonny got drunker. My phone that was sitting on the table next to my drink lit up and I looked down to see Cara's name pop up with a text. I had totally forgot about the whole Cara and Joel thing because I was distracted with Sonny and his show.

"I just saw her tweets. I don't know whether to feel better about myself or worse." She had texted and I locked my screen not really wanting to deal with her right now. Maybe it was the alcohol talking now but I had the courage to bring it up to him. I got up and stepped over Mason and sat myself right next to Joel on the couch. We had to lean in to talk to each other since it was so loud in here but that was okay since I didn't want anyone to hear this.

"So I heard you and my sister decided to hook up." I told him over the music. He leaned back and raised his eyebrow at me, concerned.

"I don't really know what you want me to say about this. What's done is done." He told me.

"I just don't want her being dragged into all your relationship drama." I told him and he frowned at me.

"I'm not dragging her into anything. And I don't see how this is any of your buisness." He told me and it was my turn to frown at him.

"Maybe because she's my sister and I have her best interest." I told him.

"Look, I'm not dragging her into anything. So stop worrying." He told me and leaned back on the couch clearly over this conversation. I sighed and stood up.

"I'm getting another drink. Does anyone want anything?" I asked and Luke jumped up.

"I'll come with." Luke followed me up to the bar. We were actually getting free drinks all night but they weren't coming fast enough, but I wasn't going to complain about free alcohol so I just went up to the bar. We ordered and waited for the guy to fill our drinks.

"Can you stop being rude to Sonny?" I asked Luke and he frowned back at me.

"I'm not being rude." He replied and I gave him a "yeah right" look.

"Yes you are. All you do is glare at him and make nasty comments under your breath." I frowned him.

"No I don't! And I'm allowed to have an opinion on the dude."

"I don't care if you have an opinion can you just not trying to show it? It's so rude and makes me feel awkward."

"Hard to hide it when the guy is a prick." He mumbled and grabbed his drink and turned to head back. I grabbed his shirt and pulled him back. Ironic, he said the same thing about you.

"If you cared about me then you'd hide it."

"If he cared about you he wouldn't be texting other bitches." He shot back and I glared up at him.

"I've already talked to him about that. We've moved on. Why the hell are you so hung up on it?" I asked.

"Because I've physically watched him still do it. I don't know what the fuck you talked about but clearly it didn't work. Might want to check his phone tonight to see who he's drunk texting." Luke spat and turned to leave but I reached out and grabbed his shirt again.

"What the hell are you talking about?" I asked. He rolled his eyes and looked so annoyed that I was asking him questions. "No, don't get annoyed. You can't just accuse him of that and then walk away."

"I'm not accusing him. I've fucking watched him. He was texting her this morning and I'll bet you he's texting her right now. Clearly he really cares about you." He glared at me and I could feel my eyes start to water. "Fuck, Baylee." He grabbed my arm and pulled me to a private section away from people and I felt a tear slip down my face. "I'm not trying to be an asshole but he makes it really fucking hard when all he does is make stupid decisions. I'm only looking out for you here." He said and I wiped my cheek with my free hand.

"I just don't understand why you're ruining a good day." I frowned and tried to make myself stop crying but I was drunk and my emotions were everywhere right now.

"I'm not trying to ruin a good day. You started this conversation." He said.

"No, I'm not dealing with this right now." I wiped my eyes again and ran a hand under my eyes to make sure no makeup was running before heading back to the table.

"Baylee!" He called after me and followed. I turned around and glared at him.

"No, I'm done talking about this. Don't talk to me about it for the rest of the night." I glared at him before flipping my hair and heading back over. I sat down next to Sonny and tried to pretend like I wasn't just told he was still texting that stupid girl.

Sonny instantly had a hand on my leg and looked at me. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." I said and but he looked like he wasn't buying it. I looked over to see that Holly whoever was sitting here now next to Joel. What was her name? The playmate one? She's dating the magician dude or something. I wasn't even remotely fazed. I checked the time on my phone to see that it was almost three in the morning. I was completely over this.

"Want to leave?" I asked Sonny in his ear. He looked back at me concerned before nodding. We said our goodbyes before getting up and leaving. We walked in silence to the elvator after he said thank you to the manager of the place for the table and everything. It was mostly him leaning on me trying to stay balanced.

"You're not okay." He mumbled when we were alone in the elevator.

"I'm fine. I swear." I told him not wanting to talk about it.

"Talk to me." He slurred and I had to practically drag him to the room.

"There's nothing to talk about." I lied and when we got to the room he plopped down on the bed and passed out instantly. I changed and turned all the lights off. "Sonny." I said and shook him a little. He made a quiet nose but didn't move. He was clearly down for the count.

I stared at him for a second before getting the idea to just go through his phone. Was I really going to be that girl? I fought with myself before finally just telling my brain to shut up and I reached in his pocket for his phone. I unlocked it and pulled up his messages. My heart sunk when her name was towards the top of his messages but she wasn't the last person he was texting so I tried to calm myself down with that.

I opened the conversation and started skimming. It was mostly about his upcoming shows and she mentioned about her friend having a crush on one of the guys on his crew she met. It wasn't really flirty but at the same time it wasn't really necessary. If she wanted to come to a show so bad, why wouldn't she just talk about that and then be done with it? Why did the conversation need to keep going on?

I locked his phone after closing his messages and set it down on the bedside table. I shook Sonny awake and he barely opened his eyes.

"You gotta change." I told him and he groaned before rolling over and peeling his shirt off. It took him like two minutes to get his jeans undone and kick them over before grabbing the blanket and throwing it over himself and passing out again. He was like a drunk zombie.

I crawled in the other side and looked out the big window at the lights that I could see from the bed. I sighed and thought about this whole trip. It went absolutely nothing like I thought it would. I was planning on calling Joel out on his shit and finding some juicy details of his break up and that didn't happen in the slightest.

Now I was dealing with Sonny and this stupid girl issue. I couldn't decide if I should call him out on it or not. Would I just be stirring the pot?

Then I thought about Luke and all the nasty things he said. Obviously I would have to deal with him sooner rather than later since we would be on the same plane tomorrow.

I wanted to start crying at all the thoughts running through my head but I forced myself not to. I just closed my eyes and fell into an alcohol induced sleep, willing myself to stop thinking about all of this until tomorrow.
