Fluff

The next morning I woke up to an alarm on a phone going off. I groaned and lifted my head to see Sonny sit up rather quickly.

"Get up." He pushed me and I groaned again.

"Ow. What the hell." I mumbled before reluctantly sitting up.

"Why did you set an alarm?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"It's a surprise. Now get up and get ready!" He was already out of bed and I was still trying to process what was happening.

"What am I getting dressed for?" I asked confused as to what I was supposed to wear.

"Anything!" He was so freaking eager. I got up and got ready. I just dressed in a pair of light washed jeans and a black strappy tank top that exposed a lot of my back. I tousled my hair around a lot before I deemed it acceptable. I threw on black boots and walked out of the room with a yawn.

Maggie was laying on the couch in last nights outfit looking like she had just woken up too. Sonny threw a jacket on checking his pockets to make sure he had everything.

"I need a coffee." I mumbled trying to hold back another yawn.

"You kids have fun today." Maggie said turning back over on the couch. "I'm staying here until I wake up again." She mumbled into the pillow and I just nodded in her direction not really caring what she did.

"Cars waiting. Let's go!" Sonny grabbed my hand and pulled me along.

"We couldn't drive?" I asked as I closed the door behind me and followed him out.

"No. I'm trying to make it special here." He said and I put my hands up in defense.

"Seriously though. Can we get coffee?" I asked and he nodded. We got in some nice car. Sonny clearly already knew the driver and asked if we could swing by a starbucks beforehand. We were able to quickly get in and order and get out. We both got iced coffees and we were back on the road to an unknown location. I drank a good portion of my coffee at once before putting it in a cup holder and leaning on Sonny. I was so tired this morning.

I was thinking about where we were going and then I started thinking about his new places and when he was going to furnish them. Then it dawned on me that I never gave Wes a response. "Oh shit." I mumbled digging my phone out.

"What?" Sonny asked.

"I forgot to text Wes back." I said pulling up my conversation with him.

"I told him no." He said and I looked up at him.

"What do you mean you told him no?" I asked confused.

"I told him you were flying down with me." He said like it wasn't a big deal.

"When did this happen?" I was so baffled and he just shrugged.

"Last night." He said with a smirk and I was still pretty shocked.

"Okay then..." I put my phone away and looked out the window to get an idea of where we were going. "Why?" I turned back to him and ask.

"Why what?" He asked.

"Why'd you tell him no?" I was curious now.

"Because I'm not about to give time up with you. Plus I need help with both the apartment and the Nest. He can handle everything just fine on his own." He said and I blinked. I couldn't believe he did that. Thank goodness he did though because I was close to caving in and just saying yes.

I leaned over and kissed him. "Thank you." I whispered and he smiled and pulled me back for another kiss. "So where are we going?" I asked and he smiled and shook his head.

"We're close." He said looking down at his phone that had an email pulled up. I sighed and continued looking out the window.

Eventually we passed a sign that I recognized and I instantly knew where we were going. "We're going to Disneyland!" I sat up straight and he started laughing.

"Yes." I smiled at him and looked out the window again. Seriously, how cute of an idea. I haven't been to Disney since I was a kid and the thought of going with Sonny just made my heart swell.

We eventually made it and I felt like a child bouncing around as we walked through the gates. Sonny put a hand around my shoulders and pulled me close to him as we walked. He kissed my temple and smiled down at me. "Happy birthday slash valentines day slash anniversery or something." He said and I started giggling. He removed his arm and reached for my hand, linking his fingers through mine.

"Where to first?" He asked and I was so overwhelmed. He eventually picked and we were off on what was the greatest date ever.

The whole day flew by too quickly. By the time we made it back to the car it was dark and my body was exhausted from all the walking. My cheeks hurt too from smiling so damn much but I couldn't help it. This whole day was perfect. Sonny bought me the mouse ears with my name sewn on the back in gold.

When we were in the car I instantly put my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes. He started chuckling, making my head bounce a little. "Tired?" He asked and I yawned which answered his question. He pulled his phone out and started responding to texts and emails. I knew I wasn't going to sleep in the car so I sat up and pulled my phone out too. I thought about answering emails but decided I didn't feel like dealing with that so I pulled up my social medias instead. I opened twitter scrolling through and retweeting things I thought were funny. I never really tweeted so that went pretty fast. Then I pulled up instagram and decided to post a photo from today. I scrolled through until I found one we took this morning in front of the castle. I posted it with the caption "Disney with the boo". I thought about tagging him in it but it was pretty self explanitory so I left it alone and posted it.

I scrolled through looking at all my friends photos liking a bunch. I noticed the orange notification dot in the corner and clicked on it to see my likes. I was already in the double digits despite having posted it only a minute ago. A comment appeared from my sister that said "Does he have a brother with a normal haircut?" I started laughing and Sonny looked over at me. I just handed him the phone and kept laughing.

"Wow." He laughed and handed it back. He closed his email and opened up instagram. He liked my photo before commenting back at Cara, "Haircut or bust." causing me to laugh even more. I refreshed my notifications to see Sonny's come up.

I kept giggling when I opened up facebook to post all my photos in an album. By the time I was done dicking around on my phone we were pulling up to my place. It was almost 11 at night and I was pretty sure I was going to knock out as soon as I laid down. As soon as we stepped out of the car he pulled a cigarette out.

"Were you dying all day without one?" I asked and he shoved me gently as we walked to the door making me giggle. "Well I'm going to go get ready for bed. You have fun standing out here by yourself." I winked at him and walked inside.

"Ha ha." He shouted at my back and I just giggled to myself as I made to get ready to go to sleep. I changed into my usual no pants and tshirt combo. I charged my phone and went to go grab my laptop that was sitting on top of a dresser. I noticed a candle that had been sitting on my dresser for a while now and decided to light it. I thought I had a lighter somewhere in one of my junk drawers in the kitchen. Just as I was walking out to go dig around for one Sonny walked in the front door closing it behind him.

"Hey, toss my your lighter." I said holding my hands out and he tossed it with no questions. He followed me back into the bedroom and walked over to his things. I lit the candle and he just looked at me funny.

"What are you trying to do? Set the mood?" He snickered and I rolled my eyes.

"I wasn't but if that's what you'd like I have more candles laying around." I said somewhat sarcastically.

"I wouldn't be opposed to the idea." He said and I turned to look at him but he wasn't paying attention to me. Instead he was peeling his shirt off and looking for a new one.

"Seriously?" I said less sarcastically and this time he turned to look at me with a shirt in hand. All he did was blink and then shrug. I raised an eyebrow at him. "I'm tired." I told him and it was true, I was exhausted but the more I thought about it the more I wasn't opposed to the idea either. He just shrugged again and pulled a new shirt on.

I left and went out into the living room where I knew I had three more candles sitting on the coffee table. I grabbed them and gathered them in my hands and brought them back to the bedroom. I dumped them on the bed, not really thinking about the glass clinking together. Sonny was sitting on on his half of the bed.

"Oh!" He perked up completely. It was so comical that I almost laughed out loud. "I thought you were tired?" He questioned as I pulled the top off of one and lit it.

"Yeah, well now you've got me all hot and bothered." I mumbled while I placed that one on the bedside table. I grabbed the next one and lit that too. He jumped up of bed so quickly and grabbed the third candle sitting on the bed. "There are two more on the counter in the kitchen." I told him setting this one next to the one I just lit.

"Why do you have so many damn candles?" He shouted as he bolted to the kitchen.

"Just for this moment." I joked and sat on the end of the bed waiting for him. He came back in and I lit both placing them on the other bedside table. I reached back and turned the lights off. When I turned back around Sonny was right in front of me causing me to jump.

"Hi." I smiled at him and put my hands on either side of his hips.

"Well hello my beautiful beautiful girlfriend." He smiled and put his hands on either side of my face.

"Thank you for today." I smiled at him and he leaned down to kiss me. It was short and sweet.

"Anything for you." He kissed me again and I smiled before grabbing his shirt in my hands and pulling him closer to me if that were at all possible.

"Seriously though, thank you." I smile at him and he leaned down waisting no time now. I pushed him towards the bed and the best day of my life.
