Rejected for the date, but we will wait

"Look. Cross." Nightmare took a deep breath in, as he thought of what he should say. "Corrupted is your boyfriend right?" He asked. Cross nodded sheepishly. Nightmare looked back down at the flowers, then at Cross.

"I think I know why you got me flowers, and if I am right then I need to tell you something." He said. Cross nodded confusedly.

Nightmare took a deep breath in again. "It's not that I don't love you Cross. I do. I mean me and Corrupted are pretty much the same when it comes to emotions so can't really deny that, but I'm just not ready." He had started to tear up. "I-I I'm not sure if I'll every be ready, and I-I I'm sorry for that." He sniffled.

Cross set the flowers down in front of the tombstone. He hugged Nightmare cautiously much like he had did on Christmas, and Nightmare melted into it.

He hated that. He hated how comfortable he had gotten with Cross. He hated that it felt like betrayal. He hated that part of him was starting to think Error wasn't coming back. He hated that Error ever left. He hated Dream for telling Cross to do this. He hated Corrupted for being so selfish. He hated everything.

Most of all though, he hated himself. He hated that he couldn't move on. He hated that he had to move on. He hated that he didn't actually hate anything at all. He was just a mess of emotions.

He pulled away. Nightmare sighed. "I'm sorry." He muttered. Cross smiled, and sighed. He kissed Nightmare's forehead.

"I'll be patient." Cross said calmly. Nightmare looked at him surprised. "How ever long it takes." Cross put his knees to his chest, as he gave Nightmare his space. "I will wait." He said softly, as he looked up at the stars.

Nightmare smiled appreciatively. 'God he's so cute.' He thought. This is going to be hard.

Farm had been watching Sci after they had their little 'date'. He had fallen asleep on the floor after a while. Apparently watching someone make a code-like serum for hours was not very entertaining.

Sci chuckled. It did feel much like a happy ending. Though real life came and took him back to the present.

The last two doses were probably the hardest to make since they had to be larger than the rest. Nevertheless he had finished another one.

"Three down. One. To. Go." He muttered proudly, as we fell back into his chair, tiredly. "Ahh!" He yelled.

W was in front of the syringes looking at them in amazement. He looked very excited and giddy. "Umm- W? Are you okay?" He asked. W snapped out of his trance.

"Ohh me? Of course." He said, his demeanor changing form excited and giddy to calm and collected, as he cleared his throat. "Just checking to make sure everything was alright." He said.

"Right. Well I just finished the third syringe." Sci said. W had a small smile on his face. Sci walked over to his chalk board, stumbling a little on the way.

W watched in concern. "I think you should go to sleep." He said. Sci shook his head.

"I need to finish." He looked at the board. "We need to do it as soon as possible."

W furrowed his brows. "I was thinking." He started. "We should probably do it on the day he left." He said.

Sci looked at him in shock. "Why not sooner?" He asked.

"Well, to give us time to prepare, so that he left on that day and he returns on that day. Also how are we even planing on doing it?" He asked.

Sci groaned tiredly. He pulled out a big binder and flipped to a page. "If this does work we should probably keep him locked in the room for a few days." He said. "His magic could possibly go crazy though I doubt that would happen since Error has always been good at control."

W nodded. "What about before we do it?"
Sci looked at him and sighed.

"It's really up to you if you want to tell him. It could be useful to us, but at the same time it might make him panic." Sci said.

W tipped his head. "We won't tell him." He said. "Me, you, Farm and Epic right? Those are the only ones who know." Sci nodded. "Then it's simple. We each inject him with one. Where do they need to go again?" He asked.

Sci looked down at the paper. "Uhh- one on his neck, one on his waist, one on his left arm and one on his right leg." He said.

W nodded. "Right well- I think I'll be going." He said. Sci nodded sleepily.

Before W left he turned to look at Sci one last time. "You really should take a rest." He said. Sci shook his head again.

"No time." He muttered as he looked back at the notes. W chuckled at his stubbornness, knowing that he would probably pass out soon anyways.
