But thats pretty gay

The middle of the night. It was very dark in all the corners of the hospital. Error slowly left the room. Trying to not be seen by anyone, especially Cross or Nightmare.

The chocolate he ate with Cross also kinda made him want some more so he started walking to the cafeteria. He carefully walked behind the counter to enter the kitchen.

Once he was in the kitchen he saw a certain monochrome skeleton.

"Error?"

"Cross?"

"What are you doing here?" They asked at the same time. They laughed.

"I came for chocolate milk." Cross explained.

"Yeah I came for chocolate." Error said. Cross nodded. They went on to find what they wanted. They were so busy getting their respective food that they didn't notice the other person who came into the kitchen.

Ink was leaning against the counter eating cookies. He stared at the other too with a dead inside look. His eye lights no longer having the life or expression that they usually did, instead being replaced by two white dots.

"Ahh!" Error screamed.

"Hey Error." Ink said calmly. He looked to where Cross was. "Hey Cross." He continued eating his food.

"Ink what are you doing?" Error asked.

Ink shrugged. "I'm tired." He said. Error sighed.

"What were you doing?" Cross asked curiously as he took a sip of chocolate milk.

"Dream." Ink said calmly. Cross almost spit his chocolate milk out.

Error chuckled. "You really need to drink your vials again." He said.

Ink nodded. He sipped the last of his milk, and put the cup in the sink. He took out his paintbrush and painted some on the floor.

He looked back at Cross and Error. "I'm glad your back Error." He grabbed another cookie. "Even if I can't show it." He jumped into the paint puddle and disappeared.

Error and Cross stared at it for a while before cracking up. After that there was nothing but awkward silence.

Error turned to look at Cross. He was looking at the floor in regret and nervousness.

Error smiled sadly, conflicted as to what he was supposed to do. He tapped Cross' shoulder, making the other lift his head.
"Come. Follow me." Error motioned for him to follow.

Cross did so out of curiosity and regret. They went upstairs, and to a place Cross had been in last time. The attic.

Error went in as if it was second nature. Looking at it again in this new light it did seem like it belonged to Error. It had a huge, bright blue bean bag chair at the far corner that matched Error perfectly.

Error sat on the chair and motioned for Cross to sit on a wooden chair that was placed next to it. Error sighed not really knowing what to say yet.

He thought back to earlier today and what Nightmare had said. 'Geez he really did go hard on him.' He thought.

"I'm sorry, Cross." He said, not knowing that he was saying it out loud.

"Why?" Cross asked. Error froze, realizing what he said.

"Umm- I'm sorry cause- I guess just the whole situation that we're in is kinda messed up." He explained. Cross nodded understandingly.

"I can break up with him if you want I wouldn't want to-"

"W-w-w-w-wait what do you mean?" He asked. Cross looked at him confusedly.

"I thought you wouldn't want me to stay with him." He said. Error sighed sadly.

"Let me tell you something." He paused for a bit presumably finding the right words to say. "When I first met Nightmare he was very......scared. I mean we all were when we first arrived, but we were scared of each other. He was scared of himself."

"He thought that he was dangerous and would lock himself away. Even Corrupted thought that they were dangerous. Everyone tried to help him, but no one could. Eventually they came to me since I was the only one left that hadn't talked to him, and I guess I understood him better. I knew his pain I guess, cause he got better at controlling his emotions after we talked a bit." Error explained.

"Anyways the point is that Nightmare would barely open up to anyone before he met me, and I'm not exactly sure how he acted when you first met him, but what I saw earlier today made it seem like you really helped him." Error said. He gave Cross a proud smile.

Cross blushed. He thought back to how Nightmare acted when he first met him, and realized that he did act like a more calmer version of what Error described. Not interested in talking to people, always thinking he was to dangerous for Cross and even trying to avoid Cross at times.

He looked back at Error. "Can I ask you a question?" He asked. Error nodded curiosity. "What is your relationship with Nightmare?"

Error smiled. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small object that he cover with his hands. He gave the object to Cross.

It was a small ring that matched Error's color scheme. The ring itself was black, but it had little red, blue and yellow diamonds on it as well.

He looked back at Error. "You guys are married?" He asked. Error nodded.

Cross looked down at the floor in embarrassment. Error tapped his shoulder again. "Don't be sad." He said.
"Please."

Cross smiled. Error stood up. "I'll be right back okay?" He asked. Cross nodded. Error teleported away.

He came back a few minutes later with a large bowl of popcorn. Cross eyed it curiously. Error handed it to him, and he took it cautiously.

Error looked at him in amusement. "Have you never had popcorn before?" Cross shook his head.

Error chuckled. "Taste it." He encouraged. Cross hesitantly grabbed a piece and put it in his mouth.

It tasted kinda salty, like chips but not really. Error took something else out. A big screen like box that had buttons on the bottom half of it.

"Do you know what this is?" Error asked.

Cross shook his head again. "It's called a Tv." Error explained. Cross perked up. 'So that's what a tv looks like.' He thought.

Error got a control out that turned on the tv. He did something that Cross didn't understand before putting some sort of channel on.

He laid back on the bean bag, and got comfortable. "This is my favorite show." He told Cross. Cross nodded, as he watched the tv attentively.

They watched for a few hours. Cross kept on asking Error questions about what was happening. What surprised Error was that he actually knew what the show was saying.

After watching the show for a long time Error learned enough Spanish to understand, and keep up with what was happening. But it seemed like Cross was naturally fluent at it.

After a while Cross fell asleep. Error got off of the bean bag and laid Cross on it so that he wouldn't be uncomfortable.

He smiled. 'He is kinda cute.' He thought. It started to make sense why Nightmare had fallen in love with him in the first place.

Error sighed. He walked out of the attic and into the white room once again.

Nightmare and Corrupted laid alone in dreadful silence. Nightmare on Cross' bed and Corrupted on Nightmare's bed.

They said nothing. There was nothing to be said. They just stared upwards at the celling in regret and sadness.

"Do you think they'll forgive us?" Corrupted asked. Nightmare thought for a while.

Any other time he would tell Corrupted to fuck off, but he was currently the only one he had that felt what he was feeling.

"I don't know." He whispered quietly. A single tear sliding down his cheek.

"I don't know."
