"Cross~" Dust teased. Dust, Killer, Horror and Red were in a magical barrier which they couldn't leave.

"Cross~" this time Horror teased him.

Cross resisted the urge to ask what they wanted. "Come on Cross~ talk to us." Said Dust.

"I'm not supposed to." Said Cross sternly.

"And why not?" Asked Horror with a grin.

Cross thought for a while. "Because... because you were being bad? What DID you do to make Epic trap you guys in there?" Asked Cross.

They all turned to look at Killer. He sighed while chuckling a little. "We asked Epic for a knife and he said no, so then I told them we could take off my magic restraints if we really tried and I could spawn knives." Finished Killer.

"So you took off your magic restraints?" Asked Cross.

They all nodded. "Then why are ALL of you in there?" He asked.

They all laughed even more. "We used Killer's knives to take off ours too." Dust said.

So that's why they were in a magical barrier. Cross tried spawning a knife, but it would appear, glitch a bit, then disappear.

"What are you doing?" Asked Horror.

"Trying to spawn a knife." Said Cross.

They all looked at him skeptically as he kept on trying. "I'm pretty sure you have magical restraints on too." Said Killer. Cross nodded sadly.

Epic came back with Geno. They looked mad at the ones on the barrier. They were holding what appeared to be more magical restraints.

Epic was about to make the barrier disappear, but Geno stopped him. "You guys promise not to use magic?" He asked. They all nodded with devilish smiles.

As soon as Epic made the barrier disappear Killer, Dust and Horror ran out and started to use their magic. Though unfortunately Epic had made another barrier this time around all of them.

He grabbed their souls, put the magical restraints on them and took away the barrier. Red laughed at them as he was also getting restraints put on him by Geno.

They all looked sad. Geno looked at them with a glare that could kill. "We wouldn't have to put restraints on you if you guys would behave." Said Geno.

"We do behave. It's not like anyone's ever died before." Said Dust with an innocent smile.

Geno rolled his eyes. "Yes because I get here fast enough." He said.

"Geno." Said Reaper on the other line of the walkie talkie.

"What?" Asked Geno.

"He said he needs Killer and Red next." Said Reaper.

"Okay." Said Geno. "Killer. Red, come with me." Said Geno. Killer and Red followed Geno curiously.

Dust, Horror and Cross were confused. Chara looked at Cross with worry. "What?" He whispered.

Chara gestured for him to follow him and started floating away. Cross started following leaving Dust all alone.

He didn't see Epic anywhere thinking that he left. He took his chance and ran inside as fast as he could, without being spotted by anyone.

He ran to the white rooms. He got the key and unlocked one of the rooms.

"Dust?" Asked Blue.

Dust smiled and held his hand out helping Blue stand. He stood up.

"Come on. Let's go get candy." He said.

Blue lit up as they started to leave the room. He forgot all about his nightmares.
They quickly but sneakily started to walk to the cafeteria.

Chara sat down carefully trying not to go through the grass. Cross sat next to Chara. They stayed in silence, Chara not knowing what to say and Cross waiting for Chara to start.

"Do you remember XGaster?" Asked Chara not turning to look at Cross.

Cross thought for a while. The name XGaster didn't ring any bells, but at the same time it was tied to a strange sense of nostalgia that he couldn't quite fathom.

"No?" Said Cross in more of a question. Chara turned to look at him with shock and wonder.

"You don't?" He asked. Cross shook his head. Chara turned back to look at the distance, seemingly thinking this new information through.

"What is the first thing you remember?" Asked Chara. Cross thought for a while.
He knew what growing up and being a child was. Yet he couldn't remember a time where he was a kid or even a teenager.

"I remember running away from a black and purple mansion?" That's the farthest he could remember. He was surprised at how much he had presumably forgotten. Of course when you are younger you don't remember much, but that was only a few months ago, before he ran away and was found by the Tale mental hospital.

"That was XGaster's mansion." Said Chara sadly. "He erased your memory."

Cross understood to some extent. "Is he a bad person?" He asked.

Chara nodded. Cross looked into the distance, both of them staying in a calm silence.

Then they heard a loud sound. It was coming from inside the hospital. There were now mental wall like doors blocking the entrees.

"Cross!" Yelled Epic. Cross looked for Epic.

"Come on Bruh we need to go." He said. Cross nodded and started following him.

"He's here." Said Sci. W looked worried.

"Who is?" Asked Killer.

"XGaster." Was the last thing W said before he teleported away. He went to a room atop everything, located near the roof. There he saw cameras that were placed around the outside of the hospital.

Surely enough there was a strange figure. He resembled the look of W but more purple and dead looking. He also had a strange looking lizard monster who looked like a robot.

W wasted no time and pressed a big blue button on in front of him that read 'lockdown'.

"Attention everyone. We are in immediate lock down. Everyone try to make your way towards the cafeteria." He tried to give the least amount of information to prevent panic.

Then a thought came into his mind. Error. He ran to the medical center, all the way to the back, to the right and then unlocked the door Nightmare had seen a little while earlier.

Inside was a skeleton. He had black bones with yellow and red accents. He was laying on a hospital bed with needles and monitors connected to him. It seemed at times that he wasn't even there since he would glitch out of existence only to appear again seconds later. Though the glitches would stay on his body almost everywhere making his body not be very visible. His eyes were permanently open, but had 'error' signs in them.

W made a magical barrier around the skeleton, hiding his aura and making it impossible for anyone to locate him.

He left without a word and started to teleport outside.

"Geno." He talked into the walkie talkie.

"Yes?" Geno asked on the other side of the line.

"I'm going outside. Wish me luck." He said.

"Good luck." Said Geno.

W walked outside of the hospital and towards where he figured XGaster was located. He saw him and tried to hid behind a tree. Though alas he was spotted by his once best friend, now his enemy.

"Hello brother."
