Valentines Day

"So it's about love?" Cross asked.

Ink and Dream nodded. "We usually get the day to ourselves like how we did on Christmas." Dream explained.

"So what do you do?" Asked Cross.

"Well- you show your love to people, but mostly you just hang out with who you love." Dream explained.

"Yeah like Outer hangs out with Killer, Dust hangs out with Blue and I hang out with Dream." Ink said.

Cross nodded. "You can hang out with Nightmare if you'd like." Dream said with a grin. Cross blushed.

"Yeah I guess." He muttered. "Are there any......... traditions?"

Dream and Ink looked at each other. "You can get him flowers." Dream suggested. Cross blushed even more. He smiled and nodded. He left without another word, hoping not to embarrass himself further.

Dust was staring at the many bones in front of him. Some where orange, which he had to ask Blue what that color meant. Some were blue, he learned what those meant the hard way. The rest were a plain milk white color.

"Umm- are you going yet?" Blue asked as he watched from the side. Dust smiled at him nervously.

"Wait I'm just figuring out a way to get through." He said. Dust took a deep breath, and ran into the obstacle course.

He dodged the bones that were being thrown at him with ease, though the thrill of it still made him very excited. They did this every year, every since they became friends, and Blue shared his love for making traps and puzzles. Though this time it was a bit more difficult since Blue had had practice earlier.

He was doing great up until he got distracted. He didn't see Blue anywhere and was trying to look for him. He soon learned that not looking at what you were doing was not the best choice.

He found himself inside of a blue, boned cage. Despite his instincts telling him to run out, he stayed still knowing what the blue bones did.

Blue soon came into view. His eyes were wide, and he looked shocked. "How?" He asked. Dust smiled.

"You win." He said proudly. Blue's eyes turned into stars, as his shock was soon replaced with overwhelming happiness. Those were the two worlds he had longed for Dust to say. Ever since the first time they did this.

The first time they did this, Blue said that if Dust didn't make it to the end then he would win, but if he did then Dust would win. Dust had been very capable of making it to the end of the bones, but had 'accidentally' fell to make Blue feel like he had won.

Unfortunately Blue noticed and was sad that Dust had lied to him. He told him to never ever lie to him, and Dust promised. Blue knew that he may never win, and yet here he was.

"Really?" Blue asked in disbelief and excitement. Dust nodded. Blue took away the blue bones and pounced on Dust, hugging him tightly. He was squealing quietly. Dust smiled and hugged back.

Then Blue realized something. He let go and looked at Dust. He had a devilish smile. "Your turn." He said as he levitated Blue. Blue smiled nervously at the new obstacle course. 'Oh boy'

"Can I paint YOU this time instead?" Asked Shattered. Dream had let him out only on this day to spend with Ink.

"No why?" Whined Ink.

"Because you always do it." Said Shattered.

Ink pouted. "But you did it last time." He said sadly.

Shattered thought for a moment. "How about we do something different." Shattered suggested. Ink perked up.

With his tentacles Shattered placed two chairs with two canvases in front of each other. "How about you paint what our children may look like." He said.

Ink blushed, but nodded excitedly. Shattered smiled and started painting as well.

"How do you always win?" Asked Killer. They were on the floor of the game room, playing a game of cards.

Outer laughed. "Maybe it's because I actually pay attention to what I'M doing instead of looking at what YOU are doing." He said.

Killer frowned. "Fine. Just one more round." He said. Outer sighed, chuckled then nodded.

They played another round of whatever game they were playing, but this time Killer didn't stare at Outer to see what his next more would be. Instead he watched his cards attentively and tried to win.

"Yes!" He cheered. Outer smiled.

"I told you." He said. Killer smiled embarrassedly.

"Thankyou." He said. Outer smiled and hugged him.

He was dancing delicately in the middle of the main hall, humming a little tune. Spinning in the middle, as rows of hearts gather around him in a mesmerizing pattern.

Then a big heart appeared under him. It levitated him about one foot above the ground. It spun slightly, though Lust seemed to have incredible balance as he made more hearts and illuminated the room with their bright pink glow. He danced majestically on the heart as more hearts attached to the celling like stars.

After a very difficult and long spin he tripped and almost fell of the heart. The smaller hearts falling due to the loss of concentration from the one that yields them.

Horror ran out from his hiding spot. He had been watching from afar, knowing that Lust was very self conscious about performing. He was ready to catch him if he had fallen, but luckily Lust caught himself.

"Horror?" Lust called from above. Horror tried to hide, but failed.

"Yes?" He asked sheepishly.

Lust furrowed his brows. "Were you watching me the whole time?"

Horror blushed. "No." He whispered. Lust looked at him skeptically. "Maybe." He fiddled with his fingers.

Lust laughed and smiled. He brought another skeleton sized heart down next to Horror. Horror looked up at Lust confusedly. "Get on." Lust encouraged him. Horror hesitantly got on, though he wasn't very steady and fell a couple of times. Thankfully Lust was always there to catch him.

He finally arrived at Lust's heart, which had doubled in size to be able to carry the both of them. They sat down. "Did you like the show?" Lust asked sheepishly. Horror smiled. He laid a gentle kiss on Lust's forehead. "Of course." He said sincerely. Lust beamed.

"Sans?" The original Frisk asked.

Classic nodded towards them to show that he was listening. "Can you make me another heart?" They asked. Classic smiled and nodded. He proceeded to cut out another large heart made out of bright pink colored paper and handed it to the Frisk.

"Yay!" Frisk exclaimed and went back to making Valentine's Day cards with their friends. Red smiled sadly.

Classic put his hand on Red's. He gave him a sympathetic smile. Red caressed Classic's cheek softy. "I love you."

Classic nodded. He wished he could say it back. He had tried so much to say it back. Maybe one day.

It was all calm and quiet. Sci was relaxing. He normally would not be relaxing, but he did in some ways agree with Farm that he would be a lot more attentive to what he was doing if he got proper rest.

Now he was simply staring at the door. Farm had not come yet, which was peculiar since in these past months he would not leave Sci for anything.

Part of him missed the other. Though the other part of him, the sensible part, was hoping he wouldn't come. These past months have been a bit of an emotional roller coaster for him, and it being Valentine's Day today would open up possibilities for all sorts of things.

Nevertheless he couldn't ignore the fact that he had developed feelings for the other, and so had Farm. Just then Farm teleported inside. Sci ducked under his desk to watch from afar.

Farm looked around. When he established that Sci wasn't there he sighed in relief. He had something behind his back.

It was an assortment of different kinds of fruit that were cut out and placed in such a way to look like a bouquet of flowers. It looked absolutely beautiful and delicious. Sci stared at it in awe as Farm placed it carefully on one of the tables that Sci had. He passed through the desk that Sci was behind, but before he could leave Sci popped out from behind.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

Farm blushed. "Umm-" he didn't know what to say. Sci looked towards the edible arrangement.

"Is that for me?" He asked. Farm nodded slowly. Sci curiosity went closer to have a better look at it. "Is it ALL fruit?" He asked Farm. Farm nodded proudly.

Sci kept on eyeing it. "You could eat it if you want. That's technically what it's for." Farm chuckled. This time it was Sci's turn to blush.

"Why did you get it for me?" Sci asked curiously.

"Umm- I just thought you should get something for all the work you do you know." Farm said sheepishly.

Sci smiled. "Of course." He muttered. A bit of a coincidence that it was Valentine's Day today. This was obviously a gesture for something else. 'Now or never.' He thought. He laid a gentle kiss on Farm's cheek. "I love you too." He whispered. Farm blushed even deeper as he processed what just happened.

After he got out of his shock Sci sat him down at the table. Farm looked at him confusedly. "What? Can't expect me to finish it all by myself can you?"

Farm chuckled and shook his head. Seems like everything went better than he expected.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Asked Geno. They were on the roof. Geno was steadily holding on to Reaper from his back.

"Don't worry I asked for permission from W." Reaper said calmly.

Geno looked down. "That's not exactly what I'm afraid of."

Reaper sighed. "Im not going to drop you." He said. Geno took a deep breath as he held on even tighter. "Ready?" Reaper asked. Geno nodded slowly, but quickly regretted his decision.

Reaper's big, raven black wings expanded, as he flew off of the roof and into the air. He didn't flap and opted to gliding for Geno's sake. Geno was holding on for dear life at this point, but he started to get used to the feeling.

"You can flap if you want." He said quietly. Reaper looked back at Geno's scared face and nodded. He gently flapped. It brought them a little higher into the air.

Geno looked at the sunset in awe. He gasped, forgetting that he was high above the ground. Reaper smiled.

Nightmare was sat alone in front of the tombstone. He had been there all day. Now he was watching Reaper and presumably Geno that was on his back as they flew calmly above the ground. 'At least they are having fun.' He thought.

He didn't know where Cross was, but part of him was afraid of what he was doing. He had thought about getting him something today, but that felt wrong. He did it on Christmas, but that was different.

Dream had probably already introduced Cross to the traditions of Valentine's Day, but the question still stayed. Would Cross ask?

Dream had probably encouraged him to ask. Nightmare sighed. "It was only a matter of time anyways." He said aloud as he thought about what he may say if Cross did ask the question.

Only a few moments later Cross sat down. Nightmare tensed up, but tried to stay calm. They stayed quiet. "Nightmare." Cross called out after a few minutes of silence. 'Here we go' he thought.

Nightmare turned to face him. Cross took out a bouquet of flowers. They were beautifully displayed with a little bow to tie them all together. He handed them to Nightmare.

They both blushed. "Dream told me I should." Cross muttered. Nightmare smiled sadly. He sighed. Cross was about to say something, but Nightmare put a finger on his mouth.

"Look. Cross."
