Dream followed Nightmare out of the room. "Dream where are you going?" Asked Geno.

"Don't worry I'm just going to check on Nightmare." Answered Dream.

Nightmare was in the bathroom. He was shaking and trebling. Black and cyan goo dripping down his skull. "Ohh my are you okay brother?" Asked Dream.

Nightmare turned to look at him, tears in his eyes. He grunted then the goo disappeared. "Corrupted wants to meet him. I told you this was dangerous." Said Nightmare.

Dream sighed. "Maybe if you just introduce yourself he will understand if you explai-" Dream was cut off.

"No." Nightmare snapped. He was shocked at himself for being so loud. "I mean no." He said a bit calmer.

"If I meet him Corrupted will want to meet him even more, and I don't want that." Nightmare started crying again.

Dream hugged him. Nightmare wiped his tears. "It's okay, I'm okay. I just....I'm
not used to pushing him away. I just need to get used to it." He said with a sad chuckle.

Dream nodded. "Fine I'll introduce myself then. I don't know Corrupted will probably want to meet him still, but I guess I'll just tell him to wait." Nightmare said.

Dream smiled. "Has shattered tried to come out?" Asked Nightmare.

"Yeah, he wanted to see Ink and also Cross, but I said I could just ask if Ink could come with us tonight." Explained Dream.

Nightmare nodded. He froze and Dream noticed. He grabbed his hand. "Come on." Said Dream. They walked outside and went into the art room.

Nightmare took a deep breath and walked up to Cross. "Hi Cross I'm Nightmare." He said happily. Cross smiled at him.

"Nice to meet you." Cross said quietly. Nightmare nodded awkwardly, and went back to sit down. Dream smiled at the both of them.

They had to finish painting and put away their supplies a little while after. Geno took them back to the Cafeteria to each lunch.

"So have you have a new skeleton in your group?" Asked the skeleton sitting next to Nightmare. He had a white shirt with a blue hoodie on top. He had blue shoes and black shorts on. His hood was on his head, but it still didn't hide his blue, red and purple eyes.

Nightmare nodded. "Did you meet him?" The skeleton asked again.

"No I just ignored him and he ignored me." Said Nightmare, his voice coated with sarcasm.

"Actually that sounds like what you would actually do." Said the skeleton.

Nightmare rolled his eyes. "Dream told me to introduce myself so I did." Muttered Nightmare.

The skeleton was impressed. "Really? You rarely ever talk to ANYONE that you don't know." He said.

"Ehh he seemed scared I guess." Said Nightmare.

"Well did you get his name?" Asked the skeleton.

"Cross." Replied Nightmare. The skeleton nodded.

Genos group was in the library. Geno was sitting in a chair next to the door just in case anyone needed him.

"Hey Geno." Said Epic. There was another skeleton next to him. He had a white shirt with a blue sweater on top. He had light pink shoes and black shorts with white lines going down the sides. He looked tired.

"Hey Epic." Said Geno.

"I just came to drop of Classic." Classic walked in to the library.

"Thanks Epic." Said Geno. Classic walked to a table that Blue was sitting at.

"Hey Classic!" Yelled Blue. Classic put a finger to his mouth. "Sorry, I forgot." He said sheepishly.

Classic smiled warmly. "Would you like me to read to you?" Blue asked in a quiet voice. Classic nodded. Blue started reading aloud to the both of them.

Nightmare was sitting with Lust in a small pit that was lined with pillows. He was laying comfortably and reading a book. Lust was a couple feet away from him laying down on some more pillows.

Dream and Cross were reading together at another table near the pit.

Cross spotted Classic and started reading slower and slower until he stopped. Dream turned to look at what Cross was staring at. "Ohh that's Classic." Said Dream.

Cross turned to look at Dream with a confused look. "He is in our group too." Explained Dream.

"Why wasn't he here earlier?" Cross asked.

Dream thought for a while. "Ohh he must have been in the white room he is usually there when he's not with us." Dream explained.

Cross froze. He didn't know what this 'white room' meant, but he didn't think it was anything good.

"Don't worry the white room is only sometimes a bad thing when people are going to cause harm to themselves or others, but Classic, Outer, Azylum and Blue just go there to calm down." Said Dream.

This room seemed kinda calm now that Dream explained it like that. They continued reading. They only had a couple more minutes before it was time for dinner.

"So are you liking the hospital?" Asked Dream. Cross nodded.

"That's good." A burning question was eating at Dream. "Do you remember where you were before this?" Asked Dream.

Cross froze. He looked scared.

"I'm sorry I wouldn't hav-" Dream was cut off.

"No it's okay. I honestly don't know they would never tell me. They would just treat me like an animal." Said Cross.

"Ohh my that's awful." Said Dream with a concerted look.

"Yeah, but at least I'm here now." Said Cross trying to be optimistic.

"Do you know why you were transferred here?" Asked Lust.

Cross thought for a while. He looked to his side. Chara just shrugged. "I'm not sure." Replied Cross.

Lust nodded in understanding. "No one really ever knows." Said Ink. They all agreed.

"Though it does make you wonder why all the people that come here are skeletons." Said Dream.

"Except the kids." Said Blue cheerfully. They all nodded.

'There're children here?' Asked Chara. Cross shrugged. Chara disappeared.

"What do we do after dinner?" Asked Cross. He didn't see Geno anywhere.

"It's pretty much just free time until 10:00." Said Lust.

Cross checked the clock on the wall. It read 6:00. "So we can do whatever we want?" Asked Cross.

"Yeah pretty much." Responded Lust.

Cross was shocked. That shock was soon replaced with excitement though. He had never been able to be free. He didn't remember much from before his last hospital, but he didn't remember a time when things were peaceful or calm.

He had never even seen the outside. "Can I go outside?" Asked Cross excitedly.

Dream smiled at his enthusiasm. "Yeah. You can either go to the backyard which has flowers and plants, or you could go to the front yard which has a playground." Said Ink.

Cross was filled with more and more excitement with ever word Ink said.

Cross was ecstatic. He ran to the main hall and to where Dream said the exit was. He took a deep breath in and opened the doors.

The outside was absolutely beautiful. The stars and moon were shining brightly over the grass and playground.

He was basking in the light. Then he saw a figure in the distance. He recognized it as Nightmare. He was in a corner of the field staring at what seemed to be the gate around the hospital.

As Cross got closer though he realized that Nightmare was looking at a tombstone. He tried to quietly sneak up to get a closer look, but accidentally slipped on a rock.

Nightmare looked back to look at him. "Sorry I just wanted to- I- uhhh sorry I-I'll leave." Cross stuttered.

Nightmare smiled calmly. "Don't worry, I get it. Most new people are usually pretty curious about the tombstone." Said Nightmare with a chuckle.

Cross felt a little bit more comfortable. Nightmare tapped the space besides him, signaling to Cross to sit. Cross slowly walked closer and sat down next to him.

"Do you like the night as well?" Asked Nightmare.

"I have actually never been outside." Replied Cross sadly.

Nightmare frowned. "We'll do you like what you see?" Asked Nightmare.

"Yeah" Cross replied, the excitement and childishness coming back to his face. Nightmare smiled thinking that Cross reminded him of Dream.

'I want to meet him' demanded the voice in Nightmares head. "Later. I promise" muttered Nightmare.

"What?" Asked Cross.

"Nothing." Replied Nightmare quickly. Cross brushed it off and looked back up at the moon. 'You better let me soon' said the voice in Nightmares head.
