"I what?!" Yeonjun yelled.

"You have a crush on Choi Soobin." Niki pointed at him.

Yeonjun began looking at him weridly before bursting into laughter at the suggestion of him liking Soobin. "You're joking, right, Niki?" he chuckled, although his laughter seemed to have a hint of unease and fear rather than genuine amusement.

"Im not joking, Yeonjun hyung, I am serious." He said, rolling his eyes.

Yeonjun's laughter continued to bubble up from deep within him, unable to contain his "amusement" at his younger brother sayings. "You're hilarious! How could I possibly have feelings for Soobin? I'm not gay, and besides, I'm already in a relationship with Kara–" Before he could finish his thoughts, his words were abruptly interrupted.

"You sound scared." He nonchalantly spoke.

Instantly, after hearing those words, his laughter immediately stopped, and he turned his full attention to Niki, locking eyes with him as he anxiously asked, "...What do you mean?" His words were strained and hesitant.

Niki expressed his exasperation and annoyance by groaning, "Can you please stop denying your feelings? It's obvious that you have a crush on him, hyung! Just listen to the way you were laughing earlier! You were clearly nervous and afraid that I might be right!" He elaborated before resting his head on the table, feeling like he was the older one instead of Yeonjun.

Before Yeonjun could speak, Niki continued, "Were you not listening to your own words just a moment ago when you were literally expressing your feelings about being with him compared to being with Kara? You openly admitted that being in his presence brings you joy. On the other hand, when it came to describing your feelings towards Kara, all you could say was, 'I don't know?' You couldn't even say anything!" He raised his voice and hands in frustration.

"By the way, do you think you're a top or bottom? Personally, I think you're a top." He said casually.

Niki gazed up at his older brother, only to be met with a look of utter disgust on his face. "I have no idea who you think you are to speak to me in such a way, but let me make one thing clear: I am NOT gay, and I do not have any FEELINGS for him whatsoever! So please, just leave me alone!" Yeonjun exclaimed before storming off to his room and slamming the door shut behind him.

Niki sighed, "Don't come running back to me for help when you do realize you like him then." He said quietly.

Meanwhile.....

Yeonjun was sitting on his bed, rubbing his face in disbelief at the idea of him liking Soobin. Why would Niki think that he would like Soobin? Whatever he was saying was completely nonsense.

"Me liking Soobin? Pfft! Niki is not in his right mind." He scoffed.

The doorbell rings. It's Huening Kai.

Soobin turned the doorknob and swung open the door, revealing Huening standing on the other side. As their eyes locked, Soobin couldn't help but notice the shock on Huening's face, his jaw visibly dropping in a gasp. Confusion took over.

"Huening?"

He cleared his thoart, "Um, Hi Soobin, are you ready?" He said with a smile.

Confusion still took over, "Yeah, but are you okay?" He asked. He's never really seen him like this before.

"S-sorry, it's just that your outfit looks really nice today." Huening Kai shyly admitted. It's not his fault, though! Soobin's outfit looked really good today.

Soobin was wearing a loose-fitting white button-down shirt, with his sleeves casually rolled up to his elbows. His choice of bottoms included a pair of stylish long denim shorts that perfectly complemented his top. Not only that, he was wearing glasses. Huening Kai likes glasses. This only enhanced his overall appearance.

He needs to wear glasses more often. Huening thought as he continued to admire. "But let's go?" He offered his hand to Soobin.

Soobin hesitated for a second before reaching his hand to intertwine with Huening Kai's.

Huening Kai didn't notice it, though. He was just too excited for their date today.

As they walked towards the park, It was really pretty today. The vibrant blue sky stretched endlessly above them, leaving no sight of any clouds, while the sun beamed down warmly, casting a golden glow over everything in its path. It felt fresh. Prefect day. Nothing could go wrong.

Despite the pretty and sunny weather,  the heat started to become intense as they both continued walking. Hueing felt like he could melt in this weather, "Soob, it's really fucking hot, wanna get ice cream?" He suggested while moving both of his hands back and forth in a continuous motion in a attempt to cool down.

"Yes, please, let's go." Soobin agreed. He wasn't the only one who felt like he was gonna die in this weather. Why did the sun have to be fully out today? At least it wasn't pouring rain.

"How long are we gonna have to walk for?" Soobin asked. He was out of breath.

"It's only five minutes away." He responded

"Oh, thank god." Soobin said, causing Huening Kai to laugh.

Soobin felt like he had been walking for an eternity when he finally arrived at the ice cream shop after five long minutes.

As they walked through the doorway, a refreshing breeze washed over them, providing a welcome relief from the oppressive heat they had been enduring for what seemed like forever. Instantly they both sighed in relief.

"It feels so good in here." Soobin said. Huening Kai agreed.

"Anyways, let's get ice cream."

Fortunately, the store was empty except for themselves and the worker, allowing them to be able to quickly get their ice cream. Huening didn't even have to glance at the various flavor options available, as he already knew he would be choosing his favorite. Mint choco!

"Are you not gonna look, or are you gonna choose that nasty flavor you love?" Soobin teased, trying his hardest to hide his smile.

He immediately gasped, "Mint choco is not a nasty flavor! You just don't have taste buds." He told.

"It tastes like toothpaste and chocolate. How come you won't just eat that?" Soobin continued to tease the younger. Although it was a genuine question.

Huening rolled his eyes before changing the subject, "What are you getting?"

"Eggnog." He replied.

"What?! Eww, that's disgusting, and why do they have that right now? It's summer, not winter."

"Hey, don't be mean to my eggnog. It's yummy.

Huening Kai gave him a disgusting look.

Soobin burst out laughing, "I'm kidding! Obviously, I would never get eggnog, and um, I don't know why they have it when it's summer."

"Oh my god, I really thought you were gonna get it." He sighed in relief. "But what are you gonna get?"

Soobin looked at the flavors for a second before answering, "I'll just get vanilla."

"Basic."

Before Soobin had the chance to respond, the employee's approached them, "I apologize for the wait. What can I get you two today?" He asked politely with a smile.

As soon as Soobin heard the employee's voice, a sudden chill shot down his spine, and that voice sounded too much like someone.

As Soobin cautiously raised his gaze to meet the employee's eyes, a mixture of relief and a tinge of disappointment washed over him.

Soobin must have not realized how long he had been staring at the worker as he caught sight of the strange look being directed his way. "S-sorry, I zoned out." He awkwardly said.

"Oh, no worries, but what is it that you two gentlemen would like today?"

"I'll have mint choco, and he'll have vanilla." Huening Kai responded.

"Okay, coming right up."

When the employee turned around to get the cones. Huening instantly whispered to Soobin, "Are you alright?"

Soobin looked at him, "Yeah, I just miss Yeon– I mean my mom."

"Your mom?" Confusion was on Huening's face.

"Yeah, you know? Because she's at work right now." Soobin mentally face palm himself

"Oh, she'll probably be home by the time we go home."

"Right."

"Here are your guys' ice cream. Will you be paying cash or a card?" The worker handed them their ice creams.

"Card." Soobin took out his wallet.

"Okay, your total today is $9.85 cents."

The two had settled onto a wooden bench, eating their yummy treats,"Hey, didn't that ice cream worker look like Yeonjun?" Asked Huening Kai between mouthfuls of his ice cream.

Soobin paused, "Absolutely not! He didn't look like him at all. Yeonjun has wide lips, not thin lips, and he has pretty monolids, not doe eyes." Soobin explained.

"... Oh? I guess." Huening Kai was speechless. "Anyways, are you ready to get going? It's five."

"Yeah."
