The moment Soobin heard his name reach his ears, an overwhelming surge of nerves washed over him. His eyes darted towards Choi Yeonjun, who stood before him with crossed arms and a confused look on his face.

"Why are you here?" Yeonjun asked, confused?

"I-i" think soobin think! "I have a date!"

Yeonjun raised a brow, "You're on a date?"

"Um, yep! But I kind of gotta go back to them to please move." Soobin said and gently pushed Yeonjun out of the way.

Soobin quickly exited the bathroom, with Yeonjun trailing closely behind him. In a swift motion, Soobin's eyes swept through the entire café, searching for anyone who was by themselves. He knew that he had to avoid returning to Taehyun and Beomgyu, especially after he had just told Yeonjun that he was on a date.

As Soobin glanced around the room for a considerable amount of time, his eyes caught sight of an individual with black hair, eating mint chocolate ice cream. Instantly, Soobin went up to him and sat next to him.

"Um, why are you sitting here." The random guy said.

Soobin sighs, "Long story short, I kind of need a date right now, so be my date."

"Um, what?"

"Just be my date for right now, okay?"

As Soobin was sitting next to the random guy. Yeonjun went back to Kara.

"Hey, your brother is here right now." Yeonjun told.

"What?" Kara said, dropping her spoon. "Really? Where?"

"There." He points to Soobin and the stranger talking.

"Let's go up to them."

And with that, the two went up to Soobin and the stranger.

"Fuck there coming, act like you love me." Soobin explained.

Yeonjun and Kara approached Soobin and the unfamiliar individual, which immediately triggered a surge of nervousness within Soobin.

"Soobin, I didn't know you were going on a date. Why didn't you tell me you were in to.......men." She gives the stranger a look.

Soobin chuckled nervously, "Ha, sis, you're funny. But um, yeah, this is my date...date..."

"Huening Kai." The stranger interrupts Soobin.

"Yep Kara, this is my date, Huening kai." Soobin said.

Hueningkai was savoring every bite of his delicious ice cream when, unexpectedly, Soobin snatched it away and carelessly plopped it onto the plate, completely ruining the once perfect treat. However, in a surprising turn of events, Soobin immediately reached out and entwined his hand with Hueningkai's.

"I was still eating that." Hueningkai whispered.

"Well, Soobin, we should have a double date then-" Kara gasps. "Taehyun and Beomie are on a date too?"

Beomgyu and Taehyun instantly turned their head around, seeing how they were now caught too.

"N-no Kara, me and Hyun are not dating. We are just here on a friend d-date." Beomgyu face started heating up.

"Oh well, we should all sit together."

As fate would have it, they all ended up gathering in the same place. Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Kara were quite comfortable with each other's company, effortlessly enjoying their time together. However, the remaining three individuals seemed perplexed by this unexpected turn of events. Yeonjun, in particular, found  this weird. Why the hell were they all there on the same day? That couldn't be a coincidence.

Soobin was just really nervous with everything and tried his best to remain calm while still holding Huenings hand.

Huening was genuinely curious about the reason he needs to be Soobins "date" and above all, his biggest concern was if he was gonna get a new ice cream or not. He paid $5 for that.

"Yeonjun, you okay, you seem to be zoning out." Kara asked, seeing Yeonjun zoning out while petting the bunny in his hand.

"Oh yeah, I'm okay."

"Sooo, Hueningkai." Kara said.

"Yeah?"

"What is it exactly that you like about my little brother here." She asked, her hands resting on the table. Giving the man a serious look.

"Well-- well, I like his personality." Hueningkai explained.

"Hmm, I need a better answer than that. He's my little brother, you know. I gotta make sure that you're the right one for him."

Soobin scoffed

"What?" Kara asked.

"Hm, nothing."

Huening laughed nervously, "I-- I like his smile? And the way he is very sweet to me?"

Gosh, why do I have to deal with this right now. Huening thought.

This time, Kara scoffed, "He is not nice at all."

Time skip.

As the group of people were preparing to leave, Huening Kai politely requested to excuse himself and Soobin from the gathering in order to have a conversation in the restroom.

"What was the whole reason for that?" Huening asked.

Soobim chuckled nervously, "Well..."

Huening's confusion was apparent as he observed Soobin's struggle with his thoughts. With an encouraging expression on his face, Huening silently urged Soobin to persevere and share what he had intended to say.

"Well?"

"Well, basically, my sister has really, really bad taste in men, and the guy Yeonjun isn't the best man for her, which I KNOW he isn't! So then I've been kind of trying to sabotage them with a plan so they can break up so my sister can find a better man. And what I did was I spy on them on a date so that I could see Kara break up with him, but...that didn't work out. And I was caught by Yeonjun, so that's why I went up to you so they would suspect a thing.." Soobin blurted out.

"Wait, so basically, you pretend to be my date so that you wouldn't get caught with the plan you were doing?" Hueningkai asked.

Soobin was completely taken aback by the fact that Hueningkai had actually paid attention to every single word he had said. He hadn't anticipated that Hueningkai would be so good at listening, and as a result, he ended up blurting out far more information than he had intended to share.

"Holy shit you actually listen to the whole thing?"

Hueningkai nodded, "So um, anyways, are you gonna buy me my ice cream or?"

"Oh yeah what flavor?"

"Mint choco."

"Ew"

"What?"

"Nothing."

"MOM!" Kara yelled.

"What?!" She yelled back.

Soobin covered Kara's mouth, "I swear to god if you tell mom I'll actually kill you."

"Mom! Soobin is trying to kill me." She muffled.

Upon entering the living room, the mother's eyes met the sight of Soobin's hand firmly covering Kara's mouth. Filled with a mix of concern and frustration, she raised her voice, urging the two to get rid of their childish and immature behavior immediately.

"What the fuck you guys? Are you guys twelve?" She sighs.

"Anyway, Kara, tell me what you were gonna say."

Soobin and Kara look at each other.

"Soobin went on a date with someone."

Fuck, Soobin thought.

Soobin gazed hesitantly at his mother, observing her reaction as she gasped in utter shock. "How come you never told me?"

"Well, it was sort of last minute?"

"I thought you were straight. You literally told me you were this morning." Kara laughed.

"Shut up." Soobin said.

"Soobin, you should let me meet him."

Hell no! How was he even supposed to find that guy again?! He didn't even ask for his number. Why should he anyways it was an act! Absolutely not! There was no way he was going to introduce him to his mother. The mere thought of trying to locate Hueningkai again seemed daunting. Besides, he never even bothered to ask for his contact information. There was no reason to do so anyway since it was all just an act!

"Ha, maybe."
