As Yeonjun observed Soobin, he noticed the man displaying aggressive behavior towards him. Concerned for Soobin, Yeonjun cautiously moved closer to them. Just as he witnessed the man attempting to punch Soobin, Yeonjun swiftly intervened, swiftly seizing the man's wrist to prevent any harm from befalling his friend.

"Yeonjun?"

Yeonjun's gaze shifted from Soobin to the intoxicated man, his grip on his arm remaining firm. The entire crowd's attention was now fixated on the four of them, curious about the unfolding situation. In the midst of the commotion, Beomgyu and Taehyun rushed over to Soobin, asking if he was okay.

Meanwhile, even Enhypen, who had been in the middle of their performance, stopped their music in order to see what was going on.

"I think you should leave right now before I beat you." Yeonjun said, As his eyes grew darker, a raging fury began to course through his veins, causing his blood to boil with an overwhelming sense of anger.

Upon witnessing the situation, the bodyguards escorted the intoxicated man out of the wedding, ensuring the safety and well-being of the rest of the attendees. Following the incident, they reassured everyone to simply carry on and enjoy themselves without any concerns or interruptions.

"Yeonjun?" Soobin said again.

In that moment, Yeonjun's gaze shifted towards Soobin, his facial expression turned soft while looking at Soobin. "Soobin, are you okay?"

Soobin felt something in his stomach when Yeonjun asked him that. But he stood still, not being able to process a single word.

Soobin heard another person call out his name. He turned to see who it was, and when he saw him, he gasped.

"Soobin, are you okay?" The man said, running up to him.

"Huening kai?" Soobin said.

Huening Kai pulled Soobin along, leaving Yeonjun behind. Soobin, unsure of what to do, simply followed Huening Kai. As Yeonjun watched the two walk away, a wave of sadness washed over him. Soobin just left him for that guy.

"Yeonjun? Are you okay?" Kara asked.

He turned to look at her, "Yeah, I'm fine."

"Huening Kai, what are you doing here?" Soobin asked.

"I should be asking you that? But anyways this is my sisters wedding." Huening explained.

Soobin gasped, "Oh my god, this was your sister wedding? Im so sorry for making a scene."

"Soobin, it's fine, I'm just worried about you! Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm okay. It was just a little surprising, I guess." Soobin responded.

"Let's get going back?"

Soobin nodded, and with that, they left.

As they left, they made their way back to the rest of the group. Soobin's attention was caught by the sight of Yeonjun gazing at him, his expression filled with genuine worry. Soobin felt his heart skip a beat but still couldn't process the feeling in his stomach.

Before Yeonjun could ask him if he was okay, Kara talked, "Hey, you're Huening Kai, right?"

"Uh yeah?"

"My mom wants to me you! Wanna go and meet her?" She asked.

As Kara said that Taehyun went closer to beomgyu and whispered. "So are we just gonna completely ignore what just happened a few minutes ago?" Beomgyu shrugged.

"Uh." Huening looked at Soobin then back at Kara, "Uhh... sure, I would love to your guys mom." He smiled awkwardly.

"Great, let's go today!" She said.

"Wait, what?" Soobin and Huening said at the same time.

After saying their goodbyes to Yeonjun's younger brother's group, they all made their way back to the house. Upon entering, they were greeted by Mrs. Choi, who glanced at the assembled group and immediately spotted Huening Kai.

"Soobin and Kara, who is this young man right here?" She asked.

Soobin looked at Kara while Kara motioned for him to talk. "Um, mom, so you know the guy I told you about? Well, this is him."

She gasped, "No way! I'm so happy that you're here! Hi, I'm Mrs. Choi, but just call me mom."

Huening Kai awkwardly smiled, "Hi Mrs. Cho- I mean mom, I'm Huening Kai." He bowed.

"Aww, you're so cute! Soobin, you picked a good one." She said.

"Mom!" Soobin yelled.

"What? Anyways, it was really nice meeting you, Huening Kai." She said.

"I'll get going now." He bowed and got ready to leave.

"Lemme walk you to your car." Soobin said.

Soobin accompanied Huening Kai all the way to his car, even though he hadn't initially intended to join him. However, there was something important he needed to discuss with Huening Kai.

"I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry for getting you in this mess. Now my mom really thinks you're my boyfriend or something like that." Soobin said while Huening just nodded.

"It's fine, just tell your mom that we are friends and that you aren't ready for a relationship. That should clear up everything."

"Yeah, I'll do that. Wait." Soobin stops walking, and Huening Kai looks at him. "Are you even gay? I'm so sorry if you're not. I had to force you to be my date."

Huening Kai laughed, "It's okay, I'm gay. What about you?"

"Actually, I'm straight. You were just the first person I saw at the cafe, so I went up to you." Soobin explained, rubbing his nape.

"Ahh, I see."

As they walked in complete silence, steadily approaching Huening Kai's car, they eventually found themselves standing before it, momentarily pausing to take in the sight before them.

"I need your number." They both say at the same time before laughing a bit.

Huening Kai chuckled, "We should hang out more."

Soobin nodded, "Yeah, you would love my friends."

"Taehyun and Beomgyu, right?" Huening asked.

"Yup."

They made sure to swap phone numbers before Huening Kai hopped into his car, marking the end of their encounter.

As Soobin stood there, his eyes fixated on Huenings car slowly disappearing into the distance. It was at that moment when he suddenly heard the familiar sound of another car starting up. He spun around, only to find Yeonjun standing by his own vehicle, preparing to leave as well.

Without any conscious thought or understanding, Soobin found himself instinctively drawn towards Yeonjun, as if some invisible force was compelling him to approach. It was as if his own feet were acting on their own accord, guiding him towards Yeonjun.

"Yeonjun, wait!" Soobin yelled and ran up to him.

Yeonjun turned around seeing the bunny boy run up to him, "What?"

"I didn't get to thank you for helping me early. So thank you........hyung."

The utterance of the word "hyung" by Soobin had an effect on Yeonjun, triggering a sensation within his stomach, leaving him feeling uneasy. Yet, he found himself strangely drawn to this unfamiliar feeling. In all his encounters with others addressing him as "hyung," never had he experienced such a perplexing mix of emotions.

"Hyung, you okay?" Soobin asked.

Without thinking, he pulled Soobin into a hug. He was taken aback by the suddenness of the gesture and couldn't help but widen his eyes in surprise. However, his initial shock quickly disappeared, and he reciprocated the hug without a moment's hesitation.

In that moment, as Yeonjun's arms wrapped around his waist, Soobin couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and comfort that he had never experienced before. It was as if all his previous dislike to physical affection had vanished, replaced by an overwhelming sense of security and belonging that only Yeonjun's embrace could provide.

"I'm just glad you're okay." Yeonjun said and continued holding Soobin in his arms.

As the door swung open, both of them swiftly distanced themselves from each other, hastily spinning around to find Kara standing in the doorway. "Yeonjun, you're still here?"

"I just had to thank him from early. That's why he hasn't gone yet, but I'll get going now. Bye, Yeonjun." He waved, showing off his cute bunny smile.

"Bye." Yeonjun smiled.

Kara waited for Soobin to close the door and went straight in to hug Yeonjun.

While embracing Kara, Yeonjun couldn't help but remember about the warmth and comfort he had experienced in Soobin's embrace. The way Soobin had reciprocated his hug had left a lingering sense of warmth within him, a feeling that Kara's hug failed to give.

Yeonjun pulled away, "I'll get going now, okay?"

"Okay, bye. I love you." She smiled.

"Love you too." Yeonjun smiled and left.
