Shopping, Shopping, And More Shopping - Part 16

(Y/N) POV:

The wedding date was slowly getting closer. You and Ricky had decided that Halloween would be a fun date to have the wedding on, plus it gave you a little extra time to plan. Halloween was roughly a little over a month away and tomorrow was the day that you were going wedding dress shopping. However there was one problem to this, you had no one to go with.

You didn't have any family and you clearly didn't have any friend other than Ricky and the guys, and well Ricky can't see you in the dress soooo you went with your best option. Chris and Vinny were free tomorrow and accepted your offer of taking them with you to the dress shop. Tomorrow was going to be interesting to say the least.

Currently you were laying in bed with a passed out Ricky next to you. It was 3 am and you once again couldn't sleep. You didn't have to be up super early for dress shopping but it would be nice to get some rest, after all it was kind of hard to get good sleep with the lingering head injury you still had.

You laid next to Ricky with his arms around you. It was cute how he continued to protect you in his sleep even if it wasn't his intention. His small breathing could be heard in the pitch black silent room. You sighed and opened your eyes only to see the small street light through the blinds that were covering the window.

You started to feel Ricky shift in his sleep. He went to pull his arm away from you but before he could you grabbed it back and wrapped your arms around his. You liked the way his arms felt around you, it made you feel safe especially when you couldn't sleep or something was stressing you out.

Ricky started to shift in his sleep more before waking up. He went to sit up but the death grip you had on his arm just made him fall back down to the bed when he tried.

"Sorry....." You mumbled softly and let go of his arm. Ricky sat up slowly as you flipped onto your other side and looked up at him.

"Cant sleep?" You questioned softly wondering why he was now up.

"Yeah...." He sighed and you could tell that something was wrong. Maybe he had a bad dream or something? You sat up and put a hand on his back.

"Everything okay?" Hopefully he would tell you if something was bothering him.

"Yeah I was just overthinking that's all...." He looked down and played with the blanket you were both cuddled under.

"Well...." You laid back down and patted the bed next to you, wanting him to lay with you. "What's got you over thinking?" Ricky reluctantly laid down next to you and looked into your eyes.

"Look I know this sounds stupid and all but I'm just nervous about the wedding, I just want everything to work out and I especially don't want you to think that I would leave you at the alter or anything...." Did he really think that you thought he would just leave you at the altar? That was crazy! You knew he wouldn't do that.

"Ricky, baby......" You sighed and placed a hand on his cheek. "There's nothing you need to worry about, leave that for the bride to do." You laughed softly before giving him a quick kiss.

Ricky nodded and gave you a small smile in return. You knew that no matter what, this day was going to be the best day of your life, and you just wanted Ricky to feel the same way.

"Come on i've got dress shopping to do and you've got suit shopping with Ryan tomorrow so we need to get rest." You laughed and flipped back over as Ricky put his arm back around your waist. Tomorrow was definitely going to be interesting.

--------------------

"Ricky I've told you 5 times now, please make sure that you get a suit that is the same theme as everything else in the wedding." It was already 12 in the afternoon and you and Ricky had just barely gotten out of bed.

"Okay okay I promise." Ricky grabbed his keys and wallet, ready to meet Ryan to find him a suit. Ryan was going to be Ricky's best man, You still had no idea who was going to be your maid of honor but you were going to have to figure out something.

"Alright I'll see you when you get back home later." Ricky's voice broke you from your thoughts. You smiled and nodded as he walked over and gave you a small kiss before walking out to his car.

Chris and Vinny were supposed to come pick you up from the house shortly after Ricky left. You quickly fixed your hair and your clothes making sure that you looked good enough to go out into public. The bruise that was left over from the bottle incident was slowly healing and you were definitely grateful for that.

You looked over at your phone as you heard it buzz, of course it was Chris telling you that he was there to pick you up. As he waited in the driveway, you grabbed your phone and bag before walking out to meet the two other boys.

"Hey." You got into the car as Chris and Vinny both greeted you. Maybe going dress shopping with them wouldn't be so bad after all.

Ricky's POV:

I pulled into the suit shop and got out of my car. Hopefully Ryan was already here so I could get this done and over with. I was extremely excited to get married to (Y/N) but what if something went wrong? What if I got the wrong suit? What if she walked out on the wedding day. With my head spinning with thoughts, I walked into the shop.

The shop was filled with a ton of different suits. This was going to be way harder than I thought. As I looked around the shop, I spotted Ryan just sitting alone by the dressing rooms.

"Hey." he looked up from his phone and smiled at me.

"Hey! Are you ready to find a suit?" He laughed and stood up nudging my arm a bit.

"Yeah I guess so..." I laughed and started to look at the options that I had. "She said she wanted me to stay on theme." I could hear Ryan laugh as I looked at all the different options.

"That's how women will be." No shit Ryan. I walked over to a suit that I thought could be a good contender for the final suit. I picked up the suit and handed it over to Ryan.

"What about that one?" I listened for his response as I continued to browse throughout the store.

"It's nice....hey what about that one?" Ryan pointed to another nice suit. I picked it up and examined it for a minute. Both of the suits would definitely go with the theme, now it was up to if they looked nice on me or not.

I grabbed the two suits from Ryan and made my way to the dressing room as he tried to find himself a suit, he was my best man after all. All of this wedding stuff was starting to stress me out, sure I was excited but I never even thought I would be in this situation.

I locked the dressing room door and took the clothes I was wearing off. I tried on the first suit and it fit nice and looked good, but there was just something to it that just seemed off. After looking at it more in the mirror, I decided against it. I took the first suit off and nicely put it back on the hanger.

Hopefully the second suit would fit so I didn't have to keep looking for suit after suit. I slowly pulled on the second suit and I could tell right away that It was better than the first. I looked in the mirror and immediately loved how it made me look. It was classy but yet it didn't make me look like I was going to a business meeting.

Before deciding I wanted to get Ryan's opinion and see what suit he picked out. I unlocked the door and walked out of the small cramped dressing room to find Ryan. Funny enough, Ryan and I walked out of our dressings rooms at the same time.

"That one looks really nice." Ryan looked at the both of us in the mirror. It was good to hear that he also thought it looked nice. I noticed that the suit he was wearing matched mine perfectly. Maybe this wasn't going to be as hard as I thought after all.

"I liked both of them." I smiled and looked into the big mirror again to look at how perfectly they matched.

"So did you ever figure out who's going to be (Y/N)'s maid of honor?" Ryan asked and I really didn't have an answer. I knew (Y/N) didn't have any family or friends so that was definitely going to be hard to find her one.

"I don't think she has....I mean she doesn't have family or really any friends." This definitely had to be hard on her. I had the guys and they were like brothers to me, but (Y/N) didn't have that.

"Eh just throw Vinny up there in a dress and I'm sure no one will know." Both me and Ryan laughed as we walked back into the dressing room to take the suits off so we could pay and go grab some lunch.

--------------------

(Y/N) POV:

"Please god just let this one look good." You sighed and mumbled, trying to put on yet another wedding dress. You had been at the dress shop for hours already and you still haven't found the perfect dress. Both Chris and Vinny continued to be supportive which you were very thankful for.

You pulled on the wedding dress that you had thought you loved from what it looked like in the plastic case. As you finally put it on correctly and took a look in the mirror, Your face lit up with happiness. This was the one, this was the perfect dress that you had been looking for all day. You slowly waddled your way out to where the 2 boys sat on the small couch and stood in front of them.

"Holy shit." You laughed as Vinny looked in awe at the dress. "That's the one." You smiled liking the reassurance that Vinny gave you.

"What do you guys think about this one?" You were nervous about what Ricky was going to think. However these were his best friends and they do know him best.

"He's going to love that one." Chris gave you a warm smile. He could tell that you loved this dress the most, and if he was being honest he loved it the most out of all the other ones you tried on. "I hope you know that I call dibs on walking you down the aisle." Chris pointed at you while he laughed at his comment.

"That's fine with me but then Vinny has to be my maid of honor" Vinny rolled his eyes at you but nodded agreeing. You didn't have anyone else so why not just have Vinny be the maid of honor. After all he did have long hair and would probably look fabulous in a dress.

"You're lucky I love Ricky enough to do this." He laughed still looking at the dress. "Also the dress looks amazing." He smiled warmly and took a picture of you as you struck a pose.

"Thank you now let me go take this off so we can pay and leave." The guys laughed as you walked back to the dressing room to take off and repackage the dress.

After managing to get your regular clothes back on and carry the big dress out of the dressing room, you noticed the time was already 6 pm! That was 6 hours of wedding dress shopping! You really wouldn't be surprised if your phone was blowing up with messages from Ricky.

--------------------

You carefully walked into the house with the big dress, hoping that Ricky wouldn't see it. It would be nice to follow the wedding tradition of the groom not seeing the dress until the wedding day.

"Hey babe are you home?" You heard Ricky's footsteps as he started to come to the front door.

"DON'T LOOK!" Ricky turned the corner and covered his face with his hands so he didn't see anything. You laughed after screaming at him and ran past where he was standing and into the bedroom. The dress was just small enough to fit so you quickly put it into the back of your closet where you could find it on the wedding day.

"OKAY YOU CAN LOOK!" You screamed through the house again walking back out to meet Ricky in the living room. It was nice to finally be back at home after such a long day of dress shopping.

"I missed you." He smiled and looked down at you, slowly putting his arms around your neck.

"I missed you too." You smiled and wrapped your arms around his torso. "Sorry it took me so long I couldn't find one that I liked and just ugh." Ricky smiled as you laid your head on his chest. You had waited all day to be able to see him, now hopefully he picked out a good suit.

"Hey don't worry about it, I know these things take time....did you ever find someone to be your maid of honor?" You listened to his heartbeat and nodded to reply to his question.

"Yeah I told Vinny that he didn't have a choice and he had to do it." Both you and Ricky laughed at this. Vinny was always down to help in any way he could, and this was just one thing you really needed help with. "Did you end up finding a suit?"

"Yeah I found one that works perfect with the theme!" Ricky could tell that this was a good answer as you let out a sigh of relief. Thank the lord. This really helped your stress levels die down a bit.

"Well why don't you go take a nice long bath while I order us some dinner and we can finish watching the show from last night." You looked up at Ricky and smiled, he always knew how to treat you the right way.

"Deal." You smiled and pulled away from the hug and walked off to the bathroom. Ricky watched as you walked away and could help but wonder what kind of dress you ended up getting. If he knew anything though, no matter what dress you got, it was going to look amazing on you. He could only hope that the suit he got would look just as amazing as your dress.
