The Three Warriors flew to Gotham City Police Headquarters where Batman and Robin were waiting for them.

"Three Warriors, we expect you know why Batman and Robin are here" said Commissioner Gordon.

"Yes, Commissioner. We viewed the entire affair" said Calvin.

"Were you able to find any evidence as to who the criminal was?" said Batman.

"No, Batman. But we did bring this bullet" said Calvin.

"Sam tried to shoot the crook, but nothing happened. The bullets just bounced right off their costume" said Charles Wallace.

"Holy trampoline. A bulletproof costume?" said Robin.

"Sure. And one of my bullets bonked Cathy Lane Hudson's noggin. Her husband seemed so worried about her, he actually talked to me" said Sam.

"Oh?" said Batman.

"Yeah, but we all know that it's because he had a beer in front of him" said Charles Wallace.

"Alright. So we know the bullets are useless for evidence" said Robin.

"Not quite, Robin. It might have caught some material in the outfit. Meantime, let's ponder the crook's motive" said Batman.

"Paul McCartney's new fiancee. That's the motive" said Sam.

"McCartney is engaged?" said Commissioner Gordon.

"Yup. He proposed to her through a song and right after he did, the whole crime started" said Sam.

"Mother McGillicutty! The criminal kidnapped his fiancee?" said Chief O'Hara.

"You betcha. A certain Ms Victoria Gelt Gibson" said Calvin.

"The former wife of my brother-in-law" finished Charles Wallace.

"But why? Why on earth would a criminal attack a woman who has just gotten engaged?" said Commissioner Gordon.

"That's what I'd like to know" said Sam.

"What I'd like to know, Warriors, is who on earth this crook is. We're up against a blank wall" said Chief O'Hara.

"We know about the exploding cake, and I had the commissioner check the location of the Riddler" said Batman.

"Indeed you did, Batman, but the Riddler is in prison. It wasn't him" said Commissioner Gordon.

"Hmm. Who else could it be? We don't even have any leads" said Calvin.

"Indeed, Calvin. No leads. And what do we do in such a case?" said Batman.

"Make one!" said Sam.

"Make a lead?" said Chief O'Hara.

"In heaven's name, Sam, how?" said Commissioner Gordon.

"Batman will think of something" said Sam.

"I don't think we need another lead. All we really need is to investigate the evidence we've found and uncover the crook's identity" said Batman.

"Sure! So while Batman and I investigate this bullet, you guys head back to Actorville and look for more evidence" said Robin.

"Sure thing!" said the Warriors before leaving.

Batman and Robin then headed back to the Batcave to investigate Sam's bullet.
