When Chad got out of the hospital, Meg was wheeling him home in a wheelchair with Jeremy behind them.

The Three Warriors saw them come into the apartment building.

"Hi, guys. Where's Batman and Robin?" said Meg.

"They're telling Commissioner Gordon what we've found. How was the operation, Chad?" said Sam.

"Successful, I s'pose. But aside from painfully getting into bed in the operating room, I slept the whole time" said Chad.

"That's a good way to spend an operation. Then it seems painless" said Sam.

"Yes, but if only the recovery were painless. I'm not gonna enjoy having a hard time going up and downstairs" said Chad.

"Don't worry about it. We fixed that" said Calvin.

"You did?" said Meg.

"We sure did! Check it out" said Charles Wallace.

The kids showed Chad the ramp they set up on the stairs.

"Kids, what did you do?" said Jeremy with a smile.

"Well, it wasn't easy" said Sam.

"How did you even do it?" said Meg.

"What difference does it make how they did it? The point is they did it" said Jeremy.

"And now Chad can go up and down stairs with no trouble at all" said Charles Wallace.

"Oh, thank you, kids" Chad cooed. 

He opened his arms and gave each of the Warriors a hug. 

"But are you sure falling down the stairs and getting your ligament torn didn't make you afraid of stairs?" said Charles Wallace.

"Of course not, Charles; that's silly" said Chad.

"Yes... and what's even sillier is I think the Warriors may be right about the staircase moving" said Jeremy.

"Why?" said Meg.

"Look" said Jeremy.

The kids looked down and saw scratch marks on the floor leading to and ending at the stairs.

"Oh dear. How could a staircase just slide backwards?" said Chad.

"I dunno. But I'm starting to sense that our lady crook was a part of it. Chad fell down the stairs right after Jill got kidnapped" said Calvin.

"So you think we're dealing with a magic crook?" said Sam.

"Maybe" said Calvin.

"Better get Batman quick" said Charles Wallace.

"Wait wait wait. We need to see if our stair ramp works" said Sam.

"Oh yes. Give us a push, Jeremy" said Chad.

Jeremy grabbed the wheelchair's handles and pushed Chad up the stairs. 

The ramp worked perfectly and Chad made it up in less than ten seconds.

"It works!" said Chad.

"The Three Warriors do it again! And now you have to do more to rescue Jill" said Jeremy. 

"Hey, Jeremy's right. Let's get back to Gotham City ASAP" said Sam.
