Two years ago, I met someone online that lived in Europe. Her name is Y/n and I've never met her in person. We've FaceTimed a lot and we're actually dating.

"What if you get catfished? You've been dating this girl for 2 years, you send her money more than three times, and you bought her a one-way plane ticket to America." Dixie says.

"She needed the money for her eye surgery. The other times I sent her money because she was stressed because she couldn't help her parents pay their bills. She didn't ask for it and she showed me that some of her bills were last due." I say.

"They can't be a catfish." I say.

"Okay... I guess." Dixie says.

"Flight 2946 from London to California has just arrived." The man on the intercom says.

"That's her flight." I say.

"It could be a he; his flight." She says.

"You're right. Y/n doesn't like labels or disclosing her sexuality." I say.

"Ugh." She says rolling her eyes.

I see a group of people come down an escalator and I see Y/n get off.

"Y/n!" I shout running to her.

Y/n does look a little different but it's just her eyes. One is a different color, I guess they're different because of her eye surgery.

Y/n smiles and hugs me tightly.

I had always thought she was too good for America but I guess I was wrong. Which is good, because I don't think I could leave my family to go to her.

I love my hometown as much as Motown, I love SoCal

She's not wearing any fancy clothes either. She's a regular teenager.

And you know I love Springsteen, faded blue jeans,

"I can't believe you're real." I say.

Y/n laughs and I smile.

But something happened, I heard him laughing

"My god, you look even more beautiful in person." Y/n says.

I saw the dimples first and then I heard the accent

I kiss her and she smiles.

They say home is where the heart is

I hear Dixie cough and I roll my eyes.

"Y/n, this is Dixie, my older sister. Dixie, this is Y/n, my girlfriend." I say.

"I do hugs." Y/n says pushing Dixie's hand away.

Dixie smiles and they hug.

"I got you a gift to thank you for everything you've for done for me. I know it's not much." Y/n says.

Y/n hands me a jewelry box and I open it. I see a necklace and I hug her.

"Thank you." I say.

But that's not where mine lives

"Here you go, my love." Y/n says handing me a cup of Dunkin.

I smile and kiss Y/n's cheek.

"Is America really different from Europe?" I ask.

"Yeah, I haven't even seen anything similar to the Camden Market." Y/n says.

I enjoy walking Camden Market in the afternoon

"That's because we aren't classy." I say mocking her accent.

Y/n laughs and I smile.

"I love your smile, it's so adorable." She says smiling.

He likes my American smile, like a child when our eyes meet

"Does that mean you like me?" I ask.

"I fancy you. Translation, I'm really attracted to you." She says.

I giggle and she smiles.

We walk down the street to the Hype House and the unlock the door.

"Hey, bitch." Larri says.

"Who is this hottie?" Larri asks.

Took me back to Highgate, met all of his best mates

"I'm Y/n." Y/n says with a smile.

How is she always happy?

Larri holds his hand out and Y/n hugs him.

"She's so adorable." He says smiling.

"Who?" Addison asks coming around the corner.

"Oh my god, she's so cute." Addison says hugging Y/n.

Addison whispers in Y/n's ear and Y/n looks uncomfortable.

"That's enough." I say pulling them apart.

"The rumors are true. You're a sucker for people from London." Addison says.

So I guess all the rumors are true

"I'm in love with her." I say holding Y/n's hand.

Y/n blushes and I smile.

"Aww." They say as we kiss.

"Have you got any tea?" Y/n asks as we all walk into the kitchen.

And now I love high tea, stories from Uni, and the West End

"Uh, yeah." Addison says opening the fridge.

Addison hands Y/n a bottle of tea and she looks confused.

"She doesn't drink bottled tea." Larri says as Y/n takes the cap off.

Y/n drinks the whole bottle and throws it away.

"That was hot." We all say.

Y/n winks at Larri and he blushes.

Y/n's View

"Do you guys have baseball in your country?" Dixie asks watching tv.

"She isn't from a different planet." Addison says.

"I used to play with my dad when I was younger." I say sitting next to her.

You can find me in the pub, we are watching rugby with his school friends

Charli stands behind me and puts her hands on my shoulders.

"You wanna go upstairs?" Charli whispers in my ear.

"Don't threaten me with a good time." I say.

Y/n gets up and I take her upstairs. I lock my door and Y/n takes her shirt off.

They say home is where the heart is

"Back out when you want to." I say as she lays down.

I lay next to her and she doesn't say anything.

"Y/n?" I ask.

I hear Y/n snore and I smile. I kiss her cheek and turn the light off.

But God, I love the English

I smile and Y/n kisses me.

"Open the door." Dixie says from outside my room.

"Go away!" I say as Y/n kisses my neck.

"No." Dixie says as Y/n gets off of me.

I sigh and open the door.

"Tell Y/n I picked her thing up." Dixie says handing me a box.

"What is it?" I ask.

"It's a secret." Y/n says as I give the box to her.

They wink at each other and Dixie leaves before closing the door.

"It's a gift for you, it costs a lot of money." Y/n says opening it.

"It doesn't need to be expensive." I say.

"My love, I have money now, thanks to you." She says taking the jewelry box out.

"So, my love, will you marry me?" She asks opening the jewelry box.

"Mhmm." I say nodding my head.

She laughs and gently rubs my back. She puts the ring on my finger and I kiss her.

Y/n holds my hand and I smile. The cashier hands the cup to Y/n and she gives it to me.
