From 5.05 "A Novel Approach", in the corridor of Eichen House, Dread Doctor 1 looked through the door toward Angel and Scott.

Adriana: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (Teen Wolf)"

From 5.05 "A Novel Approach", in the school hallway, Lydia, Ari and Adriana were walking together, looking at the Dread Doctors book.

Lydia: (voice over from 5.05 A Novel Approach) "What does the book do?"

From 5.05 "A Novel Approach", in Valack's cell, Stiles, Stacie and Lydia were interrogating Valack.

"It triggers the memory centers of the brain, clearing the fog and bringing the images of the Dread Doctors into focus," Valack answered.

From 5.04 "Condition Terminal", in the operation room, Lydia was lying on the operating table.

Lydia was beginning to lose consciousness, seeing the regular doctors and nurses phase into the Dread Doctors, and then back again.

The Figures crowded in around Lydia.

Valack: (voice over from 5.05 A Novel Approach) "If you've seen them..."

From 5.05 "A Novel Approach", outside Eichen House, Two of the Dread Doctors were restraining Ari, clamping their robotic hands around either of arms, making her groan in pain.

Doctor 2 and Doctor 3 pushed Ari to her knees in front of them, restraining her by her arms.

Doctor 2 pulled Ari's head to the side to expose her neck.

Doctor 1 injected a liquid into Ari's neck, making her gasp in pain.

Valack: (voice over from 5.05 A Novel Approach) "If they've done something to you..."

From 5.05 "A Novel Approach", in flashback in the cell, Young Adriana was strapped to a table.

The Dread Doctors were crowding in around her.

Young Adriana tried to struggle free.

Present-Day Adriana was watching.

Valack: (voice over from 5.05 A Novel Approach) "Then the book will help you remember."

From 5.05 "A Novel Approach", in Valack's cell, Stiles, Stacie and Lydia were interrogating Valack.

The lights flickered.

"You brought a Kitsune," Valack told them.

One of the overhead fixtures started to spark, exploding.

From 5.05 "A Novel Approach", in the corridor of Eichen House, Kira was still flickering, pulsing with blue current and electricity.

Scott and Angel looked at her in shock.

"Kira, please stop," Scott told her.

"I'm not doing anything," Kira told them. "It's just happening."

Kira was on the floor, flickering, pulsing with blue current and electricity.

Angel ran toward Kira's unconscious body, kneeling next to her.

Kira flickered, pulsing with blue current and electricity. Angel reached a hand toward her.

Angel placed a hand on Kira's shoulder.

The current passed through her, but it didn't have any affect whatsoever.

Ari: (voice over from 5.05 A Novel Approach) "What are you?"

Angel pulled Kira with her down the hallway.

More lights exploded, electric sparks and glass raining down around them.

Kira flickered, pulsing with blue current and electricity.

Angel had to stop for a moment, breathing heavily, pulling Kira off the floor the rest of the way and into her arms, carrying her down the hallway.

Angel: (voice over from 5.05 A Novel Approach) "I don't know."

From 5.05 "A Novel Approach", outside Eichen House, Angel carried Kira outside to the stone steps.

Kira flickered, pulsing with blue and electricity.

Angel stopped on the steps, lying Kira down, breathing heavily, looking at the blackened skin on her arms. She didn't feel any pain, wiping away the soot staining her skin to reveal she wasn't hurt in the least. Her eyes were still glowing the deep, fiery gold. She looked up, breathing heavily, obviously exhausted.

From 5.05 "A Novel Approach", outside Eichen House, Scott, Stiles, Stacie and Ari were talking.

"I also think Angel might have stopped Kira from killing Lucas," Scott told them.

From 5.04 "Condition Terminal", in the club, Kira slashed the sword toward Lucas, about to decapitate him.

Angel caught the sword before she did. "Kira!"

Scott: (voice over from 5.05 A Novel Approach) "I mean, she nearly took off his head."

From 5.05 "A Novel Approach", on the road, Adriana fell to her knees in the middle of the road. Theo knelt next to her, trying to pull her out of the memory before she remembered too much. Theo worriedly grabbed Adriana from the middle of the road, pulling her to safety on the side of the road, falling to the ground with her in his arms. They looked at each other, breathing heavily.

Theo: (voice over from 5.05 A Novel Approach) "Adri!"

From 5.05 "A Novel Approach", in the Camaro, Malia and Tara nearly crashed, but managed to park.

From 5.05 "A Novel Approach", in flashback on the road, A female figure with two guns fired at the car, causing it to wreck.

There was the sound of a little girl screaming and a coyote (Coyote!Malia) growling.

The car came to a crash.

From 5.05 "A Novel Approach", in flashback to the fire, A flame launched toward Peter and Young Tara.

Peter pulled Young Tara closer to him, trying to put her in between him and the flame. "Tara!"

The flame ate at them, attacking them. Young Tara struggled, getting away from the fire before she was severely burned. Peter was burned in the face, screaming in agony, falling to the floor. Young Tara was crying, pulling Peter toward the basement exit that led to the tunnels underneath the house. Present-Day Tara seemed to be standing nearby, surrounded by the flames.

From 5.05 "A Novel Approach", in the Camaro, Tara and Malia were both breathing heavily, trying to come to terms with what they had both just seen.

"The Desert Wolf," Malia told her. "She was there at the accident... that killed my mother and my sister. She caused the accident. She killed them. She made me turn into the coyote." They sat up, breathing heavily. "What did you see?"

Tara gazed off numbly. "The fire. Peter didn't save me. He tried to kill me."

From 5.05 "A Novel Approach", in the school library, Donovan grabbed Stacie by her waist, throwing her up against the piece of scaffolding in front of them, several feet above the floor. Stacie caught a bar of the scaffolding and a pin, accidentally pulling the pin off. A board full of the support beams fell, all of the beams falling past Stacie to the floor and toward Donovan, creating a lot of noise as they all fell to the floor. Stacie slipped, dangling from on arm, turning to look down below. One of the support beams had impaled right through Donovan's stomach. Donovan died in front of her. Mercury leaked out of him along with blood. Stacie breathed heavily, horrified by the fact that she had just killed somebody, in denial.

Flashforward (Day Two)

Night - Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Hallway

Scott was lying on the floor, grasping for an asthma inhaler. His breathing came in ragged gasps.

Dread Doctor 2 stepped on the inhaler, crushing it releasing the medicine within in a puff of gas. It picked Scott up by the throat, holding him against the wall.

The elevator door chimed open.

Adriana, Tara and Natalie and Ari stepped of the elevator.

Adriana let her eyes glow completely purple, growling.

Ari let the irises of her eyes glow purple, growling.

Dread Doctor 2 tossed Scott aside, letting him fall to the floor, turning to face them.

Adriana roared, running closer, jumping into the air, kicking Dread Doctor 2 in the chest, making it back away. (slow motion)

Tara and Natalie ran to Scott's side.

"Come on," Natalie told him.

"Come on, Scott," Tara told him. Tara and Natalie helped Scott stand. "Let's go."

Tara and Natalie ran toward the elevator, pulling Scott with them.

Ari slashed into Dread Doctor 2's chest, only feeling a metal plate. She punched it in the face repeatedly, making it turn away.

Scott fell to the floor inside the elevator, gasping for breath.

Adriana spun to kick Dread Doctor 2 in the chest, making it back away.

Natalie withdrew a needle.

"Natalie, wait," Scott told her. "What is that?"

"Something I got from your mom," Natalie answered. "It'll work."

Natalie injected the needle in Scott's leg, making him groan in pain.

Tara looked out into the hallway. "Ari, come on! Adriana, run!"

Dread Doctor 2 gripped Adriana's wrist, breaking it, gripping her by the throat, trying to come down hard onto her neck to break it. Ari broke his grip on Adriana before he could kill her. Adriana backed away.

Adriana and Ari exchanged a look, nodding, holding hands, running toward Dread Doctor 2, jumping into the air, both of them punching him in the chest with all the strength they had, the combined strength between them creating a wave of energy that made Dread Doctor 2 fall back into the wall behind him, breaking the wall at point of impact. (slow motion)

Adriana and Ari were exhilarated, shocked to having that much of an effect against him, turning around, running down the hallway toward the elevator. Dread Doctor 2 stomped after them.

Natalie looked at them worriedly. "Run!"

¤•¤°¤•¤

Elevator

Adriana and Ari ran inside the elevator, falling against the wall, breathing heavily, keeping themselves standing against the wall.

Tara hit the button to close the doors repeatedly, quickly.

Dread Doctor 2 tried to push its way inside.

The elevator doors closed before he could get in.

The elevator shook violently.

Tara, Adriana, Ari, Scott and Natalie looked at each other in relief, breathing heavily in shock.

Tara shook her head. "We never should have read that book."

¤•¤°¤•¤

There was a black wolf with red eyes.

Scott looked up. He blinked. When he opened his eyes, they were glowing red.

Scott stood alone in a cloud of dust or smoke. Tyler Posey.

Stiles stood at a translucent crime board, adding a few things. Dylan O'Brien.

Stacie looked straight ahead, holding a crossbow in hand, holding it pointing up in front of her face, looking straight ahead. Zoey Deutch.

A Dread Doctor's face appeared.

Ari and Adriana stood back to back. Ari looked to the left, holding her motorcycle helmet in her hands, the irises of her eyes glowing blue. Adriana looked to the right, tracing her double infinity tattoo on her wrist, her eyes glowing completely purple. There was water sprinkles everywhere as they both looked up. Katherine McNamara.

Scott and Tara kissed passionately, pulling away.

Tara stood with her back toward you, looking over her shoulder, black blood covering her skin, her body reflecting each other. Victoria Justice.

On the back of Tara's hand, a triskele appeared. The spirals were black. The tip of one spiral was Beta blue. The tip of one spiral was Beta gold. The tip of one spiral was Alpha red. The intersection point was half-breed purple.

Lydia's hair covered her face, her hands held in front of her. She tossed her head back to get it to fall behind her. Holland Roden.

Natalie sat in a chair, half turned, her left leg to the left side of the chair, her right leg in front of it, her left arm lying on the back of the chair. Her eyes glowed gold. Sasha Pieterse.

A double infinity sign tattoo appeared on Adriana's wrist.

Malia was in the woods, her arms raised at her sides. Shelley Hennig.

Kira was in a fighting stance, holding her katana sword raised ready. Arden Cho.

Angel stood within fire, water and electricity, air blowing through her hair. She had her arms raised to her sides as if taking flight. Her eyes were glowing a dark, fiery gold. Ginny Gardner.

Natalie and Liam kissed slowly and softly.

Liam looked to the right. He was completely shifted. He returned to normal, looking straight forward, letting his eyes glow gold. Dylan Sprayberry.

On Scott's arm, two bands appeared, the top band thicker than the other.

The black blood pulled away from Tara's body, almost as it was never there.

Scott stared ahead. His eyes glowed red. He tilted his head toward his chest.

Now

Day One

Afternoon - Woods

The cross country team was running through the trails. Kira, Angel, Stacie and Natalie were all involved, in running clothes.

They all came to a stop nearby the trail, stopping in shock.

Natalie rammed right into Stacie's shoulder that Donovan had bit with his hand, making her groan in pain. "Sorry, Stacie."

Stacie held her shoulder in pain. "I'm fine, Natalie."

Everyone looked at the eight empty graves in the ground ahead of them.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Sheriff's Station - Sheriff's Office

Stiles, Stacie and Sheriff were talking.

Sheriff crossed out Tracy's pictures. "Chimeras."

"Two dead Chimeras," Stacie told them. "Eight new ones."

"So, that's ten in all," Stiles told them.

"I'm thinking maybe 11," Sheriff told them, putting a picture of Donovan up on the board. Stacie looked down. "Our station tech guys confirmed something for me. They said, both the holding cell lock and cameras could have malfunctioned because of something electromagnetic." He picked up the Dread Doctors book. "You said that, uh, these guys..."

"Dread Doctors," Stiles told him.

"Are we really calling them that?" Sheriff asked.

"So, they broke Donovan out?" Stiles asked.

"It's how they got into Eichen, isn't it?" Sheriff asked.

"Donovan's a Chimera," Stiles told them, walking closer to Sheriff and the board.

"Yeah, but, is he a failure like Lucas and Tracy?" Sheriff asked.

Stacie turned away, breathing unevenly in guilt.

"If he is, he's probably dead," Stiles told them, going to put an X over Donovan's picture.

Sheriff grabbed his wrist to stop him. "Not until I've seen a body." Sheriff and Stiles looked at Stacie. Stacie still had her back to them. "You're uncharacteristically quiet."

Stacie turned to face them. "Yeah. Sorry, I'm, uh... I'm just trying to think about it. Uh..." She walked closer. "These are all teenagers, right? So, shouldn't we be trying to figure out why these teenagers? If the Dread Doctors, if they went through all that, burying them, killing them, breaking one of them out of jail..."

"They couldn't have been chosen at random," Sheriff finished.

"They had to have something in common," Stiles told them. "Something that made them right for this experiment."

Stacie nodded. "Something that made them special."

Training Room

(Song:) Attack - Conway

Jordan and Lydia were training together, in workout clothes. Lydia tried a few punches and kicks and knees that he easily blocked.

"Arms up," Jordan told her. "This way you can block attacks to your face and your head while always keeping your eyes on your enemy." Lydia nodded in understanding. "Ready?" Lydia nodded. Jordan swung toward her. Lydia pushed his arm away. Jordan swung toward her. Lydia pushed his arm away, lowering her arms. Jordan swung toward her again, this time barely touching her. Lydia turned away in annoyance with herself, sighing. "It's all right. You're not going to be perfect after only a few tries."

"Okay," Lydia told him. "Keep going."

Jordan looked at her in concern. "You sure? Maybe we should stop after a few."

"Why?" Lydia asked.

"I don't want your stitches to get un-stitched," Jordan answered.

"They're fine," Lydia told him. Jordan tilted his head, still concerned, managing a small smile. Lydia sighed unzipping her hoodie, lowering her leggings to show him the bandage over her side. "See? No blood." She sighed, removing her hoodie completely, tossing it aside, leaving her in a sports bra. Jordan removed his hoodie, tossing it aside. Lydia held her arms up. "Ready when you are."

They started to circle each other. Jordan swung toward her. Lydia raised her arm to block the move. Jordan swung toward her. Lydia raised an arm to block the move, lowering her arms.

(Song Ends)

Jordan caught her hand, spinning her around to where she faced away from him, wrapping her in his arms. "What did you do wrong?"

"Uh, I forgot to keep my arms up," Lydia answered.

Jordan nodded. "Right. But don't worry. Your muscles have memory. With enough practice, they'll remember for you." Lydia and Jordan had a moment where they suddenly realized they were in each other's arms. They did not pull away. Jordan had his hand on her arm. It suddenly turned into the glove of one of the Dread Doctors. Lydia had a series of flashes where she was on the operating table with the Doctors working on her, pulling away, whimpering. Jordan looked at her in confused concerned. "What's wrong? What is it?"

Lydia looked toward where her bag was on the floor, seeing the Dread Doctors book peaking out of it. "Muscle memory."

Street

Scott and Tara were walking down the street, talking.

"So, basically, we're looking for abnormal behavior," Tara told him.

"Anyone acting a little off or a little weird," Scott answered. "And all of these are teenagers, so they'll be at the high school. We'll figure it out before you could."

"And how are you gonna figure that out?" Tara asked. "I mean, isn't everyone a little weird in high school?"

Scott nodded. "Yeah, good point."

Tara looked at the Dread Doctor book in Scott's hands. "You remember Tracy went on a killing spree after reading that?"

"You think it's a bad idea?" Scott asked.

"I think me and Malia losing control of a car could've been bad," Tara told him. "I think that Adriana, who didn't even finish the book, almost getting run down by a car could've been bad. And I definitely think that Ari running right into the Dread Doctors is definitely bad."

"So, you finished the book?" Scott asked. Tara nodded. Scott stopped walking. "What did you see, Tara?"

Tara stopped walking, hesitating, turning to face Scott. "I saw the fire. I saw what really happened?"

"What do you mean?" Scott asked.

"I mean..." Tara trialed off, sighing, looking down, shaking her head. "Peter didn't save me like he always had me believe. He tried to use me as a shield when I had thought he had used himself as a shield for me, but I pulled away." She looked at Scott, shaking her head. "He tried to have me killed when I was nine years old, Scott." She scoffed, looking away. "And the bad thing is that I'm not even surprised."

Scott looked at Tara sympathetically. "Tara, are you okay?"

Tara looked at Scott, nodding. "Yeah. Yeah, I'll be okay. What about you? I mean, has anybody else besides me, Ari and Malia finished the book yet?"

"Not yet," Scott answered. "But we're going to. The book's all we've got. And we all need to read it. Together."

Tara sighed. "Then it's time for a pack meeting."

Night - The Loft - Living Room

Scott, Stiles, Stacie, Ari, Lydia, Tara, Natalie, Adriana, Kira, Malia, Liam and Theo were gathered around the living room, standing around the large table in front of the wall of windows, looking at the copies of the Dread Doctors book in front of them.

"My mom's book club usually has more wine," Lydia told them.

"Well, they also probably didn't read books that cause violent hallucinations," Stacie told them.

"That's why Malia, Ari and I are here, aside from the fact that this is my loft," Tara told them.

"So none of us go driving, running into traffic or running right into the Dread Doctors?" Liam asked.

Scott nodded. "Or worse."

"Like what happened to Judy," Ari told them. Malia and Tara nodded in agreement. The others looked at them in confusion. "Chapter 14."

Lydia picked up one of the copies. "Maybe I should have my mother read it. She might remember a girl with a tail leaping off the ceiling and attacking everyone."

"Yeah, if it works," Stiles told them.

"It has to," Adriana told them.

"What's that mean, Adriana?" Natalie asked.

Adriana took a deep breath. "Well, Natalie... When I was driving... and got out of the car... I think I saw them before. I didn't finish the book yet, obviously, but I read some of it. It's almost like..."

"A memory trying to surface," Theo finished.

Adriana looked at Theo, nodding. "Yeah."

"Isn't that what Valack wanted when he wrote it?" Kira asked.

Stiles nodded. "Yeah."

"If they did something to me, I want to know what it is," Adriana told them.

Scott, Stiles, Stacie, Lydia, Natalie, Liam, Adriana, Theo and Kira took a copy of the book, walking off to find a place to sit, starting to read.

¤•¤°¤•¤

¤•¤°¤•¤

Everyone was still reading.

Scott looked up. "Anyone feeling anything yet?"

"Tired," Lydia answered.

"Hungry," Liam answered.

"I think he meant the book," Tara told them, pouring coffee, walking around the room to hand them each a cup.

Stacie was holding her shoulder in pain.

Ari noticed. "I thought you said that you hurt your elbow during track the other night."

"Yeah, but last night's cross country?" Stacie asked. "Natalie rammed right into my shoulder when we found the graves."

Natalie looked up sheepishly, tilting her head at Stacie. "Sorry, Stacie."

"It's okay, Natalie," Stacie told her.

Stiles looked from Malia to Tara to Ari. "Wait. So, how much--how much do you guys remember, anyway? With the accident, the fire and seeing your grandmother taken to Eichen? Did it play like a movie in your head, or was it like being completely in it again?"

"In it," Ari answered.

"Was it just that?" Stiles asked. "Nothing else?"

Malia shook her head. "Nothing."

Tara looked up from pouring coffee to give Malia a look.

Malia barely shook her head.

Adriana and Theo were sitting on the couch. Theo was glancing at Adriana through the corner of his eye as they both read the book, worried about what she could remember. Adriana saw his look, looking up curiously. Theo smiled a small smile that Adriana returned kindly. Adriana looked down at her book, as Theo continued to watch, a little nervous.

Kira was starting to fall asleep.

"You're not giving up, are you?" Lydia asked.

"Just resting my eyes," Kira told them, turning off the light.

Everyone continued to read.

Sinema

(Song:) Famous & Rich - Naughty Queen, Sebastian Ingrosso & Steven Angello

Angel was working and reading the book at the same time, selling glow sticks instead of shots.

A guy walked up to Angel. "My glow stick broke."

Angel took the glow stick from him. "No, it ran out of glow. They don't last forever."

"Can I have my money back?" the guy asked.

Angel handed him another glow stick.

The guy walked away, leaving.

Angel rolled her eyes. "God, I hate all-ages night."

Angel skated across the club to a table, continuing to read.

Chayton walked closer, placing money on the tray. "Hey, Angel."

"Hey, Chayton," Angel told him. "Chayton, what's that?"

"100 dollars," Chayton answered.

"I said I don't want your money," Angel told him.

"I owe you 200," Chayton told her.

"Chayton, just forget it," Angel told him. "It was an accident."

The power shut down.

(Song Ends)

The crowd cheered.

Angel looked up, sighing. "Perfect."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Backroom

Angel walked toward the fuse boxes.

Chayton leaned against the door. "You know, normally when you break something, you buy it."

"I gotta be honest, Chayton," Angel told him. "I've never seen a guy cocky like you still be a good guy."

Angel turned away to the fuse boxes.

Chayton smirked, chuckling. "Is that supposed to be an insult or a compliment?"

Angel looked at him. "A little bit of both. You might be confident, Chayton, but at least you're not a dick."

Angel turned to the fuse boxes.

"Well, I wholeheartedly take that as a compliment," Chayton told her.

Angel managed to push the lever on one of the fuse boxes, but the other was stuck. She knew that she could push it up with superhuman strength, but not with Chayton right there because she didn't want to expose herself.

Chayton walked closer to Angel, placing his hand on hers, helping he push up the level, restoring full power to the club.

(Song Resumes)

Angel turned to face Chayton.

"See?" Chayton asked. "Like you said, Angel. Not all confident guys are dicks. You said I owe you 200. Here's 100."

Chayton held the money toward her.

Angel looked at it for a moment, taking the money.

Chayton walked away, leaving.

Angel watched him go.

(Song Ends)

The Loft - Living Room

Everyone had fallen asleep around the loft. Adriana and Theo were on the couch. Adriana was sound asleep. Theo was nearly asleep, looking at Adriana, somewhat worried about her finding out about the truth of her past, but kind of wanted her to at the same time, just so that he could stop lying to her. He reached out to lightly trace the double infinity sign tattoo on Adriana's wrist, without waking her up.

Natalie and Liam were sleeping on another couch, with Liam's arm around Natalie, and her head on his chest.

Tara was looking out of the wall of windows into the night sky gazing off unblinkingly, thinking about the fire and the truth about what she now knew.

Kira was mumbling in her sleep. "Watashi wa shi no shisha da. [I am the Messenger of Death]. Watashi wa shi no shisha da." Tara turned around in confusion, walking closer to Kira to hear more clearly. "Watashi wa shi no shisha da. Watashi wa shi no shisha da."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Day Two

Morning - Beacon Hills High School - Hallway

Stiles, Ari, Stacie and Scott walked in.

"What if we need some kind of trigger?" Scott asked. "Malia was driving when she remembered the crash, and Tara only remembered the fire when she was bathed in a headlight." He looked at Ari. "Ari, you were in Eichen House when you got your memory, which was what your memory was actually about. Seeing your uncle and your dad emitting your grandmother into Eichen."

"Yeah, but how are we supposed to trigger a memory that we don't remember?" Stiles asked.

"I think it's a delayed thing," Ari told them. "Maybe you have to wait a couple of hours to see what happens."

"We keep an eye on each other today, okay?" Scott asked.

"Yes, and keep an eye out for eight other potentially homicidal Chimeras," Stacie added.

"And keep an eye out for the Dread Doctors," Ari added.

"Starting to see the appeal of a third eye," Stiles told them.

They dispersed.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Girls' Bathroom

Angel was standing at the sinks. She sighed, watching her slightly shaking hands.

The lights flickered.

Angel was really jumpy.

The bad lighting, the lights flickering, made her remember what happened at Eichen House, and not knowing how she could possibly do that was driving her crazy.

Angel hesitated, pulling a pouch out of her jacket pocket, holding it in her hand, looking at the powder inside, debating.

Kira walked in, seeing what was in her hand. "I thought you stopped. Angel, are you kidding me?"

Angel sighed, putting it away. "And there you go walking in at the wrong time, as always." She turned to face her. "It's not what you think."

Kira crossed her arms over her chest. "Really?"

"Really," Angel answered. "For the past six months, I've been clean. But with everything going on right now... I'm shaky, I'm on edge, I have no clue what is going on with me, and I can't calm down. This is the only way I know how to. So I bought it today."

"And you're gonna throw it away," Kira told her.

"Sure," Angel told her sarcastically. "If you can help me find out more about me so I can put the mystery to rest and finally be okay."

Kira sighed. "Maybe we can help each other." Angel looked at her in confusion. "Come on. Let's go to the library. We can talk."

Angel nodded.

AP Biology

Ari, Lydia, Scott and Kira were sitting in their regular seats in front.

Mrs. Finch was writing on the board. "So while introducing the African Cane Toad, sounded like a good way to deal with Australia's infestation of the Grey-backed beetle." Ari and Lydia were watching Sydney. "Unfortunately, the toad also decided to eat everything else in sight."

Sydney was scratching at her head.

Lydia looked at Ari, whispering. "Chimera?"

"And everything that tried to eat the toad, from crocodiles to household pets, quickly died fro the poison they secreted," Mrs. Finch told them.

Ari looked at Lydia, whispering. "Look at her hair."

They looked at Sydney.

"A perfect example of an invasive species," Mrs. Finch told them. Sydney was pulling hair from her head. "One-hundred and two toads introduced in 1935 became 1.5 billion by 2010." Ari and Lydia exchanged a look. "Once an invasive species is introduced, everything changes." Sydney stood, walking toward Mrs. Finch's desk, putting down a filled-out drop form. "Wise decision, Sydney." Sydney looked as if she would cry, walking out, leaving. Ari stood to go after her. Mrs. Finch stopped her. "Ari, you know it's for the best."

Ari looked at Mrs. Finch in annoyance.

Scott looked down at his own 'course drop' form.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Hallway

Adriana was standing at her locker.

Sydney ran past her down the hallway, crying.

Adriana was confused, following her. "Sydney?"

¤•¤°¤•¤

Guidance Office

Sydney was sitting at the table.

Adriana walked in.

Sydney took a deep breath. "Hey, Adriana. I was just looking for your aunt. I mean, Mrs. Martin."

Adriana walked closer. "You okay?"

Sydney showed her the hair in her hand. "Does this look okay?"

"How long has that been happening?" Adriana asked.

"Three years," Sydney answered.

Adriana raised her eyebrows in surprise, walking closer. "Years?"

Sydney sighed. "It's stress. I've tried everything. Medication, acupuncture, hypnosis."

Sydney wiped the tears away.

"Let me see," Adriana told her. "Maybe I can help cover it up. I don't know if you know this, but I am an expert at covering things up."

Sydney chuckled.

Adriana smiled.

Sydney pulled her hair aside, revealing a circular spot on her head where hair was missing.

Adriana took a closer look. She heard a drill, seeing a hole appear in her head, gasping, backing away, falling to the floor, staring off into nothing. (Slow motion)

She could hear a girl screaming.

Flashback

Day - Unknown Location - Cells

Adriana woke up on the floor of the old cell where she had been before Theo had gotten her out. She looked around, shocked and in confusion. She saw Young Adriana nearby.

Young Theo was in the other cell with a wall of bars in between them. He was holding the bars, looking at Young Adriana. "No, leave her alone!" Adriana looked up, seeing the Dread Doctors above Young Adriana. Young Adriana whimpered, trying to slide away, only to slide back into another. They restrained Young Adriana. Dread Doctor 1 turned Young Adriana's head to the side, holding it like that. Dread Doctor 2 brought a drill to her head to drill a hole into her skull. Young Adriana struggled, screaming, crying. Blood flowed from the wound in her head, to the floor. Young Theo tried to break the bars. "Adriana! Adri!" Adriana looked toward him. Young Theo let his eyes glow gold. He looked evil. "They're coming, Adri. They're coming for all of us."

The Dread Doctors continued to drill a hole into Young Adriana's head, making her scream in pain, speaking in robotic voices. "Adri. Adri." Adriana could feel the pain in her own head, holding her head in both hands, completely overwhelmed, screaming. The Dread Doctors' voices mixed with Stacie, Natalie, Ari and Lydia's. "Adri. Adri!"

Reality

Day - Guidance Office

Stacie, Natalie, Ari and Lydia were kneeling next to Adriana on the floor, finally getting her to wake up.

"Adri, are you okay?" Stacie asked.

Adriana's hand was shaking, tracing the double infinity sign tattoo on her wrist. Ari looked at her in concern, taking her hand.

"I'm okay, Stacie," Adriana told her. "Natalie, I'm fine." She looked at the time on the wall, then at Ari and Lydia. "Ari, Lydia, aren't you guys supposed to be in AP Biology?"

"Sydney came to get me and Stacie because she was so worried about you, so me and Stacie went to get Ari and Lydia," Natalie explained.

"Yeah, well, tell her I fainted, Natalie," Adriana told her. "By the way, Natalie, don't you have soccer practice to get to?" Stacie, Natalie, Ari and Lydia stood, helping Adriana stand. "I gotta go talk to Theo."

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Stacie asked. "Adriana, you're not looking so good."

"I'm fine," Adriana told them. Stacie, Natalie, Ari and Lydia looked at her in concern. Adriana tilted her head. "Stacie, I'm fine. Really. Natalie, go soccer practice. Ari, Lydia, go somewhere, I don't care. I have someone to talk to."

Library

Kira and Angel sat in the library in the shelving aisle to talk alone.

Kira had a copy of the Dread Doctors book in her lap.

"You didn't finish reading that yet, have you?" Angel asked.

"No," Kira answered. "I don't know what's wrong with me, either. I mean, I can barely read it."

"Okay, uh..." Angel trailed off. "This is gonna sound weird, but... do you speak Japanese?"

"No," Kira answered. "I'm also half-Korean, and I don't speak Korean. And I'm pushing a C-average in English."

"Well, uh, you know about my mom's writing," Angel told her. Kira nodded. "We've been thinking that I was getting my supernatural part from her. We also know that I'm not exactly like my uncle, so I'm thinking that my dad was something different, and that I'm kind of both of what they are. Kind of like Malia, Peter and the Desert Wolf. I mean, Peter's a Werewolf, but Malia takes after both him and her mother."

"Right," Kira agreed.

Angel chuckled. "So, anyway, I found another book that my mom wrote about Kitsunes." Kira looked at her expectantly. Angel took out the book from her bag. Kira took the book from her, starting to look through it. "Do you know why people in Japan answer the phone with 'moshi moshi'?"

"'Moshi' means 'hello'," Kira answered.

"Yeah, but there's a reason why you have to say it twice on the phone," Angel told her. "Because according to my mom's books about all of this, fox spirits have difficulty with language. And the way that you prove that you're not a fox, when you answer the phone, you say 'moshi' twice. The important part is 'moshi moshi' confuses Kitsunes because it's a language trick. So is the book. You know, it's just one long language trick."

"That's why I can't read it?" Kira asked.

"It's affecting the fox part of you," Angel told her. "Confusing it."

The lights flickered.

Angel was still jumpy, closing her eyes.

"I swear that wasn't me," Kira told her. Angel opened her eyes, sighing. "You okay?"

"Like I said," Angel told her. "I can't calm down. Not since what happened at Eichen."

"You said that you've been going through your mom's writing and the Bestiary to try and figure out what you and your uncle are, but you had very little to go on," Kira told her. "Now you know a little more about yourself. You survived fire and electricity. Even Werewolves would have died to the amount that you were exposed to. Scott was shocked back by the current coming out of me, but it didn't effect you." She realized. "Elements."

"Elements?" Angel repeated. "I thought that was just earth, air, fire and water."

Kira shook her head. "I'm not just talking about natural elements. I'm talking scientific elements. I mean, technically, they are still natural."

"Let me guess," Angel told her. "Electricity is included."

Kira pulled out the periodic table of elements on her phone, showing it to Angel. "All of these are included, if we're right about this."

Angel nodded awkwardly. "That's a lot of elements."

Kira nodded. "Mm-hmm."

"Water, carbon, stone," Angel told her. "I mean, all of these are basically different versions of the same things right?"

"Right," Kira answered.

"So, it's not as much as we think it is," Angel told her. "Basically, all of these could be grouped together." Kira nodded in agreement. "Well, why don't we find out?"

Kira and Angel looked at each other, smiling.

AP Biology

Mrs. Finch sat at her desk.

Scott walked closer with his course drop form, putting it down, turning to leave.

"You forgot to sign it," Mrs. Finch told him. Scott turned back, taking out a pen. "Are you going to tell me why you're dropping?"

"It's a schedule thing," Scott told her.

"Why did you take this class to begin with?" Mrs. Finch asked. "Isn't it prerequisite for the college you want?"

"It just doesn't matter," Scott told her. "It's too much..." He cleared his throat. "Time, too much work."

"To become a veterinarian?" Mrs. Finch asked. Scott started to breathe heavily. "Scott? I don't think you should drop." Scott began to have more and more trouble with breathing. Mrs. Finch stood in concern. "Scott?" Scott was having flashes of the hospital, a dog leash, a dog barking, and a little boy wheezing. "What's happening?"

Scott was wheezing, leaning against the desk for support. "I think..." Mrs. Finch walked closer. "I'm having an asthma attack."

Mrs. Finch looked toward the door. "Someone... someone get the nurse."

The leash that Scott had seen was covered in blood.

Two dogs were fighting.

One of the dogs' collars said "Roxy".

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Hallway

Scott was standing in the hallway, seeing that his younger self was being rolled in on a gurney.

Melissa was with Young Scott.

"Mom..." Young Scott trailed off.

"You're okay, sweetheart," Melissa told him. "You just need to breathe, okay?"

Scott watched the scene, having trouble breathing.

The bloody leash was looped around Young Scott's arm.

"Where's Roxy?" Young Scott asked.

Melissa looked at him sadly, taking the bloody leash away from him. "Sweetheart, she didn't make it."

They walked past Present-Day Scott.

"Where's Roxy?" Young Scott asked.

"Try not to talk," Melissa told him.

Scott was still breathing heavily.

Reality

Day - Beacon Hills High School - AP Biology

Scott was sitting on the floor, leaning against the desk, gazing off, unable to breath.

Mrs. Finch knelt in front of him worriedly. "Scott. Scott, you need to breathe. Scott? Scott, look at me. I need to know where your inhaler is. Is it in your locker? Scott." She looked toward the door, where a group of students had gathered. "Some--someone's got to have an inhaler. One of you, find someone. Scott. Scott?"

Lacrosse Field

(Song:) Bust One - Proper Villains feat. Metric Man

Soccer and lacrosse practice was held on the same field again.

A guy tossed the lacrosse ball into the goal.

A girl kicked a soccer ball into their goal.

Natalie was dressed for practice, picking up a soccer ball looking toward Liam across the field, smiling.

Liam was dressed for practice looking toward Natalie, smiling.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Bleachers

Brett and Mason were talking on the bleachers.

"I don't know, dude," Brett told him. "Everyone at Devenford is pretty abnormal to me."

"All right, what else is there to look for?" Mason asked. "There's heightened strength, smell, hearing, speed."

"Uh, able to see in the dark," Brett told him.

"Glowing eyes," Mason told him.

"Eyes that reflect the light," Brett told him.

"Visible scorpion stingers protruding out of limbs," Mason told him.

"Yeah, or three foot lizard tails," Brett added.

Mason chuckled.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Field

Liam threw a ball toward the goal, missing entirely. He winced, looking around, turning toward Natalie across the field.

Natalie smiled, and even though she was across the field from him, she knew that he would be able to hear her. "Come on, Liam. You can do better than that. Watch this."

Natalie put the soccer ball in her hands down on the ground, kicking it past the goalie into the goal. She turned toward Liam, smiling smugly.

(Song Ends)

Liam picked up a lacrosse ball from the ground. "Are you trying to get a rise out of me, Natalie?"

"I'm trying to get you to do better," Natalie answered. "Let's see if it works."

Liam looked toward Natalie, raising his eyebrows at the challenge.

Natalie smiled.

Liam nodded. "All right. Just remember you asked for it, Natalie."

Natalie watched him, tossing a soccer ball from hand to hand. "Bring it on."

Liam took a few running steps forward, throwing the lacrosse ball past the goalie into the goal.

(Song:) Freaks - Timmy Trumpet feat. Savage

Liam looked toward Natalie, smiling smugly.

Natalie smiled, kicking the soccer ball past the goalie into the goal.

Liam threw a lacrosse ball past the goalie into the goal.

Natalie put another soccer ball on the ground in front of her, taking a few steps back, kicking the ball up into the air, jumping up, spinning to kick the ball with the leg that was higher in the air than the other, kicking toward the goal, spinning into a crouch to land on the ground. (slow motion)

The soccer ball hit the goalie full-on in the chest, the force enough to make him fall back into the net.

(Song Ends)

Natalie winced, standing. "Sorry."

Natalie walked toward the goalie, helping him stand. She walked away, scratching her head sheepishly awkwardly.

Liam walked toward Natalie. "Show off, much?"

"I can get a little competitive," Natalie told him.

"Oh, a little?" Liam asked sarcastically.

Natalie smiled.

Inside - Hallway

Stacie, Lydia and Ari were walking down the hallway together.

"Do you think that Adriana's really gonna be okay?" Ari asked. "Adriana was really shaken up."

"Well, you and Adriana both got to see your memory," Lydia told her.

Stacie looked at Lydia. "We have yet to see ours." She looked at Ari. "We're gonna head over to the hospital to see if it can trigger our memories, okay?"

Ari nodded. "Yeah. Good luck, Stacie."

"You want to come with me and Stacie?" Lydia asked.

"Uh, you should ask Stacie's brother if he wants to come with," Ari told her. "Right, Stace?"

They chuckled.

A boy ran down the hallway, looking at the students in the hall. "Does anyone here have asthma? Does anyone have an inhaler?"

Ari didn't know how, but she instantly knew who needed it. "Scott."

¤•¤°¤•¤

AP Biology

Ari ran into the classroom with an inhaler, seeing Scott sitting on the floor, having an asthma attack so bad he was unresponsive. She knelt next to Scott, putting the inhaler in his hand. "Scott?" She shook his shoulder. "Scott, come on." She made sure no one was watching, letting the irises of her eyes glow purple, looking into Scott's eyes, growling his name in a monstrous voice to break him out of it. "Scott."

Scott came out of the daze, looking at Ari, seeing the inhaler in his hand, instantly taking a hit. He started to calm down after a moment. He looked at Ari flustered and confused, nodding. "Thanks."

Ari nodded.

¤•¤°¤•¤

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Outside

Lydia, Stiles and Stacie got out of Lydia's car, walking toward the hospital.

"Okay, so we're here hoping that the hospital will trigger your suppressed memory?" Stiles asked.

"Yeah," Lydia answered. "I remember nothing about my surgery, nothing about the Dread Doctors. So, if I've read the book, why don't I have the full memory of my experience with them?"

"I'm not supposed to know that, am I?" Stacie asked.

They stopped walking.

"No, something happened during the surgery," Lydia told them. "But now I think that maybe it has more to do with me being a Banshee. It's not my memory. It's someone else's."

Beacon Hills High School - Pool Room

(Song:) Monsters - Ruelle

Kira and Angel were in the pools alone at the school.

Angel sighed, sitting down at the edge of the pool, in basketball shorts and a swimsuit top. "You really think this is gonna work?"

"Water's an element," Kira told her. "If we're right about this, then water's gonna prove it. If it doesn't work, then I'll be right here. I know that you're scared. But I'm not gonna let anything happen to you. And I wouldn't be letting you do this if I didn't think it was gonna work."

Angel looked at Kira, reassured, nodding, sighing, standing.

Kira fastened a belt of weights around her waist.

Angel looked at Kira, hesitating.

Kira nodded.

Angel took a deep breath, closing her eyes, letting herself fall into the pool. The weight belt around her waist made sure that she couldn't get back up. She was drowning, slowly sinking to the bottom of the pool. She opened her eyes. They were glowing a fiery gold.

(Song Ends)

¤•¤°¤•¤

Angel was still under. She had been under for a long time. She tried to move around, but the weight belt kept her going from too far. She looked up toward the surface of the water, toward the clock on the wall. It was hard to tell what time it was, or how long she had been under.

The clock morphed into a full moon.

Flashback - 5.01 "Creatures of the Night"

Night - Jordan and Angel's House - Outside

The full moon was in the sky.

It was about to storm.

Angel was skateboarding the the skateboard bowl in the backyard, letting herself slide into the bowl, taking a fast curve up the side, jumping into the air, spinning the board, landing safely, rolling up the other side of the bowl, holding onto the edge, spinning around, continuing to keep going.

Thunder crashed.

Lightning struck nearby the skating bowl.

Angel was so shocked she didn't have enough time to stop.

The skateboard slipped out from underneath her feet.

Angel fell to the ground, landing badly inside the skating bowl. She propped herself up onto her elbows, looking confused and worried, as if she knew something was wrong.

The Dread Doctors were standing at the top of the skateboard bowl.

Two kept Angel's arms pinned to the ground on either side of her.

Doctor 1 had an electronic pick twitching, moving it closer to her eye.

Now

Day - Beacon Hills High School - Pools

Angel struggled underneath the water, gripping the weight belt that kept her pinned, breaking it off, struggling toward the surface, gasping for breath.

Kira was kneeling at the edge of the pool. "Angel! Angel. Angel. Hey." Angel stopped, looking around, remembering where she was, starting to calm down. "It's okay. It's okay. What did you see?"

Angel didn't answer, looking around. "How long was I under?"

"About 30 minutes," Kira answered. Angel looked at her in shock. "Yeah. I think it's safe to say that you have elemental immunity." Angel was still breathing heavily, still trying to calm down. "You remembered, didn't you?" Angel slowly nodded. "What did you see?"

"I--I--I saw them," Angel answered. "I was at my house, skateboarding. I was trying to do a hand plant. It was the night of the storm, the night before school started. My birthday." Kira helped Angel out of the pool. Angel sat on the edge of the pool, shivering. Kira wrapped a towel around her shoulders. "There was thunder and lightning. I just--I just had this feeling that something bad was gonna happen, and I fell, and I went down and hit hard. Really hard. I was lying there at the bottom of the pool, and I realized something. I never heard the board come back down. I--I--I looked up, and I saw them." Angel looked at Kira. "They did something to me." She pointed at her eye. "But I don't know what the hell they did."

"It's okay," Kira told her. "At least now you know."

Angel nodded unconvincingly, taking a deep breath.

The Loft - Living Room

Tara was standing at the windows, looking outside.

Malia walked in to talk to he.

Tara sensed her behind her, knowing who it was. "Why haven't you said anything?"

"About what?" Malia asked.

Tara turned to face her. "Don't be like that. The rest of your memory. The Desert Wolf. Why didn't you tell anybody?"

"I didn't want to, Tara," Malia answered. Tara tilted her head at her. "What? It--I'm processing. I need to know what it means before I tell anybody."

"You know what it means," Tara told her. "It means your birth mother killed your adoptive mother and adoptive sister and sentenced you to eight years as a coyote. Maybe you should stop looking, because maybe she was trying to kill you, too."

"I will," Malia told her. "But I was wondering..."

"What?" Tara asked, walking closer. "You were wondering if I could keep what I know to myself?" Malia nodded. Tara shook her head. "No. You need to tell someone. Natalie, Adriana, Angel, Stiles, Scott, Stacie, Ari, I don't care. Someone needs to know."

"You know, Tara," Malia told her. "Isn't that enough?"

"No," Tara answered. "I'm not going to keep this secret for you, Malia. But I'm also not going to tell. It's not my place. You will tell them. And if you don't... then and only then will I tell them. You can be mad at me all you want. But it's always better when they know."

Malia took a moment to respond, nodding. "Yeah. Yeah I'll tell them. Just give me time."

"Just remember, if you don't, I will," Tara told her.

"I get it, Tara," Malia told her, sighing, walking out, leaving.

Tara watched her go, sighing.

Beacon Hills High School - Weight Room

(Song:) Hypnotic - Zella Day

Theo was working out, doing pull ups. He stopped when he heard someone approaching from outside the door, knowing who it was, grinning, letting himself down, taking off his shirt. He pulled the sleeves of his shirt off, looking toward the door just as Adriana walked in.

The mirror behind Theo showed Adriana walking in and closing the door behind her.

Theo smirked, tossing his shirt aside, walking toward a set of weights, starting to lift one.

Adriana scratched her head, lowering her hand, and though she tried her best not to be affected by the shirtless Theo in front of her, she was a little distracted from what she needed to talk about. "I remembered something."

"About what, Adriana?" Theo asked.

Adriana walked closer. "About the Dread Doctors. But it's impossible."

Theo kept his back to her, looking nervous. "What? What was it?"

Adriana sighed. "It was... I was back in the cells with you. And they were there. They were... torturing me. Experimenting on me." Theo put the weights down, turning to face her, seeming confused. "They drilled a hole into my head."

Theo stepped closer. "But they couldn't have been there, Adriana." Adriana was clearly trying to not look at his shirtless form, sighing, which seemed to amuse him even though he was still worried about her finding out the truth. "That was the wolves. That wasn't them."

Theo sat down at a butterfly press machine, starting to work out.

Adriana tried to not look at him. "Yeah, that's what I thought, too. But it seemed way too real not to be real."

Adriana looked at Theo.

"Ari said the memory that she had it went from your parents and Lydia's mom to Dread Doctors," Theo told her. "It doesn't make sense, but I don't think we're getting the right memories."

(Song Pauses)

Adriana wasn't convinced, grabbing either side of the butterfly press, holding them together to make Theo stop, hard enough to hurt his chest and arms, holding her hands an inch above his on the handles.  "If I find out you're lying to me, I'm going to make you regret it. Do you understand me?"

Theo tried to pull the handles out of her hands, but she was stronger. He looked at Adriana in amusement. "I have no reason to lie to you, Adri. You and I are way too close for that. Don't you think?"

Adriana pushed the handles even closer together with enough strength to hurt him even more. "Don't even try to use our past against me. I'm not that terrified little girl from the cell next door any more. You got that? I don't know what you think to gain--"

"I want in the pack," Theo told her. "That's all. If you want to torture information that doesn't exist out of me, that's fine. If you got something else in mind..." He smirked slightly, suggestively. "I'm okay with that, too."

(Song Resumes)

Adriana gave Theo an unimpressed look, letting go of the press, turning around, walking out, leaving.

Theo rubbed his chest because of the strain she had put on him, watching her go, smiling at this side of Adri.

Outside - Balcony

Hayden was walking along the school balcony outside.

Angel ran up to her. "Hey, Hay."

Hayden looked at her. "Hey, Miss MIA."

Angel smiled a small smile. "Yeah, sorry about that. But I told you I'd make it up to you." She handed her an envelope of cash. "200. That should make up for the drinks."

Hayden stopped walking, turning to face her in surprise. "I don't--" Angel chuckled at her reaction. "Where did you get all of this?"

"Well, I, uh... I sold it all," Angel answered. Hayden raised her eyebrows, knowing what she meant. "I needed to kick the habit, and I owed you for all the nights I missed at the club, so I figured that it could benefit the both of us."

Hayden smiled, hugging Angel. "Thank you, Angel."

Angel smiled, pulling away. "No big." Chayton walked past them, looking back at them. Angel looked at Chayton. "What, Chayton?"

"Nothing," Chayton told them, walking along.

Hayden looked at Angel. "That was Chayton Ruelle."

Angel nodded. "Yeah."

"What, is Chayton like into you?" Hayden asked.

Angel shrugged. "I don't know."

"Chayton's one of the cutest guys in our class, and you don't know?" Hayden asked.

Chayton was listening, smirking, walking away, leaving.

Angel looked at Hayden. "Chayton's complicated."

Hayden laughed sarcastically.

They walked along.

The Loft - Living Room

(Song:) Seven Nation Army - The Glitch Mob

Tara was working out in the loft again, using the pipe in the wall as a pull up bar.

The door was slid open.

Tara let herself down, turning to face Scott.

Scott looked at her in amusement. "Is there anything else that you do when you're home alone?"

"What else can I do?" Tara replied. Scott chuckled. Tara smiled a small smile, kissing Scott for a moment, pulling away, walking past him toward the table. "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in school?"

"Free period," Scott answered. "Decided to tell you what's really going on with the book."

Tara grabbed a bottle of water from the table, taking a drink, turning to face Scott. "What do you mean?"

"Everybody's suffering memories and hallucinations like you, Adriana, Ari and Malia did," Scott answered. "And they're suffering bad."

Tara raised her eyebrows, nodding. "I see."

"Just don't say I told you so," Scott told her.

"All right," Tara told him. "I won't tell you."

Tara looked at Scott with an I told you so look.

Scott sighed, slightly amused. He let it fade, serious and pensive.

(Song Ends)

Tara walked closer. "What is it? What's wrong?"

"The book... did something to me," Scott answered. "It triggered an asthma attack."

Tara raised her eyebrows. "Asthma?"

"Yeah," Scott answered.

"You gonna be okay?" Tara asked.

"Yeah," Scott answered. "I think it was just a memory hitting me. Psychosomatic thing." He sighed. "And everything seems to be falling apart." He sat down on the couch. "It feels like everybody is keeping secrets, Tara."

Tara sat next to Scott. "Well, sometimes people need time to adjust. Some people just need to know what is going on themselves before anyone else knows. You want me to be honest? Fine. I'll be honest. Last night, after you guys fell asleep, I heard Kira mumbling Japanese in her sleep. And I didn't just hear it. I understood what she said."

"You speak Japanese?" Scott asked.

"I speak many languages," Tara answered. "One of the perks about me and Laura moving around all the time. We didn't just move around the country. We moved around the world."

"What did Kira say?" Scott asked.

Tara sighed. "From what I could tell... Watashi wa shi no shisha da. She said the same thing in the club. It means 'I'm the Messenger of Death'. And it gets worse. That aura you saw around her when she almost killed Lucas? It's supposed to be part of her. But the way that it looked... it was almost like it was taking over."

Scott nodded. "Something's happening. And to be honest..."

"What?" Tara asked.

"I don't know if I can trust her anymore," Scott told her. Tara looked away. "What? What else is there?"

Tara sighed, looking at Scott. "And then there's..."

The lights started to flicker around the.

Scott and Tara looked up in confusion.

"That's been happening at the school all day," Scott told her. "I thought it was Kira. But..."

They heard a sound like electricity sparking, standing.

Tara listened for the sound, trying to tell where it was coming from. "I hear it, too. It's coming from the basement."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Operating Room

Lydia, Stiles and Stacie walked in.

The lights were off.

"Stacie, can you turn the lights on?" Lydia asked.

Stacie looked around, finding the switches, trying to turn the lights on, but it stayed dark. "Uh, not going on."

Lydia sighed. "Ask someone, Stacie."

"Okay, I thought this was more of an auditory thing," Stacie told her.

"Stacie, I still want to see what I'm hearing," Lydia told her.

Stiles nodded sarcastically. "Makes sense." He looked at Stacie. "Stacie, you go. I'll stay."

Stacie nodded in agreement, walking out, leaving.

Macey and Stacie were walking through the hall.

"Stacie, we've been having issues for the last hour," Macey told her. "Maintenance is coming to check it out. For now, that floor is down to backup lighting. Stacie, I thought you said this was more of a hearing thing."

Stacie nodded. "Auditory, yeah."

"Sounds more like a Lydia thing to me, Stacie," Macey told her.

Stacie chuckled.

Macey walked away, leaving.

Elevator

Stacie walked into the elevator, hitting the button to go back up.

The doors closed.

Stacie saw a woman's reflection in the door behind her.

Stacie seemed to be in shock, confused, following the woman out of the elevator.

Loft Building - Basement

Scott and Tara walked into the basement to see electrical wiring chewed on and sparking, smoking.

Tara sighed. "It's a Chimera."

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Operating Room

Lydia and Stiles were in the room.

Stiles was trying to find a way to shed some light into the room. "Are you good? Can you hear anything?" Lydia heard a beeping in the operating room, drawn to a surgical monitor. "Lydia?"

"Shh," Lydia told him.

"Okay," Stiles told her.

Lydia could hear the voice of Dread Doctor 1 saying "Hayden" and "Chayton" over and over again.

"Still at the library," Ari answered. "Angel's at work. Stiles, Stacie and Lydia are at the hospital."

"Doing what?" Adriana asked.

"Lydia's trying to figure out what happened during her surgery," Ari answered. "She thinks that they did something to her."

"How long are they gonna be there?" Liam asked.

"They just said they're waiting for the power to come back on," Ari told them. "Scott and Tara are heading for the hospital. They want us to meet them there."

(Song:) It's Good - Ethel and the Chordtones feat. Ryan Levine of Wildling

Phil was talking to a guy. "Well, the base pay is crap. But with tips, you can make it to a grand at one night. Let's see what you got." The guy took off his shirt, revealing a tattooed covered chest and abs. "Maybe less."

Angel was skating through the empty club, getting ready for opening.

Chayton stood across the table from her. "Another $50."

"Chayton, please stop," Angel told him, skating with a tray toward the side.

Chayton kept up with her easily. "I promised I'd pay you back."

"It doesn't matter now," Angel told him. "Phil takes half my money, anyway. Besides, where did you get $100?"

"Parents make good money," Chayton told her.

"It wasn't your fault," Angel told him. "Why are you so persistent about this?"

(Song Ends)

"'Cause I had a near death experience and a surgery that saved my life," Chayton answered. "Now I don't want to waste it."

Angel was surprised with this answer. "Oh. Wow. Then forget about paying me back. Take care of yourself."

Angel skated along.

Chayton followed. "So Phil takes half of your money?"

"And never stops bragging about it," Angel answered. "Just listen to him."

They looked toward where Phil and Hayden were talking across the bar. They could both hear them perfectly.

"It's not like you're gonna do anything," Phil told her. "You're all under the table and too young to be selling alcohol anyway."

Angel realized that Chayton could hear them perfectly though he shouldn't have been able to by the distance, putting her tray down on the table next to them. "Chayton... If I take the money, can I ask you to do something for me?"

"What?" Chayton asked.

"Close your eyes," Angel told him.

Chayton chuckled in amusement. "Are you kidding, Angel?"

"Please," Angel told him. "Just for two seconds. I swear, I'm not gonna do anything."

"Why?" Chayton asked.

"All you have to do is close your eyes for three seconds," Angel told him.

"You said two," Chayton told her.

"Okay, well, three," Angel told him. "Three at the most."

Chayton sighed, nodding, closing his eyes. "This is stupid."

Angel picked up a glow stick. "Just one second." She broke the glow stick, making it glow, holding it up to Chayton. "Okay. Open them."

Chayton opened his eyes. They were highly reflective of the glow stick light.

Angel looked worried and confused on what to do.

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Operating Room

Lydia and Stiles were still in the room.

Lydia could still hear the Dread Doctors' voices from the surgical monitor saying 'Hayden' and 'Chayton'.

The Chimera from the roof seemed to be on the table, surrounded by the Doctors. "Please. Please. Please don't hurt me. Please."

The Doctors pealed back his skin over his side, revealing a glowing blue musculature underneath.

"Your condition worsens," Dread Doctor 1 told him.

Lydia looked horrified.

Stiles stood next to her worriedly, bringing her out of the Banshee vision. "Lydia? Lydia, are you okay?" Lydia looked at Stiles, breathing heavily. "What did you see?"

Lydia looked over the room, seeing that the vision was gone. She looked at Stiles, breathing. "I know three of them. Three of the Chimeras."

Stiles looked at her in confusion.

Rooftop

Stacie followed Claudia out to the roof of the hospital.

Claudia was standing on the edge of the roof.

Stacie walked closer. "Mom? Mom, what are you doing?"

Sheriff walked past Stacie without seeing her, toward his wife. "Claudia." Claudia turned to face him. Sheriff was very careful and gentle. "What are you doing up here?"

"I couldn't stand to be in that room anymore," Claudia told him. "Not with her looking at me like that."

"Claudia..." Sheriff trailed off.

"She's trying to hurt me," Claudia told him. "I don't care if you don't believe me, but she is. She's trying to kill me."

"No," Sheriff told her. "That's not true. Come on down." Claudia was whimpering, stepping down. Sheriff pulled her into his arms. "Come here. You have to remind yourself. It's the disease. Remember what the dementia does? It gives you delusions. It makes you think that people are out to get you."

"You don't see the way she looks at me," Claudia told him.

"Claudia she's 10 years old," Sheriff told her. "They both are."

"She's trying to kill me," Claudia told him.

A young boy walked toward them. "Daddy, what's wrong?"

"Stiles, go back inside with Stacie," Sheriff told him.

"Stacie's here," Young Stiles told them, pointing at Stacie.

Stacie looked down, seeing that the shadow on the ground in front of her was that of a little girl instead of her own shadow, breathing heavily.

"Stop it," Claudia told her. Stacie looked up. "Stop looking at me like that. Stop it!" Claudia ran closer. "Stop looking at me!"

Claudia started to attack Stacie.

"Mom, what are you doing?" Young Stiles asked. "Mom!" Claudia pushed Stacie to the ground, slashing at her, into her, making her scream. "Mom! Stop!"

The hallucination of Claudia attacking Stacie faded way into the Chimera attacking her, slashing into her with his fangs grown.

Adriana and Ari were exhilarated, shocked to having that much of an effect against him, turning around, running down the hallway toward the elevator. Dread Doctor 2 stomped after them.
