chapter 1 - Creatures of the Night

From 4.12 "Smoke and Mirrors", in Stacie's Bardo, Stacie started to sink down into the Nemeton like quick sand.

Scott: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (Teen Wolf)"

From 4.12 "Smoke and Mirrors", in La Iglasia, Berserker!Scott and Berserker!Ari started to pull at the skulls over their heads with as much strength as they could. The skulls glowed as they tore the skulls apart. They were shifted, looking up, roaring.

Scott: (voice over from 3.12 Lunar Eclipse) "I'm an Alpha now."

From 4.01 "The Dark Moon", in La Iglasia, Adriana used her left fist while Ari used her right fist to punch the wall. Their fists were maybe three inches away from each other. The force of their combined strength made more than twenty inches of the wall fall out of the way, breaking into a circle.

Severo: (voice over from 4.01 The Dark Moon) "Half-Beta, half-Alpha half-breeds. The Transferring Alphas. Stronger than any wolf."

From 3.16 "Illuminated", in the loft, Adriana and Ari let their eyes glow purple. Adriana's eyes glowed completely while only the irises of Ari's glowed. They growled, spinning in a same move on either side of a figure, raising their arms to crush in on either side of his head.

Ari: (voice over from 3.16 Illuminated) "We're stronger together."

From multiple, there were flashes of Scott (red eyes), Ari (purple irises), Tara (blue eyes), Natalie (yellow eyes) and Adriana (completely purple eyes) shifting.

Liam: (voice over from 4.04 The Benefactor) "Werewolves."

From 4.04 "The Benefactor", in the basement of the lake house, Malia was shifted.

Liam: (voice over from 4.04 The Benefactor) "Werecoyote."

From 4.11 "A Promise to the Dead", in the loft, Lydia was dripping wet from rain, screaming a Banshee scream.

Liam: (voice over from 4.04 The Benefactor) "Banshee."

From 3.16 "Illuminated", in the loft at the black light party, Angel took a picture of Kira to look at her aura.

Kira: (voice over from 4.04 The Benefactor) "Kitsune."

From 4.04 "The Benefactor", in the lake house, Liam looked at Angel. "What are you?"

"Honestly, we have no clue," Angel told him.

From 3.20 "Echo House", in the basement of Eichen House, Malia and Stiles were sitting on the couch, kissing.

From 4.01 "The Dark Moon", in the club,Hunter 2, a female hunter, tried to punch Malia. Malia caught her hand, elbowing her in the face. Hunter 2 tried to shoot her. Malia caught her wrist, elbowing her in the face with enough strength to make her fall unconscious. She looked at Adriana, Natalie, Ari, Kira and Angel.

Malia: (voice over from 4.10 Monstrous) "Somethings I'm picking up fast. But other things?"

From 4.03 "Muted", in math class, Malia and Lydia stood at the board.

Malia didn't know the answer to her equation.

"Didn't you go over the notes I gave you?" Lydia asked.

"I didn't understand them," Malia admitted.

From 4.11 "A Promise to the Dead", in the loft, Scott put his and Tara's hands on a light bulb in front of them, twisting them to turn the lights on.

There were light bulbs hanging from the ceiling everywhere, at different lengths.

Tara smiled in surprise, looking around.

Scott looked at Tara. "Did I do okay?"

"On the apology or the first date?" Tara asked.

"Both," Scott answered.

From 1.10 "Monstrous", outside the clinic in the pouring rain, Tara and Scott were talking. They continued to kiss in the rain, pulling away.

Scott looked at her in slight surprise.

Tara opened her eyes, sighing. "I've spent most of my life being so angry, Scott. I don't want to be angry anymore."

From 4.11 "A Promise to the Dead", in the Closed Unit, Deaton and the doctor were walking together.

In each of the cells, glimpsed through bars, there were a variety of heretofore unseen supernatural creatures.

"There's a reason this floor isn't listed in the brochure," the doctor told him.

From 4.11 "A Promise to the Dead", in Valack's room, Valack removed the bloody bandage from around his head, revealing a ragged and bloody hole in the middle of his forehead.

Deep inside the hole in Valack's skull, an eye suddenly opened inside what appeared to be his bloody brain matter.

Doctor: (voice over from 4.11 A Promise to the Dead) "The last person that went in to see Valack left the room but not the building."

From 4.09 "Perishing Angel", in the burning car, Fire touched Angel's skin.

Angel opened her glowing, deep gold fiery eyes.

The fire burned across her entire body, making her scream in agony.

The flames completely consumed both Jordan and Angel.

Angel: (voice over from 4.11 A Promise to the Dead) "I was burned alive, but I didn't die."

From 4.09 "Perishing Angel", in the Sheriff's Station, Angel was not dead, covered in soot, dressed in the barest remains of her burned clothing, opening the glass double doors, walking inside, grabbing a deputy's jacket from nearby, wrapping it around her body.

Angel: (voice over from 4.11 A Promise to the Dead) "Because I could very well be a demon from hell."

Jordan walked in, covered in soot, dressed in the barest remains of his burned clothing, walking toward Haigh angrily in a rage for trying to kill him and his niece.

From 4.11 "A Promise to the Dead", in the girls' bathroom, Kira and Angel were talking.

"It's okay that you're scared," Kira told her.

"You're right," Angel told her. "I am scared. Of myself. You should be, too."

From 4.12 "Smoke and Mirrors", in the Sheriff's Station, Jordan, Angel and Lydia were talking.

"Whatever you guys are, I'd like to help you figure it out," Lydia told them.

From 4.05 "I.E.D.", outside the school, Adriana looked at Brett curiously, suspicious, offering her hand.

Brett looked at Adriana knowingly, smirking slightly, knowing that she knew something about him, shaking her hand.

From 4.10 "Monstrous", in the clinic, Adriana tried to stand, nearly falling.

Brett kept her standing.

Adriana leaned against the table, looking at Brett.

From 4.10 "Monstrous", in the warehouse, Adriana was shot down.

Assassin 10 aimed the gun at Adriana's head. He was about to pull the trigger.

Brett ran closer, pushing Assassin 10 away. He looked at Adriana.

Adriana looked at Brett in relief, sighing. "Thought I told you to hide."

Brett walked toward Adriana. "I'm really tired of hiding."

Brett held a hand toward Adriana.

Adriana took his hand, letting him help her up.

From 4.09 "Perishing Angel", at the bonfire party, Natalie and Liam were talking.

"It's been one hell of a painful life," Natalie told him. "Just let go for tonight."

From 4.06 "Orphaned", at the well, Natalie looked at Liam in relief and happiness, smiling a small, surprised smile, tears in her eyes, looking so relieved that she could cry, pulling him into her arms. Liam returned the embrace, holding tightly in relief.

From 4.10 "Monstrous", in Liam's room, Natalie looked at Liam in surprise, standing, kissing him slowly and softly. Liam returned the kiss in kind, pulling her closer.

From 4.03 "Muted", on the rooftop of the hospital, Scott ran up onto the rooftop, completely shifted.

Sean grabbed Scott by the arms, pulling them back so that he had to let go of Liam.

Liam slipped off the roof.

Scott had to bite Liam's arm to keep him from falling to his death.

Liam screamed in pain.

From 4.05 "I.E.D.", in the locker room, Liam looked up, letting his eyes glow gold.

Liam: (voice over from 4.04 The Benefactor) "What's happening to me?"

From 4.04 "The Benefactor", in the woods, Liam and Natalie knelt on the ground.

Scott stood over them. "You're a Werewolf."

From 4.12 "Smoke and Mirrors", outside La Iglasia, Kate appeared behind Stacie, grabbing her by the head, forcing her head under the water of the nearby water fountain, trying to drown her.

Stacie struggled uselessly, trying to scream for help, but no one could hear through the muffled water, the fighting and the gunfire. She slowly stopped fighting, not because she wanted too, but because she was too close to death. She closed her eyes. Her mouth opened, letting the water in.

From 4.12 "Smoke and Mirrors", in La Iglasia, Stiles was the first to faint, falling to the floor.

Berserker!Scott gasped for breath, fainting, falling.

Berserker!Ari swayed, letting Adriana go, letting her fall, falling to the floor.

From 4.12 "Smoke and Mirrors", outside La Iglasia, Stacie was on the ground, gasping awake in the real world.

Macey was kneeling next to her.

Stacie coughed out water from her lungs, sitting up. She looked at Macey in surprise. "Did you just save me?"

From 4.12 "Smoke and Mirrors", inside, Stiles sat up abruptly, gasping, shaking in Malia's arms.

Berserker!Ari gasped awake, surprising everyone.

Berserker!Scott gasped awake.

From 4.12 "Smoke and Mirrors", outside La Iglasia, Derek and Stacie were talking.

"I think it means it means that when you died and came back, that the tethers were severed," Derek told her.

"As in..." Stacie trailed off.

"As in you're not the anchor anymore," Derek answered.

Derek looked at Scott, Tara and Ari, nodding.

Scott, Tara and Ari nodded.

Derek walked away.

From 3.21 "Foxes and Wolves", in Stacie's Mind Space, in the Preserve, Adriana saw her memory of what happened in 3.06 Motel California when she had been kidnapped.

Adriana looked at Young Adriana.

A person in black, their face and hair unseen, grabbed Young Adriana.

Young Stacie, Young Ari, Young Heather and Young Natalie started to run up the hill in front of them.

"Adri!" Young Ari screamed.

"Ari!" Young Adriana screamed, desperate and scared.

The memory started to blur in and out of focus. The man in black was shifting like something was wrong. Like it wasn't real.

From 4.03 "Muted", in the kitchen of Ari's House, Ari was holding her lacrosse stick.

Adriana had her back to Ari.

"You have to tell me what happened sometime," Ari told her. "When you're ready."

"I know," Adriana told her. "But it's not gonna be tonight."

Flash Forward

Night - Eichen House - Outside

There was a long look at the mental institution from the outside.

A raven flew by, cawing. It circled in the sky, coming to a stop on the gate outside of Eichen. It cawed.

It looked as if it would storm.

Thunder crashed.

Lightning crackled.

The raven continued to caw.

    ¤•¤°¤•¤

Inside - Showers

A girl was in the middle of taking a shower, the only one who was.

An orderly was watching her from the doorway. She checked her watch, looking at the girl. "All right, you've had long enough. Let's go." The girl didn't answer. "I'm not buying the catatonic act. So, don't think I'm gonna drop my guard." The orderly looked at the girl angrily. "I know you can hear me." She walked toward the girl. "Look at me when I'm talking to you. I said, 'Look at me'." The girl was revealed to be Lydia Martin. The orderly stood by her side, facing her. "Lydia."

Lydia didn't answer.

The orderly took her by her chin, turning her head to make her look at her.

Lydia didn't react in any way.

The orderly let her go.

Lydia gazed off into nothing.

    ¤•¤°¤•¤

Hallway

The female orderly and a male orderly led Lydia down the hallway.

The male orderly swiped his key card to unlock the gate in front of them, opening it, leading them through another hallway, closing the gate, looking at the female orderly. "Is she all right?"

The female orderly rolled her eyes. "She's fine. It's all part of the act. She's just a dedicated performer."

    ¤•¤°¤•¤

Lydia's Cell

Lydia was laying down.

The male orderly was preparing to give her a shot.

The female orderly was standing in the doorway. "Up the dosage to 3 mils. If she wants catatonic, give it to her."

The female orderly closed the door, walking away, leaving.

"Sorry about her, Lydia," the male orderly told her. "She doesn't have the gentlest bedside manner. But I can be gentle. " He traced a gloved finger along Lydia's skin on her arm, looking into her wide, open eyes. "I promise to be gentle." Lydia didn't answer, looking at the ceiling, nothing else, catatonic. The orderly injected the needle into her arm. "Are you all right, Lydia?" He took the needle out. "Sorry about that. I... couldn't find a vein. I'll have to... try again." He injected the needle into her arm, looking at Lydia creepily. He took the needle out of her arm, sighing. "I'll just have to... find a bigger vein."

The male orderly turned Lydia's head to the side to inject the needle into her neck.

Lydia instantly sat up, screaming a loud, Banshee scream that was powerful enough to make the lights shatter and sparks fall, leaving the room in darkness. She stood, pushing the male orderly into the wall, opening the door.

    ¤•¤°¤•¤

Hallway

Lydia ran out into the hallway, turning to the right to see a male orderly on the other side of the locked gate. She turned to the left to see another male orderly on the other side of the locked gate.

The orderlies unlocked the gates, walking toward Lydia.

Lydia looked from Orderly 2 to Orderly 1. She turned to Orderly 2, grabbing his hands, pushing them down hard enough to make him double over, kicking him in the chest, wrapping her legs around his neck, flipping him to the floor, landing in a crouched position, looking up at Orderly 1.

Orderly 1 ran closer.

Lydia stood, pushing her hands into his chest, screaming a Banshee scream, using it as a force to push toward Orderly 1, pushing him all the way down the hall, making the lights in the hallway shatter and leave the hall in darkness.

Orderly 1 fell to the floor.

Lydia turned around, running out, leaving.

    ¤•¤°¤•¤

Outside

Lydia ran outside into the pouring rain.

The lights turned on.

Three orderlies ran toward Lydia, each of them holding stun guns.

Lydia turned to Orderly 3, kicking him in the chest, screaming, making him fall to the ground. She turned to the two orderlies behind her. Orderly 4 tried to strike her with his stun gun. Lydia ducked, spinning around, grabbing Orderly 5's wrist so he wouldn't be able to taser her, using her other hand to backhand punch Orderly 4 in the chest hard enough to make him fall to the ground. She twisted Orderly 5's arm, making him drop the stun gun, pushing both of her hands toward him, screaming a Banshee scream, using the force to push Orderly 5 through the air, making him fall to the ground. She ran away down the stairs toward the gate to try to get out. She suddenly stopped in place.

Aiden walked up the stairs toward Lydia.

Lydia looked at him in shocked confusion.

"Sorry, Lydia," Aiden told her. "But your treatment's not done. Not yet."

The three guards had been given time to stand, each of them tasering Lydia with their stun guns, making her groan a scream of pain and fall to her knees, restraining her.

Lydia struggled desperately. "Please, I have to tell them. They're all going to die. My friends, my family. They're all going to die."

¤•¤°¤•¤

There was a black wolf with red eyes.

Scott looked up. He blinked. When he opened his eyes, they were glowing red.

Scott stood alone in a cloud of dust or smoke. Tyler Posey.

Stiles stood at a translucent crime board, adding a few things. Dylan O'Brien.

Stacie looked straight ahead, holding a crossbow in hand, holding it pointing up in front of her face, looking straight ahead. Zoey Deutch.

A Dread Doctor's face appeared.

Ari and Adriana stood back to back. Ari looked to the left, holding her motorcycle helmet in her hands, the irises of her eyes glowing blue. Adriana looked to the right, tracing her double infinity tattoo on her wrist, her eyes glowing completely purple. There was water sprinkles everywhere as they both looked up. Katherine McNamara.

Scott and Tara kissed passionately, pulling away.

Tara stood with her back toward you, looking over her shoulder, black blood covering her skin, her body reflecting each other. Victoria Justice.

On the back of Tara's hand, a triskele appeared. The spirals were black. The tip of one spiral was Beta blue. The tip of one spiral was Beta gold. The tip of one spiral was Alpha red. The intersection point was half-breed purple.

Lydia's hair covered her face, her hands held in front of her. She tossed her head back to get it to fall behind her. Holland Roden.

Natalie sat in a chair, half turned, her left leg to the left side of the chair, her right leg in front of it, her left arm lying on the back of the chair. Her eyes glowed gold. Sasha Pieterse.

A double infinity sign tattoo appeared on Adriana's wrist.

Malia was in the woods, her arms raised at her sides. Shelley Hennig.

Kira was in a fighting stance, holding her katana sword raised ready. Arden Cho.

Angel stood within fire, water and electricity, air blowing through her hair. She had her arms raised to her sides as if taking flight. Her eyes were glowing a dark, fiery gold. Ginny Gardner.

Natalie and Liam kissed slowly and softly.

Liam looked to the right. He was completely shifted. He returned to normal, looking straight forward, letting his eyes glow gold. Dylan Sprayberry.

On Scott's arm, two bands appeared, the top band thicker than the other.

The black blood pulled away from Tara's body, almost as it was never there.

Scott stared ahead. His eyes glowed red. He tilted his head toward his chest.

Day One

Night - Beacon Hills Preserve - Beacon

(Song) Firestone (feat. Conrad Sewell) - Kygo

Stiles' Jeep and Ari's motorcycle (bike) were parked on the beacon of Beacon Hills.

Stacie was sitting up on the hood of the Jeep, looking at a map on her binder in her lap.

Ari was standing in front of the hood of the Jeep, leaning back against it.

Scott and Stiles were standing on either side of them.

Stacie was telling them her plans. "All right, so I found some cool two bedrooms in the Mission District, but they're pretty expensive. A couple in Haight and Ashbury. Also expensive."

"What about Berkeley, Stacie?" Ari asked. "Don't a lot of students live around there, Stace?"

Stacie tilted her head. "Yeah, yeah, we could try Nob Hill."

"The Jeep would probably burn through a lot of clutches," Stiles told them.

"You're bringing the Jeep?" Scott asked.

"You know the plan, okay?" Stacie asked. "No one gets left behind. That's the plan." She looked at Ari. "You and Lydia are not gonna have a problem getting into Stanford. Angel, Kira and Adri are thinking USF. Malia's, uh, gonna..." Stiles looked down. Stacie nodded reassuringly. "You know, she'll figure something out, okay? The plan's perfect."

"Or we could also wait until we actually get into college and then figure out where to live," Scott told them.

"I have a vision, dude," Stacie told him. "Okay? And it is a beautiful vision. Don't ruin the vision." She looked at the map. Scott, Ari and Stiles exchanged an amused look. "Okay, we can check out the Easy Bay. Haven't looked at Oakland, yet, you know."

(Song Ends)

Ari looked past Scott and Stacie toward a set of trees. "Natalie, Adri, I don't hear chains being locked."

Adriana and Natalie were holding the chains, standing next to Liam.

"Come on," Adriana told them."This is totally unnecessary. He's fine."

Scott, Stacie, Ari and Stiles walked closer.

"Liam, it's not that we don't trust you," Scott told him.

"It's that I don't trust you," Stiles told him.

Scott raised his eyebrows slightly. "But after that last full moon..."

"It was one slip up," Liam told them.

"Slip up?" Stacie repeated. "A dozen calls to the Sheriff's Department about a 'monstrous dog-boy running around the streets of Beacon Hills naked with a very fast teenage girl running after him to get him under control.' That's a slip up?"

Adriana looked at Liam weirdly. "Why were you naked?"

Natalie pressed her lips together, looking away.

Liam scratched his head awkwardly. "It was really hot out that night, okay?"

Stiles had his mouth open in surprise and realization. "No, no, lie. I call you out on that one. No, no, you two... You." Natalie and Liam didn't answer, looking at each other sheepishly. Stiles laughed. "Little Nattie is all grown up, huh? One of us, the adults?"

"You're one year older than me," Natalie told them.

Scott shook his head barely, looking between Natalie and Liam. "That's why he lost control. It wasn't because he couldn't handle it."

Stiles smirked. "Nope. It was because Natalie got him excited and out of control."

Natalie closed her eyes, turning away to hide a blush.

Adriana smiled, wrapping her arms around Natalie, putting her head against her shoulder to help her hide the blush, looking at Stiles. "Aw, look at that. You embarrassed her. That's adorable."

"Shut up, Adriana," Natalie told her. "Please, Adri."

Scott and Ari looked at Stiles.

Stiles stopped smirking.

Ari looked at Liam. "You sure you're okay?"

Liam nodded. "It won't happen again."

"Oh, if you're still with Natalie by the next full moon, I'm not so sure about that," Stiles told him.

Natalie sighed, closing her eyes, embarrassed.

"Stiles, please shut up," Stacie told him. She smiled. "Natalie, it's okay."

Adriana let Natalie go. "Listen to Stacie for once, Natalie. We're both on Nattie's side."

Stacie smiled. "Thanks, Adriana. Nattie's side indeed, Adri."

Ari chuckled. "Me, Stacie and Adriana on Nattie's side. I like the sound of that, Natalie. 'Nattie's side'."

Stacie, Ari and Adriana smiled, while Natalie couldn't help a small smile, and Scott, Stiles and Liam smirked in amusement.

Natalie looked at Liam. "You're in complete and total control?"

Liam nodded. "Yeah, Natalie. Complete and total."

Natalie looked at the others, nodding.

They walked toward the Jeep and Ari's bike.

Liam had had his hands clenched into fists the entire time. He opened them to reveal they were bloodstained and healing from clawing into himself.

Sheriff's Station

The station was very busy due to the stormy weather.

Jordan Parrish was talking calls. "Yes, ma'am, we're having problem with the power as well. It's most likely related to the storm."

Jordan hung up.

The phone started to ring again.

Sheriff Stilinski stood in the doorway of his office. "Parrish, check the backup generator, make sure it's fueled. And, Parrish, answer the phone."

Sheriff walked into his office.

Jordan looked away in annoyance.

    ¤•¤°¤•¤

Sheriff's Office

Sheriff was sitting at his desk.

Jordan walked inside. "Six months. Six months of directing traffic, doing courthouse security, serving subpoenas. And today, I've finished a total evidence overhaul at the lockup. Now I'm stuck behind a front desk while there's down power lines, a jackknifed tractor trailer and reports of gunshots downtown. I don't know what I did to lose your trust, but you need every available deputy out there."

Sheriff sighed. "Okay. Got something for you."

Sheriff handed Jordan a piece of paper.

Jordan raised his eyebrows. "A noise complaint?"

"Yeah," Sheriff answered. "Somebody's making noise, and somebody else complained about it. Check it out."

    ¤•¤°¤•¤

Jordan and Angel's House - Outside

(Song:) Live Like Legends - Ruelle

Angel was skateboarding the the skateboard bowl in the backyard, letting herself slide into the bowl, taking a fast curve up the side, jumping into the air, spinning the board, landing safely, rolling up the other side of the bowl, holding onto the edge, spinning around, continuing to keep going.

(Song Ends)

Thunder crashed.

Lightning struck nearby the skating bowl.

Angel was so shocked she didn't have enough time to stop.

The skateboard slipped out from underneath her feet.

Angel fell to the ground, landing badly inside the skating bowl. She propped herself up onto her elbows, looking confused and worried, as if she knew something was wrong.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Abandoned House - Outside

The house was an old Greek revival with large white columns.

Jordan stood outside the house by his deputy car, looking at the noise complaint paperwork in his hands.

Lightning flashed.

Thunder crashed.

      ¤•¤°¤•¤

Inside - Foyer

Jordan walked into the darkness, looking around the deserted house by the light of the flashlight in his hand."Hello? This is the Beacon County Sheriff's Department."

      ¤•¤°¤•¤

Basement

Jordan walked down the stairs. He heard a noise, turning in that direction toward a concrete wall. "Hello?" There was no answer. "Hello?" There was a subtle banging coming from the other side of the concrete wall. "Hey! Hey, can you hear me?" There was two bangs on the concrete. "Okay, okay. I'm gonna get you out of there. I'm coming right back. Just hang on."

Jordan turned around, running away, leaving.

      ¤•¤°¤•¤

Outside

Jordan reached his deputy car, opening the truck, grabbing a combination pry bar and pick ax.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Inside - Basement

Jordan ran back inside, toward the concrete wall. "Back up if you can."

Jordan used the tool to start banging at the concrete wall, chipping off little by little pieces of the wall.

A vicious black fluid started to ooze from the holes in the wall.

Jordan stopped in confusion.

The wall started to crack.

The black fluid splattered onto Jordan's face.

A hand punched through the concrete wall, making shambles fall, gripping Jordan's throat.  A creature stepped out through the hole in the wall. He was covered in the black fluid. He had pointy ears. His hands were tipped by enormous talons. He had long, jagged canines. He was still holding Jordan by the throat, lifting off the floor, growling. He stabbed Jordan in the stomach with the talons, making him scream in pain.

Jordan breathed heavily in pain and anger. His eyes began to glow the color of fire.

The creature's eyes took on the same glow.

The glow faded from both of their eyes.

The creature tilted his head. "You're not a Werewolf. But you're something." He let Jordan go, letting him fall to the floor. Jordan looked at him, breathing heavily. The creature smiled. "You're no ordinary creature, Deputy. But then, neither am I. Not tonight." His talons started to glow blue. He looked from his talons to Jordan. "I'll let you live if you answer one question. Where's Arielle and Adriana Martin?"

Jordan glared at him, breathing heavily. "Never heard of them."

The creature growled, slashing toward Jordan.

On the Road

(Song:) I'll Die - My Double, My Brother

Ari's bike was driving down the road. Ari and Adriana were the ones riding, both wearing helmets.

Stiles' Jeep followed after them.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Stiles' Jeep

Stiles was driving.

Stacie was in the passenger seat.

Liam, Natalie and Scott were in the backseat.

"Is it a party?" Natalie asked.

"It's not a party, Natalie," Stacie answered.

"Then what's at midnight?" Liam asked.

"Your bedtime," Stiles told them. "Natalie, just don't do what you did last full moon at bedtime or you'll make your boyfriend lose control again."

Natalie tilted her head at Stiles.

"Why aren't Angel, Lydia, Malia and Kira going?" Liam asked.

"They're meeting us there, okay?" Stiles asked. "And just stop asking questions, all right? It's a senior thing. You'll know when you're seniors."

Scott was looking at his phone. "You guys having trouble with your phones?"

The engine spluttered until it broke down at the side of the road.

"You out of gas?" Natalie asked.

"No," Stacie answered. "It's electrical."

"Probably the alternator again," Stiles told them.

Stacie, Stiles and Scott got out of the car, walking toward the hood of the Jeep.

(Song Ends)

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

On the Road

Ari had parked her bike when she had realized the Jeep had broken down again.

Ari and Adriana got off, pulling off their helmets, putting them on the bike, walking toward Scott, Stiles and Stacie.

"What happened?" Ari asked.

"The Jeep broke down again," Scott answered.

"Don't worry, we'll fix it," Stiles told them, opening the hood of the Jeep.

The engine was covered with duct tape.

"That's a lot of duct tape," Adriana told them. Stiles gave her a look, pointing at her. Adriana smiled. "What?"

"Shut up, Adriana," Stiles told her.

Adriana smirked.

Stacie sighed. "It's the last night of summer, you know, so I wanted to make sure everyone was here tonight."

"We'll make it, Stace," Adriana told her.

Scott looked at Stiles. "You got any tools?"

"Yeah," Stiles answered, picking up a roll of duct tape, taking a strip off to put in the engine to fix the problem.

Ari and Adriana looked at Stacie in confusion. "Stacie?"

Stacie shrugged.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Stiles' Jeep

Liam and Natalie were still in the backseat.

Liam put an ear bud into his ear.

Natalie heard lightning strike really close by, turning to look behind them just as the lighting strike hit the road about three yards behind the Jeep. "Stacie. Ari. Adriana?" Lightning struck a lot closer. "Stacie!"

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Outside

Scott, Stiles, Stacie, Ari and Adriana were still outside.

"Natalie, give us a second, please," Scott told her.

"Stay in the car, okay?" Stiles asked.

Lightning struck the pavement behind them.

Adriana, Ari, Stacie, Stiles and Scott turned to face the exploding the light that shot up from the road.

"That was close," Ari told them.

Stacie nodded. "Very close."

The engine started on its own.

Adriana took a moment to speak. "Can we go now?"

Adriana walked toward Ari's bike.

Ari, Stacie, Stiles and Scott exchanged a look.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Later

Ari's bike and Stiles' Jeep drove away.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Street

There was a fallen over tree in the middle of the street.

Many people, including Malia's adoptive dad, Mr. Tate, were trying to lift it away.

"All right, here we go," Tate told them. "Everybody get a good grip. Remember, lift with your legs. That's where your power is. One, two, three."

Everyone started to lift the tree, straining to do so.

The tree seemed to be lifting on its own, out of their hands.

Everyone was confused.

Malia was on the other side of Tate, lifting the tree with one hand easily.

Tate looked at her, dumbfounded.

Malia shrugged. "Strong legs."

Roadside

Tate and Malia were standing alone.

Malia was looking at her phone. "Dad, is your phone working?"

Tate took out his phone. "No. I think the storm took the cell towers out. It's gonna be okay. You'll find out when you find out." Malia nodded. "You need a ride to the school?"

Ari's bike and the Jeep pulled up.

Malia looked at Tate. "Got one."

Stacie was driving the Jeep this time, pulling to a stop behind Ari and Adriana on the bike.

Stiles was in the passenger seat, looking at Malia. "Sorry we late." Malia smiled, running up to Stiles. "Hey." Malia and Stiles kissed, pulling away. Stiles smiled. "I'm really, really sorry."

Malia kissed Stiles more deeply than before, pulling away.

"You do remember I own a gun, right?" Tate asked.

"Vividly," Stiles answered.

Tate nodded, looking at Malia, smiling, winking, walking away, leaving.

Ari and Adriana got off of the bike, walking toward the Jeep.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Stiles' Jeep

Stacie was in the driver's seat.

Stiles was in the passenger seat.

Liam, Natalie and Scott were in the backseat.

Malia got in, sitting on Stiles' lap.

Ari stood next to Stacie outside the driver's seat door.

Adriana stood next to Malia and Stiles outside the passenger seat's door.

They all looked at Malia.

"What?" Malia asked.

"Did you find out yet?" Ari asked.

"Find out what?" Natalie asked.

"They're gonna email me," Malia told them.

"Is this about summer school?" Liam asked.

Malia looked at Stiles. "You told Natalie and Liam?"

Stiles scratched his head awkwardly. "Uh..."

"Oh, no, all they said was you had to go to go to summer school 'cause the principal said your test scores weren't good enough, and you might have to repeat junior year," Liam told her.

Natalie pressed her lips together, looking at Liam.

Malia gave Adriana, Stiles, Scott, Stacie and Ari a look.

Adriana pressed her lips together.

Scott looked down awkwardly.

Stacie looked away, scratching her head.

Ari sighed, looking down.

Stiles looked at Adriana, Scott, Stacie and Ari, nodding to Liam and Natalie. "We should've chained them both to the tree and left them there."

¤•¤°¤•¤

Outside

Ari's bike and Stiles' Jeep drove away, leaving.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Ari's House - Kitchen

Macey walked in, in her doctor uniform, having just come home. "Ari, Adri, I'm home." She put her bag on the table, walking toward the laundry room. "But I have to rush out again."

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Laundry Room

Macey opened the dryer, emptying the clothes into a basket. "The hospital has called everybody back in."

Macey picked up the basket, using her foot to lightly kick the dryer door closed.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Kitchen

Macey walked in, putting the basket on table. "Dinner's in the fridge." She walked toward the refrigerator, opening it, looking inside, grabbing a frozen meal, taking it out, putting it into the microwave. "Ari! Adriana! Adri!" She realized why she wasn't receiving any answers. "You're not even here, are you?" The creature was in the next room, hidden in the shadows, watching Macey. Macey looked at the note on the fridge that said: Senior Scribe. Back by 1:30. "Of course you're not here. Everybody's at the high school."

Macey grabbed her bag and her food from the microwave, walking out, leaving.

The creature grabbed the note from the fridge, taking it down, reading it.

Route 115

Kira stood on top of her parents' car in the middle of a traffic jam, trying to get a signal on her phone.

Wind, thunder and lightning suggested the storm was getting worse.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Yukimura Car

Noshiko and Ken Yukimura listened to their daughters' footsteps on the roof, making it dent.

Noshiko leaned out of her window. "Kira, get back inside the car, please."

Kira jumped down from the car, looking around the traffic jam.

A teenage boy named Theo Raeken was standing outside of his car, trying to get a signal on his phone. He looked at Kira. "I'm not getting anything, either."

Kira smiled kindly, getting into her parents' car.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Yukimura Car

Ken was in the driver's seat.

Noshiko was in the passenger seat.

Kira was in the backseat. "We haven't moved in 15 minutes. I'm gonna be late."

"What is this thing you're going to, anyway?" Noshiko asked.

"Angel told me it's called Senior Scribe, and Angel also said I'm not supposed to tell you about it," Kira told them.

Noshiko looked at Ken.

Ken smiled. "Don't look at me. I don't know anything, either. It sounds like they're supposed to write something, or..."

"It sounds like vandalism," Noshiko told him.

Kira shook her head. "It's not vandalism." Noshiko looked at her. "At least, I don't think it is." There was a long moment of silence. Kira looked around, sighing. "That's it. I'm going."

Kira slid toward the passenger's side backdoor.

"What?" Noshiko asked.

"You're gonna walk?" Ken asked.

Kira opened the car door. "Yep." It started to rain. Kira closed the car door, sliding back into the middle of the seat. "In a few minutes."

Ken smirked, looking up at the roof of the car, listening to the rain.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Hallway

Liam and Natalie were walking down the hallway.

"My dad's helping Macey out in surgery," Liam told her. "Natalie, they're not gonna be done for hours."

"So either we can hang out here or go home," Natalie told him. Liam nodded, still holding his fists closed. Natalie noticed, turning to face him. "Show me your hands." Liam sighed, clenching his hands to show that they were torn into by his claws and bleeding, result from his struggle not to turn on the full moon. He looked down. "Hey. You're still learning. You know how long it took me to learn control on the full moon?"

"It was different for you, Natalie," Liam told her. "You were in the vault for months after just one transformation."

Natalie nodded in agreement. "Yeah. Yeah, I was. And that made it harder to learn control. But it was easier when I had someone to pull me back."

Liam nodded. "I have you to pull me back, Natalie."

Natalie smiled a small smile. "Yeah. It's called an anchor. Listen, Derek and Tara told me that you were one of the strongest that they'd ever seen at your age. Now, coming from them, that means a lot. Maybe means that things are gonna be harder for you for a while, but it also means something else, doesn't it?"

Liam shrugged. "That I'm really strong?"

Natalie smiled. "Hell, yeah." Liam and Natalie smiled small smiles. Liam pulled her closer to kiss her slowly and sweetly at first. It started to build more and more until they had to pull away. Natalie smiled. "Okay. That's where I gotta draw the line. At least for tonight."

Liam frowned in confusion.

Natalie took his hands, showing him that his claws were out.

Liam took a breath of surprise.

Natalie smiled, holding his hands in her own so no one saw the claws, leading Liam down the hall.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Waiting Room

Stacie, Malia, Adriana and Ari were at the front desk.

Adriana was texting, smiling.

Malia looked at her phone. "Who are you texting?"

"Brett," Adriana answered.

"You've been hanging out with him a lot lately," Ari told her, raising her eyebrows.

Adriana smiled, shaking her head. "Don't look at me like that. Nothing's happened between us." She tilted her head, smirking slyly. "Yet."

Scott and Stiles walked toward them.

Adriana was too busy texting to pay attention to what they were saying.

"I haven't been able to reach Tara," Scott told them.

"Well, Tara and Derek are helping the Calaveras and Argent track Kate down," Stacie told him.

"I know, but she said that she's coming back tonight," Scott told them.

"Did they get any luck with Kate?" Malia asked.

"I think so," Scott answered. "Tara only texted me once this week."

"Once?" Stiles repeated. "How'd you guys leave things when she left?"

"Well, they were good," Scott answered. "Yeah, I just said, you know, 'Don't worry about anything. Just go have fun'. You know, 'cause she doesn't like Kate, and I know that she'll be more than happy to help them catch her."

Malia tilted her head. "No. You told her to go have fun?"

"Why?" Scott asked. "What's wrong with that?"

"Nothing," Stacie answered. "Nothing's wrong with it. Just, I don't know. That can be interpreted a lot of different ways."

"Like what?" Scott asked.

"Well, like, 'Don't worry, were not exclusive, go have fun with other guys'," Malia answered.

Scott shook his head. "No. No way."

Stiles noticed that Adriana wasn't paying attention. "Adriana, some help please." Adriana looked up from texting. "If you were going away, and your boyfriend told you, 'Don't worry, go have fun.' What would you think he was talking about?"

"Fun like partying, clubbing, dancing the night away?" Adriana asked. "Or sex with other guys?"

They all looked at Scott.

Melissa was listening to them from behind the front desk, smiling a small smile.

Scott looked at Stacie and Ari in confusion. "Wait, Stacie, Ari. How much do you guys still keep in touch with Derek and Isaac?"

"I get to talk to Derek whenever he's not tracking Kate," Stacie answered. "Which is a lot."

"I don't talk to Isaac as much as I did before, but at least I get more than one text a week," Ari told them.

Melissa stood, walking toward Scott. "Honey, don't listen to them. Tara had a tough enough time opening her heart to you, of all people, let alone anyone else."

Stiles nodded in agreement, pointing at Melissa. "Yeah, she has a good point. I mean, I barely even saw the tarantula getting together with my best friend, even though I should've, so I definitely don't see her going around. No, if she's not with other guys, she's probably in trouble or captured again."

Scott shook his head. "No. No, she's fine. She's okay."

Adriana nodded sarcastically. "Right, yeah. Because it's not like Tara gets captured and tortured every time she leaves town. Like when Tara and Derek left to take Cora back to South America. Or when Tara left to go find Derek. Both times Tara was captured by the Calaveras, and now Tara's working with them to find Kate Argent, who also captured her and tortured her, not once, but twice."

Everyone seemed to believe that this was the more realistic scenario.

Scott was trying not to believe it, trying not to be worried. "Malia, she's your cousin. Have you heard from her at all?"

Malia shook her head. "No, I haven't talked to Tara since she left."

Scott nodded. "Okay. Yeah, now I'm worried."

"Sweetheart, why don't you go to the loft and wait for Tara there?" Melissa asked. "You have plenty of time to go see her before Senior Scribe. I'm sure she's fine, Scott."

Paramedics wheeled several people on stretchers past them.

Scott looked at Melissa. "Hey, Mom, where's all this coming from?"

"A jackknifed tractor-trailer on 115," Melissa answered. "Caused a major pile up."

Melissa walked away, leaving.

"Okay, okay, there's only one way back into Beacon Hills from the airport," Malia told them.

Adriana sighed. "115."

"Kira's never gonna make it," Stacie told them.

"I can get her," Ari told them, walking toward the door, turning toward them. She pointed at Scott. "You go to the loft and be there when Tara gets home. Notice I say when, and not if." She looked at the others. "You guys head to the school. Lydia's gonna meet you there. We have plenty of time to get there by midnight."

"How are you gonna get to her in the middle of a traffic jam?" Stiles asked.

"We'll make it," Ari told them. "Trust me."

Ari walked out, leaving.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Sheriff's Station

Angel walked through the station, skateboard in hand.

Sheriff saw her, sighing. "Angel..."

Angel looked at Sheriff in confusion.

Sheriff nodded to the skateboard.

"No, don't worry, Sheriff," Angel told him. "No skating in the station. Not like the last time. Or the time before that."

"Or the time before that?" Sheriff asked.

Angel pointed at Sheriff. "In my defense, I had chip-rigged skates from a deputy that was out to kill me."

Sheriff sighed. "What are you doing here, Angel?"

"Um, JP was supposed to be home by now," Angel told him. "You know, it's our usual... thing. Uh, birthday thing, actually."

Sheriff looked toward the window that let them see the raging storm outside, looking at Angel. "Angel, today's your birthday?"

"18th, to be exact," Angel answered. "But who's counting? Uh, I was just wondering where my uncle went."

"He should've been back by now," Sheriff told her.

"Back from where and back by when?" Angel asked. Sheriff opened his mouth to speak. Angel cut him off. "I'm sorry, but I just have this really bad feeling."

"You get those feelings a lot, Angel?" Sheriff asked.

"Not particularly," Angel answered.

"Angel, meaning what?" Sheriff asked. Angel opened her mouth to speak. Sheriff pointed at her, cutting her off. "Don't answer that, Angel."

Two deputies led a teenage boy inside.

"Hey, keep it moving, bud," the female deputy told him. "Come on."

"You guys are making a mistake," the boy told them.

"Hey," the female deputy told him. "Come on."

"Ow," the boy told her. "What the hell are you trying to do? Break my arm?"

"Keep struggling and I'll be aiming for a compound fracture," the female deputy told him.

Sheriff looked at the boy. "Donovan, you forgot what the judge said, didn't you? 'Next time is jail time'."

"Stilinski," Donovan told him.

Donovan looked at Angel.

Angel raised her eyebrows. "What?"

The deputies started to take Donovan away.

Donovan struggled. "Hold up. Come on."

Sheriff looked at the female deputy. "What's he in for?"

"B&E," the female deputy answered. "And he was carrying a loaded .38."

"Okay, it wasn't mine," Donovan told him. "Sheriff, come on. It wasn't mine."

Sheriff nodded. "Book him."

"Oh, you're dead," Donovan told him. Sheriff and the two deputies started to pull Donovan away. Donovan struggled worse than before, looking at Sheriff. "Hey, look at me! You're dead! You're dead! You're going to do this to me? You son of a bitch, you're dead! Look at me!"

Sheriff and the deputies took Donovan into the cell block.

Angel watched them go, raising her arms in frustration, turning around, walking out, leaving.

On the Road

It was pouring rain.

Angel was skateboarding through the empty, abandoned street, weaving her way around a corner, continuing to go. She came upon the abandoned house, seeing Jordan's deputy car outside, coming to a stop, picking up her skateboard. She looked confused to how she got there.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Abandoned House - Basement

Jordan was breathing heavily, leaning against a shelf heavily. His chest was slashed into, his stomach stabbed into, bleeding profusely. His wounds were smoking. He spoke into the radio on his shoulder. "Dispatch, offi..." He groaned in pain. "Officer down."

There was static from the radio.

Lydia: (on radio) "Jordan. I'm here."

Lydia approached Jordan, kneeling in front of him. "I'm right here." She put her hand over his chest wound, trailing her fingers down. She whispered into his ear. "Stay with me."

Lydia leaned closer, about to kiss him.

He heard Angel's voice. "Uncle Jordan?" Angel ran into the room, horrified when she saw him. Lydia was not really there, only a hallucination. "Jordan!" Angel ran toward him, kneeling next to him, not sure what to do, worried. "JP!"

Jordan fell unconscious.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Morgue

Sheriff, Angel, Melissa and Macey laid the unconscious Jordan onto a table.

"Okay, okay, easy, easy," Sheriff told them. He looked at Angel. "How did you know where he was? Angel, you left before I had the chance to tell you."

Angel shook her head in confusion. "I don't know. I... I just did."

"Scent, feeling, what, Angel?" Sheriff asked.

"I seriously don't know," Angel told them.

"Angel, you told me you had a bad feeling earlier," Sheriff told her. "Feelings like Lydia gets?"

"Um, last time I checked, or at least all that I'm aware of, Banshees can't survive being burned alive or being blown up," Angel told them. "So, no, I'm guessing it's something different."

Macey sighed. "Right." Angel looked at Jordan worriedly, not knowing what to do for a moment, putting a hand over his chest where the slash marks where. "Angel, what are you..." Jordan started to heal. He sat up instantly. His eyes were glowing the color of fire. He turned to face them. Macey looked at Angel. "Angel, did you just heal him with a touch?"

Angel didn't answer, looking confused and stunned, not knowing the answer herself.

Sheriff had his gun drawn, aimed at Jordan.

Jordan let the glow fade from his eyes.

Melissa held Sheriff's arm, lowering it to their side. "It's okay. It's okay."

Angel walked toward Jordan. "You okay, JP?"

Jordan looked down to his chest and stomach to see that he was completely healed. "I'm fine, Angel." He looked up in confusion, shaking it off, looking at Macey. "Ari and Adriana. We need to find them."

Macey looked at him in confusion.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Route 115 - Yukimura Car

The storm and the traffic jam were worse.

Ken was in the driver's seat.

Noshiko was in the passenger seat.

Kira was in the backseat.

"You know, there's a legend for a storm like this," Ken told them.

"Dad, please don't turn a three-hour traffic jam into an educational experience," Kira told him.

"He's talking about 'The Wild Hunt'," Noshiko told her. "About the ghost riders. Imagine a night like this, Kira, with storm clouds just like these. Phantom hunters riding black horses with blood red eyes. Wolves, Hounds and Ravens at their side, flying, baying and snarling."

"What were they hunting?" Kira asked.

"Souls," Noshiko answered.

Kira frowned in confusion.

They heard Ari's bike in the distance.

"Noshiko?" Ken asked.

"Do you hear that?" Kira asked, getting out of the car into the rain. "That's Ari."

Noshiko and Ken called after her. "Kira!"

      ¤•¤°¤•¤

Outside

Ari drove through the aisle of cars toward Kira. She pulled over, pulling off her helmet, looking at Kira. "Come on!"

Kira smiled, closing her car door, running toward Ari on her bike.

Ari tossed Kira a helmet.

Kira caught it.

Theo was in his own car, looking toward Ari.

Ari and Kira pulled on their helmets.

Kira got onto the back of the bike.

Ari drove away past Theo's car, down the aisle of the cars.

Theo watched them go.

Hale Loft Building - Outside

(Song:) Catch the Wind - High Highs

The black Camaro pulled up outside the loft building, parking.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Camaro

Tara was in the driver's seat, on the phone. "I'll be fine on my own, Derek. I have been for a while." She saw Scott standing outside the loft building, underneath an alcove in the rain, smiling a small smile. "Better than okay."

Tara hung up, putting her phone away.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Outside

Tara got out of the car into the rain, walking toward Scott.

Scott stepped out of the alcove into the rain, walking toward Tara. "Tara. Did you have fun in South America?"

"Not really," Tara answered.

"Did you get captured and tortured again, Tara?" Scott asked.

Tara chuckled. "No."

Scott smiled. "Good."

Scott pulled Tara into a kiss. He wrapped his arms around her waist. She wrapped her arms around his neck. They continued to kiss passionately in the pouring rain.

(Song Ends)

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital - Morgue

Angel, Melissa, Macey, Sheriff and Jordan were talking.

Jordan was telling them about the creature that had attacked him. "His claws were different. Twice the size of a Werewolf's. More like talons."

"Well, if that's the worst part, that doesn't sound too bad," Melissa told them.

"It's worse," Jordan told them. "They did something to me. I don't know how to describe it other than it felt as if the life was being drawn out of me through them. Through the claws."

"And now he's looking for my daughters?" Macey asked.

"Which got me thinking about what this guy can do," Jordan told them. "You said that Ari and Adriana can literally give power, give strength to the weak to make them stronger, make them better. And you said that the power could be taken from them unwillingly."

Sheriff nodded. "Like Deucalion and the Nogitsunes. They took power from Ari and Adriana."

"This guy was stealing power from me," Jordan told them. "I think this guy can steal their power. Maybe to the point of killing them."

Angel looked worried. She heard something from out in the hallway, looking toward the door, walking toward it.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Hallway

Liam and Natalie had heard the entire conversation, looking at each other worriedly, running for the exit.

Angel ran after them, turning to face them to make them stop. "Natalie. Liam."

"Angel," Natalie replied.

Angel gave them a look. "Natalie, you're not trying to go after that guy alone, or to try to warn them alone, are you?"

"Uh..." Liam trailed off. "No."

"Good," Angel told them, holding up a pair of keys. "'Cause I got a ride."

Natalie nodded. "Then let's go, Angel."

Angel, Liam and Natalie ran down the hallway.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

The Loft

(Song:) Touch - Shura

Scott and Tara were sitting inside the loft in the dark, looking out of the wall of windows to watch the storm, on the floor, leaning against the wall.

Scott had his arm around her shoulders.

"Senior Scribe, huh?" Tara asked. "What is that, vandalism?"

Scott chuckled. "No. No, Tara, it's supposed to be a secret."

"You have to be there by midnight, right?" Tara asked.

"Yeah," Scott answered. "I still got a few hours. I'll make it."

Tara smiled a small smile.

The clouds outside moved just enough to show the full moon behind them.

Scott looked at the full moon thoughtfully.

"You okay?" Tara asked. "Scott? You're starting to feel it?"

"No," Scott answered. "Just thinking."

"About what?" Tara asked.

"Senior year," Scott answered. "But it's more like something Deaton told me once. Tara, you ever hear of regression to the mean?"

"Yeah," Tara answered. "Yeah, it's a way of saying that life can't ever be all bad or all good. You know, eventually things have to come back to the middle."

"So, I've been thinking about the last few months," Scott told her. "Things have been good. But not amazing. And I don't know about you, Tara, but no one's tried to kill me in six months, either." Tara smiled, looking down, shaking her head. "We've been pretty much in the middle for a while. Which means, at some point, the scale has to tip one way or the other. Things are gonna get really good again..."

"Or really bad," Tara finished.

Scott sighed, nodding. "Yeah. But you're here, Tara. You're back, and for the first time in a long time, you left and came back without being captured and tortured again. That's a miracle in itself." Tara smiled, pushing Scott lightly in the chest. Scott chuckled. "I just kinda want to take that in as a good sign."

Scott looked at Tara, smiling.

"What are you smiling at?" Tara asked.

"You," Scott answered.

Tara looked at Scott, smiling, leaning closer to kiss him.

Lightning flashed from the sky outside, allowing light through the wall of windows, illuminating Scott and Tara as they continued to kiss, more passionate and heated than before.

(Song Ends)

The only thing that stopped them was Scott's phone starting to ring.

They pulled away.

Tara smiled a small smile.

Scott sighed, pulling out his phone. "It's Natalie." He sighed, answering. "Yeah, what's up, Natalie?" Tara was listening to the phone call. Scott and Tara looked at each other worriedly. "Natalie, what?"

Tara stood, walking toward the table, pulling on her jacket.

Beacon Hills High School - Outside

Ari's bike pulled up underneath a tunnel underneath the school steps to keep her bike out of the rain.

Ari and Kira got off of the bike, smiling, taking off their helmets.

Adriana walked toward them. "Hey, you made it!" She smiled, hugging Kira. Kira smiled, returning the embrace. They pulled away. "How was New York?"

"When I was with my parents, boring," Kira answered. "When I wasn't, okay."

They smiled.

Adriana looked at Ari, smiling. "You remember when you, Stacie, Natalie, Heather and I used to go out to our tree in the woods where we carved our initials, and we used to stand out there in the rain for hours?"

Ari nodded. "Until Mom or Dad would send Lydia to come get us." They chuckled. Ari sighed wistfully, nostalgically. "Sometimes I miss times when it was that simple, Adri."

Adriana scoffed softly. "Believe me, Ari, I do, too."

They heard a growl, looking toward the direction it came from.

The creature was standing out in the rain, growling, running toward them.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Elsewhere

Stacie walked underneath an outside breezeway of the school to stay out of the rain.

Lydia walked toward her. "Finally. Where is everybody?"

"Adriana, Stiles and Malia are somewhere around here, Scott went to welcome Tara home before coming here, and Angel, Ari and Kira should be here any minute," Stacie answered. "I haven't heard from them, and Malia still doesn't know if she passed."

Stacie looked around the school yard.

People were using umbrellas and raincoats to stay clear of the rain, friends laughing and talking.

Stacie looked anxious, sad, not knowing if they were going to make it last.

Lydia frowned, a little concerned. "Stacie, what's wrong? Why is this thing so important to you?"

"It's not," Stacie told her. Lydia raised her eyebrows, unconvinced, tilting her head. "It's not. It's, uh..."

Lydia crossed her arms over her chest. "Stacie."

"I don't know," Stacie told her. "Maybe it is." She bit her lip, hesitating. "I asked my dad the other day about his high school friends. Guess how many he stills talks to. None. Not a single one. You know, these were his best friends, and he just says he lost touch with them, you know. So, I started thinking about things, like I always do."

"Obsessively," Lydia told her.

Stacie nodded. "Yeah. And, so, I'm thinking... Lydia, all our lives, we were, at most, acquaintances. And then sophomore and junior year, we became best friends. And we're still best friends. And Ari and I are best friends. And so are me and Adriana, and me and Natalie..." Lydia nodded in agreement. "But, what if... what if we're best friends now, you, but we're not best friends for life?"

"Well, that just happens sometimes, Stacie," Lydia told her.

"Yeah, but only because we let it happen," Stacie told her. "You know, that's what I'm saying. Before Adriana disappeared, Adri, Ari, Natalie, and I were best friends. And then after Adri disappeared, we all just drifted apart, until all of this started happening and we became best friends again. And I can't lose them again. I can't lose you, Lydia. Or Angel, or Malia, or Kira. How come when we graduate, we're just expected to go our separate ways? If I've already found the best people in my life, why aren't I not trying to stay with them, you know?"

"Well, I thought that was the plan," Lydia told her. "The dream."

"The vision," Stacie corrected. "And don't mock the vision."

"I like the vision," Lydia told her. She realized. "So that's why you wanted everyone here tonight. Because you don't want to lose all your friends after senior year."

Stacie nodded. "And I hope they don't want to lose me, either."

Lydia smiled a small smile. "This is why you were the anchor, Stacie. The link. You weren't just linking, Scott, Stiles, Ari and Allison together. You're the thing that kept all of us together. You kept all of us from falling apart. And maybe, just maybe... you can keep us from falling apart now." Stacie smiled a small smile. She heard someone coming, frowning. "What, Stacie?"

Stacie turned around, grabbing the person running closer, slamming him onto the ground, kneeling to do so.

Liam groaned in pain.

Stacie realized who it was, and that she had overreacted. "Oh, my God."

Stacie stood, looking up to see Natalie, Angel, Malia and Stiles right behind him.

"Overreact much?" Lydia asked.

"Not so much," Angel answered.

"Ari and Adriana are in trouble," Liam told them.

Stacie and Lydia exchanged a confused look.

  ¤•¤°¤•¤

Tunnel

The creature slashed into Ari, making her fall to the ground.

Kira took off her belt, snapping it into a sword, swinging it around, walking toward the creature, trying to slash into him. The creature backed away, spinning to push Kira to the ground.

Adriana slashed into the creature, making him turn away.

The creature spun around, slashing into Adriana, pushing her away. "Come on, halfbreeds. Where's your power?"

Ari spun to face the creature, taking a knee to the ground, letting the irises of her eyes glow purple. "Who are you?"

"A devoted fan," the creature told them. "Show me the girls that took down the Alpha Pack, the Berserkers and broke the Argents. I came for them. Come on!" Adriana growled, letting her eyes glow completely purple, sliding closer, slashing into the creature's leg. Ari spun into a standing position, splashing water around, slashing into his chest. Adriana slashed and kicked into the back of his legs, making him fall to his knees. Ari spun around in the opposite direction, kicking him in the face, making him fall to the ground. The creature stood, slashing toward Ari. Ari ducked, trying to kick him. The creature caught her leg, gripping her throat, growling, pushing Ari against the wall, letting her fall to the ground. "And I didn't come just to take your power."

Adriana attacked the creature from behind, slashing into his back. The creature slashed toward her. Adriana did two back flips to make him miss, front flipping toward him to kick him in the head, and then back flipping again to kick him in the head again. She landed on her feet soundly.

The creature picked up Ari's bike as if it was nothing, throwing it into Adriana just as she landed on her feet, making her fall to the ground, pinning her down.

Ari slid over the wet pavement toward Adriana. They both started to push the bike off of her.

Kira stood, slashing her sword toward the creature. The creature used his talons to block the move. Kira raised her arm above her head to slash down toward him. The creature caught her wrist, throwing the sword to the ground, backhand punching Kira in the face, making her fall to the ground.

Theo jumped down from the alcove from up above. The creature, Ari and Adriana looked toward him in confusion. Adriana was more confused, as if some part of her recognized him. Theo was shifted, his eyes glowing gold, running closer to leap from the wall to the creature, punching him in the face, trying to punch him again. The creature raised his arm to block the move. Theo slashed into his arm, leg and stomach, looking toward Ari and Adriana, both of whom were looking at them in confusion and surprise. Theo tried to punch the creature. The creature caught his arm, breaking it over his knee, pushing him down next to Adriana.

Ari and Adriana pushed the bike off of Adriana, both of them breathing heavily, turning to the creature to continue the fight.

The creature was right in front of them, using his glowing blue talons to stab either Ari and Adriana in the stomach before they had a chance to fight back.

Ari and Adriana gasped in agony, seeming to be in excruciating pain.

The glowing talons changed from blue to gold, like the veins that Ari and Adriana had when they gave power, or when power was stolen from them. The purple glow faded from their eyes. They gasped for breath.

Lydia, Stiles, Malia, Tara, Scott, Stacie, Natalie, Liam and Angel ran toward them, stopping on the steps in shock.

Tara growled, letting her eyes glow blue.

Natalie and Liam let their eyes glow gold.

Kira stood, raising her sword.

Scott shifted, letting his eyes glow red.

Lydia was angry and worried, screaming a Banshee scream. "No!"

Everyone had to cover their ears in paid due to the Banshee scream, including the creature.

The creature took his claws out of Ari and Adriana to cover his own ears, letting them fall to the ground.

Ari and Adriana gasped in pain and effort, trying to heal, regain strength and power.

Lydia stopped screaming.

The pain faded for everyone.

Scott ran toward the creature. The creature slashed toward him. Scott jumped onto the wall to make him miss, turning to kick the creature in the stomach, slashing the creature in the face on the way to the ground. The creature slashed toward him. Scott ducked, sliding past him on the ground, turning to face the creature, standing. The creature slashed toward him. Scott ducked, standing, punching him repeatedly.

The creature turned to Tara behind him. Tara tried to punch him. The creature caught her arm. Tara slashed into the creature's fingers so hard that she cut the talons off of one hand. The creature slashed toward her with the other. Tara caught his arm, slashing into the creature's fingers so hard that she cut the talons off of that hand, too, making all ten of the talons fall to the ground. The glowing gold faded from the talons.

The creature roared in pain.

Ari and Adriana's eyes were glowing again. They growled, standing, running closer.

Ari and Adriana jumped into the air to get enough strength to punch the creature in the chest at the same time, the movement enough to send sonic waves through the air and send the creature flying into the stone wall behind him, breaking it on impact. (slow motion.)

The creature fell to the ground.

Ari and Adriana landed on the ground safely, breathing heavily from effort.

Scott looked at the creature. "I don't know who you are, or what you thought you were going to do, but I'll give you a choice. You can stay, and we'll break something else. Or you can run."

Tara let the glow fade from her eyes. "I'd run."

The creature stood, running away.

Ari and Adriana were already healing, already getting their strength and power back, almost like nothing had happened. They let the glow fade from their eyes.

Scott returned to normal.

Lydia, Stiles, Malia, Stacie, Natalie, Liam and Angel walked down from the steps, walking closer.

Kira walked closer.

Theo stood, walking closer, letting his shifting face shift back to his human face. He looked at Adriana. "Hey, Adri. It's been a long time."

Adriana looked at him in shock. "Oh, my God. Theo."

Theo smiled. "Adriana."

"You know him?" Natalie asked.

"That's a word for it, yeah," Theo answered. Adriana looked at him with a guarded expression, starting to trace the double infinity sign tattoo on her wrist without knowing. "Trust me, Adriana, I never thought I'd see you again. Couple of months ago, I heard about the Alpha Pack's downfall, and I heard about you, Adri." Theo looked around. "That you finally got to come home, and you're well past your way on the road to redemption. Adriana, when I found out about what happened to you, turning into a half-Alpha, half-Beta half-breed with your twin sister..." He smiled, shaking his head. "I just couldn't believe it, Adri."

Adriana was very apprehensive, very nervous, really expressionless. "What do you want?"

"Me and my family were drawn here to Beacon Hills," Theo told them. He looked over all of them. "And I want to know if I can be part of your pack."

They were all surprised, looking at Adriana.

Adriana looked down, swallowing, avoiding everyone's gazes.

Inside - Hallway

Everyone but Tara, Natalie, Liam and Theo walked in.

Lydia and Ari were asking Adriana about Theo.

"Who is this kid, Adri?" Lydia asked. "And why haven't we even heard about him before?"

Adriana walked toward her locker, opening it, putting her wet jacket inside, pulling out a dry one, pulling it on. "Because that part of my life is done. Okay? It's over with. Theo is from a very, very terrible part of the five years that I had been gone, and I wanted to forget about it. All right?"

"And which part is that, Adri?" Ari asked. "When you were with the pack that kidnapped you, or when you were with the Alpha Pack?"

Adriana sighed, closing her locker, turning to face them, tracing the double infinity sign tattoo on her wrist. "I will tell you guys everything. All right? Just not tonight, please. Tonight's supposed to be fun, and I don't want to ruin that by taking a trip down memory lane."

The others walked closer.

"I think that's a fair deal," Kira told them.

"Well, I don't," Stiles told them. "Adriana's past is sketchy and terrifying at best." He looked at Adriana. "No offense, Adriana."

Adriana shook her head. "None taken."

Stiles looked at the rest of them. "I'm sorry, but every time we meet someone from Adriana's past, bad things happen."

"The only ones you met from my past is the Alpha Pack," Adriana told them.

"Point made and proven," Stiles told them.

"I'm kind of more concerned about the guy who just tried to kill Ari and Adriana," Scott told them.

Malia's phone vibrated.

Malia read the email, looking at them in relief. "I'm in."

(Song:) Ava - Famy

Everyone smiled.

Stiles made a winning gesture.

"I passed," Malia told them. Stiles and Malia embraced, pulling away. "I'm officially a senior."

Angel, Lydia, Kira and Malia hugged, pulling away.

Ari, Adriana and Malia hugged, pulling away.

Scott, Stacie and Malia hugged, pulling away.

"Thank God," Angel told them. "The whole senior class is here. Are we doing this or not?"

Stiles and Malia walked along, holding an arm around each other.

Stacie and Ari linked their arms, walking along.

Adriana and Lydia linked their arms, walking along.

Angel and Kira linked their arms, walking along.

Scott followed them.

Library

The entire senior class was in the library, signing their initials on bookshelves on the balcony above the main floor.

A boy named Chayton Ruelle signed his initials as C.R. He turned to see Angel behind him, holding the marker toward her. Angel smiled kindly, taking the marker from him, signing her initials next to his. A.F. Chayton smirked slightly, walking away. Angel watched him go curiously as she handed Kira the marker.

"This isn't vandalism, is it, Angel?" Kira asked.

"Not technically," Angel answered, backing away next to the railing.

Kira signed her initials on the other side of Angel's. K.Y. She smiled, handing the marker to Stiles, backing away toward the railing, next to Angel.

Stiles signed his real initials, with the letter of his first real name inside of his nickname. M.S. He handed Lydia the marker, backing away next to the railing.

Lydia signed her initials. L.M. She handed Malia the marker.

Malia looked for a clear space, writing her first initial. M. She struggled with the decision to write either H for Hale or T for Tate, to go with Peter or her adoptive father. She finally wrote T, smiling a small smile, handing the marker to Scott, backing away toward the railing.

Scott found initials on the shelf that said T.H, like Tara Hale. He smirked, signing his initials. S.M. He looked over all of the initials so far, smiling a small smile, handing Adriana the marker, backing away toward the railing.

Adriana tried to find a clear spot to write her initials, seeing a clear spot between the initials B.T. and T.R, like Brett Talbot and Theo Raeken, signing her own initials. A.M. She handed the marker to Ari, smiling a small smile, winking, backing away toward the railing.

Ari found the initials for I.L. on the shelf, like Isaac Lahey. She smiled a small, reminiscent smile, signing her initials, the same as Adriana's. A.M. She looked at Stacie, smiling a small smile, handing her the marker, backing away toward the railing.

Stacie tried to find a clear spot to write her initials, seeing the initials D.H. on the shelf. She sighed, nostalgic, signing her initials in the space next to it. S.S. She saw same letter for both initials. It apparently made her think of another girl that had the same letter for both initials. She wrote A.A for Allison Argent, handing the marker to another student behind her, backing away toward the railing.

Scott, Kira, Angel, Lydia, Ari, Stacie, Adriana, Stiles and Malia all stood together. They looked at each other, nostalgic for Allison.

"She would have been with us," Stiles told them.

Scott nodded. "Yeah."

Stacie smiled a small smile. "She still is."

Ari nodded in agreement. "She always will be."

Hallway

Malia, Lydia, Stiles, Scott, Ari, Stacie, Adriana, Kira and Angel walked down the wide staircase, with Scott and Ari leading the way, knowing the next day would bring the start of senior year and everything that would come with it. (Slow motion)

Dark Laboratory

The creature fell to his knees, his hands bleeding from where Tara had cut off his fingers to cut off his claws so he couldn't hurt anyone again. He looked up. "Give me another chance. I want more power. I could do with a little more."

There was an strange clicking sound that sounded like a metallic insect.

Three figures in long coats and odd, steampunk masks approached him. They seemed to be slightly out of phase with reality. Their bodies seemed to blur in and out of focus.

One of the figures had a yellow eye glass.

One of the figures had a cane.

The other seemed to be shorter than the others.

Figure 1 drew a sword.

"No, no, wait!" the creature told them. "Wait, wait, wait!"

"Your condition worsens," Figure 1 told him.

"I'm okay," the creature told them. "I'm okay. Just give me another chance."

"You were supposed to remove the obstacles," Figure 1 told him. "Our time is limited."

"Whatever you're here to do, I can help you," the creature told them.

Figure 1 shook his head. "No second chances."

"I can help you," the creature told them.

Figure 2 and Figure 3 repeated. "No second chances."

Figure 1 pulled back the sword.

"No!" the creature told him. "No!"

Figure 1 slashed the creature deeply in the chest, making him scream in pain, pulling it out.

The creature fell to the floor on his back, gasping for his last, dying breath, drifting into death.

His chest wound was bleeding black blood.

Eight crows flew out of the opening, flying around, cawing.

"No," Lydia answered.

Lydia shook her head. "Oh, you're not Aiden. You're not real."

"Tell me, Lydia," Aiden told her.

The hallucination faded away.

Valack replaced Aiden's place. He was the doctor in Eichen House from season 4. He no longer having a hole or a third eye in his head. "Tell me what happened to them. What happened to your friends?"

Valack started the drill, turning it toward Lydia, coming closer and closer with it.

5.02 "Parasomnia" Trailer

From 5.02 "Parasomnia", outside the school, Ari and Adriana stepped off of Ari's bike, taking off their helmets, putting them down.

Theo got out of his parents' car.

Angel, Stacie and Stiles looked toward Ari, Adriana and Theo.

Ari and Adriana looked toward Theo.

Lydia: (voice over) "Next on Worlds Colliding (Teen Wolf)"

Theo saw Adriana, smiling, waving.

Adriana seemed guarded, waving back halfheartedly.

Angel: (voice over from 5.02 Parasomnia) "Why are you so suspicious of this guy?"

From 5.02 "Parasomnia", in an unknown location in two cells, a young boy was in a cell, on the floor, waking up.

A young girl was on the other side of the bars, in her own cell, crawling closer, looking at him worriedly.

"I'm Adriana," Young Adriana told him. "What's your name?"

"Theo," Young Theo answered.

From 5.02 "Parasomnia", in the courtyard of the school, Scott, Stiles, Stacie, Ari, Adriana and Theo were talking.

"Lone wolves, they don't make it on their own," Theo told them.

Scott, Stiles, Stacie, Ari and Adriana stood, grabbing their bags.

"We have to give people the benefit of the doubt sometimes," Scott told them.

"There's something off about him," Stiles told them. "I can feel it."

From 5.02 "Parasomnia", in the school hallway, the hallway was dark and deserted.

One of the lockers nearby began oozing black liquid.

The black liquid pooled on the floor

From 5.02 "Parasomnia", in the school hallway, Liam and Mason were talking.

"There's something I gotta tell you," Liam told him.

From 5.02 "Parasomnia", outside the school, Malia almost crashed her car.

Sheriff: (voice over from 5.02 Parasomnia) "If they're really guilty..."

From 5.02 "Parasomnia", in the school hallway, Liam hesitated, slowing to a stop, turning around to face the wolf, shifting, roaring.

Sheriff: (voice over from 5.02 Parasomnia) "They always make a mistake."

From 5.02 "Parasomnia", in the woods, Adriana sighed in exasperation, turning to face Ari. "What do you want from me?"

"I just want the truth," Ari answered calmly, gently.

From 5.02 "Parasomnia", in the woods at the tree, Adriana and Theo were talking.

"You've changed, Adri," Theo told her.

Adriana was trying not to let him see how affected by all of this she really was. "So have you."

On the outer edge of the treeline, Stiles, Natalie and Liam were watching.

From 5.02 "Parasomnia", in the woods, Ari and Adriana were sitting on Adriana's car's hood. Adriana was crying.

Ari looked at Adriana sympathetically, sadly, pained by her twin's pain, wrapping an arm around her.
