Warnings: some suggestive scenes and comments, but aside from that nothing else (I don't remember if I mentioned it before, but there will be no smut on this story, and I also wanna clarify that the way I write the enha members or any other idols that might appear in here doesn't reflect how I see them, once I start writing they're just characters to me)

Jaeyun was glad the music was loud, that way people wouldn't walk into her studio, believing she was working.

Well, she was working, at least until Jay showed up. She was supposed to be working on some songs for their new mini album, but there was just something about him (or his lips) that made her forget all her worries.

She had turn up the music on purpose.

Jay's hands were grabbing her thighs, holding her on his lap as he sat on her desk chair. The tingly feeling that his touch caused wasn't gone, but Jaeyun had grown accustomed to it. She liked it. Something had shifted in the air between them after that night, now a couple of weeks ago. Jaeyun felt closer to Jay, not just physically, but emotionally. Aside from her sharing her insecurities, he had shared some of his own. His lack of experience in the relationship department was one of them, to which Jaeyun reminded him that they were in it together.

She'll love to learn with him.

Her sister Nari had stayed in Korea for a week, even met the members as well, which made Jaeyun so happy. She hadn't seen her parents for the rest of that week, she didn't even know when they left and she was happy with that.

Saying goodbye to her sister for a second time seemed like no big deal, but once Jaeyun was at the airport with her, she suddenly became unable to let go of their hug.

After many teary chuckles, Nari had left. And this time, Jaeyun wasn't alone.

Now, weeks later, she had been working at her studio, her group's comeback right around the corner when Jay had texted her if he could go see her. She gladly accepted.

She didn't know how they ended up in the position they were at now, her sitting on his lap, his hands on her thighs and lips connected. She wasn't complaining though.

They finally separated, both taking deep breaths and locking eyes, instantly chuckling. Something about Jay's dishevelled hair and red lips made Jaeyun laugh harder, falling against his chest and making the desk chair rock a little under their weight.

Jay's hands went up her thighs and onto her back, rubbing it slightly "How's the work doing?"

"Oh, you know" Jaeyun said, making a weird gesture with her hand "it's going"

Jay chuckled, the vibration echoing through his chest "Are you doing anything?"

"Don't laugh!" Jaeyun slapped his chest "I am working on stuff, it's just..." she trailed off, looking at her screen saver on her computer "I don't know, I'm just not convinced"

"Can I check it out?"

Jaeyun snapped her neck back at him "No"

"Why not?"

"Because... I'm slightly embarrassed" she finally admitted, shrugging her shoulders and going back to his chest. Jay hummed in response, deciding to not pressure anymore.

The truth was, Jaeyun was trying to make another song about Jay, but it was getting harder and harder to do it in a way that it didn't sound like it was a song about him.

"Soon though" Jaeyun said, lifting her head up and cupping his cheeks "I'll work on it a bit more and show it to you"

Jay smiled, hands sliding across her body to hold her waist as both brought each other closer and closer. Lips seconds away of touching.

The music stopped and Jaeyun was about to complain when she recognized her call ringtone.

"Fuck" she said, quickly getting up from Jay's lap and grabbing her phone, disabling the bluetooth and answering the incoming call, that had Yua's contact name all over.

"Hi-"

"Where the fuck are you?" Yua cut her off, not even bothering to say sorry.

"What? I'm in the- Shit" Jaeyun started answering, but quickly remembered. She was supposed to be at a meeting with their manager today.

"Yes! Shit!" Yua answered back "just come running, we'll invent an excuse later" she added quickly before ending the call.

Jaeyun looked back at her phone screen. Noticing the time and the million of unanswered texts the members had left her. She didn't even bother looking over them, knowing what they said already.

"Sorry I-"

"You have to leave?" Jay asked as Jaeyun turned around. His legs were still spread and now his fingers were locked, hands resting on his lap.

"Yeah" Jaeyun answered, eyeing him up and down as she bit her lip. God, he looked even hotter with his hair all messy. She wished she shouldn't have to leave.

Jay chuckled, almost reading her mind "You need to leave"

Jaeyun started to walk up to him "yep"

His fingers grabbed the back of her thighs almost instantly as her hands held onto his shoulders for support, locking their lips together one more time.

"Okay I- I really have to go" Jaeyun said in between laughs and more kisses from Jay "Just wait like ten minutes after I leave before you leave, so no one-"

"Sees us together" Jay concluded for her "got it" he said, already fixing his shirt and looking around for his jacket.

Jaeyun scrambled around for her jacket as well and ran to the door "Okay, bye, lov- Bye!" she opened the door and ran off before she could dwell more into the words she almost said.

Jaeyun didn't have much time to care over her dishevelled appearance before she arrived to the meeting place with her manager, hair messy and clothes moved to awkward places. Also slightly out of breath, but she knew the members were gonna pretend like they couldn't hear her deep breaths as she sat down.

Her manager didn't even look at her as she gave them the basic rundown of their new schedules, when was the photoshoot for the concept pictures and the music video filming, as well as any interviews and variety shows appearances they'd need to do.

"Jaeyun" her manager caught her attention just as she started to zone out, again thinking of Jay "you'll be making an appearance next week on a radio show" her manager explained, handing her a piece of paper with all of the information she needed. She barely looked over it before raising her head to look back at her manager "you have there any information you can mention about this comeback, so please check it carefully" she glanced at Nara as the younger girl slid down on the chair, everyone remembering when she spoiled an important part of a past title track of them "we don't want any incidents, again"

Jaeyun nodded, again barely glancing at the paper and sitting back against her chair. Their manager left them all alone to discuss anything else between them.

As soon as she left, Raon turned around to look at her "where were you?"

"I got caught up working, sorry"

"We texted you" Yua said "like a lot"

"I was listening to music" Jaeyun shrugged her shoulders "it was really loud, sorry"

Raon decided to not dwell in it further, looking back at the two maknaes and asking them about their schedules. Jaeyun took that time to fully sink in her chair and close her eyes, finally being able to relax a bit from the commotion.

"Your clothes are all messed up" Yua said.

"I ran here from my studio"

"You're out of breath"

"I ran here-"

"Your lipstick's messed up too"

Shit.

"Uh" Jaeyun mumbled, trying desperately to come up with a lie.

"Are you getting laid-?"

"Do not finish that sentence!" Jaeyun yelled quickly, fixing up her posture on the chair "I was sleeping, okay? I just... fell asleep on the couch and didn't realize what time it was" she lied, resisting the urge to bite her lip to avoid any suspicion. She hated lying to them, specially Yua, but if Jay and her ever decided to tell the members, they should decide it together.

Yua only raised her hands in truce, raising her eyebrows and turning slightly away from her. Jaeyun whispered a sorry at her best friend, which she accepted with a nod.

Jaeyun took this one moment of clarity to glance down at her phone, seeing the notification from Jay asking how the meeting was and letting her know he'd left her studio on time. She locked her phone again, making sure to not delete the notification to answer him later and looked up, catching Mari and Nara leaving the room for a vocal lesson.

Raon turned around "So-"

"I fell asleep, sorry" Jaeyun replied before she could even finish her sentence, not wanting to stay in the subject for much longer.

"I wasn't... gonna ask about that" Raon said, narrowing her eyes at her, almost as if trying to see through her lies. As soon as Jaeyun noticed her stare Raon erased it from her face "I was gonna ask about your schedule" she pointed at the paper Jaeyun was holding "you okay with that?"

"The radio show?" Jaeyun asked back, lifting the paper and her eyebrows "yeah, it's fine"

Yua narrowed her eyes at her "Did you look at the paper?"

"Yeah" Jaeyun glanced back "I did" she said "what about it?"

Both Raon and Yua looked at each other, almost speaking in a language that Jaeyun wasn't fluent in. Raon nodded at Yua and the Japanese girl turned to her friend, grabbing the paper and pointing at a specific word.

More like a name.

"You're doing the radio show with Jay" Yua said, her tone going softer with each word "are you gonna be okay with that?"

Technically it wasn't a lie if she said yes, right?

"So" Jaeyun said, looking at Jay as he let his coffee down on the table in front of them "we're doing that radio thing together"

"Oh right, our manager told us today" Jay said, turning towards her and letting his arm stretch through the edge of the couch they were sitting at. After some more dance lessons Jaeyun had, both Jay and her had some more time to see each other, so Jaeyun offered meeting at the rest room next to their dance practice room "So like, should we..." he trailed off, not knowing how to approach the situation.

"We should, probably" Jaeyun said, not really knowing to what she was answering "like... we're gonna have to act like things aren't really okay between us" she explained her plan "at least not act as close as we are"

"Not so much, so the company doesn't get mad"

"Exactly" Jaeyun said, fixing up her position so her legs were resting on his lap "don't you think... I mean... Do you think we should tell the others?"

"The members"

"Yeah" Jaeyun said, resting her head on her hand "I mean, I guess it could help a bit, I don't like sneaking around this much"

"Yeah, I guess it could help" almost as an instinct as he spoke, Jay's hand rested on Jaeyun's knee, every now and then tracing small circles on her skin.

"Wouldn't it be nice?" Jaeyun said "being able to hang out in your dorm" Jaeyun explained "also, I would get to know your dorm" she added with a small smile, poking his arm.

"Don't you know how it looks already?" Jay teasingly said, grabbing her legs to bring her on his lap again, starting to kiss Jaeyun's neck "I thought you said you watched Enhypen&hi, you know, like the very dedicated engene you are" Jaeyun knew he was smirking while talking as his breath tickled her neck. She wanted to stay in that moment forever, he knew how much she liked that.

But she had to tease him too "I thought you were forever too" she said, trying to sound worried.

He backed away from her neck and looked at her with doe eyes "what? I mean- I mean I am, I was just-" Jaeyun burst into laughter before he could continue.

"You look so cute when you get worried over being a good boyfriend" Jaeyun said with a smile and pecked his lips "even though you already are a perfect boyfriend" she added, not wanting to worry him more.

"That was a prank?" he asked, the grip on her waist loosening up a little.

"Just a tiny payback for teasing me over being an engene!" Jaeyun answered while making the 'little bit' sign with her fingers.

"You little monster" Jay said while holding in his laugh, and before she knew it, he was tickling her waist, making her laugh too.
