The group had moved outside for the ceremony. There was a ton of red roses and fairy lights wrapped around the alter, lights strung above head as it was dark out, safe for the moonlight. Five and Y/n were sat in the back next to each other, watching the start of the ceremony.

"Dearly beloved," Klaus began, "We're gathered here today for a good time, not a long time, so let's have a good time, huh? 'Cause the sun can't shine everyday. Can I get an amen?"

The small crowd clapped and cheered as Allison rolled her eyes, and in the row in front of her, Diego whistled.

Klaus waited until the noise ceased, "Luther, do you be taking this banging hottie to be your lady?"

"I do."

"Sloane, do you promise to love and cherish this big hairy bastard for the 24 to 48 hours?"

"Give or take a day!" Five called from the back, earning a light hit to the shoulder from Y/n.

Klaus shushed him, looking back to Sloane, "I'm gonna try."

"Well, then... I pronounce you married as shit! Viva la apocalypse!"

"This is officially worse than the apocalypse." Five commented while watching the newly weds dance. He spun around, spotting the table of champagne and taking Y/n's hand.

She stopped him, "One dance?"

"Seriously?"

"Seriously. And I know you can dance." She laughed as he sighed, the corners of his mouth turned up in a smile.

He set his empty champagne glass down on the nearest table, "Fine."

She smiled back, dragging him out to the dance floor a bit as Lila and Diego danced as well. He rested his hands around her waist as she rested hers around his neck. At some point he let his hand glide up her arm, chills dancing down her spine as he took her hand. Five spun her around and pulled her into a chaste kiss, tasting the mint flavor of her chapstick once he pulled away.

He studied the shocked look on her face that quickly melted as a smile played on her lips. He laughed and they went back to dancing. He spun her around, once again pulling her back in as the music stopped.

They were so close, his hand in hers until he dropped it, whispering in her ear as he went, "Song's over, love."

She rolled her eyes, still smiling as she went with him to grab some food and drinks. They found their own table just as everyone else had. Glancing around the room, it did look pretty sad. Some people sat by themselves and others had at least another person next to them. Five took a shot as Klaus spun around, pointing at the two.

"Cinco y ocho!"

"Oh, god," He mumbled, "What do you want?"

"Listen to me, Reggie is upstairs right now with a plan to save everything. So what say us three pop up to the suite for a little chitchat?"

"What, are you like Frick and Frack with the old man now?" Y/n queried.

"He's different. He's like a turtle. Hard on the outside, but all cute and wrinkly and occasionally delicious on the inside."

"Klaus?"

"Yeah?"

"Old dogs like me and him never change." Five shook his head, "He has never had our best interests at heart. So, my only plan for tonight is to get fucked up beyond all recognition."

"Same, I need tonight... erased from my mind."
Y/n sighed while sipping from her glass.

"Sure." Klaus took a deep breath as Five clapped his shoulder, clinking his glass against Y/n's. "Have at it, you two."

"We will!"

"Hey," Five started a little after Klaus had left to bother Luther and Sloane, "About Anne. She was—"

"Kugelblitzed. I know." Y/n took one of the shots that Five had taken, making a face of distaste after. "I figured after I hadn't seen her."

"I thought I should just let you know incase—"

"Five, love," She stopped him, setting a hand on his, "Let's just move on, okay?"

He shrugged, "Works for me."

She nodded, taking a deep breath as the elevator pinged, the door revealing Reginald. He slowly stepped forward, making his way through the banquet hall. Everyone fell silent, awkwardly watching him as he grabbed a plate of food, walking around the tables.

"He better not sit here." Diego mumbled from the table next to Five and Y/n's.

"Oh, I didn't even think of that." Y/n muttered, "I swear to god, he better not sit here."

"What is he doing here?" Ben shook his head from disbelief, "Who invited him?"

"Just suffer with us." Allison sighed, drinking from her glass.

"I can't even get invited to the bachelor party, and he's invited to this?"

"Wow, you really can't relax." Allison sighed, "Ben, chill."

Reginald glanced around at everyone. Anyone he shifted his gaze to immediately looked away. Klaus gestured for him to smile, and he did, getting a picture of him snapped.

"Is he eating a deviled egg with a knife and a fork?" Five squinted.

"That's sad. It's making me sad." Y/n shook her head, drinking some more alcohol.

Y/n watched cautiously as Lila forced Diego to introduce her to him, and not long after Reginald stood from his table. He had a microphone in hand while tapping a fork against his glass, stalking to the middle of the dance floor once all eyes were on him.

"I know it is customary for the father of the bride..." He began, instantly losing Y/n's attention as she spot Viktor and Allison from the corner of her eye.

She watched their argument build, droning out Reginald's speeches until Five spoke up.

"He just called Luther adequate." He laughed, sipping on his champagne class still.

Diego quirked a brow, "Nicest thing he's ever said to him."

"I acknowledged that, as a father, I was not without my faults." He continued as Y/n tuned into to his speech a little, "I hope these shortcoming will be seen as only a rough patch on an otherwise verdant lawn."

She waved a dismissive hand, glancing back to the argument by the wedding cake. She attempted reading their lips as it looked like Viktor was apologizing, asking for forgiveness, only to bitterly be told no. Luther looked over too as Allison raised her a voice a little, walking off to the elevator after finalizing the argument.

Y/n sighed, leaning back in her chair and turning her attention to Reginald.

"The sun rises over a lily's field. A mother veiled, her lips concealed. The mourners come in droves of black to bury what their hearts unpack. With shallow breath and time eclipsed, I pray you miss deaths gentle kiss." He raised his glass, taking a sip as people started clapping.

"That doesn't make sense!" Ben complained.

"I looked away for two seconds and he recited an... oddly moving death poem?" Y/n spoke with a question mark in her tone as she clapped slowly.

"All right, all right. Time to turn those frowns upside down!" The receptionist, now working as a DJ spoke into the microphone. "This one is for all the party people in the place."

Klaus stood, taking Y/n and Fives hand and dragging them out onto the dance floor.
