The group of four were still walking around in circles, getting themselves stuck in an incredibly obnoxious loop as the building shook. There was a low rumble as the hallway shook, Five taking a hold around Y/n's arm lest anything happen or jump out at them. The lights shifted to a neon yellow, almost like spotlights peeking through the cracks of the ceiling. They brightened intensely, so much so that Y/n put a hand up to block the rays of light. The hanging lights swung in sync with each vibration inching up the buildings walls. The four paused for a moment before continuing the loop around, inching around each corner with caution until the one they rounded had a guardian of some sort waiting.

The guardian snarled, swinging it's weapon around as Ben scoffed. "Really? A samurai?"

From behind Y/n, Sloane pushed by her with a yell, charging at the keeper covered in plates of metal. She flipped over it with the use of her abilities, and using her gravitational powers to hold it in place.

"Revenge looks good on her." Ben nodded as Y/n brushed past him.

She looked at her hands, holding her right one up to burn the guardian, figuring that might be of more use. She let a flame dance across her fingers, and she felt it, but perhaps her eyes played tricks on her as she couldn't see it.

"Oh, you've gotta be shitting me." She mumbled as a flickering flame moved around her hand.

Five yanked an axe from off the wall, "What?"

"My powers are, like, mixing?"

"So, what? You're ice and fire are invisible now?"

She shook her head with a scoff, letting flames rain out from her hand against the back of the metal. Once she stopped, Five teleported closer and swung the axe down against the guardian, and they repeated the process as Sloane held it in place. Y/n attempting to soften the metal, and Five swinging the axe against it. She attempted multitasking, seeing if she could flicker herself invisible, or at least a hand, but it was no use. Every time she attempted to go unseen, her flames would be the only thing invisible.

Eventually, Sloane's hold faltered and the group made a break for the laundry room, the stomps creeping up on them as they all ducked behind some dryers.

"You've hit him with your axe five times. He should be dead by now." Ben hissed.

"It's the armor. It's like hitting cement even after Y/n's melted it."

"There's a space," Sloane breathed. "Between the backplates."

"We need to get behind him." Y/n nodded.

"Let's kill this thing." She agreed.

"Wait—" Five tried as Sloane stood up, running out from behind the dryers.

"Hey, asshole!" She ran up along the wall, taking a cut to the arm as the guardian chucked some sort of blade at her. She fell to the ground with a grunt.

Five knocked Y/n's shoulder, telling her to do something, preferably anything as he blinked away. She stood up and froze, thinking of what to do. The keeper was hovered over Sloane as Five blinked up, taking a hit to the face that knocked him out almost entirely.

She finally shot out enough ice from her left palm to swallow the keeper for a moment, leaving the backplates open. She rushed over to the axe, knowing exactly what she had to do. The ice slowly cracked as she rushed past, a huge chuck blasting against her head as the guardian broke free. She hazed in and out of consciousness, but was able to make out Ben climbing over the heap of dryers. He wrapped four tentacles - if Y/n wasn't seeing doubles - around the keeper, holding him in place until breaking through, slicing a part of Bens abilities.

She pulled herself up from the ground as the same time Five did, blasting him with flames while he picked up the axe. He swung down between the backplates.

The guardian dropped to the ground, axe stuck into it's back as it fell and didn't get back up.

The group regathered in the lobby, pulling Klaus up from the ground.

"We thought you died." Y/n told him while helping pull him up.

"If only." He grunted while getting pulled up, holding onto Allison's arms.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, I think so." He breathed.

Viktor nodded and turned to Five, surveying the cut on his face and noticing that Y/n had one as well on her temple. "You look like hell."

"Why don't you try killing a guardian?" He retorted, and Viktor seemed taken aback.

"We just did." He turned to Lila for confirmation and she nodded.

"So did we."

"Klaus," Sloane started, holding onto a wound, "I thought you were dead."

"Yes, yes, I'm alive and amazing, despite Dads attempts to bash my brains in, but tearful reunions later." He dismissed it, "What you guys need to know right now is that... Dad killed Luther. And he locked me out of the tunnel, and he rang that stupid bell!"

The group slowly turned to face Reginald by the revolving doors, Five calling out to him first.

"What's your plan, old man?"

"We don't have time for this." He retorted.

"You killed Luther!" Sloane shouted, rage evident on her features.

"I had no choice." He defended himself, "You refused to come together as a team."

"All of you're stupid myths and stories," Ben started, seemingly just as mad as everyone else, "There were never seven bells or Norsemen. You brought us here to die!"

"That's not so." He flipped through the pages of his notebook, "Somewhere in this hotel is the key to resetting the universe. We just need to find the sigil!"

"I don't care about your stupid sigil!" Sloane yelled, "None of us do."

"We barely survived that guardian with his stupid helmet and his sickle!"

"The guardian we killed had an axe."

Y/n looked to Viktor, "Ours had a sword."

Lila and Diego looked to each other, "There's one left."

"We have to go after it." Sloane told the group as Five departed from them, rushing up the flight of steps.

"Because that worked so well the last time." Ben noted, sarcasm evident in his tone.

"You got any painkillers, or could you just please shut up?" Klaus voiced his complaints while holding a hand to his head. "Or maybe just talk a little duller?"

"Hey," Five shouted from the second floor, "I found the sigil! It's on the—"

The roof broke through in the midst of his sentence, a scythe getting tossed out and slicing off Fives arm. The last guardian, and arguably the toughest looking to defeat, landed on the ground with shards of glass scattering across the tiles. The scythe was tossed out again, ripping a part of Klaus's torso, and some sort of blast knocked Diego, Allison, and Lila back. At the end of a chain, something punched Bens gut.

Y/n stepped to the side as a chain was tossed out, a weapon hooked to the end that was moving to fast for her to see. She grabbed the chain, burning the end off and swinging it back at the final keeper, managing to have it stumble back. Eight blasted it over with ice, and it held for a few seconds before breaking free, so she did it again, and again, and again until it was useless.

She's not entirely sure what caused it, but their was burning sensation as a red liquid flowed down her arm from her shoulder. Her head was knocked so that hard her vision swam and her hearing was nothing but awry, unable to make out anything Reginald was shouting at them. And she's sure she was seeing things as Luther appeared to pull Sloane in a tight hug, slowly fading away and dematerializing in her grasp.

Her eyes shut, just for a moment until she heard Five shouting, "The sigil is in the floor! It's the stars!"

"Find a star on the sigil, and stand on it!" Reginald shouted from next to where Y/n had been tossed back like a rag doll.

Klaus gasped back to life as everyone shockingly followed his orders, probably because the guardian was readying to stand back up again. As everyone stood on a star, gears whirred as energy started to resonate throughout the area, clicking sounds popping out as everyone claimed a star.

"Seven points, seven of us?" Viktor shouted while stepping on a star, "We're the bells?"

Allison moved to claim a star, "No." Reginald told her, "Not you."

Y/n pulled herself up from the tiles, barely halfway through the agonizing action when Reginald spoke to her as well.

"Not you either, Number Eight." He kicked her legs out from under her, her head thumping against the tiles, "Especially not you."

Was the final thing she heard as the laceration on her shoulder burned white hot, and her head pounded from taking its third hit, accompanied by any other bumps and bruises she had picked up through out her battles.

Vision swimming with black specs and her hearing nothing but ringing, the last thing she saw was Five stepping on the final star.

When Y/n awoke next, most likely a few minutes later, there was bright neon lights shining down on her, and the sounds of painful screams came into her ears. She glanced up to see everyone, safe for her, Allison, and Reginald, quiet literally getting the life sucked from them.

"The particles inside their bodies are the only thing that fuel the machine." Reginald explained, and a few dots clicked in Y/n's head on what was happening.

"He killed Luther." Five strained, speaking to Allison, "He tried to kill Klaus. He won't stop until we're all dead."

Reginald kept moving his hands along some sort of hologram touchscreen, the group of seven letting out even more painful screams.

"Okay, you need to stop!" Allison tried again.

"I'm almost done! And when I am, you and I will get what we came here for."

"No, you're killing them!"

"Everything in life has a price."

Allison watched them all for a moment more, and when her final plead for him to stop didn't work, even with her powers, Y/n pulled herself up from the ground. She was exhausted, both mentally and physically, and was gripping onto her left shoulder with her right hand. She dragged herself over to Reginald, signature icicle in hand and she stabbed it between his shoulder blades.

He faltered, stumbling back as Allison grabbed the scythe, slicing it down on his head and the group finally collapsed, Y/n included.

Allison took a few deep breaths, stepping into the panel he'd been working on, hovering her hand over a button.

"Allison," Five coughed, "Don't touch that button. We don't know what it does."

"Allison, stop!" Viktor stood, readying his powers despite looking so weak. "Don't make me do this!"

"Do you trust me?"

He hesitated, slowly stopping his powers. A chorus of complaints rung out and Allison pressed the button.

An elevator bell rung out the next moment they knew.

They all stepped out onto an open roof, some garden work around them and paths leading to some sort of statue in the middle. There was cars in the distance honking, police sirens, and the lights flickered a bit as they approached the center.

They all looked around in awe, Lila's laugh ringing out, "Cool."

"Luther?" Viktor questioned as he stepped out of the elevator last, not as near bulked as before.

"Oh shit." He breathed, "You can see me?"

"Yes!" Viktor nodded and got pulled in for a hug.

"I'm alive!"

Viktor pulled back from the hug, "That's not all, big guy."

"Huh?" He looked down at his hands and arms, seeing that he was back to normal again. "My body! I look amazing."

"Luther's all svelte now." Klaus hummed.

Five held up his arm, only then realizing it was back. Y/n touched her shoulder to find that the laceration was gone, as well as her other injury's, and Diego held his hand up, his fingers back.

"Wait. I gotta show Sloane." Luther shook his head, glancing around for her, but she wasn't there. "This is so cool. Where's Sloane?"

"Oh, she was, uh... She was right behind me—" Klaus shrugged.

"When Allison hit the button." Lila interrupted.

"She's gone too."

"You know, I don't know about you guys, but I have not felt this good in years." Klaus sighed.

"Does anyone know where we are?" Y/n questioned, looking around at all the vines and the night sky.

"The hotel. Or at least this is where it used to be."

"I think the old man did it." Five scoffed. "I think he reset the universe."

"Sloane? Sloane!" Luther tried calling out, storming over to Five and taking him ahold by his blazer. "I don't care about any resets, all right? I want my wife back. Where is she, Five?"

"I'm glad you're alive, but take your hand off me."

He pulled him closer, "Not until you give me an answer."

"Okay, screw this." Five shrugged, and attempted blinking away, but it didn't work. "Somethings wrong."

"That's right. You're about to get your ass kicked."

"Yeah, kick his ass!" Diego encouraged him.

"20 bucks says Five wins." Y/n bet, and he agreed.

"No, you morons. My power. I can't blink."

"Yeah, right." Diego scoffed, whipping a knife out to twirl between his fingers before dropping it. "That's not good."

Everyone tried testing out their powers, but it was no use. Five turned to Y/n with a sigh as she was running her hands over some flower petals.

"Do you have your powers?"

"Probably not." She shrugged, holding her hands out.

She went to utilize them how she normally did, a flame spilling off her hand to the grass. Her eyes went wide, stomping the flame out, and freezing it with her other hand as it spread.

"Never mind. I have mine."

"That's not fair!" Diego called her out.

"Wait, wait, wait! How do the rest of us get them back, you idiots?" Ben stopped them.

"I gotta... I gotta go find my wife." Luther shook his head, backing away from the group.

"No! Luther, you can't go. You were dead five minutes ago. You're fragile!" Klaus called to him, turning to the group, "I gotta go after him."

"No, Klaus! Wait!"

"I'm out, bitches." Ben backed out of the area as well.

"Come on." Viktor sighed. "We should stick together, and figure this out—"

"What are we supposed to do?" Diego called out, looking to Lila.

"Live our lives?" She shrugged and the two walked off a beat later.

Five sighed, running a hand over his face and looking a bit disoriented, "What they said."

He shrugged and grabbed Y/n's hand, their fingers entwined as they left together.
