Juliet sat next to Ron in class, wasting time in class by letting her fingers dance across his right thigh. Ron was as red as his hair, squirming slightly but kicking her when she'd take her hand off his leg. Snapes voice would usually throw him off but the Weasley boy found he could drown it out each time Juliets delicate fingers ran from his knee to his upper thigh before disappearing, to his dismay.

The moment was almost perfect until a voice rung, "Juliet Knightly."

Umbridge stood by the doorway with a fake, frog like smile on her face. Her eyes fixed onto Juliet immediately, as did the rest of her class. Juliet flushed slightly under all the attention, clearing her throat, "Ma'am?"

"I'd like a word with you in my office, dear." Umbridges smile sent a chill down Juliets arms as she looked to Ron worried, "You alone, Miss Knightly."

Ron gave her a small nod, a forced smile that she saw straight through. Her hands left him as she stood, looking to Professor Snape in hopes he would get her out of this. Snape sighed at Juliets hopeful eyes as he turned to the small woman, "What is this regarding? Miss Knightly has a very important quiz."

He was only doing this because Draco let it slip to him about her family blood line.

"Just a few question, Severus, she'll be back very quickly." Umbridge said with a wide eyed blink, Snape nodded to Juliet as she sighed. Her flats, the pair Ron loved best, stepped over her bag on the ground, making her way down the isle. Pansy and Blaise attempted to give her a small nod, seeing as though Juliet looked extremely uncomfortable walking toward the woman.

When Juliet was stood before Delores, her cold hands resting on Juliets back to push her out of the classroom and down the hall. Juliet stood much taller then she did, a way that had Juliet straining her neck to peer down at her. The new professor didn't say a word until she open her door, the meowing noise of the cats on the wall being heard.

"Tea?" Umbridge asked as she poured herself a cup, circling her desk to take a seat.

"I'm okay, thank you." Juliet said as kind as she could be to the reason Hogwarts had been a shit show all year. Umbridge motioned for her to take a seat, Juliet did with wide strides and a clear of her throat. Her Hufflepuff robes were slightly uncomfortable in the scratchy chair, making it feel as though Juliet had fallen into a thorn bush Neville was messing with, "Am I in trouble for something?"

"Course not, what would you be in trouble for?" Umbridge laughed slightly as she sipped her tea. Juliet said nothing, though she could imagine she could be in trouble for many things at this point, she didn't want to risk it right now, "I only wanted to ask you a few question about the previous years... events."

"Events?" Juliet questioned, her dark eyebrows knitted slightly as she stared at the pink woman in confusion, "I'm not sure I follow."

"About the final task at the Triwizard Tournament." Umbridge spoke with no remorse or sensitivity regarding what all of Hogwarts and all of the Ministry knew. Juliets face fell as her hard and intimidating stare dropped, she'd looked like a sad and scared little girl.

"I wasn't there, I was in the stands." Juliet spoke, hoping they could avoid a conversation about Cedric. Umbridge was the last person in all of Hogwarts Juliet would want to talk about Cedric too, and that was saying a lot with Peeves just down the hallway.

"Oh yes, that's what i'm regarding." Umbridge said with a hem hem that made Juliet cringe and cross one of her long legs over the other, picking at her lacy gloves nervously, "You were rather close with Mr.Diggory, weren't you."

Juliet wanted to stay respectful for Ron's sake, knowing if she got a detention she wouldn't be able to see him after school considering they only had one class together this year. But the woman before her was making it painfully hard, "Why do you care?"

Umbridge looked taken back by Juliets words, setting her cup down as she straight up with a surprised laugh, "You will watch your tone, Miss Knightly. That is, unless you would rather me lay it on you as it is?"

"Please do." Juliet spoke bitterly, knowing whatever Umbridge was getting at could have been achieved without a conversation about Juliets dead best friend.

"Your scene in the stands did not go unnoticed by the Ministry, nor will e we choose to ignore it like Dumbledore has." Umbridge spoke stern, raising a thin eyebrows toward the girl who was attempting to keep a straight face at all times toward her, "Care to tell me what that was about?"

Juliet wished she was out of here, she wished she was in her hallway were she had full rang to take deep breaths or think over what she'd have to say. No one mentioned what had happened in the stands, they all knew what it was but avoided any conversation with her regarding that day at all, "I was in pain."

"Pain? So much pain you cause the speakers to bust with that loud of a scream?" Umbridge didn't believe Juliet one bit, destine to get to the bottom of whatever Juliet was and whatever had happened in those few moments before Cedric died.

"Good set of lunges on me." Juliet said as she crossed her arms, raising a eyebrows as she leaned back, "Care to hear, Professor?"

"No." the woman in pink spoke quickly as she stared at Juliet, "Are you familiar with the term... banshee?"

The word haunted Juliet, she hated it but she was more the familiar with it. She researched it all summer long, constantly in hopes of learning how to control or get a handle on herself. She found nothing, that was aside from horrible legends dated centuries ago.

"No."

"Perhaps I should inform you then." Umbridge spoke as she rose from her chair, taking a final sipe from her tea before circling her desk again to stand above Juliet, "A Banshee is a wailing woman, a scream so loud it has killed the strongest of people long ago. They usually consist of spirits but aren't strangers to exist within the living either. They wail the way they do to warn others of a death coming."

Juliet knew the exact definition, she was saying Umbridges words with her in her head as she sat up slightly to hide to look she'd had no control over, "Interesting, i'm sure we'll learn about them, or maybe not anymore."

"Oh no, certainly not." Umbridge laughed slightly at Juliets words as the Knightly girls blood boiled, "Teach on such demonized things will not be tolerated here at Hogwarts, nor should it have ever been."

"Professor Lupin spoke on them so everyone says." Juliet stood up for herself quickly after remembering Ron saying the late Professor had, "He described them as unique and beautiful creatures that are only misunderstood."

"Well, spoken like a former monster himself." Umbridge laughed at Juliets weak way of defending herself with the comparison. Juliet liked Remus, he was kind to her and they were similar in many ways, she wanted nothing more than to defend him against the horrible woman before her. But she couldn't, she couldn't give a more guilty reason.

"Pardon me, Professor, but what does the teaching of banshees have to do with me?" Juliet spoke softly and innocently, a voice she'd often times put on to achieve something she wanted desperately. Juliet wasn't a idiot, though Ginny would joke as otherwise, she was well aware Umbridge along with everyone else was onto what she was.

"Only assuming you'd have a interest, to better your education that is." Umbridge lied, a way of letting Juliet knew she was lying, "Because you are similar that is."

"Not interested, thank you though." Juliet said with a glare, one she couldn't help while drawing blood on her lip from how hard she bit down, "I'll be needed back in class for my quiz."

"That you will." Umbridge confirmed as Juliet stood, she noticed the woman began to stare at her glove covered hands that made Juliet tuck them behind her back, "Off you go then."

"Oh what a wanker." Ron said annoyed as he held his girlfriends hand, walking within the snow alongside her while Harry and Hermione walked just a few feet infront of them, "She really said that to you?"

"Exact words." Juliet confirmed with a nod, fixing Ron's hat to go over his ears better, "The nerve that parasite has, and to criticize Lupin? She's just asking for me to fight her."

"Please don't fight anyone, Juliet" Hermione said hopefully over her shoulder to the taller teen, "You're already on her radar, just like Harry."

"Well, Harry is too respectful to fight her." Juliet said as the Potter boy look at her with amused eyes, getting a hit in the arm from Hermione.

"You could take her, Jules." Ron encouraged as he kissed the side of Juliets head and tightened his grip on her hand.

"Ronald!" Hermione scolded him with a look of disbelief toward the Weasley boy.

"Don't worry, Mione, i'll only hex thorns in her tea." Juliet joked as the boys laughed, only getting a groan from the Granger girl in return, "Whats she gonna do? Threaten me from down there? Wonder what the weathers like near my knees."

"You'd know what the weathers like near my knees." Ron mumbled as his face flushed, getting a quick peak to the back of the hand before Juliet twirled him slightly.

"Harry, what are we even doing anyways? You're really gonna do this class thing?" Juliet spoke as she walked quickly to catch up with the pair before the couple, "Professor Potter."

"Oh, come off it." Harry laughed at her words as he nudged her slightly, "It's only a attempt."

"He'll do great." Hermione spoke in encouragement, Juliet nodded as she pulled Ron closer into her side.

"No, this is mad. Who'd wanna be taught by me? I'm a nutter, remember?" Harry asked with a scoff as the four neared Hogsmeade.

"Look on the bright side, can't be worse then ol' toad face." Ron spoke with a knowing shrug of his shoulders at his attempt to make Harry feel better.

"Yeah, at least you don't smell of cats." Juliet said as she leaned over to sniff Harry, "Just like ink and.... Cho Chang's future lover."

Harry gave Juliet a eye roll as he pushed the door open, "Thanks, you lot."

"I'm here for you mate." Ron mumbled as the four walked into the tiny room, crowded with trusted individuals.
