"The nurse." Adeline, Juliets sick mother, smiled when Juliet walked into the room, "About time you've showed, I've been waiting."

"Nate." Juliets voice broke in a whisper as she turned to her cousin in the hallway, not expecting this type of horror until her mother addressed her as someone else.

"You can do this." Nate whispered to her, grabbing her forearm, "She needs you."

Juliet nodded to the best of her ability, sucking in a breath as she walked into the room.

"Hi." Juliet smiled to the woman as her chest heaved.

"Do you have my medication? It's been gone for weeks." Adeline complained as Juliet sat down on the chair beside her bed.

"I'm not the nurse." she spoke to her mother, reaching by the bedside and grabbing the pill bottle, "Is this them?"

The ill woman's face lit up at the sight, "You've found them! Such a smart girl!"

Juliet cracked a small smile as she gave the woman one of the blue pills that didn't do anything for her.

"I heard voices, who's all here?" Adeline asked alarmed as Juliet shook her head.

"Only Nate and a friend of mine, you know Nate?" Juliet asked, unaware if her mother had already forgotten.

"The chief! Of course!" Adeline said with a bright smile, clapping her hands and making Juliet jump, "But who are you?"

The burning feeling swelled in Juliets chest as she blinked away her tears the best of her ability, "Juliet. A friend."

"What a beautiful name." the woman said with a smile, touching her heart, "I've always liked that name because it's my-"

"Favorite book." Juliet finished her sentence as the woman's face fell, a odd look on her face.

"I don't like this." Adeline said as she began to violently shake her head, "You're here to trick me!"

"Mom! It's me!" Juliet sobbed as she stood, grabbing the woman's hands tightly.

"No! No! You're the government! You're trying to take me!" Adeline yelled as Juliet sobbed harder, begging her mom to remember her.

"Juliet!" Nate shouted at her as he threw the door open, just in time to see his Aunt, who was basically a mother to him, strike Juliet across the face. The teen gasped as she backed away, silents fell over the room while she held her check, more shock then pain as she looked at her mother.

"Don't you bring her back in here! How dare you!" Adeline shouted to Nate who cradled Juliet and pulled her out of the room into the tiny hallway.

"I told you that you can't push it." Nate said, examining the small gash on her check from Adelines rings, a bruise surely to form by tomorrow.

"She's my mom." Juliet spoke, she couldn't cry, she just felt empty.

"She can't remember that, Juliet, it's not her fault." Nate said softly as he put his hands on her shoulders, "She won't remember this tomorrow, you can try again."

"I've gotta leave early, Ron has to go home and I need to be at school." Juliet said as she whipped her eyes before any more tears could fall, "This was a bad idea."

"Juliet." Nate tried to call out to her but her long legs took her quickly down the hallway and into her room.

Ron bounced off her bed from the way he was laid out across it, not expecting her to come back so quickly. He sat up better with a clear of his throat, hoping she hadn't seen the scene before, "You okay?"

"Yeah, i'm fine." Juliet lied with a blink of her sad, dry eyes. Ron went silent at Juliets expression, he'd found it easier when she'd cry instead of hide it from him. She crawled into the bed quickly, causing Ron to go to move before the girl turn around, grasping his right arm, pulling it around her to prevent him from leaving.

Ron cleared his throat awkwardly as he held her body close but at the same time attempted to move away to prevent something very awkward from accruing. Juliet didn't seem to care though, because her just slightly longer legs laced around his to keep him close in every way. Ron looked around awkwardly for a moment, not sure if he found the situation comfortable or not. The way they were laying was far from comfortable to him, Juliet got that quickly as she turned.

Ron sighed in relief when she put his left arm around her shoulders instead, letting herself rest her head in the crock of his neck while dripping the right one over her again.

"This is better." Ron said awkwardly as Juliet hummed, closing her eyes for the first time in nearly twenty four hours.

"Do the two of you need a ride to the train?" Nate asked in a whispered early the next morning. Juliet stood in the doorway of her moms bedroom, watching her sleep peacefully while Nate spoke to Ron in the kitchen, a cup of tea in hand.

"Oh, no, Jules said she wanted to show me something before we left." Ron said with a clear of his throat, avoiding eye contact with Nate at all cost as he stood with the two bags by the door.

"Jules." Nate chuckled slightly at the nickname, "Are the two of you..."

"No, no." Ron shook his head quickly, keeping his voice low as he looked down at his old shoes that were falling apart in the slightest. Nate hummed, much like Juliet always did when she didn't know what to say. Ron cleared his throat as the two stood infront of each other once again, the awkwardness thick in the air before Juliet broke it.

"We're gonna miss our train." Juliet said as she walked into the kitchen, putting the backpack on her shoulders as she looked to Nate.

"Would that be such a bad thing?" he asked as Juliet chuckled slightly.

"Ron's got a family too, Nate, i'll be home in a few months for summer." Juliet nodded as her cousin gave her a good hug, "Not like you don't write me everyday."

"Big family, Ron?" Nate questioned the redhead boy who blinked under the bright, yellow lights in the kitchen.

"Very." Ron answered with a half smile.

"And he's got a baby owl names Pig." Juliet nodded as Nate looked toward Ron with a odd expression across his features that he shared ever so greatly with Julies.

"Short for Pigwidgeon." Ron spoke quickly as Nate crackled him a smile, causing Ron to do one as well, much made Juliet do the same.

"We're gonna go now." Juliet said as she basically shoved Ron out the door with her last farewells to her dear cousin.

"Told you he'd warm up to you." Juliet said to Ron with a half smile, leading the two down the staircase and into the library.

"The two of you are lot different." Ron said to her with a nod of his head, watching Juliet take a few books from the shelves.

"How so?" she questioned, leaving a bit of money on the counter before kicking the door open again, reading over the front page of the books.

"He's just more gloomy, and you're so..." Ron trialed off, not being able to find the right words for what he was trying to say, "Not so gloomy."

"It's this town, when he's in Oxford he's not like that." Juliet shook her head as she spoke over the loud honk of the taxi that was picking up a couple from a fish and chips place.

"You don't like London?" Ron asked her with a crazy look, though he'd never really been, from what he's seen it's been lovely.

"I do like London, just not this part." Juliet said, linking her arm with Ron when she saw a man on the street bow up to another man who was walking down the street.

"Where did you say we're going?" Ron continued to question her as Juliet pulled him by the arm down a narrow ally way.

"Would you stop asking questions? You're like a small child." Juliet said as she now pulled Ron by the wrist, a great pull to take his hand but decided against it.

"You could hex me." Ron admits, his voice cracking which made Juliet laugh.

"I cant hex you outside of school, if I wanted to I would have done it at the Yule Ball in your lovely dress robs." Juliet giggled as Ron sighed with a shake of his head.

"Don't even remind me." Ron laughed, suddenly being pinning up against the wall quickly while the few rain drops fell down on the two. Juliet smiled at him from where she'd pinned him up against the wall, Ron's face a bright red as he stared at her with wide eyes.

"Jules?" Ron questioned her with a heavy chest, breathing quickly when her hands cupped his face.

"Try not to freak up." she mumbled to him, Ron nodded frantically as he shut his eyes, waiting for her but was only meet with a backing up feeling.

"Juliet." Ron panicked as the wall began to cave in.

"I told you not to freak out." Juliet said to him as the wall turned and let them off into a small, cozy store.

"Bloody hell." Ron exhaled with a insane look while Juliet laughed and walked into the store with a smile toward the man at the front desk.

"No Nate this time, Juliet?" the man asked, eyeing Ron who still looked terrified.

"Not today, could I get two Eton Messes?" Juliet asked as she leaned on the counter with a smile as the man nodded his head and turned around toward the small station.

"Ron, come here." Juliet laughed as she grabbed both his hands to pull him into the store more, "You're being so dramatic."

"Am not." Ron argued as Juliet leaned against him with a exhale and a bright smile, "What is this place?"

"A very secret family business some of our friends own, only a few people know about it." Juliet smiled as Ron suddenly felt as though he'd been here before, a blink to his bright eyes as he watched Juliet start a conversation with the man behind the counter who had two cups in hand.

Ron spun in a circle, his head spinning as well as he looked at the place.

"Ron, are you listening to me?" Juliet asked as she smiled at him from across the table.

"No." Ron said honestly as he leaned on his elbow to stare at her with a smile.

"I was saying we should probably get back, we've definitely missed our train." Juliet laughed as she stood, holding out her hand for him to take, which he did happily.

He'd dreamt of this before.

"Ron? Are you listening to me?" Juliet asked as she looked at him with wondering eyes, the nice man across the counter sat the medium sized cups in front of them a few moments ago.

"No." Ron said honestly as he propped himself up on his elbow to stare at her, his Eton Mess already completely devoured and gone.

"I was saying we should probably get back, we've definitely missed our train." Juliet laughed as she took the last bite as she stood to her feet, holding out her hand for him to take which he did.

"I'll see you soon, Danny!" Juliet called out to the man as he gave the two a wave of his hand. Juliet backed Ron into the wall again, forcing himself not to get excited again.

"Don't freak out." she said as the wall began to back up, her grip on his shoulders tightened as it spun them into the ally way, the heavy rain pouring down on the two.

"Jules!" Ron called out after he'd stopped her from taking off down the ally.

"Ron, we're gonna get sick!" Juliet yelled over the rain as she stared at him with a crazy look.

"Why'd you bring me here?" his long hair was sticking to his forehead in a absolutely uncomfortable way.

"What?" Juliet asked him in disbelief. yanking on his arm, "We already missed our train!"

"Tell me why you brought me here." Ron demanded her with a voice crack, he knew something was missing, he could feel it from the dream, he knew something happened that happened happened yet.

"Because I wanted to share something I like with you! Is that such a crime?" Juliet questioned defensively with a frown of her dark eyebrows.

I don't feel it till it hurts sometimes.

"But why?" Ron repeated himself with wide, soft puppy like eyes.

Oh go on baby, hurt me to tonight.

"This is so stupid! What is your problem?" Juliet went back with a crazy look across her face, the rain pouring down in a painfully, sharp way against their skin.

I want ours to be a endless song.

"Just tell me!" Ron went back at her as Juliet stood right in front of him now.

"Because I like you!" Juliet said to him with a crazy look, "In a weird, stupid, different way! I don't know! I just like being around you, I wanted us to spend more time together! Merlin, Ron!"

In my eyes you do no wrong.

Ron smiled across at her, because it felt whole again, his dream that was a reality to him now. Because the girl he'd loved for years felt something for him, in a weird, stupid, and different way. His smile was pretty as he stared at her, his eyes scanning hers confidently.

"Don't just stand there, tell me you like me back or something." Juliet demanded him with a nod of her head, her gloved hands coming up to push his hair out of his face so she could see his beautiful, shiny eyes once again.

"I've liked you longer then i've known you!" Ron shouted over the rain with a bright smile across his face.

"How does that even work?" Juliet asked loudly with a even louder laugh, holding onto the sides of his face with a shiver from the rain.

"I'm not sure, maybe it's like my mind, or maybe Dumbledore, or I don't know, did you-" Ron began to sort out his many theories out loud to her as Juliet laughed and shook her head.

"Stop talking, Ronald!" she laughed before pulling his face toward her to capture her own lips with his. Ron panicked at first, wide eyes and violent blinks, they fell shut when he remembered it was Juliet, the same girl that had never once made him feel insecure and awkward for being himself. His hands found her upper waist, shaking from nerves and the cold while Juliet let her arms drap around his shoulders to deepen their very first kiss as much as the universe would let her.
