The Great Hall was filled with whispering students when Juliet and Harry walked in, side by side. It was impossible to tell who they were talking about more, hearing both their names being thrown around every new seconds. Juliet rolled her eyes as she looked to Harry, "You think they're talking about me or you?"

"Probably about how good you look, Juliet." Ginny spoke as she stood by the girls side, standing shorter then she did as she nodded to her outfit. Juliet did look good, she always looked relatively good. While she stuck with bright colors for her shirts, they'd often times be paired with a pair of dark, denim or leather, pants and a pair of some heels that had different designs.

"Probably so." Juliet agreed as she eyed the Hufflepuff table who was either giving her awkward smiles or talking about her, "I should head over there."

"I'll find your after." Ron said as he pushed into his toes slightly to kiss her forehead. While when she was flat footed he stood barley two inches above her, whenever Juliet wore her shoes she once again was above him. He had a love hate relationship with her many pairs of shoes, he liked the way she walked in them and the sound they made of the floor, but he often times enjoyed being taller then her.

Juliet left Ron with a steamy kiss on the mouth, a way of proving herself to the Great Hall somehow. She let her shoes click on the floor as she passed the Ravenclaw table, giving Cho a small smile before looking away. She wanted so desperately to talk to her but just couldn't find the right words. She then passed Gryffindor, offering the twins a wink as they returned it. Slytherin came up quick, not realizing she was walking rather quickly, the six Slytherins that stared at her consisted of Crable, Goyle, Pansy, Theodore, Blaise, and finally Draco.

Juliet offered them a half smile, not expecting one back but got one from Theodore and Blaise, a nod from Draco while Pansy stared at her a moment, not in the rude way she usually did, more so in a way of saying hello without actually saying it and putting her ego aside. Juliet had written to Pansy, Blaise, and Draco over the summer to thank the three for letting her sit with them the day Dumbledore spoke about Cedric considering her hadn't gotten the chance to the day of. Draco didn't write her back, nor did Blaise, but Pansy owled her back and told her it wasn't a problem.

Juliet kinda wanted to write her again but decided against it.

"Hey Juliet." Hannah, Juliets roommate said as she approached the table, a weary look on her face, "We didn't know if you'd be back this year."

"Well..." Juliet trailed off with a shrug of her shoulders, "Here I am."

"Um, you look great." Hannah complemented her as she moved over to Juliet could take a seat, "A few of us owled you over the summer, did you not revive them?"

"I stayed with a friend in Edinburgh most of the summer, sorry about that." Juliet said with a minor clear of her throat. It felt weird sitting here, without Cedric, with people she wasn't even very close with. He was all she had in Hufflepuff, everyone else thought she was the weird girl who predicted her fathers death.

The thought suddenly made Juliet freeze, remembering the whole school listening to her scream before Cedric died. Juliet avoided all eye contact after that, realize they weren't talking about her because they were worried with Cedric gone, they were talking about her because they were scared.

The new professor made Juliets skin craw. She had a bad vibe, a horrible vibe that the girl could sense from miles away. Juliet felt bad for getting up and leaving the second the assembly was over, knowing Ron wanted her to wait, but she couldn't deal with the way everyone spoke to her, like she a bomb ready to go off any second now.

When Cedric died Hogwarts put a photo of him up on the walls, right on the corner of the moving stairs. Juliet hadn't gotten much of a chance to admire it last year but took the time to stare at the moving photo. It seemed as though he was smiling back at her, moving just in the slightest as he grinned. Juliet smiled back despite him not being able to actually see her.

"Hey." a voice spoke. Juliet gasped, not hearing them approach at all as she whipped around quickly to find Pansy standing behind her, "What are you doing?"

"Nothing." Juliet said defensively against the girls snappy words. Turning back around Pansy walked forward to stand next to Juliet, "Something I could assist you with?"

"Funny." Pansy said, unamused at Juliets sarcasm, "Just figured you wanted someone to talk to other then your muggle loving boyfriend."

"If you're treating me differently now that I-" Juliet began annoyed before she stopped herself. Hogwarts echoed horribly bad and she was well aware her words would float through the hallways ever so perfectly or one of the people on the photos would snitch on her, "Forget it."

"So, do you?" Pansy questioned as Juliet looked to her, "Wanna talk about your dead friend?"

"I don't really know what to say." Juliet admitted, though she wanted to say so much, she didn't know what to, "I just miss him, especially now, especially here."

"We didn't think you'd come back this year." Pansy spoke without any worry she'd offend Juliet, "Figured you'd just start going to some mudblood school like your brother."

"He's not actually my brother, my mom adopted him." Juliet said before she rolled her eyes, "Not that its your concern or that you'd care."

"You're right, I don't." Pansy said with a nod, "But I get it, I couldn't imagine Blaise, Theo, and Draco dying, I don't particularly like you or anything but that just didn't seem right."

"No, it wasn't right at all." Juliet said with a sigh as she tore her eyes away from the photo to turn side ways and face Pansy, "What are you getting at?"

"We might as well start playing nice with each other, Juliet." Pansy's words were some what harsh, sort of like a slap in Juliets face, "Now that you're gonna squirm yourself into Slytherin house with your new family."

"I'm not squirming into anything, i'm perfectly fine in Hufflepuff." Juliets words were just as harsh and spitting as hers were, crossing her arms, "They aren't my new family either, we're distant cousins, doesn't mean anything."

"Not when it's a mudblood like you." Pansy spoke with a knowing look as Juliet rolled her eyes, "If they go public with this information everyone is gonna expect you-"

"So let them expect me to do things. That doesn't have control over my life, I can do whatever I want to do and no one is gonna stop me." Juliet spoke, her voice echoed in the slightest, "You should really take my advice."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Pansy asked her, mimicking her actions and crossing her arms as well.

"It means you don't have to do whatever everyone else is doing, you can be your own person and express your own feelings and thoughts without someone, a teenage boy of all people, to talk above you as if you don't have a voice." Juliets words slapped Pansy hard, she could tell by the way her once hard facial expressions changed in the slightest, "I appreciate you checking in on me, I do, but next time come to be as a friend rather then being someone else's owl."

Pansy didn't know how Juliet knew she was coming to her under someone else's doing, she had no clue how Juliet seemed to slap her without moving her hand. But she did know she wouldn't mind having her around if that's what it was gonna come down to, not with her blood not being nearly as muddy as they all thought it was.

"Jules, hey, hey, slow down." Ron chased her down the hall slightly after everyone began making their way toward their dorms, "Where'd you run off too? I was gonna walk you."

"Sorry, I just needed to get away from everyone." Juliet said a shes leaned over to kiss his check, "Everyone keeps staring and talking about me like i'm not here."

"I know, i'm gonna say something." Ron said with a confident nod as Juliet shook her head.

"No, it'll only make me look like I need a man to stand up of me and that's the last thing I want." Juliet answered him with huff, her heels clicking on the floor in the slightest, "I'm just trying to avoid snapping so people don't rule me out to be some crazy girl who need to be shipped to Saint Mungo."

"You're not crazy." Ron spoke sweet and softly, catching her arm to pull to to the side of the hallway so they wouldn't get trampled by others, "No one understands, not like I do, they're gonna talk no matter what you do."

"I know but..." Juliet trialed off stressful as she sighed and shook her head, "I don't know what."

Ron knew something was off, he wasn't stupid, he could tell she was hiding something from him, "You can talk to me."

"I know." Juliet said with a small smile, letting her hand grab his slightly, "It's just complicated, can you just trust me?"

"I trust you more then anything." Ron spoke as the hallway became bare when the students got onto the stairs that moved them a different direction, "But you're my girlfriend, I want to help you."

"And you're so perfect for that, darling, but not everything can be fixed by two people." Juliet said as she cupped his face softly, "But when I can get everything figured out, you'll be the first person I go to."

"Are you sure?" Ron asked gently, leaning into her hand with a longing look. Juliet nodded as she rubbed soft circles on his paled skin, tilting her head to press a small peak to his nose, forehead, and nearly his lips before a sound that reminded the two of nails on chalkboard was heard.

"Humph, Humph."

Juliet and Ron turned around slowly to find the new professor standing before them with a frog like smile, "Shouldn't the two of you get settled in your dorms?"

"Shouldn't you?" Juliet asked as the woman gave her a crazy look.

"She means because you look so... young." Ron saved Juliet quickly as the Knightly girl faked a small smile as the lady in pink leg out a humph, humph again before waving the two to go on.
