"Hey!" Juliet called as she stood over the large stands, getting Cedrics attention. The older Hufflepuff boy turned to look at her with a eyebrows rise, jogging over, "You be carful out there."

"You worry to much." Cedric joked with her, a nice smile along his features as he looked up at her, "I will."

"If you win this, Hufflepuff will have a victory for the first time in ages, you know?" Juliet asked as Cedrics eyes widened, "But no pressure."

"No pressure, you say?" Cedric asked her, Juliet smiling down at him as she held out her hand, knocking their fist then slapping palms, "Good luck."

"See you after!" Cedric called out to her, a bright smile on his face before he jogged off to stand with the others.

Juliet made her way back to the Hufflepuff stands, giving Ron a shy smile as she past, his head turning to the side in a puppy like way as she passed.

"You're pathetic." Hermione laughed at his face, Ron simply rolling his eyes at her as they focused on the final task once again.

"Senous!" Dumbledore called out, silencing the instruments.

"Oh, sorry." Juliet said as she bumped into a figure, turning and seeing as though it had been Blaise, "I'm sorry."

"It's fine." he said, nodding for her to leave quick as she passed Draco and Pansy, the Malfoy boy still embarrassed for Juliets affection toward him when he was a ferret.

"Only today, Professor Moody placed the Triwizard Cup deep within the maze, only he knows it's exact position. Now as Mr.Diggory-" Dumbledore began before Hufflepuff began to bellow in shouts and cheers, watching how the boys arm was pulled into the air. Juliet clapped loudly for her best friend, standing on the front row so he could see her cheering as hard as she could.

"And Mr.Potter." Dumbledore began as Gryffindor stands began to cheer as well.

"Are tied for first, they will be the first to enter the maze. Followed by Mr.Krum and Ms.Delacour. First person to touch the cup will be the winner!" Dumbledore went on as everyone cheered, all placing their own bets as to who they thought would win and who would loose.

"At any point a contestant wishes to withdraw from the task, he or she will only need to send red sparks with their wand." Dumbledore announced as the stands fell silent once more before he turned, "Contestants! Gather around."

"What do you think he's saying to them?" Juliet whispered to Hannah next to her, trying to read Dumbledores lips but found it rather hard from where they were. Hannah shrugged her shoulders back to Juliet. Juliet attempted to find Ron within the crowd, wishing to be near him as her anxiety built.

"Prepare yourselves!" Dumbledore announced as the contestants got into their stands. Cedric looked over his shoulder after hugging his father, giving Juliet a bright smile before him and Harry both ventured into the woods. A odd feeling formed in Juliets chest, one that made her shift uncomfortably.

"You okay?" Hannah asked her roommate with curious eyes, Juliet nodded her head knowingly.

"Just a little anxious." Juliet informed her as she tried to shake the feeling.

Half a hour had passed and Juliet wasn't doing well, the girl stumbled when she attempted to leave, falling down into the ground as her breathing hitched.

"Juliet, you okay?" Cho asked her from the Ravenclaw section, leaning down to look at the girl who had paled by now.

"Something... someone... someone's-" Juliet began before her mind was clouded quickly, horror in her eyes, "Cedric!"

"What about-" Cho began before she felt as though her ears were bleeding, never in her life had she heard someone scream as loud as Juliet did. All of Hogwarts heard the girl, the wailing leaving her throat in a way that you'd rather die then hear it again. People shielded their ears, Juliet did the same, hurting herself. She wanted to say something, she wanted to say what she knew, who she knew was dead. But her screams wouldn't stop, her eyes flooding of tears as she held her ears, her knees into her chest.

People began to circle the girl, all holding their ears. Ron had hurried though the crowds of people, his own ears burning as he got down on her level. Juliet couldn't hear what he was saying, his words muffled in her brain as her crying and wailing wouldn't stop. She'd been attempting to control her screams, it was impossible, everything she did they continued to come.

When Harry landed on the grass her screaming had stopped. The band began to play again as everyone cheered for the two boys that landed. Ron grabbed hold of Juliet, trying to get her to talk now that she'd stopped screaming. She was hysterically crying, she'd never hurt as bad as she did now. Juliet yanked herself out of Ron's hold, taking off toward the field where Harry and Cedric were.

Fleur let out a scream just as Juliet jumped the stands, falling to the ground and taking off once again. The band stopped quickly when people began to realize what had happened, what was the matter.

Cedric was dead.

Juliet sobbed as she fell onto the ground, shoving Harry away from the dead boy. Juliet cried harder at Cedrics pale, dead skin, "Ced! Cedric! Come on, come on, please."

He was lifeless, he wasn't moving, only staring at her with wide, dead eyes. Juliet could feel people trying to grab hold of her, the girl only thrashing against their hold as she laid her head down into Cedrics chest and cried, loud and hysterical sobs leaving her mouth. Harry leaned against her, speaking to Dumbledore from where he laid onto Juliet who laid on Cedric.

"I'm so sorry, i'm so sorry." Harry sobbed, talking to the both of them.

"That's my son!" Amos cried out as he ran toward the ground, "Thats my boy!"

Juliet and Harry were both pulled from Cedrics body, letting Amos grieve over his dead sons body just as they did.

"Get off of me! Get off!" Juliet yelled at Snape who was the one to pry her off of the dead boy, attempting to get her as far as possible but failing against her strong thrashes.

"Let go of her!" Ron yelled at the professor as he hurried over, taking Juliet into his own arms, letting her cry as hard as she needed to and as long as she was needed for.

Though they all believe Juliet would never recover from this.

And they were all right.

It had been a month sense Cedric had died, a month since anyone had heard from Juliet. She'd gone home, back to London to be with her mother and cousin. Her friends had written her, her teachers, her boyfriend. No response at all, no one knew if she was okay, no one knew if she was alive for that matter.

Ron had never been so worried in his life, even when he was drug by a werewolf by the pant leg, he'd still put this as the most worried. He'd send Pig daily to Juliets with letters, all ones that were poorly written because he just needed a answer. He even went to her little apartment home, banging on her door for hours, no answer from anyone.

He didn't know where she was, he didn't know a single thing about her. She'd even stopped showing up in his dreams, the day she left, there was absolutely no trace of her anywhere. Her muggle neighbors hadn't known where she went, non of her Hogwarts friends or teachers had a clue what had happened to her. No one knew, and that alone suddenly topped his fear of spiders, his biggest fear was this... losing her.

"Ron." Hermione said, hitting his arm as she pointed to the entrance of Hogwarts. Everyone knew the assembly today, the last day of school, would be a way of honoring Cedric. Dumbledore made it very clear that he would finally speak on the topic, Juliet even knew this, wherever she was hidden.

Which is why she showed up.

"Bloody hell." Ron said, a weight lifted off his shoulders at the sight of her. She didn't look okay, but she was alive, and that alone was enough. Ron went to go toward her before Harry stopped him quickly.

"Maybe you should give her until the end of this." he said, Ron gave him a confused look, not understand why he would wait to comfort his girlfriend until after.

"This could be her way of closure, Ron, she doesn't seem to want to be around people she knows." Hermione said as she nodded toward Juliet, making him look toward her quickly again.

Juliet eyed the Hufflepuff seats, they were all staring at her like everyone else was. If she sat with her house she'd be treated like a bomb, everyone saying how sorry and how they were here for her. If she sat with Ravenclaw she'd have to face Cho and that was the last thing she wanted right now, knowing that would que another panic attack by just looking at the girl he loved. If she sat with Gryffindor the Weasleys and her other friends would all try and comfort her, let her know they loved her, that was another thing she didn't wanted. This left her to one house, one house that hated her with a passion, her only option.

"Could I sit with the three of you?" Juliet asked as she stood before Pansy, Draco, and Blaise. They all looked up at her as if they were deer in headlights. Sure, the three couldn't stand the sight of a Hufflepuff mudblood like herself, but they all had some what of a heart.

"That's not-" Draco began when no one said a word.

"Just for this, that's it." Juliet said quickly, cutting him off before he could reject her, "If I sit anywhere else i'll be treated like a bomb."

"Are you going to start screaming again?" Pansy asked her as Juliet shook her head, Blaise moved a seat over, letting the girl sit between him and Draco. Juliet didn't thank them, she didn't say a word to them, and they didn't say a word to her. It's what she wanted, she wanted silence, she didn't want pity, she wanted this.

"Today we acknowledge a really terrible lose." Dumbledore began, he seemed such as ill looking as Harry and Juliet did, "Cedric Diggory was, as you all know, exceptionally hard working, infinitely fair minded, and most importantly a fierce, fierce friend."

Juliet let her heart rate pick up, the darkness under her eyes twitching as she held the tears that were forming in her eyes back. Her hands gripped her chair tightly, so tight her knuckles were turning white.

"I think that therefore you have the right to know exactly how he died. You see, Cedric Diggory was murdered! By Lord Voldemort! The Ministry Of Magic does not wish me to tell you this. But not to do so I think would be a insult to his memory." Dumbledore announced loudly, Juliet read in one of Harry's letters the same words and she believed it immediately. She knew he was back, and from the way the three Slythrins around her shifted indicated they either thought the fact was rubbish or already had a idea he was.

Dumbledore found Juliets sad, worn out eyes. The usually bright, honey like color was now darker then the night sky, paired with horrible under eye bags that drew away all her once happiness and glee that filled the round pools that joyed almost everyone when they'd looked at her.

"Now the pain we all feel at this dreadful lost reminds me, reminds us, why we may come from different places and speak in different tongues, our hearts beat as one." Dumbledores words sent Juliet over the point she needed to be at, she let her tears fall, hiding her face in hopes of no one seeing. The muggle born girl went to leave before she made the three uncomfortable, feeling a hand grab hold of hers and keep her in place. She wished later down the road she knew who's it was, but she was far to upset to bring herself to look or care.

"In light of recent events, the bonds of friendship we made this year will be more important than ever. Remember that and Cedric Diggory would not have died in vein, you remember that! And we will celebrate a boy who was kind and honest and brave and true right to the very end." Dumbledore ended his speech as every student was silent, the occasion cries being heard over the grounp. But they were silent, still, all showing the respect they needed to for the moment being.

"Ron." Juliet said, half a hour passed since the assembly was over. Between wishing everyone goodbye and getting the work she'd need to do over the summer, Juliet finally found him standing outside of Hogwarts.

"Hi." Ron said to her, his eyes were sad as he stared at her. Juliet inched forward, wrapped her arms around his waist as she tucked her head into his neck. Ron let one of his hands pull her closer, the other holding the back of her head in comfort.

"I'm sorry I haven't answered you." Juliet said to him, her voice was weak and sad, scratchy end unrecognizable if he hadn't known it was her.

"Don't worry about it." Ron spoke to her, wanting so bad to tell her how much he was worried she hadn't been okay and how she needed to at least tell him she was okay, "I just wanted to be there for you."

"I was better alone." Juliet said as she pulled away from the hug to look at him, really look at him good, "I wanted to owl you back but I just... I just couldn't."

"You don't have to explain yourself." Ron said to her, his hands fiddling with hers, "I'm just glad you're okay, Pig and I got worried."

Juliet gave a small laugh, very small that he almost didn't catch it. Her cold hands held onto his tightly, bringing them upwards to press a kiss to his knuckles, "I'll be okay next year, when we come back."

"Will you go all summer without talking to me?" Ron asked her sadly as Juliet shook her head.

"I'll be sure to write, i'm staying with a family friend in Edinburgh for the time being. Nate is busy with school and the nurse doesn't think it's best for me to overwhelm mom." Juliet nodded her head, "Perhaps you could come visit me?"

"Yes." Ron said quickly and to forcefully, embarrassing himself but the small smile on Juliets face was enough for him to grin widely.

"Then ill see you soon." Juliet spoke. Ron missed her voice, he missed her smile, he missed the joy that danced in her eyes any time she spoke to anyone. That was gone, she just seemed empty now, he adored her with every part of himself and nothing could change that , but she wasn't the same girl he'd fallen for. But he was okay with that right now, because he understood in a way, and he could never love someone as he did her.

"I'd understand if you didn't want us to... keep doing this." Ron said, he didn't know if she wanted to label their relationship, he didn't even know if they still had one.

"I still want us to be together." Juliet said to him, staring at him through her dark, lifeless eyes, "Don't you?"

"Of course." Ron nodded his head at her words as Juliet nodded as well, leaning into him again as his arms went around her body, that was smaller then the last time he'd saw her, holding her close for the time being.

"I'm making Pig stay with you until you write me back." Ron said, Juliets small giggle vibrating his neck in a way that made him strain with a giggle himself.

"I will." Juliet said as they pulled apart, her hand resting on his check in a loving way, watching as he leaned into it more, "I promise."

"Be safe." Ron said, Juliets sad smile was enough for him, her small peak on the lips was enough for him, the way she left him, the way she promised to write him, it was enough.
