*Dileep Pov*

"What happened to you?" I asked her frowning when she sat in silence at the lunch.

"Nothing!" she replied, not even glancing at me and continued to have her food.

"Come here!" I said, holding her hand and dragged her to the balcony before sitting down on the chair and made her sit on me.

"If it is about yesterday's party, then do not mind it. I never gave importance to mom's words in my life that much." I said and she slowly moved her head to glance at me.

"So, you will do what you wish for." she said, and I nodded holding her tightly.

"Ok!" she whispered before snuggling her head against my neck, and we both sat like that for a few minutes.

"I will stay at my home tomorrow evening." I said and she just nodded closing her eyes.

"Will we just sit here?" I asked, brushing my hand over her stomach.

"What do you think?" she asked back, placing her hand under my shirt and repeated my actions.

"You are becoming bolder!" I replied when she got up before I could kiss her.

"I need to be." She said teasingly and rushed inside while I followed her.

"Do you think I cannot catch you?" I asked, raising my eyebrow when she stood on the other side of the bed.

"I know so!" she replied, shrugging and moved the other way, when I was about to catch her.

"Fine! I will just go to sleep." I said, lying on the bed and closed my eyes placing my hand over my face.

After a few minutes, I felt her hand over my cheek and her chin on my chest. She started moving her hand over my face and slowly pestered kisses over my cheek.

I removed my hand and held her tightly to which she chuckled and stated, "I thought, you said you were going to sleep."

"I left you alone yesterday, but today it is not going to happen." I said, rolling her over and kissed her showing her in action how serious I am about not leaving her alone.

"I thought you would be staying at your house for two days." she said in the evening when I entered the house and saw her sitting on the couch watching the TV.

"I will!" I said and held her face, kissing her while sitting down.

"I am going to miss you." She slowly whispered, playing with the buttons of my shirt.

"What will you do for two days?" I asked, pushing her top down pestering kisses over her shoulder.

"I... I don't know!" she replied and started removing my shirt.

"I will have to go." I said, sighing holding her.

"Yeah!" she said, sighing back and moved a little to stare at my face.

She kissed me and moved back, leaving the hall saying, "I will place another dress for you."

"Bye!" she waved and for the first time, I waved back before getting inside the elevator.

"You are late and we are just sitting for dinner." Mom said, looking at the time, and I shook my head never liking this time schedule regarding when to eat and sleep even at this age.

I glanced at Mridula, who has a bright smile on her face, but she is not looking at any of us. I waved in her face and asked, "What is it?"

"You just see for yourself." She replied and gestured at me to look behind me.

We all turned to see Tajwar Bhai climbing down the stairs and walked near to the table. He sat at his old place, and we all just stared at him in shock.

"You are amazing." I whispered to Mridula before taking my place.

We all slowly started talking, and Bhai joined in the conversation for every other time. I felt happy that he is returning to us and glanced at Aahil Bhai to see that he is frowning to himself.

"What happened to you?" I asked him in a whisper.

"It is nothing!" he replied, but is just lost in his thoughts.

"So, is she still with you?" Mom asked, changing the topic making me glace away from Aahil Bhai.

"Amrin? She is with me. Why?" I asked her frowning.

"You need to stop all this, Dileep." She replied shaking her head.

"What if she tries to tie you with her by doing something drastic?" she added, and I shook my head not wanting to hear her words.

The next day when I finished the business call, I saw Aahil Bhai pacing in the garden with frustration. I frowned and walked near him this time not with a plan to leave him alone until he says anything.

"Will you tell me what happened to make you so restless?" I asked him frowning.

"Yesterday one girl came to the party office." He replied, and I nodded gesturing him to continue.

"I met her once nearly two months back, and now she is saying that she is pregnant with my child." He said and rubbed his forehead.

"What? Is it true?" I asked him in complete shock.

"I don't know! But I don't think it is I mean I slept with her once so what are the chances of her conceiving." He replied and frowned cursing himself.

"Why didn't you ask for parental tests like the last time when you got into the same problem?" I asked him raising my eyebrow.

"Do you need to bring that incident again? It was false, which got proved, and I actually threatened this girl for that, but she seems to be ready and even kind of threatened me like saying it will be a problem for me." He explained.

"You are in deep trouble!" I stated frowning.

"I know! That is why I stopped even dating or anything after a first incident, but I was little drunk, and now I am in this problem." He said collapsing on the bench.

"All these women are same always trying to gain something in any way. We cannot trust a single woman." He added with disgust, and I frowned.

"Try to think of a solution and tell me. I have some work." I said, walking away and asked the driver to take me to the office building.

As it is a holiday, no one is in the building, and I took the elevator to reach the penthouse before stepping inside the flat. Amrin stepped outside the kitchen little startled, but smiled seeing me.

"I thought I would not see you until the day-after tomorrow." She said walking near me and hugged me tightly.

"Shall I cook food for you too?" she asked circling her arms around my neck pressing her lips to mine.

I placed my hands over her shoulders and moved her back before holding them tightly making her hiss in pain. She frowned at me and tried to move away from my hold.

"If I know that you are trying to get pregnant by me to tie me to yourself, then I will not spare you." I threatened her staring into her eyes.

"What?" she asked, frowning and tears started forming in her eyes.

"Do I have to repeat myself? Do not even dare to get pregnant by me." I replied, and she pushed my hands away which I have done this time.

"Do not mind! I will not pray for god everyday to get pregnant and put the responsibility on you." She said rubbing her shoulders.

"What?" I asked her frowning.

"Yes! It is in my hands to get pregnant without your doing right, so I will not put the responsibility on you if I get pregnant." she replied before walking away and stepped inside our room.

"Look, something happened and I took that on you." I said following her and saw that she is lying on the bed.

"I am not saying anything to you, Dileep. I know by the name and wealth, you have anyone may try to trap you. I just want to sleep." she said and gave her back to me.

I walked away and again got back to the home to see Aahil Bhai still pacing in the garden with a phone pressed to his ear.

"Aunty is asking about you. It is time for lunch. Where is Aahil Bhai?" Mridula asked when I entered the house.

"He is busy with a phone call, and I am not hungry." I replied, climbing the stairs, ignoring calls from everyone and laid on the bed.

I closed my eyes and immediately got her face with tears, and she is rubbing her shoulders. I shook my head and drifted off into sleep.

When I woke up, I saw that there is a message regarding some small money transaction from the account which is Amrin's, but I made it joined the first week when she was with me to make it easy for transferring the money.

She used the money for what? I thought, remembering that she didn't use not a single rupee for anything in these two months.

I shook my head thinking I shouldn't think about it or even ask her as I put the money for her to use it only right. I climbed down the stairs to see everyone in the living room having the evening snacks.

"Are you hungry, Dileep?" Mom asked, and I shook my head in negative before sitting beside Aahil.

"Where is Tajwar?" Mom asked Mridula.

"In the room!" she replied serving tea for everyone.

"Well, he should be joining us soon." Mom said, and Mridula nodded before walking away.

"Are you serious, Mom? What do you think she has? A magic wand?" Aahil asked her frowning with irritation.

"I can expect those questions from Dileep but what happened to you?" Mom asked him.

"There are very few girls who are like Mridula without any greed for money or anything else." Aahil replied shaking his head.

"Do not worry! I will get you a girl like her as your wife." Mom said rolling her eyes.

"That is better!" he said, getting up and walked away.

"Amrin!" I called for her after two days, even though I had to come back here yesterday I thought of staying one more day at my home.

"I am here!" she called out from the kitchen.

"Are you busy?" I asked, leaning on the entrance.

"Not until now, but I am now. I have to cook for you too." She replied and started adding the ingredients in more level for the food.

"Ok!" I said but didn't walk away and stood there.

"Did you go outside during the time I was not here?" I asked her when she stepped outside the washroom and joined me on the bed.

"Yes! I went to the hospital." She replied, moving the blanket to get inside it.

"For what? Are you ill?" I asked, placing my hand over her forehead.

"No! I went to get myself birth control pills." She replied and laid down while I stared at her in shock.

"What?" I asked her frowning.

"I do not want to take chances, Dileep. I know I will get the blame if I get pregnant, and I do not want the blame. So I am taking extra precautions." She replied with not an angry tone but in a normal way.

"I shouldn't have said those things." I said and explained what happened with Aahil trusting her.

"I hope he will get out of the situation or something." She said, placing her hand over mine, which was lying over her waist.

"I hope so too." I said and brushed her cheek.

She just stared at me before closing her eyes and drifted off into sleep, and I followed her suit.
