Haechan was shaking violently as he paced back and forth. He told himself he was ready for this but leading up to him actually doing it, he'd rather die than have to say those words.

He gnawed on his thumbnail as he tried to calm his nerves but was startled by the door opening.

"Hey hyuck, I got your text, do you need something?" Mark said as he looked down at his phone not yet noticing how distressed his dongsaeng was.

He pocketed the phone and gasped seeing hyuck sweating and shaking. He approached him with a concerned expression.

"Woah, hey hyuck? Are you alright?" He placed a gentle hand on hyucks shoulder.

Haechan felt like throwing up. He closed his eyes and took a breath.

"Hyung i...I have to tell you something..." his voice shook.

Mark's eyes were wide with concern. He gave haechans shoulder a squeeze before giving him a warm smile.

"Okay hyuck, you know you can tell me anything, just take a breath hyuck, relax." Mark reassured as he could physically feel haechan panicking.

Haechan took another deep breath trying to force himself to say the words.

"M...Mark i...I need you to p..promise me something first..."

Mark was genuinely worried. He had never seen hyuck look so scared and nervous before, he knew that whatever this was, was super serious to hyuck.

"Of course hyuck, anything."

Haechan wished they wouldn't but his eyes began to well up as he forced more words to leave his lips.

"Promise me that.... that..." he paused fighting the tears that threatened to fall.

"That you won't hate me...or stop being my friend..." he whimpered swallowing the lump in his throat.

Mark was confused and scared. He placed both hands on haechans shoulders and looked into his glossy eyes.

"Donghyuck I could never hate you, you know that. What's going on? Please just tell me hyuck, you're scaring me."

"Mark i...I..." he paused taking another deep breath.

"I like boys..." he said quickly, his voice shaky and broken as tears began to flow.

Mark stood quiet for a second, his eyes wide with shock.

He was snapped out of it when he heard haechans crying.

"Woah, hey, hey, donghyuck don't cry. Hey, look at me." Mark spoke softly keeping a gentle tone.

Donghyuck raised his head revealing his red watering eyes.

"There is nothing wrong with liking guys donghyuck. You know that none of that stuff matters to me right? You are my best friend hyuck, and nothing will ever change how much I love you do you understand me?" Mark spoke firmly but softly trying to console haechan.

Donghyuck was in shock. He had never heard Mark speak like this before, and it melted his heart hearing him say this to him.

"You... you really aren't disgusted by me? Or...or dissapointed?"

More tears fell down haechans face as he broke into a sob.
"Of course not donghyuck! I would never ever discriminate against you or treat you differently becuase you like boys. There is nothing wrong with that hyuckie, nothing at all."

Mark hated that haechan was so scared to tell him. He didn't want the boy to cry over something that wasn't even a problem. His heart broke seeing his dongsaeng cry.

Haechan tried to nod but was overtaken with a rush of fresh tears.

"Hyuckie... come here. " mark cooed opening his arms for the younger.

Haechan fell into mark's embrace, burying his face into mark's shoulder and letting his tears flow freely down his cheeks, soaking into mark's gray hoodie.

Mark wrapped his arms securely around haechan running his hand through his hair softly.

"Its okay hyuck." He whispered trying to comfort the boy as best as he could.

Haechan was so overwhelmed he didn't know what to do.

"Come on buddy... why are you crying? Everything's okay hyuckie, no need to be upset..."

Haechan sniffled keeping himself tucked in mark's arms.

"I was so scared to tell you hyung...i...I was afraid you'd hate me... or think I'm gross....and not want me in the group anymore..."

"Donghyuck that is ridiculous. I could never hate you man, especially not for this. If you like Boys then I will support you no matter what. There's nothing you could do to make me ever stop loving you."

Haechan rose up and looked at mark.

"Thank you hyung... thank you for supporting me..."

Mark smiled wiping donghyucks wet cheeks.

"You don't have to thank me hyuckie... and you can always come to me about anything, don't be afraid to talk to me donghyuck, I'm always here for you."

"I love you so much hyung." Hyuck gave him a small quivering smile.

"I love you too hyuck."
He brought him into another tight hug to reinforce his words and leave hyuck with a warm safe feeling.

"I'm so proud of you for telling me donghyuck."

"I'm really glad I told you hyung... it feels so much better getting it out. "

"I'm glad donghyuck, are you feeling better now?"

"Yes hyung, thank you."

"Of course hyuckie, just doing my job as your hyung."

Donghyuck finally stopped crying and released from the hug.

"Do you wanna tell the others?" Mark asked cautiously.

"Yeah... but I'm worried about what they'll say..."

"Hey, I'll be right beside you, and I believe that they will all support you no matter what, nothing to be afraid of."

"Okay then... let's go tell them. "

Mark took haechans hand and led him to the living room where the rest of dream were.

Renjun was the first to notice how red hyucks eyes were.

"Hyuckie? Are you okay? Did you cry?" He asked brushing his thumb under hyucks eye.

"I'm okay renjun-ah...but I need to tell you all something..."

They all listened carefully.

"I...I'm gay...".he said slighy more confident than before.

The group took a second to process before they showed hyuck with supportive words and quick little hugs letting them know that they were okay with it.

He felt so lucky to have such amazing brothers and couldn't have asked for a better coming out than this.
