Wazi's guard

Wazi-Vitani's middle child and son and leader of his own Lion Guard. After inheriting the roar of the elders from his mother, Wazi assembles his own Lion Guard in hopes of getting into the royal guard. He looks up to his mother greatly and wants to be better than Koda. He is merciless and has a hot temper deeming himself the fiercest member of his guard, although he passes this role to his sister Zami. He is also arrogant and mean. However, he reveals he wants to make his mother proud of him. He does show a passion in protecting those he cares about. His courage is undeniable, as he will face any adversary for the good of the Pride Lands and Hero Valley, their inhabitants, or his friends. Wazi tries to prove himself as a true leader, authoritative, and willing to give orders to anyone, whether they are his friends, his family, or his enemies. Choosing black (painted) lightning bolt as his guard mark.

Zami-Vitani's middle child and daughter and the fiercest member of Wazi's guard. Zami is rebellious and has a hot temper. She is loves and supports Wazi and cares for her friends deeply. Although she can come off as harsh and cruel, she holds a soft spot in her heart for her family. Her attitude, even as a cub, is confident and spunky, and she was not afraid to outwit and challenge larger friends or foes.

Shetani-Vitani's middle child and daughter and the scariest member of Wazi's guard. Shetani displays aggressive and vicious characteristics, taking enjoyment in taunting and fighting her brothers and sisters. Despite her more violent tendencies, Shetani is known to be a stickler to the rules, showing high respect towards adults and the queen herself.

Tayo is Shahaba's son and the bravest member of Wazi's guard. Tayo is brave, sturdy, full of courage and kindness, and does his best to make his family proud. He is also an austere but caring brother. He is very meticulous about his job, and he shows great concern about Wazi and the formation his guard.

Koji is Shahaba's son and the boldest member of Wazi's guard. Though he may seem a bit over-protective at times, Koji cares greatly about his family and the future of his friends and family. He was nervous about defending Hero Valley for the first time but his ambitions and beliefs get the best of him.

Bila-Shahaba's daughter and smartest member of Wazi's guard. Bila is a fearless lioness and very formidable. However, unlike her mother, Bila doesn't scare her opponents but offers them a chance to flee. Bila was deemed keenest of hearing due to her exceptional listening skills. Like her brother she is overall friendly and polite.

Hofu-Shahaba's son and cleverest of Wazi's guard. Like his sister, Hofu is fearless and formidable but instead of laughing manically to scare enemies like his mother, he roars at them. This rarely works of course so he must turn to force. He has a good sense of smell and can track someone or something and/or detect danger nearby just by scent.

Beno-Kasi's son and the most alert of Wazi's Guard. Beno is very shy and cowardly and prefers to stay out of a fight. However, he will save his friends and will join his team in battle when his family is in danger. He is always cautious and is the first to detect if something doesn't seem right.

Haraka-Kasi's daughter and the fastest member of Wazi's Guard. When things are nice and quiet, Haraka is mostly laid back and slightly lazy. However, when danger is sensed, she's the first one on the case. She is very obedient to her mother.

Baako-Kasi's son and the quickest member of Wazi's guard. He is very observant and skilled at piecing together information. He has faith in his friends and is sensitive to their feelings, disliking seeing them hurt. He is the most genial character in the group and is very kind, friendly, encouraging, and outgoing. He speaks with a surprisingly soft demeanor despite his species and is happy to be part of Wazi's Guard. When trouble is afoot, he shows tremendous strength and courage and does not hesitate to charge enemies.

Abendi-Kasi's son and the wittiest member of Wazi's guard. He is a bit scatterbrained, and sometimes forgets things mid-conversation. It doesn't take much for him to get quite temperamental and emotional, and he is easily moved by touching moments. He is noted to be extremely authoritative, trustworthy, and reliable in the sense that he doesn't make things up, and knows that he can count on the other members of the Lion Guard.

Hiyo is Tazama's son and keenest of scent of Wazi's guard. He is friendly and always supportive and an excellent team player. He usually jokingly dismisses the team's or his own failures and optimistically tries to bring his friends spirits back up.

Kali is Tazama's daughter and keenest of hearing of Wazi's guard. Kali is a proper, professional and sensible individual, committed to her duties as a member of Wazi's lion guard. She has a rather pragmatic approach to combat and training which, proves her as a tough opponent.

Hevi-Tazama's son and the keenest of sight of Wazi's guard. He is a proud lion and happy, friendly, and affable. He is very rational and realistic. He does not believe in creatures or occurrences that he perceives as impossible, such as paintings predicting the future. Hevi seems to occasionally be ill-tempered whenever his loved ones are threatened, and can be quite impatient at times. However, whenever Hevi is not working, he's a laid-back and fun loving lion.

Kabisa-Tazama's and smartest member of Wazi's guard. She has been shown to be very alert, warning Wazi of danger. She is often seen seeking out specific targets, such as Bayou and his crocs or Skulleye and his flock. She never hesitates to take actions for those in need of help. She does her best to prove himself, and cares deeply for her friends. She is also somewhat of a smart alec. Kabisa is a fierce fighter and will bravely take on adversaries. She usually helps out by scouting out animals in need of help during a fight, or warning her friends of incoming enemies.

Maren is Imara's son and the strongest swimmer on Wazi's guard. He has incredible swimming skills, earning him his rank. Maren is optimistic and friendly, preferring to talk things out with an enemy rather than fighting. But when an enemy doesn't comply, he reluctantly and sarcastically attacks them.

Ying is Imara's daughter and the strongest runner on Wazi's guard. He has incredible stamina, earning him his rank. Being androgynous, Ying was thought to be female but his first speaking lines confirmed him to be male. He is adventurous and outgoing.

Sadee is Imara's daughter and the strongest climber on Wazi's guard and Wazi's love interest. She is adventurous, curious, and fun-loving. She enjoys spending time with her best friends, especially Wazi, even if it meant disobeying their parents and straying into forbidden territory. Strong-willed and spunky, she has biting sense of humor and likes to tease her friends and foes.

Ekon is Imara's son and the strongest member of Wazi's guard. He is adventurous, curious, and fun-loving. He enjoys spending time with his friends and practicing his strength on them. He hates disobeying his mother but will do anything to protect her and the rest of his family. He is so strong, he can even push back Beshte.
