Bayou is a Nile crocodile and a resident of the Badlands, formerly the Wetlands. He has dark green scales, beige underbelly, and yellow eyes. 

Ruthless, subtle, and malicious, Bayou is the nastiest crocodile that has ever dwelled in the wetlands. Not even Makuu or Kiburi matches his malice. Bayou loves eating fish and basking in the wetlands. However, he is overthrown by Aasira's wits and banished to the mud wallows. After terrorizing the valley and attempting to eat a few of the members, he is banished to the Badlands by the Queen. 

Bayou finally comes to terms with Hero Valley after Jake, Tyson, Aasira, Raiden, Vixen, Varian, and Aroura convince Jeru and his mother to invite him to the water truce. He is later seemingly killed by Smock after he slaps him into a ravine. He later shows up unconscious but alive after being saved by the Skyhawks. 

Trivia:

Bayou's name comes from the swamp bayou where crocs usually dwell.

He is implied to be exiled from Makuu and Kiburi's united floats.

Bayou is stated by the other crocodiles as "The worst crocodile we know" A reference to the lion guard song "The worst hyena we know".
