Silver is a fox who believes Queen Granda of Hero Valley is responsible for his father's death. He is a young teenager with black fur and blue eyes. He has a streak of white in his spiky bangs and a horizontal grayish white stripe down his back. 

Silver was born to a young fox named Alexander and his unnamed mate who passed away shortly after he was born. His older siblings Storm, Shadow, Crystal and four younger siblings Red, Midnight, Dusk, and Snow stuck by him after his father passed away of a sickness that's common in the Badlands. After his father dies, Silver swears vengeance on the valley, believing if Granda hadn't banished him and his family from the Valley, his father would still be alive. He makes his debut in the first episode of season 3 where he, his siblings, and his father are living in a sunny area of the Badlands. Upon hearing the story of how his father was banished from the valley for no apparent reason (reason being Alexander was loyal to Smock, the former prince of the valley), Silver believed peace was possible. Soon, Alexander caught a well known illness that is infamous throughout the Badlands. Silver plots revenge against the queen of the valley Granda. A year later, Granda passes away of old age which both excites and disappoints Silver (due to the fact her death was not at his paws). Silver has had several other problems with the valley which is almost always unintentional or a misunderstanding.

At first, Silver was a kind and friendly fox to the heroes. He believed that his father's banishment was merely a misunderstanding and that he and his family could be let back in if they gave them a chance. However, his colors changed after several failed attempts to regain the trust of the valley and his father dying of an illness, which devastates Silver. The young fox grows a darker personality. He still loves his siblings dearly. When Snow gets sick with the same illness her father did, Silver races to the valley and begs the Lion Guard to help him. The young animals brush his requests off as another trick despite Silver swearing that he was telling the truth. The young fox decides to make a cure himself but nearly creates a poisonous formula that was capable of killing everyone in the Valley and Badlands. Fortunately, Anga and Ono confirms that Silver was right after spying on him. Jeru, Aasira, and Makini race to stop Silver and heal Snow. Later, Silver  and his siblings are summoned by the Queen to Hero Valley to protect them from a mysterious killer in the Badlands which they reluctantly comply. After Smock is defeated with the help of the Badlanders, Silver and his family respectfully decline, saying that if they were in the Valley, who would protect the Badlands.

Silver is named after his species, Silver fox. 

He and his siblings are actually crossbred foxes, as they appear to be either Red or Silver ones.

Silver is the most intelligent Badlander as he has a mind for science and magic.

He is voiced by Jeremey Jordan, the same voice actor for Jeru, Karol's son and Varian, the  teenage alchemist from Tangled, the series and another member of the Children's Task Force.

He is Jeru's main rival.
