Chooha is a mouse deer and a member of the Tangles. He has a light brown coat at the front and dark brown at back. His chest and legs are white and his eyes are brown. His inner eyes are pink, and his hooves and nose are black.

Chooha is small yet very serious. He knows all about Hero Valley and its history. He is very fond of the story of the Lites. He isn't fond of those who point at him, deeming it impolite. He is shown to be kind-hearted and intelligent however.

At first Chooha was suspicious of Sooar's new friends. He continues to keep them in his sights until they admit they were Hero Valleyans. Upon hearing the confession, Chooha admits he knew they were from the valley all along upon recognizing each of Jeru and Aroura's "royal guard" only he didn't call them out as to not panic his friends.

Trivia:

Chooha's name means "mouse" in Hindi as a reference to his species mouse deer.

Chooha was the only animal who was not afraid of the mention of Hero Valley.
