Zhongli was talking about one of his stories and you told him, how interesting the stories are and that he should write a book about it while having a smile on you're face. Although, it was a small comment— he cherished that moment as if it was gold.

Childe felt his breath taken away by the scene, your hand was on top of his own, gifting him a new pen in the process, to compensate for his old pen you borrowed and lost. While having a soft smile on your face.

And in that moment, Childe knew that he was in love with you, but he doubted the feeling and felt like it would go away but you just had to stand by next to him more which made his body feel even weirder and warmer. But never once, he hated that you were near.
