Calum Pov:

Y/n is a sophomore now and this year she has been doing so good until her grades started dropping, all her quizzes and test and exams have been nothing but big fat D's and F's.

She used to be a straight A middle school student until High School.

My family thinks that it's maybe because she was the class know it all and she got bullied for it so maybe if she failed some she thought she would be cool.

But I don't think it's that, maybe she's actually struggling or just stopped caring about school

I was waiting for her to get home from school and when she did she came home looking scared and nervous she dropped her report card infront of me and ran to her room.

Y/n Pov:

I was walking home afraid of what my dad would say, I already know I'm getting grounded these grades are horrible. I'm just going to walk  in give him the report card and grab all my electronics and just give them to him.

I can't believe it, but ya know me being his daughter I'm very cheeky. I've got 2 phones thank god I had back up I had to keep up with social media and all that.

So I got the front of the house, opened it and locked it and saw him waiting in the kitchen with a beer in hand.

I dropped the report card infront of him and ran upstairs

I grabbed my, Laptop,Tv remote, my tablet, my airpods and my phone. I hid my 2nd phone under my mattress in case he checked through my bag.

I sat on my bed with all the electronics waiting for him to come in and get them.

Calum Pov:

I opened the report card and I was really disappointed

I don't understand how she could start of the year so well then just fail like this and it was really unacceptable so I walked right into her room and saw all her electronics on her lap with tears running down her face.

I walked in front of her and she didn't even look up she passed me her stuff only for me to set it back down next to her on the bed.

" I'm sorry I'm stupid " she said

I sat down and hugged her holding her close as she cried on let the tears fall on my shirt

" your not stupid y/n " I said as she shook her head

" you don't understand, it's not like I want to fail, everything is just so hard dad I can t, I cant " she said wiping her eyes as she tried to stop crying

" well why didn't you say anything before I could have gotten the help you needed baby " I said kissing the top of her head

" I don't know, I've always just wanted to do things alone without any help but I can't do it alone " she said breaking down again

" listen tomorrow how about you stay home from school and I'll see if I can call your teacher and get some sort of tutoring help and get those grades back up " I said as she gave a small soft smile and nodded

" I love you but your still grounded " I said as she lightly laughed and passed me her stuff

" I love you " I said smiling at her

" I love you to " she said laying down in her bed looking at the ceiling
