First Day At The Bionic Academy

Nobody's POV

"Welcome to the Davenport Bionic Academy." Donald says as the five teens step out of the hydra loop, entering the brand new academy.

"Woah, cool!" Bree gasps as they all run out of the hydra loop.

"Oooh, a window!" Adam gasps running towards the window.

"Wow, the hydroloop is amazing! We just went from the mainland to the middle of the ocean in less than 30 seconds!" Chase chuckles walking up to Donald.

"Yup, and my lunch just went from my stomach to the floor in less than three." Leo groans.

"So, what do you think?" Donald asks with a smile.

"Beautiful view, tons of space. I'm assuming will be living in the basement again?" Bree asks.

"No. Here we call it below sea level." Donald says, making Bree glare at him.

"By the way, the hydra loop will take you anywhere you want to go on the island at any time. This, is one of the main classroom areas and here is the training area where we will develop the kid's skills and teach them to become bionic her-Mia!" Donald explains as they walk into the training area, only to find Mia already in there playing with one of the combat sticks.

"Hey. Quick question, why do we need combat sticks if these kids are all bionic?" Mia asks as she spins the stick around.

"Give me that!" Donald snaps pulling it away from her.

"By the way, does this place have a ventilation system?" Mia asks.

"Yeah, why?" Donald asks as he puts the combat stick away.

"No reason." Mia mutters, a small smirk on her face.

"Mia, you have to be serious. You have important roles as mentors." Donald says with a stern look.

"Don't worry, Big D. We got this. Now, what exactly will I be teaching?" Leo asks with a smirk.

"Nothing, you're a student." Donald says.

"A what? But you gave me a mission suit. You said I was part of the team!" Leo gasps, remembering the events before he, Donald and Douglas went after Mia.

"Hm, yeah, he says a lot of things. By the way, still waiting for that sweet sixteen party." Bree groans glaring at Donald.

"Leo, you are a part of the team, but you've only had your bionic arm for six months. You still have a lot more to learn." Donald explains.

"Come on Big D, I am ready! Adam, tell him." Leo protests turning to his brother.

"Leo, were you not listening? I'm a teacher now. It's Mr. Adam for you." Adam says before walking off.

"Mia?" Leo asks, turning to his sister for support.

"Don't look at me, I'm not even ready!" Mia chuckles before following after Adam.

"Hey, what's orientation day?" S-3 asks as he sits by one of the consoles with Adam.

"Oh, that's just a fancy way of saying Mr. Davenport's gonna talk a lot." Adam chuckles.

"I heard that, and he's right." Donald says walking into the room.

"Hey, Leo." He says as he walks up to Bree, Chase and Leo.

"Don't hey Leo me, I look like a bionic bumble bee." Leo groans, referring to his black and yellow training outfit.

"Hey, so what do all the different colors mean?" Bree asks turning to Chase.

"Mr. Davenport and I assessed each of the kids bionics, and the colors represent their level of mastery. You see, red for expert and it goes all the way down to yellow for beginner." Chase explains as he shows them the colors on his tablet.

"I'm a beginner!?" Leo gasps looking at the tablet.

"Don't worry, I am too." A boy, which could only be half of Leo's height, says as he walks over.

"I'm on the same level as him? He's tiny." Leo says pointing at the boy.

"I'm young, what's your excuse?" The boy scoffs before walking off, Leo following after him.

"Hi. Oooh, sup' little momma." Another boy says as he walks up to Bree.

"Can we help you?" Bree asks giving him a strange look.

"Yeah, I have a little problem with my, uh, uniform. How can I put this? I need a little bit more room in the, cargo area." The boy explains gesturing to his butt.

"Are you sure about that? Because tight is where it's at, right guys?" Donald asks doing a little dance, causing his pants to rip.

"You know what? Let's just get started." He mutters walking into the training area.

"Hello and welcome to the world's first Davenport Bionic Academy." Donald says as he stands on the podium, receiving applause from the students.

"When do I get to throttle people?!" The boy from earlier yells as he stands beside Leo.

"Hey! We don't throttle people, mighty mouse!" Leo shouts giving him a strange look.

"Leo's right. You're not soldiers anymore, you're students. Now I know you've had it rough and you're still adjusting to the outside world, but we're here to help. You see, there are many things here-" Donald says.

"Told ya." Adam chuckles making talking motions to S-3.

"This facility is here so that you can, train your bionics in safe space and develop into the heroes you see before me." Donald explains turning towards his bionic kids, only to find the youngest missing.

"Where's Mia?" He asks.

"I don't know, Bree was responsible for her." Chase says, trying to keep himself out of trouble.

"Responsible for her? Please, she's 14. I'm pretty sure she can look after herself." Bree scoffs, just as a body falls down from above them and crashes into the floor.

"Ow! That hurt!" Mia groans clutching her arm as she rolls around on the floor.

"Mia?! What are you doing?! Get up!" Donald orders as Chase helps her up.

"I was exploring the ventilation shafts. And can I just say, they are not robust. I crashed right through it." Mia groans as Chase leads her onto the platform, while the students look on with confused looks.

"Well, she was the fourth one." Donald chuckles nervously.

"Anyways, first things first. We have to get rid of your soldier numbers and give you some really, cool, new names. S-12, you are now Donald Junior! You're Donald the third. Dona, Donaldella, Donaldina!" He explains pointing to various different students.

"I don't wanna be a Donald. I already gave myself a name, Spin!" The boy beside Leo shouts.

"That's not really a name. Why do you wanna be called, Spin?" Donald asks giving him a strange look.

"'Cause I can do this." He replies before using his Rapid Gyration to spin around.

"He's on my team!" Mia shouts running over to Spin.

"Mia, we don't have teams. We have classes." Donald says giving her a strange look.

"I know, I was talking about the baseball team. You have to think ahead Mr Davenport." Mia chuckles hi-fiving Spin and walking back over to her siblings.

"Ok then, your Spin. You know what, forget yellow. You just moved up to green." Donald says smiling at Spin.

"Oh come on, he twirled!" Leo groans glaring at Donald.

"Mr. Davenport. I'd like to change my name from S-3, to Sebastian." S-3 says with a smirk.

"Really? 'Cause I always saw you as a Julio." Donald says with a shrug.

"Come on Big D!" Leo whines as he follows Donald into the training area.

"Leo, your not ready to be a mentor. So stop complaining and start getting to know your fellow students." Donald orders.

"I don't have too, they're all named Donald. Plus, I don't fit in anywhere. Everyone's already formed their own groups. Look, Adam's mentoring the bionic bros." Leo sighs pointing to Adam, who is trying to break up a fight with his students.

"Guys! Settle down! Settle down!" Adam yells as the students continue to wrestle each other with their super strength.

"Bree's the leader of the alpha girls." Leo says gesturing to his older sister, who kicks the head off a mannequin with her super speed.

"You can use that to fend off an attacker or to get even with a guy who stands you up on prom night. Not that I'm bitter." She explains to her students.

"Mia's mentoring everyone who has elemental abilities." Leo says gesturing to his other sister, who is forming a massive ball of water with some of her other students.

"This is awesome!" She chuckles as the water ball grows bigger.

"And Chase... is still being Chase." Leo says as he leads Donald out into one of the classrooms.

"What do you get when you cross a joke with a rethorical question?" Chase asks, making all of his students laugh.

"Everyone else is hiding because they're afraid you're going to give another speech." Leo adds.

"Well then, let's find them and give them one." Donald says before leading Leo back into the training area.

"As your mentor, I've scheduled today's activities by military time. If you'll direct your attention to the virtual blackboard, you'll see your classes." Chase explains as he switches on the blackboard, which is full of lessons that last for hours.

"Chase, it's only the first day. Take it easy on us." Sebastian says giving him a shocked look.

"I am taking it easy on you. If you had bothered to look at the magenta block, you would see that I have scheduled six and a half minutes of general horseplay." Chase scoffs pointing to the box.

"Oh, ok, there it is. Guess I must've missed it since I don't have microscopic vision." Sebastian says walking up to the blackboard.

"Ha! I do!" Chase shouts with a smirk.

"I'm just saying, if I was in charge-." Sebastian says.

"Yeah, well, your not in charge. Your in my class, so why don't you sit down and pay attention?" Chase orders.

"I've got a better idea. How about we just have our six minutes of fun now?" Sebastian suggests before swiping the blackboard, causing the timetable to fly out of place.

"What are you doing?! You touched my blocks! Nobody touches my blocks!" Chase yells putting it back in place.

"Oops, sorry, I must've slipped. Just like now." Sebastian says before messing up the timetable again.

"That's it! You just earned yourself detention mister!" Chase snaps glaring at him.

"Good! I don't even know what that is!" Sebastian shouts back.

"Hey Breezy." One of the students says as he walks up to Bree in the training area.

"Hey." Bree replies.

"If I didn't know any better, I'd say your stalking me." He replies with a smirk.

"I'm sorry, I don't even know your name." Bree says apologetically.

"Me neither. Look at us, so much in common." He sighs as Bree walks off.

The boy walks over to a gigantic dumbbell and prepares to lift them up, much to the shock of Adam.

"Woah, dude! Be careful! You could really hurt yourself with that. These weights are like a hundred pounds a piece." Adam gasps running over.

"You've probably never heard of it, but I've got a little something call super strength." He replies before lifting the weights up.

"Awesome! What else can you do?!" Adam gasps as he puts the weights down.

"Well, I'm the only kid in the whole school who can do this!" He shouts before levitating off the ground.

"You can fly?" Adam gasps as he flies back down.

"Technically, it's called levitation. Look it up, I had too." He explains.

"Either way, we're gonna have a blast together. What's your name?" Adam asks.

"Didn't get one yet. I was thinking Theodore." He replies.

"Nah, you need something more sophisticated and distinguished. A complex name for a complex man. I'm gonna call you, Bob!" Adam explains with a smirk.

"I like it! Wait, how do you spell that?" Bob asks.

"You and I are gonna get along just fine." Adam says with a smirk.

"Adam! Bree! Help!" Mia shouts running into the training area.

"What's wrong?" Bree asks running over to her.

"The cafeteria doesn't serve pizza!" Mia cries.

"You idiot! I thought you were hurt!" Bree snaps glaring at her.

"My soul is hurt!" Mia shouts, making Bree give her a strange look.

"And at 14:00 we'll all jump out the window and get eaten by sharks because it's better than listening to-." Sebastian says to the other students in his group, just as Chase walks into the room.

"Oh look, he's here." He groans.

"What do you think your doing?" Chase asks giving him an accusing look.

"Look, I'm just trying to make them laugh before you put 'em back to sleep." Sebastian sighs walking over to him.

"I don't put people to sleep, I motivate them to think with their eyes closed." Chase protests.

"Oh, well do you also motivate them to snore?" Sebastian asks with a smirk.

"That's it! It's time I show you who's boss!" Chase shouts.

"Really? Are you sure you've scheduled enough time for that?" Sebastian mocks.

"I'll make room!" Chase snaps glaring at him.

"Hey! Stop it! You can not pick a fight with him, your a mentor now!" Bree shouts walking in and pulling Chase back.

"He's turning my group against me!" Chase whines.

"Sebastian. You may not like the way Chase runs his group but it's his. And if you can't respect that, than maybe you should find a different one." Bree explains, making Sebastian sigh.

"Ok, when did I start talking like a mom?" She groans before walking off.

"She's right. The two of us in the same group just isn't gonna work." Sebastian sighs turning to Chase.

"Finally, something we can agree on." Chase mutters.

"Good, well I'm gonna take half of your group and make my own. Let's go guys." Sebastian says walking towards the door, half of the students following after him.

"Hey! You get back here! You can't do that!" Chase yells.

"Just did!" Sebastian shouts back.

"Good job guys. Maybe tomorrow you could try hitting the target instead of me." Donald says as a group of the students file out of the train area, leaving him alone.

"Hey Big D. Check out my new trick. I call it the bionic curveball." Leo says running into the room.

He fires one of his laser spheres, which spins around Donald and glides back into his hand with ease.

"That's fantastic Leo!" Donald gasps smiling at him.

"I know. Some might say it's the skill that only a mentor could-." Leo mutters.

"No! But if you learnt that in one day, imagine all the other things you will learn as a student." Donald says.

"Hey Big D. Wanna see what I learned?" Spin asks running in with Mia.

"Woah! Don't you call my Big D, Big D!" Leo snaps glaring at him.

"Check it out, Mia helped me perfect it." Spin says before showing off his new ability, allowing him to spin around even faster.

"Woah! Now that was incredible! You just moved up another color!" Donald gasps smiling at him.

"Me too?!" Mia shouts, jumping up and down like a child.

"Mia, you don't get colors. Your a mentor." Donald says giving her a strange look.

"Can I wear an armband? I wanna stand out." Mia asks.

"Fine. You can wear an armband." Donald sighs.

"Yes! Later Spinster! Handshake!" Mia shouts turning to Spin.

"Handshake!" Spin shouts doing a handshake with Mia before she runs out.

"Spinster!? New color!? He buffed the floor!" Leo shouts turning to Donald.

"Thanks Mr Davenport." Spin says as Donald walks out.

"Stop showing off! Your making me look bad!" Leo shouts glaring at Spin.

"I'm not showing off, these skills come naturally. Kinda like you and your ability to complain." Spin mocks.

"You are working my last nerve kid!" Leo warns in a strict tone.

"If you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go get my new color. You know, the one you didn't get." Spin mocks walking towards the door.

"Ahh!" Leo yells punching the wall, causing the whole island to shake.

"Uh oh." He mutters, just as a pipe bursts out of the wall and leaks water everywhere.

"Well that can't be good." He mumbles as he tries to block the water.

"Leo! You shouldn't have done that!" Spin shouts glaring at him.

"I know I shouldn't have done that! Stop stating the obvious and help me cover the leak!" Leo snaps back.

Spin runs across the room and grabs a metal bin before running over to Leo, the two of them holding it in front of the leak.

"When I punched the wall I must've hit a water pipe!" Leo shouts.

"Who's stating the obvious now?!" Spin snaps glaring at him.

"What happened? I felt the whole building shake." Donald gasps running into the room.

"Uh-well-uh-Spin did it!" Leo stammers, not sure what else to say.

"I did it?!" Spin shouts glaring at him.

"See, he confessed! He was just spinning all around the room and he went right into this wall! He must've hit a water pipe! Mia taught him, blame her!" Leo shouts.

"Leo, that's a water pipe in that wall! Spin's force must've cracked the foundation of the entire building! That's ocean water coming through!" Donald gasps.

"Ocean water!? Like underneath us ocean water!? Like we're all gonna drown ocean-!?" Leo yells.

"Yes! Ocean water!" Donald snaps frantically.

"Mr Davenport, I'm trying to tell you-!" Spin shouts desperately.

"Not now Spin! We have to deal with this fast otherwise the water pressure's gonna build up and knock the whole island off it's foundation! You guys find a way to patch that up, I'm gonna go look for other damage!" Donald orders before running out.

"I can't believe you blamed this on me!" Spin snaps glaring at him.

"I panicked! If he ever found I was the one who did this, he'd know I'm not ready to be a mentor!" Leo sighs.

"Guess what?! Your not!" Spin shouts dropping the bin and running out, leaving Leo to deal with the leak.

"Woah! Radical! Way to shred little man!" Adam chuckles as he stands on top of Bob as he levitates around the main classroom.

"Adam! Get off of him! He's not a surfboard!" Bree snaps as she run into the room.

"Surfboard! Me next!" Mia shouts running over, only to get pulled back by Bree.

"Woah, that was awesome!" Adam chuckles jumping off Bob and hi-fiving him.

"Hey Breezy! I've got a name now. What is it again?" Bob says smirking at Bree.

"Bob." Adam mutters from behind him.

"It's Bob. Are you loving it?" Bob asks with a smirk.

"Oh trust me Bob, she's loving it. In fact, she's adoring it." Mia says, making Bree glare at her.

"Hey Mia, let's go over here." Bree says grabbing Mia by the ear and dragging her across the room.

"Ow! This is abuse!" Mia screams as Bree drags her along.

"Hey Bob. Why don't we go outside and see if you can hover over the water like a real surfboard?" Adam suggests turning to Bob.

"What if it doesn't work?" Bob asks.

"No biggie, I can breathe underwater." Adam says with a shrug.

"But I can't." Bob replies.

"Well, then your in trouble." Adam mutters before leading Bob out of the room.

"How's the leak?" Donald asks walking back into the training area.

"Leak? What leak? That wall's as good as new." Leo stammers pointing to the wall, which is patched up with sticky tape.

"Mr Davenport, can I talk to you?" Spin asks walking into the room, now dressed in an orange shirt.

"Not now Spin! We're still cleaning up your mess! And by the way, your demoted back down to yellow! Or whatever's below yellow! Buttercup?! Your buttercup!" Donald snaps.

"But that's not fair! It wasn't even my fault!" Spin protests.

"I don't wanna hear it, and to think I was proud of you. Maybe your to young for this." Donald sighs before walking towards the door.

"Big D, wait." Leo says.

"What?!" Donald shouts turning towards him.

"It wasn't his fault. I did it." Leo says.

"You?" Donald asks with a shocked look.

"I got so frustrated I punched the wall!" Leo sighs.

"I can't believe you Leo! Not only did you damage my brand new academy but you lied to me and betrayed my trust!" Donald snaps glaring at him, just as the whole academy begins to shake.

"What was that?" Spin asks, a look of fear on his face.

"I don't know." Donald mutters.

"Mr Davenport!" Bree shouts from the classroom area, making the three of them run after her.

"Look!" She gasps pointing out the window, where water is rising against the window.

"The entire island is sinking!" Donald gasps.

"What? How?" Chase asks.

"Well you see Chase, when things sink, water rises-." Sebastian explains.

"I know how things sink!" Chase snaps glaring at him.

"Leo punched a wall and cracked the foundation!" Donald shouts turning towards Leo.

"Why would you do that?!" Bree shouts glaring at him.

"Well I didn't think this was gonna happen!" Leo shouts back.

"What did you think was gonna happen?!" Chase shouts, causing everyone in the room to break out into an argument.

"Hey! So he made a mistake, we all make mistakes! All though, not as big as that one. I mean, it was huge!" Spin yells, causing everyone to stop arguing.

"Ok! We get it!" Leo shouts, wanting Spin to stop yelling.

"Instead of yelling at him, let's help him fix it!" Spin adds.

"Do we have too?" Mia asks as she sits in the corner, a tub of ice cream in her hands.

"What are you doing?" Bree asks giving her a strange look.

"Don't judge me, I'm a stress eater." Mia mutters as she continues to eat the ice cream.

"I've got an idea! I can lift the island back onto it's foundation. I mean, I do have molecularkinesis." Sebastian says with a smirk.

"So do I buddy! Get in line!" Chase snaps glaring at him.

"That'll help but it's still not enough. The island is too heavy." Donald sighs.

"Don't worry, my whole group has molecularkinesis." Sebastian says.

"So does mine! Look, we can pool our abilities together to create one giant force and save the island. Come on, follow me." Chase says before leading his group into the training area.

"Oh no you don't! My group will raise the island! Follow me!" Sebastian shouts running in with his own group.

"Yep, we're all gonna die." Mia mutters as she, Bree, Donald, Leo and Spin run in after them.

"Come on guys! We got this!" Chase shouts as his team using their molecalrkinesis, causing the whole island to tip on one side.

"So do we!" Sebastian yells as his team use their molecularkinesis, causing the island to tip the other way.

"Stop it!" Bree shouts as she tumbles around the room.

"If you guys don't work together, we're not gonna have an academy!" Donald yells as Bree falls into the classroom area.

"We're almost completely submerged!" She shouts looking out of the window.

"What if we combine our groups? That way, we could spread the force and lift the entire island at once!" Sebastian suggests.

"Good idea! Everyone form a circle!" Chase shouts as he, Sebastian and the students form a circle around the room.

"Guys, water's already coming through the hydra loop tunnel." Bree gasps running back into the room.

"I'm on it!" Mia shouts running out into the classroom area.

"Alright, on my count. 3, 2, 1, now!" Chase yells, making all of the students use their molecularkinesis on the island, causing it to move upwards.

"It's moving!" Bree gasps as the island continues to move up, slotting back into place above the water.

"Yes! You did it! The island's back on it's foundation!" Donald shouts running towards the students.

"Good job." Chase says turning to Sebastian.

"Yeah, you too." Sebastian replies before walking off,.

"Hey, what do you know? All's well that ends well." Leo chuckles turning to Donald, receiving an accusing look back.

"Yeah, this isn't gonna end well." He mutters.

"I'm very disappointed in you Leo. But you took responsibility and didn't leave Spin on the hook. You learned a very valuable lesson today. As a student!" Donald explains before walking off.

"Hey. Thanks for standing up for me, you didn't to do that." Leo says sitting down beside Spin.

"Yeah, well somebody had to do it. You really messed up. I mean you really-." Spin chuckles.

"Ok!" Leo shouts, cutting off Spin before he can finish.

"So, friends?" Leo asks as he gets up.

"Yeah. Don't think I'm gonna show you up every chance I get." Spin says standing up beside him.

"And don't you think I'm not gonna train 24 hours a day to show you up like the runt you are." Leo mocks back.

"Runt! I will spin you back to the mainland!" Spin shouts glaring at him.

"Uh, I think you mean twirl." Leo says walking into the middle of the room.

"I don't twirl!" Spin shouts following after him.

"Face it, your a bionic ballerina." Leo mocks.

"I better be getting another armband for this!" Mia groans walking into the room, completely soaked in water.

"Yeah Mia, you can have an armband." Leo sighs patting her on the back.

"And I hope this experience as taught you two to stop working against each other and start working together. Now, Chase, is there anything you want to say to Sebastian?" Bree explains as she stands behind Chase and Sebastian, who are sat on chairs in the classroom area.

"I guess I could call a truce. As long as he promises to respect my authority as a mentor." Chase replies.

"And Sebastian?" Bree asks turning to Sebastian.

"I'm good with the truce as long as he stops acting like a bionic dictator." Sebastian says shooting a look at Chase.

"I only do that because I know what everyone should do and when they should do it! Okay, I see you point." Chase mutters.

"Alright good, I'm gonna make you two a snack. What is happening to me? Pretty soon I'm going to start carpooling at a soccer practice!" Bree cries before walking off.

"She's pretty cute." Sebastian says with a smirk.

"Dude, that's my sister." Chase groans giving him a strange look.

"I know. Could you put in a good word for me?" Sebastian asks.

"Truce is off!" Chase snaps jumping up and storming off.

The academy was gonna be interesting to say the least.
