Chanyeol was born on November 27, 2000 and never really enjoyed Jin's presence from kindergarten to 2nd grade but started to have more fun for the past 10 years. Jin kind of had a hint that Chanyeol didn't really like him, but always felt that Chanyeol had something special, so he kept on trying until a true friendship sprouted.

Chanyeol has an older sister that he always thought had a crush on his best friend, Jin. Whenever Jin was around the house, Chanyeol's sister would always try on a new outfit or talk to Jin in a flirty voice to try to catch his attention. Chanyeol didn't want his sister to be in the same college that both he and Jin had been planning to go to, but of course she had her ways to find out. 

Chanyeol's sister was Park Soo-young, Irene's ex-best friend. And, of course, Irene was Chanyeol's crush.
