*Jin's Perspective* 4:30 p.m., next day

    I exit my last class of the day and get ready to head back to my dorm when I see Joy strut up to me.

    "What do you want?" I ask coldly and uninterested.

    "Gosh. Moody much?" Joy responds.

    "Sorry about that. But hey, I just want to be real clear here, okay? I am not interested in you, and sorry, but I never will be. So if that is what you wanted to talk about, go somewhere else." I say smoothly.

    Joy had gotten better at controlling her emotions over the past year, but since I started getting closer to her again, I am still worried that she'll get the wrong idea again.

    "I know, I know. But anyways, that's not what I'm here to talk about. As you know, my New Year's party is after break. So, I am throwing a party at a club nearby. Don't worry, no creeps will be there; I rented the place. I'm here to invite you to my party. It's fine if you don't want to go, just tell me beforehand. Also, I'll allow you to invite Irene. I know I haven't been the nicest to her, but--" Joy says.

    "Yeah, you did kind of ruin her life." I interrupt.

    "Yeah, I know. But I've seen how close you've been getting with her, and I can tell that you like her. So if you are coming, invite her too. Not forcing you to bring her, but go ahead. And if she does come, keep her as far away from me as you can, because if I see her, some nasty words will come out again." Joy tells me as a warning.

    "Sure, I'll let her know." I tell her.

    "Great. And this party is invite only, so don't bring anyone else. Especially not Jisoo. Did you know she's been asking people who've you've been seeing since she got back? Gosh, I can't with that girl. Anyways, toodles." Joy flashes a smile.

    Jisoo is wondering who I've been seeing? was all that I kept thinking in my head. Of course I wasn't seeing anyone in particular, but why would she care? It's not like I was supposed to wait for her when I didn't even know if she would come back. I turn the corner and see Irene, and then we decide to walk back together, while I continue to think about what Jisoo, as well as how I'm going to invite Irene.

*Irene's Perspective* 4:30 p.m.

    As I gather my stuff, Taehyung walks up to me and starts talking as we walk out.

    "Hey, noona." he stops walking, leaving me a little ahead.

    "What?" I ask, walking back to him.

    "Can we talk later?" he asks back nervously.

    "Sure. Why not now though?" I question, confused.

    "I'm just not ready right now." he says and I nod back in agreement, making him just cut whatever he might've said.

    I see Jin as Taehyung and I say our goodbyes for now. I notice that something is on his mind as we start walking but I don't think much about it and just let him be. I throw myself on my bed after I change into some cleaner clothes when I get back in the dorm. I turn my phone on and see that there are multiple notifications, few of them from different chats.

minari - do you guys want to hang out today?

dubu - sure

wan-ah - yeah, why not? got to take a break from work

chae - i'm free

chae - what about you joohyun eonni?

baerene - i have to meet up with taehyung for a little bit later

baerene - maybe after!

wan-ah - okay, let's go to the arcade then, you can just join us afterwards eonni!

minari - Y A Y !

minari - I LOVE THE ARCADE

baerene - okay

baerene - i promise i won't be late

 I continued doing absolutely nothing until it was time to go. I made my way over to where we agreed on meeting, which was just the park outside the dormitory. When I arrived, he was already there. He didn't notice me for a while until I was just inches away.

"Noona!" he shouted, which startled me. He apologized. "So, um, I'm not planning on taking too much of your time. So I'm just going to get right into it."

"Okay." I was oddly curious on what he was so nervously building up to tell me.

"I like you." he spat out.

"Um, what? Excuse me?" I didn't understand.

"Ever since we got closer, I've started developing feelings for you. It's fine if you don't like me back, I just had to get that out." he quickly stated.

"Um. I mean. I guess we could try dating." I stutter out of my mouth.

"Really?! Great! Well, um, I have somewhere to be, but awesome!" he pulls me into a quick awkward hug.

What did I just do?

A/N: i'm not sure if i have used the honorifics in the past chapters but i will start being more aware of them now because it just randomly came into my head. also, in the prologues, i had written their birthdays but by the system i will be going by (their actual birthdays), it may not be accurate so please just ignore that. thank you!
