"Baby, it's not like you wont ever see me again" Silas said to me while rubbing my back as I clinged onto him.

My boyfriend was going back home today after staying with me for a little under two months. I didn't want him to leave though, I was so used to having him at home with me and sharing a bed with someone.

"Why do you have to go?" I asked as I tried to fight back tears. Call me dramatic but a bitch has attachment issues, don't be mad at me be mad at my father.

"Mami," Silas said kissing my head then grabbed my face lightly to look at him, "I need to go back. My mom needs help around the house since my dad his back in Mexico taking cause of my abuela" he fixed my hair and stroked my face

I sniffed trying to hide the fact that I was borderline crying. One half of me is dying for him to stay but the other half understands, but its gonna take some getting used to again.

"Okay baby" I sighed lightly looking up at him. Silas smiled at me then gave me a kiss, I kissed him back and then he went back to packing what was left of his things.

As I was having my melodramatic meltdown, Kika came in with Rue behind her. "Who died?" My sister asked as she saw me distressed

"Nobody, she's upset that I'm leaving" Silas answered for me. I snapped my neck at him glaring, "Yes because you're leaving me"

Rue laughed, "Yami your lil clingy ass"

"A big baby" Kika shook her head

I rolled my eyes, "Am not"

"Are too" All three of them say in unison

"I hate yall" I fake pouted walking over to the tv putting on jersey shore.

As I pretended to ignore my friends Rue and Kika started talking. The two were on her bed sparking up a blunt.

"So explain that shit to me again because you lost me" Kika said to Rue

"What part did I lose you at?"

"When you said Jules"

Rue laughed and shook her head, "You gotta stop zoning out when I say her name"

"Fuck that bitch" My sister rolled her eyes.

Rue pushed her a little then continued talking, "Be nice. Anyways, I'll just start from the beginning"

"Ugh"

"YOU WANTED TO KNOW BITCH"

Kika looked at Rue hard, "I'll knock your two front teeth out"

"Kika" Rue said my sister's name out of frustration, "can you just tell me what you need to know" she sighed hard

"How did yall get so close so fast, why you're so protective of her and are y'all together or what?" My sister asked

She really just wanted to know why Jules seemed so much more important than her, who has known Rue since first grade.

Rue was laying down on the bed as she answered all of Kika's questions, "I dont know how we became so close this fast, it's just addicting to be around her"

"Im not protective over her, I just want better for her...she doesn't have the best taste in lovers"

"Neither do you" I mumbled underneath my breath

"No we're not together, you know that. We're just close"

"Close" Kika repeated as she nodded her head

"Kika" Rue sighed

"What? I didnt say anything" My sister threw up her hands in defense

"Alright baby, I'm leaving" Silas said as we walked over to me. I sat up and hugged him tightly, I really dont want him to leave...

"Why can't you stay?" I asked sadly feeling like I was about to cry again

"Mama, you know why" He kissing my head, "You can still fscetime me and call me, I'll see you at school and you can come over" My boyfriend reassured me

I inhaled deeply and slowly blew out trying to gain my composure, "Okay baby" I smiled lightly

"I love you" Silas squeezed me a little and kissed me on the lips

I kissed him back and pulled away, "I love you too"

"You leavin' slim?" Kika asked whilst Silas gathered his stuff preparing to leave. His parents had already set a time that they were going to pick him up, I haven't checked the time but I guess it was now.

"Sadly. My parents decided I need to come home now" He said heading to the door, Sil really didn't have much stuff since he had clothes here. Really just shoes and school bag.

"Be safe man" Rue salutes him

"Yall too, see you at school" Silas said before he closed the bedroom door and left our house.

I still felt sad but decided to sit on Kika's bed with Rue and her.

"Well look who decided to join us" My sister said sarcastically

I rolled my eyes and grabbed her stuffed pig as a pillow. It was small so really I was just crushing it. My phone buzzed in my sweatpants pocket as the other two continued their conversation, I sat up a bit to retrieve my phone and looked at my screen.

It was a text was from Maddy.

"Maddy these are bad.." I whispered as I looked at the bruises that Nate had left her.

"Please dont tell anyone" She begged me

Maddy looked awful, dark circles underneath her eyes, dark purple bruises all around her neck and looked like she hasn't ate or slept since Friday.

I frowned knowing she needed to tell someone but instead nodded, "Promise"

"Now, wheres that blunt" Maddy smiled at me, I laughed a bit before digging in my bag pulling out the prerolled blunt I made Kika roll for me before I left the house.

"Tadaa" I said pulling out the blunt

"Perfectt"

"Where do you wanna smoke it?" I asked knowing her parents were home and didn't allow smoking weed in the house.

"Your car?"

"Bet. Let's go" I said grabbing my car keys and putting on my slippers

"Uhm...one more thing" Maddy added before we left her room

"Hm?"

Maddy looked nervous but spoke up, "Could I stay the night at your house?"

I dont think Maddy had ever came over now to think about it. Rue, Fez and Lexi have but not Maddy.

"Sure—Yeah" I said caught off guard. Maddy could tell so she quickly followed up with, "If not it's okay I can ask Cassie"

"Nono its fine!" I insisted, "so after we smoke you wanna go to my house? I think Rue and Kika are home" I warn her just in case

Maddy smiled pleased by my answer, "That's fine. I just need out of with horrid house" she mumbled a little, "I'll grab us waters before we go"

I nodded in agreement as I grabbed my bag from Maddy's chair and walked out if her room with Maddy behind me, I headed straight to the door feeling awkward with her dad in the living room.

Finally making it outside to my car, I unlocked it then got inside the drivers seat and put the keys in the ignition starting it. Less than five minutes later Maddy came out if her house with a big tote bag and two smart waters.

"Alright lets smoke" She huffed getting in the car and closing the door. Maddy out her bag on the floor in front of her and I gave her aux.

Maddy played So high by Doja cat as I sparked the blunt. She handed me my water whilst I inhaled the herbal hybrid blend of sativa and indica then passed it to her.

Sometimes I forgot Maddy smoked because she doesn't smoke strangers weed, which i could say the same by default since Fez has always been my dealer since I started smoking.

"I so dont wanna go to school tomorrow" Maddy announced as she inhaled some of the blunt then blew it out a few seconds later

"Same" I groan, "finna skip"

"I wish but I have people to stunt on" She agreed passing the blunt to me

I laughed, "Real" I agreed taking the blunt

The two of us smoked the rest of the blunt in ny car until it was a roach then headed back to my house. If Kika and Rue were home we'd be smoking a lot more, which wasn't a problem with me but Maddy doesn't smoke like us so she'd green out before the bong would even be brought out.

We pulled up to my house and I parked in my normal spot in the driveway. As usual, my dad was at work. I swear that man lives at Amazon.

"I've actually never seen your house before" Maddy said unbuckling her seatbealt as grabbed my bag and keys getting out of the car.

The two of us headed to the door and I unlocked it, "Not a lot of people do" I said leading her inside.

Maddy took a look around the house as I locked up. There wasn't much just a entrance with a shoe and coat rack and a small view of the living room from where we were. The house was dark so again, there wasn't much to look at.

"Why? It's so big, and it's a only you kika and your dad—which I haven't seen since freshman year"

"Honestly same, he works nights now so when we're at school..he's asleep"

I took Maddy's hand and led her upstairs to the room I share with my sister. Once I opened it I was surprised with an empty room.

"Kika must've gone to Rue or Fez's house" I said taking off my shoes and putting them next to the door with all of the others

Maddy did the same and once again looked at her surroundings, "You room is so big and pretty"

I smiled at the compliment, "Thank you. Me and Kika have similar aesthetics just I like pink a lot more than she does but we make it work"

Both of us enjoyed our dark stoner aesthetic with tapestries and led lights but add a little bit of an earthy aesthetic to it aswell.

12:00 am

"Where do you wanna sleep?" I asked Maddy, she had my or kika's bed to choose from or even the bean bag chair.

We has just finished another blunt and a bitch was tired, I was going to bed one way or another.

"With you?" She looked at me confused

I nodded, "I was just asking because if you didn't want to share I was about to suggest Kika's bed"

"Oh nah, it's fine" Maddy smiled

I got into my bed on the side I usually sleep on and grabbed the led remote that was laying on my night stand to turn them off. I'm scared of the dark so I always keep the tv on and play pink noise because it sounds better than white noise.

Maddy got in bed with me since we both had already changed our clothes before smoking again. I was already battling sleep as I laid on my right side facing away from her.

"Ugh you whore I wanted to cuddle" Maddy fake sighed acting mad

"You can cuddle ME but I'm staying where I am" I said to her with my eyes closed as REM was already starting. In all honesty, I was too comfortable to move.

"And will" She replied

A few seconds later I felt her body heat against my back and my hair being played with which put me to sleep even more.

"Goodnight Yami" Maddy said behind me still playing with my hair

"Goodnight" I whisper having no more energy to be louder as I drifted off into a deep sleep.

4:15 am

I woke up with a full bladder and pain all in my lower body.

I fucking forgot to pee before bed again

You see, I have this problem where when I smoke I drink a lot of water due to coughing and cotton mouth and just get too high to realize I need to pee until it's too late.

Slowly I got it out of bed trying not to cause myself anymore pain or wake Maddy up but I guess I had already did because as I was half way there to the bathroom I head Maddy still basically asleep ask, "Where are you going?" she was squinting leaning up from the bed slightly on her arm to look at me

"The bathroom, I'll be back" I mumbled as loud as I could with my now dry voice. I heard her say, "hurry up", as I closed the door to the bathroom.

I too was squinting from the bright light that swallowed the white mental hospital type walls. God we really need to paint these a different color.

Quickly I found relief from my bladder at I stopped peeing, I wiped, washed my hands, then turned off the bathroom light and opened the door again going back to the comfortably dark bedroom.

I picked up the leftover smart water Maddy had gave to me easing the scratchiness in my throat before getting back into bed.

"Finally" I heard Maddy mumble as she pulled me closer to her

It was a bit chilly in my room now so the eztra body heat felt good. Kika and I always had our windows open during fall and spring but boarded them up like the apocalypse during winter and summer.

I guess you could say we were spooning? But I hate that word, it sounds so weird. Maddy was "big spoon" in this case since she's the one who basically had me in a head lock so I wouldn't get up again

"Move your arm, I can't breathe" I whined pushed her arm off of my head

"Sorry" She said back quietly and instead wrapped her arm around my waist. I jumped a little at her cold hands touching my skin and she apologized again.

"Go to sleep" I whined a little pushing my head further into my pillow and pulled the many blankets that I had over me

After I got comfortable again I fell back asleep and Maddy held me. I somehow seemed to sleep better with her, like actually sleep not a half awake sleep or consistent waking up.

Weird

9:49 am

Soooo, we woke up late. There was nothing we were gonna do about it either besides take our sweet ass time.

Maddy was currently doing her hair as I threw on a denim skirt, white long sleeve top. I put on coconut smelling lotion with a hibiscus smelling perfume.

A bitch was tryna get ate today

"Damn that smells good" Maddy said finishing up her hair, she was now waiting for me to finish.

"Thank you, Kika stole it for me" I smiled at the christmas gift that my sister had gotten me the previous year.

I went over to my vanity where Maddy was and stood in front if it doing my hair.

"Oh my god" Maddy rolled her eyes, "Sit down we're already late" she said to me whilst pulling me down to sit on her lap

"I feel like this was an excuse to get me on your lap" I raised an eyebrow at Maddy through the mirror

My best friend shrugged, "Maybe" she smiled

My cheeks felt like they were getting warmer and I picking looked down faking to search for a hair tie

"Here" Maddy said handing me a hair tie

"Thanks" I rolled my eyes at her

I wet my hair making sure to spray Maddy on "accident" during the process then applied gel, and slicked back my hair into a low ponytail.

Today I decided to leave my hair curly and wet a couple spots where the curls were flat from me sleeping on them

"What time is it?" I asked grabbing new lashes that I boosted from the store and mascara

"10:10" Maddy replied

Fuck time is going by so fast

"Jesus" I said to myself as I put on my lashes and mascara on my lower lash line, finished off with some gloss then go my happy ass up and put on some socks and my white forces.

"Lets go" I told Maddy and the two of us left the house and went to school. We had already missed a whole class period so we were trying to make it before the second one started

The parking lot was thankfully not packed and we got a good spot by the door. Maddy and I sped walk inside trying not to be noticed as much as two late students can be, and went to class.

We didn't have class together for this period so we had to go out separate ways.

"Bye, Love you" Maddy hugs me and kisses my cheek

"Love you" I said back and smiled before walking to my math class that I shared with Kika.

I walked in with the swarm of kids going unnoticed all the way to my seat.

"Bitch you done missed half the school day" My dramatic sister pushed my head as she walked behind me to her seat which was behind me

"It's Maddy's fault" I groaned slouching in my seat a little with my leg crossed over the other

"What she do, Twin?"

I turned around to look at Kika and she lead in to listen as I spoke, "Girl tell me why after I went to her house she came over and stayed the night and had me in a death grip the whole time we slept"

"Damn she was trying WWE moves on you huh?" Kika asked laughing

I laughed and hit her playfully, "no but she showed me her neck and bro.."

Kika looked at me with wide eyes, "Hickies??"

I shook my head, "Nah man, fucking bruises... all over her neck. I think. Nate did that shit"

"So he's gay and a woman beater"

"That's sick" I scrunched up my face

The bell rang and the teacher started class. I never understood math and I'm not about to start now so I zoned out until something broke me out of my trance.

Ambulances were all in the front of the school and I got a perfect bird's eye few shot of what was happening.

More students started to catch on and instead of paying attention to the teacher, they were paying attention to what was going on outside.

"Fuck is going on?" Kika said behind me

The teacher soon caught on and closed the blinds before we could get a look at who the ambulance was for.

Whoever they were, I hope they're okay..
