Rue and I had been up all night getting high and watching Love Island. Her MacBook was near the end of the bed so we can both see while she laid on her side long ways and I was laying on my stomach in front of her.

"Kika move ya big-headed ass out the way mane" Rue complained while hitting me lightly on the back of my head.

I quickly turned around hitting her in the stomach, "I was here first ugly-ass" I rolled
my eyes going back to laying on my stomach,
"Plus you're behind me, fuck you tryna do?" I continued our little bickering session

"Shut up," Rue hit me again as she scooted up on the bed so she could see the screen better, "and MAYBEE I wanted to cuddle, God" she scoffed dramatically "You don't even love me anymore"

I gasped as I turned around looking at her in disbelief, "You a liar, and your breath stinks, if anything YOU don't love me anymore".

Rue rolled her eyes as she flicked my forehead, "I never stopped loving you".

For some reason hearing her say this gave me butterflies and had to fight the urge not to smile "You're a bad liar," I laughed

Rue laughed as well but as our laughter died down we were stuck looking at each other, it was the same damn look that we had earlier at the carnival.

My heart started to pick up the pace a little as we continued to look into each other's eyes. Now is the time to tell her how I feel-

Lets weigh out our options here and be realistic. Being delulu is more of Yami's thing, I can't take that away from her. Okay breathe, are we breathing?  We are breathing.

Rue is attached and obviously infatuated with Jules. This won't end well. You'll fuck up the friendship, and embarrass yourself. Play it safe, play it cool.

"You tryna have a staring contest or sumn" I asked breaking the silence. That was good, just breathe.

Rue smiled and rolled her eyes "Mmmhm and I was winning" She gloated in my face.

I gave her the 'stank face' and said "Girl no you wasn't"

"Kika Im not finna play with your like to argue ass" Rue shook her head sitting all the way up now.

I was still laying on my back because a bitch got a bad back...

Okay but no for real, I got that lunch lady walk. I started to feel vibrations on my back and was immediately confused, "the fuck" I mumbled getting up and feeling the spot where the vibration was coming from.

See my first thought was 'damn this bitch left her vibrator out' but as I pulled back the blanket I was laying on I quickly found out it was Rue's phone.

I looked at the name who was calling and wanted to throw the phone across the room.

"It's Jules," I said dryly dropping the phone in her lap.

She looks at it for a moment as if she didn't really wanna pick it up but did it anyways.

"Hey?" Rue answered confused as to why Jules would be calling at 5:49 in the morning.

I wasn't really interested in hearing whatever they were talking about so I got off Rue's bed telling her I'd be back before leaving her room going straight to the bathroom.

Sighing heavily I softly closed the door and locked it. I caught a glance of myself in the mirror and damn near jump scared myself.

"Jesus" I mumbled turning on the sink and splashed cold water on my face.

I had leftover makeup smudged on my face and it wasn't very pleasing to the eye. I did this about two more times then patted my face on the towel that was hanging on the rack.

"I need to smoke," I said talking to myself, like chief keef said, I hate being sober.

I took a few deep breaths then unlocked the bathroom door and left. When I got closer to Rue's room I could slightly hear her on the phone still, slowly I walked into her room trying to make less noise as possible.

"Wait wait- so Nate is Tyler?" Rue repeated what she said making sure she heard Jules right.

I stopped dead in my tracks now having my full attention on Rue as she talked on the phone. "Okay slow down.." Rue said clearly stressed out, she sighed heavily and put her head in her hands.

"He just showed up and threatened me" I heard Jules over the speaker, obviously in distress.

"He threatened you?!" Rue shot up from her bed now standing, she was visibly mad all while I stood in silence.

Rue finally noticed me standing over by the door and motioned for me to come over to where she was standing, I didn't really want to but I sighed to myself and walked over to where she was now anxiously tapping her thumb on her leg.

I stood next to Rue but not saying anything because what is there to say really? Like damn, bitch call Max and Nev or something, I don't know.

"Of course, I'm not gonna say anything," Rue  looked over at me like 'right?'

I rolled my eyes and nodded then laid back down on the bed. I was so over this shit and wanted to go back to sleep and ignore the last half hour. Plopping myself down on the bed Iaid on my side facing the wall and close my eyes trying to force myself to sleep.

I had no clue what time it was but It didn't matter, what mattered what getting some type of sleep but just because I was lying down doesn't mean I couldn't hear what was going on around me.

Rue sighed one more time before saying, "Okay...just keep me updated" She said softly then hung up the phone. She didn't go straight to bed though, Rue threw her phone on the bed and went through her closet mumbling, "Fucking Jacobs".
