I was in my hotel room very bored and I needed someone to talk to so I summoned Kurayami. The second she appeared she pounced on me and started purring and licking me saying how happy she is to see me.

"Ok Kurayami I think that's enough." I laughed.

"So what's up?" She asked.

"Oh the usual, Sasuke."

"Ah haven't seen him in a while since he left you, what's wrong now?"

"Oh that he's jealous that I'm getting over him,"

"YOU'RE GETTING OVER HIM! With whom? And you're with Sasuke again?!" She nearly shouted.

"I've been with Sasuke since Orochimaru died, it wasn't on purpose, it just....happened. I ran into him and he wanted me to join his team but he didn't know who I was but now he does. I'm getting over him because well I've been occasionally kissing this other guy in our group, Suigetsu." I said in one breath.

"Ah that does sound complicated. Why is it always you?"

"Exactly! Ever since I was put on team seven bad stuff has been happening to me. Do you know how many times I've almost died in the past five years? A lot like that one time at the Forest of Death, Final Valley, man that was scary, um training with Kisame, damn that was crazy, training with Hidan, too damn creepy, mostly training with the Akatsuki, um when we had to capture Gaara, one wrong move and I would've been dead, mostly capturing the Jinchuuriki, and Madara almost kills me a lot." I named counting on my fingers.

"I don't think seven is your lucky number," She chuckled.

"Must you always crack jokes and the worst possible time?"

"Yes," She said innocently.

"How advanced are you now?" I asked.

"Better than a few years ago,"

"Good, I want you to help us with capturing a Jinchuuriki."

"Oooooohhhhh sounds dangerous, I'm in."

"Sweet, so how about we discuss our battle strategy."

"YAY we get to work together again!" She cheered.

For the rest of the night we discussed our battle strategies with different scenarios. The sun started to rise which meant it was time to wake everyone up.

"Pst, Kurayami. Wake up Karin and scare the shit out of her."

"Will do."

She slowly approached Karin who was sleeping in her bed and got right up to her face with her mouth open revealing her sharp teeth. It was soooo hard containing my laughter. Kurayami started to drool on Karin which was making her wake up.

"What the hell is this?" Karin mumbled with her eyes still closed wiping the drool off her face.

She then opened her eyes and screamed bloody murder causing everyone else to wake up. I was laughing hysterically causing me to clutch my stomach and fall backwards, soon Kurayami was joining me in laughter. Suigetsu jerked up getting his sword but fell. Juugo jumped to his feet but he tripped over nothing because he was still tired and then Sasuke jerked up and just enjoyed the show but was still alert.

Karin glared at me and when Suigetsu started to laugh too once he realized what happened. I couldn't stop laughing neither could Kurayami.

"Hahahaha oh my hahahaha God hahaha that was hahahaha hilarious hahaha good job hahahah Kurayami hahaha." I laughed wiping a tear from my eye.

We gave each other a high five and kept laughing. Once our laughter died down Kurayami looked over at Sasuke and started to growl and got into an attacking position.

"Wow Sasuke, she does not like you." Suigetsu said.

"Of course she doesn't, he hurt her mommy so she wants to tear him limb from limb. Isn't that right baby?" I said in a baby voice rubbing her ears.

"You still have Kurayami?" Sasuke questioned.

"Of course I do! What kind of person would I be if I didn't have her?! I love Kurayami stupid, you should know that. Even if she does get on my nerves."

"She always got on your nerves."

"Aw he still loves you, can I eat him?" Kurayami said.

"Kurayami, shut up and no you can't eat him.......................yet."

"You can understand her?" Karin said.

"Yeah, the Kira clan can talk to animals. We should get going, come on Kurayami."

"Wait, you're seriously bringing her with us?" Sasuke questioned.

"Oh yeah, I forgot that you never saw Kurayami and I train. Sucks for you, but she's very powerful so of course she's coming."

We then packed our stuff, checked out, and walked towards the lightning village. When we got there we needed to find the Jinchuuriki so we went to interrogate some ninja. We found one and ambushed him. Suigetsu used his epic water thingy to hold him down.

"So where's this eight tails?" Suigetsu questioned.

"Don't underestimate our clan...I've no intention of telling anything to the likes of you! No one in the Yotsuki clan will ever betray our comrades that's-" He said.

Sasuke walked up and used his Sharingan to put him in a genjutsu.

"That's enough, Suigetsu. Sasuke's using his genjutsu." Karin said.

"Man, and I was just about to have my fun tormenting him....." Suigetsu said walking towards us.

"Tell me where the eight-tails is." Sasuke ordered.

"In the lightning cloud gorge training." He answered.

Before he could answer he fainted.

"Shit," Sasuke said.

"He has eight swords on his right shoulder, on his right shoulder there's a tattoo that says iron and on his left cheek there are bull horns." I said.

"And how do you know that?" Karin questioned.

"I read his mind." I answered.

"And you were reading it this whole time?!"

"Yeah,"

"WHY DID YOU MAKE SASUKE AND SUIGETSU GO THROUGH ALL THAT TROUBLE!" Karin screamed.

"Because it's entertaining." I answered.

"Let's go," Sasuke said.

"Geez those eyes are getting way to rigged...you're really getting on my nerves." Suigetsu thought.

"Wow....you're getting way to cool Sasuke, Mariah us annoying I hope we get rid of her soon." Karin thought.

"Nice place fells like I can suppress my urges. I can really calm down here." Juugo thought.

"So is that white haired guy the one you've been with?" Kurayami questioned.

"Yup,"

We then started to walk towards the gorge.

"And we're walking down the road to our destination, singing a song happily along our path." Kurayami sung.

"Kurayami, stop singing." I whined.

"No, I'm bored so I'll annoy you."

"I'm having second thoughts on bringing you." I mumbled.

"Aw but you love me."

"Yeah I do."

"Okay Mariah-chan it's a little creepy that you're talking to your cat who we can't understand so it seems like you're talking to yourself." Suigetsu said walking beside me.

"Yeah it's like you're going crazy." Karin snickered.

"Sorry been there done that, I've gone crazy before and it's not pretty." I replied.

We were all silent until we saw the Jinchuuriki.

"Suigetsu give me your sword," I said.

"Uh why?" He questioned.

"Because I wanna do something cool," I said.

"Okay?" He said unsure handing me his sword.

I then threw the sword into a tree and appeared on it looking away from the Jinchuuriki. Soon everyone else walked up to me.

 "Are you the eight tails Jinchuuriki?" I questioned.

"Don't you mean, excuse me, are you the great eight tails? Or are you the great and powerful Jinchuuriki?" He replied.

"Oh he's more conceded than you are Sasuke! Who knew that could be possible!" I said.

Suigetsu started to crack up while Karin glared.

"Was that really necessary?" Sasuke questioned.

"Hey don't you remember when we first saw Zabuza and he made his entrance like this and I said that I should have an entrance like this? Well I finally did it! My lifelong dream has finally come true."

They all sweat dropped then ignored me.

"You're coming with us," Sasuke said ignoring me. "I'll capture him, Suigetsu go right, Juugo left, Karin stay behind me, Mariah cover me." Sasuke ordered.

"Time for some in battle in action advice you little shit!" The Jinchuuriki said.

I threw the sword back to Suigetsu, he ran at the Jinchuuriki and took a swing but missed.

"Suigetsu! You're not suppose to freaking kill him!" I yelled.

The smoke cleared which revealed the Jinchuuriki holding Suigetsu's sword.

"I'm the only one who's allowed to hit myself. Fuck off ya little shit. Eat a punch while you're at it!" He rapped.

"Awe he sings, that is so cool!" Kurayami and I said that the same time.

Suigetsu's sword went flying into the air.

"Get back Suigetsu," Juugo warned quickly rushing to his aid.

Juugo activated his curse mark. It was all too fast and we saw him on the ground. ( I don't even know what happened)

"When you've got power to spare you shine you glare! The eight tails is the quintessential Killer Bee! Hip hip hooray! The fight has begun you're gonna get owned but before we turn this mother out." Killer bee rapped.

"What is with this guy? This freak took Juugo out?" Karin said.

"Well Karin, he has a love for music and has a lovely voice." I said.

"I'll handle this." Sasuke said.

"Hey, you're gunna die if you go at it alone! Why do you think that the Akatsuki travel in pairs?" I yelled.

"You got served, bitch! You should listen to the little lady."

"Oh my God he's hilarious! By far he's my favorite Jinchuuriki!" I laughed.

"Who are you kids, ya punk ass shits?"

"This guy....is freaking crazy..." Suigetsu concluded.

"We are all crazy Suigetsu," I said.

"Who are you cats? Why are you after me?"

"That's none of your business." Sasuke replied.

"Weird looking dude, terrible rhymes...this job blows." Suigetsu said.

"Hey he's good at rhyming better than you, and this job is entertaining." I said.

"This is the fastest way for us to gain more power. If you don't like it, go home." Sasuke answered Suigetsu. "I want to know if what we were told about the Bijuu is true or not and I want to know now."

"You're gunna get yourself killed," I sung.

"And either way, we're the ones using Akatsuki. Try to keep that in mind." He said ignoring me drawing his sword.

"Now shut this guy up. If I have to hear another lame rap I'll kill myself." Suigetsu said.

"Please don't." I told him.

"SAY WHAT?! THESE ARE THE HOTTEST RHYMES IN THE WORLD BITCH! AH YEAH!"

"I'm fed up with this nutcase! You can't rap for shit!" Karin said.

"Aw give him a break, I think he's great." I said.

"How are you not fazed by this?!" Karin said to me.

"Well to answer your question Karin I have grown up being isolated, then seeing my clans death, then being experimented on living alone training my ass off being a ninja going to an academy full of a bunch of weirdos, then being put onto a team with a retarded shinobi who didn't even know how to pronounce chakra, a whiny Sasuke fan girl, and then that emotionless bastard over there. Then I had the most lazy sensei ever where we faced a BUNCH of wierdos on missions and then I had to join the freaking Akatsuki with freaking circus people who are insane! I'm only freaking sixteen for God's sakes and I've seen plenty of weird in my life that nothing fazes me anymore." I said shutting her up.

Sasuke lunged towards Bee with his sword while Bee grabbed Suigetsu's sword blocking Sasuke's attack. Sasuke put his sword into the hole of Suigetsu's, swung for a kick landing it just under his chin but Bee wasn't fazed. He took out a note book and stared to write down some more raps.

"HA he's ignoring you!" I laughed.

Sasuke flung Suigetsu's sword back to Suigetsu which he caught.

"Now I'm jacked up. Thanks, bro you gave me an idea for a real badass rhyme. And since I'm bored baby, you can taste my sword, and I don't mean maybe!"

Bee reached for his sword flinging them upward.

"Watch it Sasuke! He's an incredible swordsman! He's no ordinary ninja!" Suigetsu warned.

Bee caught all of his swords. One on his shoulder, one in each of his hands, another under his arm, in his mouth, his thigh, and by his knee.

"Damn, that's so cool." I commented.

"I'll make you jam out to my hook."

"What's that weird stance?" Suigetsu asked.

Bee lunged towards Sasuke with all of the swords spinning going after Sasuke. With three swords he attempted to stab Sasuke but he jumped away just in time earning a scratch on his cheek

"Sasuke are you all right?!"  Karin yelled.

"His movements are so unorthodox I can't read his swords at all." Suigetsu said.

Sasuke then made hand signs for Chidori and grabbed his sword. Bee deflected it with his own chakra sword. I was starting to worry.

"I'm the Hachibi, you can't hit me, I float like a butterfly." Bee rapped.

All of Bee's swords flew into Sasuke.

"STING LIKE A BEE!"

Sasuke!" Karin yelled.

"And this'll finish you off." Bee said ready to swing at Sasuke.

My mood changed to being serious. I quickly got out my sword and ran towards Sasuke. I jumped into the air pulled my arm back and shot of my blades towards Sasuke and Bee. The blades made an arch over Sasuke deflecting Bee's sword. My sword absorbed his swords lightning attacks. Sasuke made Chidori and placed his hand on my blade but Bee dodged it. Juugo came up from behind and punched Bee in the face. Karin came and dragged Sasuke out harm's way. I landed on the ground and ran towards Sasuke.

"Sasuke!" Karin said concerned.

She removed the swords then pulled up her sleeves revealing bite marks.

"Come on! Bite me, Sasuke! Hurry!" She commanded.

Sasuke then bit her arm which healed him.

"You saved me, Karin." Sasuke said.

Oh I could just feel the jealousy rise up in me. I looked back at Bee who was standing on a rock.

"Let's all four go after him, Sasuke. To be honest he's insanely strong. Forget about trying not to kill him, we've gotta fight to kill! Then we should be able to defeat him without killing him." Suigetsu said.

"If you kill him then it will be on my head. If you can't defeat him without killing him then let me handle it." I said with no emotion.

Juugo and Suigetsu then surrounded Bee distracting him from Sasuke and I. Bee then punched Suigetsu making him go into his liquid state. Sasuke and I activated Chidori aiming it towards Bee.

"Now, Sasuke Mariah-chan! Get us both!" Suigetsu shouted.

Sasuke hit his stomach while I got his side electrocuting Bee. He fell to the ground so we both ran towards Suigetsu and supported him as Juugo came down to hit Bee. When the smoke cleared Bee was nowhere in sight.

"He's gone...." Juugo said.

I gently set Suigetsu on the ground and turned towards the  location where Bee was. I disappeared then reappeared behind him. I started him then kicked his back towards the others. He quickly got up and held up a sign.

"All right, time for number eight! Whheeeeeeeee!!!" Bee shouted.

"Fuck, GET BACK!" I shouted as Bee started to transform.

His body started to be the eight tails cloak. I activated my Sharingan lunging towards Bee. He went for a punch but I nearly dodged landing on the ground. Bee headed towards the others.

"You guys will be the first to burst." He said.

There was a huge crash. I looked over to see Kurayami next to me.

"Kurayami, plan D." I said.

"Are you sure?"

"Positive."

She nodded as I started to do a handful of hand signs.

"Ninja art: Animal transformation!" I said.

Soon Kurayami started to be absorbed into my body. I felt a surge of power burst through my body. I started to grow cat ears, cat tail, sharp claws, and really sharp teeth. My hair was more animal like and I could see clearer. I could see through the smoke and saw Bee about to attack Sasuke.

Before he could reach Sasuke I got in front of him deflecting the attack. My hands grabbed onto his which was burning mine with the cloak. My eyes were filled with the lust for bloodshed. My animal instincts were taking over my senses but I had to resist. I knew this would be risky but it was worth it. I turned my head to Sasuke.

"Sasuke......use..your..ack....Sharingan..." I said holding Bee back with all my strength.

My voice was more beast like and harsh. Sasuke got out of his shock and nodded activating the Mangekyou Sharingan. Bee then fell forward which I moved out of the way making him land face down on the ground. Sasuke covered his right eye and started to pant. Bee quickly got up and hit Sasuke making his blood spew from him colliding with Juugo who caught him. I couldn't help but watch Sasuke. Every part of my body was screaming at me to check on him but I had to finish this. While the others were taking care of Sasuke, I turned back to Bee.

"In order to break the illusion, I need a partner who can disturb my chakra and snap me out of it. My partner is the beast inside me. Illusions won't work on a host who can control their beast. Disillusionment and destruction await. That will be your fate. When I transform into my true form, a beast you must meet, yeah."

He then transformed into the ox/octopus. It was HUGE! I looked up at it with a smirk plastered on my face. Finally a challenge.

"Cower before the power of the best! I'm gunna bully you, cause I'm a longhorn bull! Wheeeeeeeee!!!!"

The beast lifted up his tentacle ready to attack but Suigetsu hit him with a wave sending it back.

"So you're a water ninja...you have the advantage here." The beast said.

"I'll handle this. You guys get out of here while you can!" Suigetsu said.

I summoned chakra to my feet and ran up the water to Suigetsu's side.

"Come on, Sasuke!" Karin said supporting him.

"Suigetsu.....Mariah..." Sasuke said.

"I won't let you get away now, you stupid idiots!" The beast shouted.

He then made a giant orb from his mouth. Suigetsu and I sprang into action and blocked the attack with water while I used an ice shield which shattered sending me through the air. The blast sent Suigetsu back making him dissolve into water. I landed on my back but quickly got to my feet and stood my ground making hand signs.

"Water style: Water bullet no jutsu!" I shouted sucking in my breath.

As I released my breath the water bullet shot out hitting the beast sending him back. He fell to the ground but he wouldn't be down for long. My mind started to drift towards Sasuke. I saw him remembering us, how we helped him through this battle then he remembered team 7. He looked over at me meeting my gaze with worry in his eyes. The beast got back up and swung a tentacle at me which I dodged. I started to make more signs.

"Water style: Tidal wave no jutsu!" I shouted.

I huge tidal wave then went towards the beast which he couldn't dodge.

"Ice element: Ice piercing dragon fierce tiger!"

A giant ice tiger formed and attack the beast head on weakening it. It laid on the ground motionless; I knew that this battle was far from over. Suddenly I was forced back hurling through the air at an immense speed hitting the ground creating a large and deep creator in the ground.

I groaned in pain as I got up. I looked up to the sky and figured that I was about 200 feet in the ground. I felt a stinging pain in my back but I had to ignore it for now. Cuts and scraps covered my arms and legs which looked pretty bad but I had to finish this battle. I poured chakra to my feet and leaped into the air landing on my feet on the ground. He started to aim his attack towards Sasuke so I made more hand signs.

"Ninja art: Black tornado!"

Soon a huge black tornado came and sucked up the beast but only to my disadvantage to be blown back at Sasuke. I quickly ran over to him and pushed him and the others all out of the way. My eyes widened as it was too late to get out of the way making more signs.

"Earth style: Earth wall!"

I large sturdy wall appeared in front of me while all of my defenses appeared also. He crashed thru the earth wall and hit my shield, broke it and came in contact with Shadow. None of them worked which caused him to collide with me and land right on me breaking most of my bones. His heavy massive body on my little fragile one.

Soon I felt the pressure get off of me. I opened my eyes to see that it has risen to its feet. I looked over to where Sasuke was and saw that his eye started to bleed then opened it. Black flames spread onto the beast causing him to scream and fall into the water. Sasuke covered his eye with his hand. It went berserk and started to flail its tentacles around. Karin knocked Sasuke out of the way of one putting herself in danger. At the last second before she would get hit, Sasuke used his Chidori stream to slice the tentacle in half.

"Karin, run!" Sasuke yelled.

Too late, the enflamed tentacle hit Karin causing the black flames to enflame Karin's back. Sasuke advance towards Karin but Juugo held him back.

"Shit! The black flames!!" Sasuke cursed.

"Karin's done for, let's get out of here before it gets us, too!" Juugo said.

"Wait Juugo,"

"It's no use."

I  painfully got up, I don't know how but I got up with all of the broken bones that I have. The unbearable immense pain shooting through my shattered body threatening to make it worse. I couldn't look down at my body to see my condition, all I knew is that I had to save Karin. I felt my body starting to quiver while the exhilarating pain shot through every inch of my body; I could smell the sweet, gruesome metallic blood flowing out of my body.

Everything seemed to go into slow motion as I ran towards Karin. I activated my Mangekyou Sharingan and made the flames die out on her back. Juugo extended his arm grabbing Karin while Sasuke used his Sharingan to get rid of the black flames engulfing the Jinchuuriki. I finally fell to my knees from the pain, my body started to shut down.

"Looks like...he's still alive." Juugo said.

*Kurayami, leave my body.*

*No! You'll die! Your chakra is dangerously low even with me fused with you!*

*Do it now, as long as they're safe I don't care what happens to me*

I then felt her presence leave my body and I felt weaker; I'm so close to death.

"Now...we don't have to kill him..let's hurry and get him out of here." Sasuke panted.

I could hardly move it was hard to breath. I looked over to see Juugo advancing towards me with worried eyes. He knelt down beside me and checked my pulse for I was not moving or even blinking. I heard him sigh in relief to me being alive but just barely. Kurayami was next to me telling Juugo to lift me carefully onto her back. We walked back over to Sasuke, when he saw me his eyes widened with concern. We came right to my side and examined me.

"Shit, this is bad. You're in worse condition than when you fought with Orochimaru in the forest of death." Sasuke said.

"H..hey.......don't.....wo...worr...yy....a...bout......me..." I painfully said.

"Why did you protect us?"

"I.....don't............know........."

"Rest for now, we'll get you to Madara."

Sasuke carried me to the base while Karin and Suigetsu were on Kurayami's back and Juugo was holding the Jinchuuriki. I couldn't help but stare at Sasuke the whole time wondering how injured he actually was. He never shows how much pain he is in which worried me since I saw how much of a fight he put up.

"Looks like it takes a lot out of you. Even after Orochimaru's cursed seal was gone, the wounds Itachi gave you didn't heal." Juugo said.

"Yeah I never thought we'd have this hard of a time, though. I should've listened to Mariah." Sasuke replied glancing at me.

 My eyes were only closed, I heard Kurayami snort at Sasuke's reply. I couldn't help but notice that the man that we had wasn't the real one. He got away, if only I wasn't injured then I would go back to capture. After five of hours walking, Sasuke decided to rest so he sat down on the ground still holding me. I reached out my hand which caught Sasuke's attention. I moved it to his chest weakly keeping it rested there.

"You're sure you're okay, Sasuke?" Juugo asked.

"Yeah, let's just go. We're almost at the rendezvous point." Sasuke replied.

 I had gathered up enough chakra so I started to heal him.

"Mariah don't, you're wasting your chakra on me." He said.

"N....no........I'm not....yo...you're..more impor...tant than.....me."

"Save your strength. Come on, we better keep going." He said standing up.

Kurayami got up and started to walk again. Finally we reached the rendezvous point where Sasuke literally dropped off Bee.

"Here's the Hachibi, just as we promised." Sasuke said.

"Excellent work; I knew you had it in you." Madara said.

Sasuke turned and walked away.

"Where are you going?"

"First we're going to heal up and then....to Konaha." Sasuke replied.

We then got to the living room where Juugo set Suigetsu and Karin down for them to heal on the couch. Sasuke gently placed me on the couch facing up. I watched as Sasuke pulled the recliner closer towards the couch while Juugo sat in the other one; Kurayami laid down on the floor right by me. I felt a presence as saw Kisame walking down the hallway.

"Kisame," I said weakly.

He looked over and saw me on the couch. He quickly came over and examined me.

"Can....you........h....help......me?"

"Yeah, I'll take care of your wounds." He said carefully picking me up.

He took me to the infirmary and gently put me on the bed and gave me X rays.

"Your bones have been crushed, you have internal bleeding, and it looks like some damage to your head. Your chakra is still low but you'll be able to heal yourself within a day. I'm going to stop the bleeding and clean you up, it's going to hurt."

"Okay,"

He took out a rag and bucket then started to clean the blood off of me the best he could. I bit my lip holding back a scream. He was done cleaning my wounds the best he could then he gave me a goodbye and left me alone to heal.  This was exactly how it was before, when I first came here. I was in the same bed as before staring up at the same ceiling. I heard someone come into the room. I look over to the door and saw an exhausted Sasuke coming towards me. He pulled up a chair to my side and reached for my hand. He carefully held my hand and rubbing the back of my hand with his thumb while staring into my eyes.

"Why did you risk your life to save me?" Sasuke questioned.

"I-I don't know," I answered.

I knew where he was going with it but it's going to be hard to admit this out loud.

"I think you do know,"

"Sasuke, I-I-I love you." I choked out with tears in my eyes.

Sasuke moved the chair over so his head was close to mine.

"I love you too Mariah,"

I painfully lifted up my arm, put my hand to his neck as he leaned down and kissed me. It felt just like it did all those years ago. My lips tingled with glee, the sparks from our kiss sent shivers down my spine, and it was what I needed. The emotions in the one kiss was almost too much. Our pain, sorrow, lonliness, happiness, relief, and love were all poured into this one kiss and it couldn't have been better.
