(Still Suigetsu's POV)

We gasped. Her eyes widened and she tensed.

"By your reaction what he said was true. Where is Itachi Mariah!"

"I-I can't tell you, he'll find you when he's ready." She replied weakly cowering at his shouting.

"That's not a good answer Mariah. Where is he?!"

"Itachi will find you when it's time! He already has it planned out!"

"Mariah. Tell. Me. Now!" He ordered pissed.

"I can't Sasuke."

"Fine then answer me another question then. Were you with the Akatsuki all this time!"

She looked away. Sasuke got up and grabbed her chin making her look at him.

"Yes I was," She whispered.

"Why?!"

He said squeezing her cheeks.

"Because they saved my life you jerk! If it weren't for them then I'd be dead because of you! If you and Naruto hadn't of fought or if you hadn't of went to Orochimaru then we wouldn't be in this mess! They saved my life so I repaid the favor by joining them! They trained me and I got stronger!"

"Why didn't you fight back?!"

"Because Tobi is stronger than me and would kill me jackass!"

I then saw her shadow move and it wrapped around Sasuke. The shadow looked exactly like her but darker and with all red eyes.

"W-what's this?" Sasuke questioned.

"My shadow, it does whatever I tell it to. It's like another me; she comes in handy. Now Sasuke, leave me alone. I don't want to explain myself to you." She said. "Shadow, transport me away from here."

Then her shadow let go of Sasuke and covered her completely then she was gone.

"Damn it," Sasuke cursed.

I helped him lay down back onto the bed.

(Mariah's POV)

Shadow made me appeared in the forest where the battle was. She quickly untied me and I started to slowly heal myself but it didn't work because my chakra is too low.  I sighed and lay down on the grass.

"Great, he knows the truth about me now. He probably hates me and wants to kill me."

"See Mariah, you should've killed him or listened to me."

"Go away and leave me alone," I cried.

My heart was hurting; it felt like it was going to explode.

"I can make the pain go away Mariah. Please allow me to take the pain away."

I started to consider it. I was thinking about the benefits of everything that could happen.

"Will you let me take your pain away?"

"Ye-"

"MARIAH!" I heard someone shout.

I looked in the direction that the voice came from and saw Kurayami. She was running towards me and had a scroll in her mouth.

"Hurry Mariah, what's your answer?"

"Kurayami what's in your mouth?" I questioned ignoring the voice.

"Kakashi told me to give it to you." She panted.

"How does he know I'm alive?"

"I don't know but this is important."

I grabbed the scroll from her mouth and opened it then started to read.

Kira clan: Once every ten generations there is a child born with a purple eye with blue stripes. He/she would be very powerful and could master all the Kekkai Genkai out in the ninja community. They are extremely dangerous though an must be killed before copying her first Kekkai Genkei. If you don't kill the child then make sure that you keep them happy no matter what. They must always be happy, if they're depressed that they want to stop feeling pain or commit suicide then kill them. They reach a point where they will suffer from what they think is insanity but it isn't. They hear a voice in their head, it starts out as they think that they can tell the future so they trust it.

As their life gets worse the voice starts to talk to them and telling them to kill people who are close to them. It will do anything for them to want to give up their life or pain. If the child agrees then it takes over their body and brain killing their spirit in the process. A demon takes over the body and causes destruction amongst the world which caused the first ninja war.

If they become consumed by the demon then it will be almost impossible to kill them; only a powerful Uchiha can stop them. Madara Uchiha was the one who stopped the last child with his Sharingan.

My eyes widened as I finished reading the scroll. It all made sense now. Madara wanted me to be miserable so he had to kill my family even though they were going to kill me, he wanted me to be alone, he wants to take Itachi and Sasuke away from me, and he beats me. He wants to control me like he did with the kid before.

"Kurayami, tell Kakashi that I said thanks. I almost gave in."

"Okay," she said.

She then started to run back into the direction that she came in. I was filled with so many emotions right now, anger, heartbroken, confused, and mostly rage. I got up and felt pain on my back; I couldn't heal it because I couldn't reach the cuts and bruises. I started to walk towards the nearest Akatsuki base but collapsed.

(Kakashi's POV)

We were running through the forest and then we saw Kurayami coming towards us. We stopped and so did she.

"Did you deliver the scroll?" I asked.

She nodded.

"Did you get it to her on time?"

She started to meow.

"Kurayami said that she just made it, if it were any later it would've been too late." Kiba translated.

"Thank God." I sighed.

"Kakashi-sensei, who did you send Kurayami to? And why her and not Pakkun?" Naruto asked.

"I sent her to an old friend and Kurayami was the only one who could do the job." I replied not wanting to go any further with this conversation.

Kurayami started to meow again.

"Kurayami says that she's injured and losing a lot of blood." Kiba said.

"Lead us to her," I said.

She nodded and started to run in the direction she came from so we followed.

"Kakashi-sensei where are we going?" Naruto asked.

"We have to save an old friend, when you see her please don't freak out."

In the distance I could see Mariah's figure laying face down covered in blood, bruises, cuts, gashes, and burn marks. I landed next to her and checked her neck for a pulse. The others landed next to me in confusion. There was a pulse but it was very faint.

"Sakura can you heal her?" I asked.

"Um sure but isn't she with the Akatsuki?"

I lifted Mariah up and had her lying on her back.

"Kakashi-sensei! Why would we help her?! She's with the Akatsuki!" Naruto yelled.

"Not by choice Naruto, plus take a closer look at her." I replied calmly.

"Shouldn't we turn her into the ANBU?" Hinata asked.

"No, Sakura heal her. She's almost dead." I ordered.

Sakura then started to heal Mariah.

"Why should we care about her? She helped capture and kill Gaara, she killed Asuma-sensei, she's killed so many people, and she almost killed us?!" Naruto shouted.

"Naruto calm down, didn't you notice that she never attacked us first? She defended herself or listened to orders from the Akatsuki members. When she fought us she never intended to hurt you at all. All she did was push us back so she could escape. She could've killed you but she never did."

"So?"

"She was never our enemy. I met up with her  Kurayami and she told me and pakuun the truth."

Sakura was almost finished and Mariah started to wake up. When she opened her eyes they were her normal color and she was surprised.

"Kakashi, why did you bring them here?" She asked weakly.

"I had to, you were almost dead."

"K-Kakashi....w-why does s-she have Mariah's eyes?" Naruto asked.

"Because...She is............Mariah...." I said.

They all gasped. Mariah looked at the ground.

"No...it can't be Mariah....She's dead." Naruto said.

"It is Mariah, Naruto." I said.

(Mariah's POV)

Crap Kakashi just had to bring them here! Now they know that I'm alive. I looked down at the ground in shame.

"No...it can't be Mariah....She's dead." Naruto said.

"It is Mariah, Naruto." Kakashi said.

"Mariah......." Naruto started.

".................I'm so sorry Naruto..." I cried. "I'm so so so so so so so so so so so so so sorry. I....never wanted to join....the Akatsuki...after the incident they....saved me then brought me to the base...."

"Why?" Sakura started.

"I had no choice....either I join them or.....they kill me and destroy the village.....I wanted to go back....I really did..but I couldn't....and when I saw you guys again I was so happy........I never wanted to fight you guys.......but if I didn't follow orders then..........something would happen....."

"But Mariah, you're so strong...." Kiba said.

"I know but someone in the Akatsuki is.....more powerful than me.....he's just using me...........he wants me to be miserable so he could control me..."

I then felt someone hug me, then more people. I looked up and saw that everyone except Sai, Shino, and Kakashi were hugging me. I felt my tears streaming down my face.

"H-how can you forgive me so fast?" I asked.

"You're our friend Mariah, and we're glad that you're alive."

"Thank you," I cried.

"Mariah, are you coming back to the village with us?" Naruto asked.

"I can't....they'll hunt me down. But I need to warn you about something, the Akatsuki might ambush the village soon looking for you Naruto. I don't know when but I heard them talking about it. It will happen soon though." I said.

"Who will it be?" Kakashi asked.

"I'm guessing Leader-sama and his partner Konan. If it is them then be careful and don't let your guard down for a second. They're very powerful and dangerous; Leader-sama has the Renningan."

"What! That's impossible, it's just a mutation." Kakashi said alarmed.

"It is possible, I have it because I copied it from him when I was little."

"Mariah, can I talk to you." Naruto said.

We walked a little away from the group.

"What is it Naruto?" I asked.

"It's about Itachi. He came to me and just talked."

"What did he tell you?"

"He said that he trusted Sasuke with me."

A single tear went down my face.

"If he told you that then............that means it's almost over...." I whispered.

"What do you mean?"

"Itachi's end is almost here."

"What?"

"I'm sorry Naruto, but I have to go. Once the Akatsuki is dead I'll come back to the village." I said with a genuine smile. "I promise."

My shadow then wrapped around me and I appeared in the rain village. I noticed that it wasn't raining.

"Shit, this is bad. It's supposed to be raining; someone has intruded in this village." I said.

I appeared to where I felt chakra fading. I arrived to see Jiraiya laying face down on the ground with rods in his back and blood surrounding him. His chakra was fading slowly. He started then to think about Naruto and his parents and how he was the one who named him. He started to get up.

"I was certain his heart had stopped..." Leader said.

The toad that was on his shoulder and Jiraiya started to write something on his back. Leader-sama was about to stop him from finishing the writing and since it seemed important I sent my shadow towards Leader-sama and made it wrap around him. He looked up at me in anger.

"Mariah," He warned.

Jiraiya looked up at me and smiled.

"I knew you were still alive," Jiraiya thought.

The other paths of him started to run towards him. I activated my Renningan and summoned my paths to stop them. They all stopped Leader's paths but not for long. Leader fought back the shadow and my paths started to disappear. Leader got out of the shadow and came from behind me then stabbed me and pinned me to a wall.

He turned back to face Jiraiya.

"He got away."

Jiraiya was slowly floating down into the water.

"Jiraiya..one of the legendary three sannin is dead. If we hadn't kept our secret, we would have never won. I can give you no higher praise than that, my former teacher. By the way...you can come out now." Leader said.

Then Zetsu popped out.

"That took you a long time." "He was fighting Jiraiya after all."

"He appeared out of nowhere. Right after Madara ordered me to capture the nine tails."

"I'd love to see how that plays out..mind if I come along?" "No way, I', going to watch a different fight. "Huh? What's that supposed to mean?" "Just shut up and listen!"

Ok so he was arguing with himself, weirdo, so I just decided to get out of here. I appeared next to Itachi and Kisame and landed on my knees in pain clutching my stomach.

"What happened?" Kisame questioned.

"Oh the usual, got in the way of Leader-sama killing a person I know." I said while healing my wound.

Itachi gave me a worried look as I healed myself. Once I was done, I walked with the two all the way to one of the Uchiha hideouts. My hand brushed against Itachi's then he grabbed my hand clutching it tight.

"So, this is it huh?" I spoke up.

"Yeah," Itachi sighed.

When we reached the sight, Itachi let go of my hand and turned to face Kisame and me.

"You two stay here and wait for Sasuke. Mariah when Sasuke comes lead him to me even if he protests. I know that you want to watch the fight even though it will kill you but whatever happens, don't interfere. Kisame you will stay here and make sure that his team doesn't interfere."

Itachi soon left and after half an hour Sasuke finally arrived. When they saw me they all glared. I had an emotionless face while staring back at them.

"Only Sasuke may pass, you three stay here." Kisame said. "Oh and Mariah will be coming with you."

Sasuke glared then walked right passed me. I started to follow him into the forest.

"Why are you coming with me?" Sasuke questioned coldly.

"Because it was Itachi's wishes." I answered.
