Anthony's POV:

Aria loves me? My Aria loves me?
Her fragile hand suddenly drops from my face and fear took over me.

"Aria dear, wake up. Please don't do this". I said patting her cheeks as tears gather in my eyes.

She didn't even move a muscle, no no no. Aria can't die.
Aria loves me. She can't die now.

"Aria please wake up, please let me see that cute brown eyes of yours". I begged as my heart arch and squeeze.

A woman crawled up to Aria limp body holding her bleeding stomach and cried bitterly.
Who is this woman?

"Who are you?" I asked in a deadly tone. If she's going to hurt Aria further I won't take it.

"I'm her mother, I'm Aria's mother". She said as she cried out with so much pain.

Aria can't stay here any further as I dragged out the four arrow out of Aria's body.

"Simeon my horses, Matthew help this woman, we're heading to the palace".

I ordered as I scooped Aria from the ground and climbed the horse heading to the palace as my guards helped the injured woman.
I kept on praying, Aria would be fine.
She'll be treated and she'll be fine.

We got to the palace as I climbed down from the horse holding my Aria in my hands. The more I stared at her pale face the more pain and anger I felt.
Stella will pay for this.

As I entered into the palace all the maids and guards stared at me and Aria with shock, some stared with guilt while others with fear.

Those with guilt and fear I'm going to deal with you for letting this happen to my Aria.

Maya and Clara ran towards me, they couldn't believe what happened to Aria.

"What are you all standing there doing? Go get me the best doctor and nurses, if he doesn't arrive here on time I'll kill you all". I shouted at them all, being so furious as they all fled to different direction panicking.

I walked up into an empty room laying Aria on the bed gently. I looked at her with sad eyes to see her covered in her own blood.
My sweet Aria please stay there for me... if not for anyone just for me please.
I won't stand it if I loosed you.

A doctor and a nurse quickly entered into the room as they started their check up and treatment on Aria.
I left the room in search of Stella.

"Guards, get me Stella and who was being sent to kill Aria, now". I commanded as they left.

"Clara who among this palace added to Aria's pain?". I asked with a rigid face.

"17 of them your highness".

"Call them out". I said as she did.

"We're sorry your highness, we didn't mean it, we were blinded by jealousy". They all pleaded.

"Shut up you rascals, one more word and you all will die faster than you ever thought". I warned dreadfully as they all knelt down bowing their head low on the ground and shivering in fear.

Stella was brought before me as I took out a dagger and placed it beside her eyes holding her shirt.

"You know too well I didn't kill her in such a manner". She said with no tints of fear.

"You still have the guts to talk". I yelled at her with her sudden calmness.

"Why marry her? I'm not that heartless to shoot her several arrows but I'm glad she's in such condition, she won't survive so you have no other choice to pick Me".

"One more word from you, consider yourself in severe pain". I said loosing my patience.

"You're highness this is the guard sent to eliminate maiden Aria". Matthew said pushing him to my front.

"You know what to do". I said not removing my gaze from Stella as she did same.

"Yes your highness". Matthew said and left with the guard.

"What will make me believe such rubbish you say? Claiming you're not heartless is a big fat lie".

"I told the archer to shoot her once not four time but I enjoy seeing her Dead". She spat out.

Hearing such nonsense from her I began to tear the side of her eye with the dagger as her blank face turned to fear.

"Stop it Anthony. What the hell are you doing?"

"You enjoy seeing her dead, why don't I feel joy killing you bastard".

"Anthony stop this madness, stop this please". She begged as I deepen the dagger.

"She makes me smile, she makes me happy, she gives me joy, she fills my lonely space, I fill fucking alive when she's with me and you want to take her away from me". I said as tears formed in my eyes.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry". She begged but I didn't listen.
I want to cause her same pain she caused my Aria.

"Anthony stop your madness this instinct". Mother shouted as she ran towards me.

"Mother one more step and this dagger will be thrown into your forehead".

"You can't do that, just because of a slave you're putting everyone's life at risk". Mother spoke angrily.

"Mother if you call my Aria a slave again you won't like what I'll do to you".

"I said she's a slave and that's... "

I cut her off throwing the dagger at her in rage but luckily for her the dagger hit the wall. Mother opened her eyes staring at me in fear.

I threw Stella to the floor as I took long step towards mother while she also moved backwards with equal fear.
Mother have made me really furious and she won't like my change of attitude.

"Mother weren't you there when Stella sent someone to kill Aria? I asked once I was standing in front of her with a hard stare but she didn't answer.

"Mother answer me". I yelled at her.

"No! I just wanted her to chase Aria away that's all".

"Why do you distaste Aria so much? She never did anything wrong towards you mother. She isn't even after power, money or wealth. She isn't against any of us royalties, she takes care of Kiran like her own brother. She does the right things always so tell me why you hate her?"

"Is just that... Is just that I don't want what happened to me to happen to you". She answered with a pale face.

"What the hell do mean?"

"I thought marrying Aria who is a peasant will take you away from me. I thought she would deceive you, I thought she would brain wash you, kill you and take over this kingdom just like the way your father mistress did to me. So I thought you marry from a royal home will prevent all that". Mother confessed with tears in her eyes.

So stupid of her to think so.

"Mother did Aria show any suspicious sigh?"

She shock her head negative.

"You know what's your problem mother. The past and grudges has eaten you up till the extent you can't think straight. Just know everyone's life and fate are different. You decided to pick Stella over Aria. Was Stella there to fix the misunderstanding I had with father for 15 years? No. The answer is no. If you didn't know, Aria safe place was this palace".
"But because of your stupidity, Aria is struggling with life and death. Mother if she dies, I'll never forgive you. You have just caused me so much pain already. Instead I pray on that day you die a painful death and rot in hell".

I spat out my anger and my pain as everyone looked at me shocked.

"For the rest of you idiots when Aria dies you all with die with her".

I pushed mother with my shoulder and left to see my Aria.

I entered into the the room in which Aria was, immediately I stepped in the doctor stared at me with agitation.

"Why such expression?"

"Your highness Aria is in a coma, she has no control over this situation, we'll need to wait for some hours for her to gain consciousness or nature might say otherwise". He said in one breath.

"Don't tell me such nonsense, you're the doctor bring her back to life".

"We'll do our best". He said as he stepped out.

God please, I beg you with every thing in me don't let Aria die. She's the reason while I'm still standing here.

I should have contended my anger at that time. I should have taken her with me to the battle ground because I know I would protect her. Father was right, I should learn to control my anger.
But this not my fault at all, It's my mother's because of her stupid mentality Aria ended up like this.

God if you bring Aria back to me I promise that I'll be a nice and kind man, I promise, pls just bring her back to me.

I sat down looking at Aria's lifeless body as I cried my eyes out. This is the first time I cried after a long while. I just want Aria back, I just want aria back to me.

"Brother, I heard what happened to Aria, when will she wake up?". He asked with teary eyes.

"I don't know Kiran but anytime soon". I said cleaning this tears in my eyes as I tried smiling at him.

"She better wakes up soon, I've got a lot to tell her. Rosy finally said she likes me, I help her in Math as she helps me in English". He said talking to himself.

"Who is this Rosy?"

"Aria will tell you that. I'll wait here till she wakes up". He said with full confident.

"We can't stay here much longer, Aria needs to rest. We'll come back later to check on her". I said calmly as he nodded his head in understanding, we both heading out.

It has been three days since Aria has been in coma. I haven't been able to rest, sleep and eat. I kept checking on her hoping she'll make a simple move of consciousness but in does three days she didn't.

I kept dying inside as the day pass by. Father entered into my study room with a gloomy face sitting opposite me.

"Son, why don't you go eat and rest for a while". Father said calmly.

"Why should I do that when Aria isn't in a good condition"
"I'll sleep and eat well when she wakes up". I said placing my forehead on the table.

"You know your mother regrets her action".

"She should keep regretting". I replied nonchalantly.

There came a knock on the door as Kiran ran inside with an anxious expression.

"Anthony, the doctor needs you now, it because of Aria". Kiran said panting a little which signals he ran towards here.

I quickly got up heading to the room where Aria laid as the doctor kept shaking his head with a sad expression.

"Why the hell are you shaking your head in such an annoying way".
I asked as my heart beat accelerated ready to hear what I don't want to hear.

"We lost her your highness". He answered with his head bowed low.

"You lost her or she gave up?"

"We lost her".

I walked up to him gripping his shirt with anger, pain and sting within my heart. How can he let her go.

"I paid you at high ransom and then you tell me you lost her. Wait a sec let me loose you". I said pushing him into the wall feeling so hurt that Aria was leaving me.

"Anthony please, let him go. Killing him won't bring her back".

Father pleaded as I threw him to floor and rushed over to Aria form.
I studied her carefully to see if the doctor was playing a trick but he was right.
Aria is white already, I placed my hand on her nose to see she wasn't breathing.
She finally left me to leave a lonely and hopeless life.

Kiran walked up to Aria dead form crying bitterly. The woman whom was injured and now treated also cried her eyes out. Maya and Clara broke down as they both sat on the floor trying to console themselves while Mrs. Margaret and Grandma wiped silently, the whole place was dull and dark.

Now I know why this palace was lively, it was because of one beautiful soul and that's Aria. The Royal Maid ❤.

The nurses covered Aria's dead form with a white sheet as we all were left to morn her death.

"Brother". Kiran called with wide eyes looking at Aria's covered body as everyone snapped their head towards him

"Yes". I struggled to say.

"It's Aria, she moved a little".

"Stop being delusional Kiran".

"No Anthony, come here please".

I walked up to her lifeless body and studied her carefully. And then her finger made a swifty move on the sheet which covered her.
No I'm not seeing clearly.
She moved her fingers in same motion as my eyes brightened.

"Brother I told you".

I ripped the cover from her as I waited for her to make another move to prove me right and my sweet heart did.

Her eyes flew opened to reveal those baby brown orbs I desperately wanted to see. Aria is back to me.

"Aria... " The woman who claims to be her mother called out her name in a vulnerable way.

"Mom". Aria replied with her angelic voice as she studied her environment.

I rushed over to her and hugged her tightly making her sit resting her head at the crook of my neck.

"Aria sweetie, your back to me. I thought you left me to suffer looniness and hopelessness. Thanks so much for returning back to me". I said as I cried holding her in my arms not wanting to let her go.

"Aww... I'm back now okay, so stop crying". She said sweetly rubbing her hands on my back.

"Aria don't you ever leave until I say so. I love you so much to let you go. I love you so much from the dept of my heart. You're the light to my part, loosing that light makes me completely dark, lonely and lost. Always stay with me Ari". I said softly taking in her lavender scent.

"And I will never leave you to stay alone. I found my companionship in your arms, I feel safe and secure in your arms. Loosing you also makes me lost, lonely and hopeless. For I also love you so much Tony".

And that's how I feel in love with A Royal Maid. Joseph came out of no where but he let the sleeping dog lie when he saw how much Aria loves me. He isn't that bad as I thought. Don't worry he'll find his love soon. But for Aria she's mine now and only mine.

"Aria dear, I'm sorry". I heard mother apologies.

Will her stupid apologies suppress the pain she's undergoing now.

"I forgive you Mrs. Esther. I know you had a reason to. Every mother want to protect their children but I assure you that I have never been a threat to anyone". Aria answered softly.

Just look at this nice girl, ready to make peace at any existence and here mother chose Stella over her. I've sent Stella away from this palace and away from my princess, Aria.

Mother walked up to Aria and hugged her lightly as she left with a sad expression.

"Aria I'm so glad you're awake, we've got a lot to talk about". Kiran said happily.

"We're also glad too". Maya and Clara said in union.

"Yeah... I see that". She replied grinning.

"Aria what can we prepare to make you feel healthy again". Sarah asked as the kitchen maidens stood behind her while Lucy stayed beside Sarah.

"Just some chicken soup". She replied giggling as they all went back to the kitchen cheerfully.

"Aria darling". Her mother said and hugged her.

"Mother". She replied with wide happy eyes.

"Your father hospital bill is been pain, your brother is out of jail and It's all because of this gentle man standing in front of you". Her mother said happily.

"Thanks so much Tony".

"Anything for you Ari".

"You both are getting married whether you like it or not''. Mrs. Margaret and grandma said in union making everyone chuckle.

The palace was lively again. I punished those who Insulted Aria severely and I saw myself a happy man. The woman who was once 'The Royal Maid' of this kingdom is now going to be my wife.

I and aria have been married for a year. I laid on my bed staring at my angel. She's goddamn beautiful and I know my kids are going to be beautiful as well.

I removed a strand of hair from her fluttered face and gave her a peck on the lips to wake her up but she pushed my face away and snuggled more into my chest.

Aww.... cute woman, making me want her the more, fun to make love with. Sweet because she's my virgin.

Aria quickly got up from bed covering her mouth as she ran into the restroom. I immediately followed her but she kept on throwing up in toilet holding her stomach.

I ran to the night table and poured her a class of water and went back into the restroom handing her the water. She quickly drank it all and released a heavy sigh.

"Are you okay sweetheart?" I asked being really worried.

"I don't think so Anthony dear". She replied holding her tummy as she walked back to the bed.

"Alright, stay here sweetie, let me get grandma". I said to her as she nodded her head.

I walked out of the room to get grandma. After some talk with Aria, grandma came out smiling as she kept saying.

"Yes,Yes,Yes".

"Grandma what's the yes all about?"

"You're going to be a father". She blurted out.

"What?" I asked unable to believe what I was hearing.

"You're going to be a father, Anthony". Grandma said joyously.

I rushed over to Aria as I stared into her eyes, ready for her to confirm it. Pls Aria say it's true. Lets this not be an expensive joke.

"Anthony I'm pregnant, if you don't... "

I cut her half way and hugged her daringly.

" Oh Aria, you just keep making me a happy person".

"I do?"

"Yes love, I'm happy you're pregnant with my first child".
"I love you soo much". I said soft heatedly.

"I'll keep on making you happy".
"For I love you too".
