Aria POV:

Joseph wants to marry me? Anthony wants to marry me?
I myself was too shocked to utter any word.

I looked at my hand to still see Joseph holding me tightly.

"Leave this premises at once". Anthony's mother ordered Joseph to do so.

"I'll love to leave with Aria". Joseph requested boldly.

Where did he learn that from?

"Don't be stubborn young man, just leave". Ma'am Annie said calmly.

Joseph glared at them and shifted his gaze to me but this time softly.

"I'll be back for you, I'll get you out of this donjon". He said quietly and left.

Before I could remove my gaze from him as he left through the palace gate there came a hard slap landing on my face.

I turned to see who took such action as I held my face my eyes filled with my tears. It was a lady on a red velvet short dress.

"You stupid wench, who the hell are you?".

The lady asked angrily.

"My name is Aria, The Royal Maid".

I saw myself answering and that's when another dirty slap landed on my face.

"You stupid female dog, you're even a nobody".

She Insulted.
While I tried holding the tears that threatened to fall.

"Why did you slap me?". I saw myself asking softly.
For my face was already hot red.

I looked over to ma'am Esther to see her enjoying every bit of the harassment while ma'am Annie looked at me with pity.

"You dear ask me a nonsense question, listen here you slut. Stay away from my man. Anthony is my man and I'm he's fiancee. He's mine and I'm his. Anthony will never marry you and I'll marry him, if you love your useless life, leave him alone, stay away from him, you stupid woman".

She yelled as she grappled my hair dragging it roughly while swinging me from right to left.

"Someone help me". I mentally cried as the gathered tears fell from my eyes uncontrollably.
What I've I done to deserve this? I knew I can over power her but the strength wasn't there, it seems like my body had the mind of its own.

She finally released me by throwing me on the floor by my hair. My head was already on fire as I sat on the floor with no more strength.

The young lady turned around as ma'am Esther and ma'am Annie followed her from bind but before ma'am Annie left she whispered a

"Sorry dear Aria".

And then I heard laughter's.
I looked around to see all the guards and maidens laughing at my humiliation.

Weren't this the people I showed care to, weren't this the people who I treated their sickness, I showed this people love, helped them financially and what they can do is laugh at me.
What a pity?

"Wow! Wow! Wow! This is really pleasant to see".

I heard Tianna say as she walked towards me clapping her hands and smiling in victory.

"I knew it, I knew you would end up as a useless being, hahaha... I like what I'm seeing. You're a stupid woman... A foolish one at that. You thought the king loved you, just see where you landed yourself into. If you have left the king as I told you to, you won't be in this humiliation. that's why you're a stupid woman. Everyone isn't aria a stupid woman". Tianna asked the guards and maidens with an evil smirk.

"Yes she is, what a stupid woman". The all Insulted.

"You see everyone is in support of me, you're indeed ineffectual, like I've always told you, you will always be worthless and frustrated all your life you wench, everyone rain your insult on aria, she deserves it". Tianna said wickedly

"Foolish woman"
"The king will never love you".
"You thought you could be queen".
"You're worthless
"A wench".
"Stupid woman".
"Stupid woman".

"Enough... I said It's enough".

Maya shouted angrily coming out from the crowed as Clara rushed over to me with teary eyes trying to lift me up.

"What is wrong with you all? Why speak ill towards Aria. I've you all suddenly forgotten what Aria has done for us all. She has helped us in many ways, she showed us love, she cared for us all, attended to us all when we were all under the weather gave us the most important thing called friendship and you dare speak ill of her? ". Maya asked as her anger grew.

"Oh pls stop this your useless rambling, you're talking complete nonsense, just leave this place". Tianna ordered.

"I see jealousy Tianna, everyone knows that you don't like Aria. Why? Because Aria is caring, Aria is intelligent, loved by people easily, coordinated, talented, focused, smart and that's why the king fell for her. So now tell me what quality do you have?". Maya asked being very annoyed with Tianna.

"Nothing... There's nothing the king likes from you...".

"You're such a bad friend, just tell me what kind of friend are you? Indirectly telling Aria to keep on sleeping with the king. I don't blame you because a friend of a wench also a bigger wench". Tianna spat.

Clara who has been subduing her anger walked up to Tianna, held her on the neck of her uniform ready to punch her on the face.

"Clara pls don't".I finally spoke.

"Aria just let me punch this bitch on the face". Clara said furiously.

"Please". I begged.

I'm tired of all this. I'm tired of all this insult.

Clara angrily threw her to the floor and stared at everyone with a scrowl.

"Everyone leave this place now". Clara commanded as everyone left to different direction.

"Thanks so much, thank you very much". I appreciated as the tears in my eyes fell releasing all the pain I felt.

My heart aches a lot.

"Who was that lady?".

"That is Stella, Anthony's fiancee". Clara answered.

The thought of Anthony having a fiancee pained me.
Why I'm I feeling like this? Do I like him? Or maybe more than that.
I love Anthony, It's too soon to say such.

He should have told me?
Who am I for him to tell me?
He is the king, he can toy with any maid of his choice.

I caused my problem, I should have pushed him when I had the chance. My heart really aches a lot
I have been truly Insulted.

"Aria stop over thinking, we will support you till death. Clara and I support you and the king being together". Maya said soothingly.

Yeah You both are the best.

I can't stand this insult for one day.
